I booked a nights stay for my sons 6th birthday, hes been asking forever to stay at hotel. The staff and Vanessa went above and beyond, we arrived to the room full of ballons and decorations! the staff was so kind and friendly they wished him a happy birthday. I highly recommend Mstar what a great experience and they made both my son his friend and my stay there memorable =)

I'm always so weary when booking a hotel, but this one was perfect. We stayed a week and were so thankful for the wonderful, friendly and kind staff. We now have a hone away from home when we are in Kitimat. The rooms were VERY clean, the beds were sooooo comfortable and the pillows are a dream. We highly recommend this for a comfortable, safe, and lovely place to stay in the heart of Kitimat and a short walk to everything.

It was a great stay from the first Hello! The rooms were spacious and the beds and pillows very comfortable. When I went down the next morning to meet my fishing buddy and 5:45 there were fresh pick blueberries and pastries to eat as well as some unique coffee blends to try! I was greeted by my first name and asked what lures I would be using! I was impressed that they actually cared about what I was doing and making sure I had the 'hot' colors! the next night I got an email asking if I had left the lights on my Expedition. When I went down in the morning I went to start my vehicle and it did start the first time! when I came back in the host was so worried that it wouldn't she offered her cables and a boost for me if I needed it. She said she went out to the vehicle to see if someone was still inside maybe waiting for someone but when she didn't see anyone she checked the licence plate and then checked the register to see what guests came from Saskatchewan! I really felt this was going above and beyond! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend everyone to stay here if you get the chance!

When you drive up to your hotel and it’s in a strip mall, you might start to worry. But don’t. This hotel was great. Cassandra at the front desk was very welcoming and greeted us with a glass of wine and cheese and crackers. (Everyone gets some from 5-6 pm) As we drank our wine in the comfy chairs in the lobby we watched people come and go. Some were regulars, others weren’t, and each was greeted with sincere enthusiasm. The room was clean and comfortable and big. Had a fridge and microwave. And coffee in the lobby was especially good. It included a decent breakfast of pastries/muffins and fruit.

What a wonderful hotel. The rooms are large and clean and have very comfortable beds. The staff are incredible… very friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 5 nights and we would highly recommend the Mstar for a stay in Kitimat.

What a great hotel! The staff are super helpful and friendly which made checking in a pleasure after a long day of driving. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are big and have all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The complimentary wine and cheese at wine time was a nice touch. If you are planning a stay in Kitimat I highly recommend staying here.

This lovely hotel was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. From check in to check out it was a great stay. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. The personal note from the housekeeping staff was a wonderful touch. Staff was very professional and friendly. I will be recommending this hotel to many. This will be my choice every time I come to Kitimat.

We chose the MStar Hotel for 6 nights in Kitimat for the convenient city centre location and we were not disappointed. It was close to everything but really quiet! The hotel was very clean and the staff was fantastic. So welcoming, friendly and helpful! Our room was nice and big with the most comfortable bed and pillows. We asked for an extra chair and were very quickly provided one. We also enjoyed the complimentary swim passes they offered. The continental breakfast was good with lots of selections and the coffee was great! The snacks and the wine and cheese in the lobby were a nice touch as well.
From start to finish the MStar Hotel provided a reasonably priced great place to stay and had the most exceptional customer service! We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Kitimat!

Hotel is very clean and staff were great. We stayed there for 4 nights during the Tier 4 Bantam provincials. Front desk staff were excellent. We would stay again. Good location for walking in the down town region. Close to dining, and the rec centre.

We have been staying at the Mstar in Kitimat on weekends since our daughter started training with the Hirsh Creek Golf and Winter Club team for BC Winter Games. The customer service at the Mstar is outstanding. They go the extra mile starting with making the reservation and continuing to check out. Love all the personal touches from the reservation email, friendly welcome, elephant towel and personal note when you arrive in your room. The rooms are a nice size and very clean. The beds are super comfortable, and you are always guaranteed to have a good sleep. We look forward to our return visits and are sad that we only have a few more trips before this year's curling season is coming to an end. Hope to see you next year.

I would definitely give this hotel a 5 star rating. The staff is amazing and so welcoming. Upon arrival we were offered a complementary glass of wine and they also had a cheese and fruit tray to snack on. We went for our sons 7th Birthday and when we got to our room there was a little Birthday note with free swim passes and popcorn. My son felt extra special! The rooms are nice and big and the beds are super comfy. Had a great nights rest.

This is a nice addition to the town of Kitimat, the only advice I recommend is not to get a room on the Tim Hortons side. The noise from the drive through speaker was quite annoying. Other than that its a step up from the Chalet and walking distance to all the amenities.
