Checked in late. Front desk lady was great. Room was good. Bed was comfy. Remote didn't work, but didn't really need TV anyways. Breakfast was perfect. Waffles, eggs, sausages, yogurt, cereal, toast fresh fruit.

Fantastic Hotel choice in Fort Nelson. I did a bit of research on a few other spots here and ended up with Super 8. I'm very glad I did. To be honest, I thought Super 8's were a bit low-scale but I was proven WAY wrong here. Super friendly service, great ameneties (WATER SLIDE! ), and great room! I will be heading back this way in a few months and will certainly stay here again.

We stayed here for one night on our way up to Alaska and it was exactly as we expected. Nothing too special in the rooms but the pool/hot tub/water slide were incredible! I couldn't believe the speed on the slide, so much fun. Pool was open till 10pm too so heaps of time to enjoy. Emu was working on reception that night and she couldn't have been more helpful throughout the night, she really went above and beyond for us.

The only star is because of the gentleman at the front desk who was very kind. Upon opening the door to our room, there was a strong sour odor. Additionally, the bed sheets were extremely wrinkled as if they’d been slept in and just placed back onto the bed without being washed. If I had any other real option in Fort Nelson, I would have gone elsewhere.

This is a very nice Motel. The swimming area is one of the best I've seen. Weight room was clean and up-to-date also. They have a hot breakfast that was very good. Staff was very polite and helpful. And for all of you motorcycle riders out there they even gave me a towel to clean off my bike after it rained :-)

Was a good room, could use a bit of renovation (peeling wallpaper over AC unit), other than that it was clean. Staff was nice, breakfast was available at 5am.

Its decent better than what I remember growing up. We also have a family suite I like it.

Clean and centrally located for walking around. The staff was very nice and even flew an Alaskan flag for us! What a great way to way up and to see your home flag flying. Thanks.

The clerk at the desk was great. Very helpful and friendly, the room appeared clean. But a "pet friendly" room shouldn't have white linens, then require guests to bring their own for their pets. But on closer inspection, the room wasn't all that clean.

Very nice staff good breakfast clean room I recommended to anyone. Good place for kid.

Central location, rooms well acessoriate.

Arrived late at night, and the first 4 sets of room keys didn't work. The cheery front desk clerk swapped rooms around and ended up getting me in after a short while. Spacious room with a sitting room and partial kitchenette (though without cutlery or dishes). The heating didn't keep the room very warm.

Stopped in to this small town hotel. Asked to pay them for use of their fax machine. The lazy guy at the desk refused even though there were zero customers or anyone else needing help. What a creep. Went next door to the Lakeview a nicer more modern motel. The desk clerk sent my fax and couldnt have been more helpful. He even refused payment. Super 8 could learn a thing or two from their competitor next door. Super 8 lot is empty. Lakeview was busy. I checked in after they sent my fax.

Not bad, not many tenants at the time of my stay do hot water took a long time to come on. Other than that, typical super 8.

Enjoy fort nelson. Beds were nice and this place is super clean.

This was my first Super 8 I had ever stayed at. I checked in after 15 hours on the road, the rooms were clean, staff was nice. I had pets with me and asked for the first floor, they had outside access which was very nice. Not much was open in the way of food, except Domino's which they delivered and the from desk gave a coupon too. The rooms were pretty big, the bed was comfy and the water was hot. I would stay there again for sure.

Nice Executive Suite. Clean rooms. Main floor Suite had door open to outside.

The people were friendly and helpful. The bed was excellent. The room was clean and well stocked. I have stayed twice in the last month. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great room for a large family. It had three full size beds. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

The GM was there after 1230a. M. When I checked in, offered to help take luggage to room, & find a place for longer vehicle/trailer. Hotel room was well equipped (microwave, refrigerator) and nicer than expected, haven't stayed at a Super 8 in years! Service was solid. Well lit parking lot for trailer also.

Great pit stop on a road trip. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and the beds were dead comfortable. Maybe a tad overpriced, but it's great to have Wi-Fi and solid curtains.

The front desk staff was very friendly — — the owner introduced himself and was extremely nice. The room was wonderful! And my dogs were welcome for a small extra fee. With Boston Pizza right next door it was so convenient to have a good meal at the end of the day and then relax in such a comfortable room and get a good nights rest. I'll be staying here for sure on my next trip through. This was great — thanks Super 8!

This motel is showing it's age. However, I don't mind staying there for work, and added bonus is pool and hot tub. Staff is friendly, the one lady who has been there many years has a good memory, I stay only maybe twice in a year but she remembers my name. As far as the age of the motel goes, I find little things that need attention such as the receptacle at the desk that is so worn my phone charger won't stay plugged in — there are other receptacles that I then use but just not quite as convenient, so when I check out I make sure to tell them. How else will they know, I don't think it's right to drop the rating by little things like that. Overall I've got no complaints and will stay there next time.

My husband and I were driving from the US through Canada into Alaska. We've stopped at at least 10 hotels on our trip, and this was by far the best! We were in room 122, a king size room. It had a full kitchen, equipped with a fridge, stove, and dishwasher. The room was very clean, with the exception of a few stains, though, there was no smell. The hotel staff was very friendly, especially their General Manager, Mounir Ramzy. He made an effort to make conversation with us and even gave our dogs treats. We would stay again, and would recommend this hotel to anyone! Wish I could give it 500 stars!

Room was clean and staff was friendly. I left some expensive electronics behind but didn't notice until we were 12 hrs away. I called and the manager arranged to ship my items. Due to complications at the post office, they had to make numerous trips to complete the shipment, which they did. Good customer service. Thanks!

Overall great, but not superb. The dual room access with each room having a door inside the main hallway and one to the outside makes sense. The TV and fridge were great additions more like this need to do. The only real issue was the check out and the additions to the bill that were not notes when checking in. Most of these were taxes and extra stuff, like room safe use. In addition to the outside access (only 1st floor), each room has a parking space to correspond with the door access. This is great, only if your neighbors aren't retarded at parking like mine were, but there was an empty unassignedspace next to.

One of the best super 8's I've stayed at. Staff was attentive and the room was great.

Horrible experience. Their flat rate is 158$ a night and the air conditioning in our room didnt work. It was so hot all night and when I went to pay I made the front desk lady aware of this and she still charged me full price! Not even a sorry or anything. The worst part is she didn't even ask how my stay was. Just what room were you in? And how will you be paying. No customer service here at all. I drove 11 hours to get here the day before and have another 11 hours to go today and didn't sleep at all. Would've been better off staying in the vehicle in the parking lot. Not impressed in the slightest.

Stayed here in October 2014 driving down from Alaska with my whole family, my dad, pets, and a caravan of stuff. Rooms were very nice, staff was pleasant, pool and slide frightened my children enough that they still talk about it and want to go back. Staying at the Fort Nelson Super 8 changed my whole opinion of the chain such that driving back from the states we looked for Super 8s to stay at; Dawson Creek in late September 2015 (no pool there, though).

Way too much money for what you get. The hotel is clean but they have to hold it to an industry standard so that is to be expected. Staff is very rude and breakfast is less than appetizing.

Very nice stay. I have now stayed here on 5 different occasions and have been thoroughly impressed every time. My only complaint would be that the pool has never been operational during my stays. It would be nice to go for a dip after a long day on the road. Maybe they should ditch the pool and get a steam room.

The person on the night shift was rude and obviouslly not well trained in the hospitality business. On the other hand the cleaning staff and morning person were very friendly and totally helpful in all respects. I would stay here again, but would try to avoid the night shift or stay some where else. The breakfast was the typical bad quality canadian food.

I've stayed here twice now on business, once for a week, once for four days. Both times I have found the rooms clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. I particularly like the contenental breakfast here especially compared to other places where a contenental breakfast means some cold cereal and stale bagels. Here you can make your own waffles, orange and apple juice on tap, variety of coffee and tea, and a full selection of pasteires, fresh fruit, etc. The one nit to pick is the price. It's about double of what I would expect to pay, but it is Northeastern BC, five hours away from the next town, and the area is booming with the oil patch.

The people who answer the phones for super 8 in Nelson need some lessons in courtesy! Come on people you're in the Hospitality Business, don't take it out on the customer — — it's pooooooorrrrrr business.
