Been here over a week, room had dirty counter tops when I entered it, they haven't cleaned my room in over a week, haven't even changed my towels or dumped my garbage. Gross… I wouldn't recommend this place.

Pet friendly is always a bonus.

This is my new favourite place to stay when we are in town, We got a great room with a jacuzzi bath which was amazing, the rooms are spacious and super clean. The breakfast though is just outstanding and the pool is great. Perfect hotel with great staff and a perfect location.

I highly recommend this place! we stopped in for the night on our way across the country and I was highly impressed! I'd you come, book room 142, it has a walk out to the pool! so awesome!

We stay here ever time we go to Medicine Hat. Nice little place to stay, close to stores. Inside is outdated but it’s neat and tidy. Pet friendly and really nice hot breakfast every day.

We were given wrong directions to our room. Got the wrong room with wrong size beds. Then moved to another room to find one of the beds had dirty sheets and comforter. Would never stay here again!

Location is great, front staff are very friendly but the room was extremely small, and surrounded on 3 sides by hallways, with a door on both sides of the room. You could barely fit in the bathroom at all without hitting your knees on the door or bathtub. Not sure if this was just an unusual room or if it's the norm.

My hotel chain of choice for trans-Canada road trips is Choice Hotels. This hotel is no exception. The room was clean and fresh, and the parking out front is a must-have for me and my motorcycle — the friendly staff was sure to accommodate this request. There are gas stations and restaurants / fast-food chains right next door. I liked how it had a spread out, single-story, almost resort-like feel. The free breakfast included is always a great value, with many options, and it is the perfect start to a long day on the road. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

The inn is a lovely stay. Definately a five star rating. I would recommend to anyone wanting a high quality stay for a reasonable price. Their service was so wonderful and the staff were lovely. Tell ALL of your friends to stay here.

Staff were super friendly! Even at 1 am, the customer service was amazing! The room was a 10/10 for cleanliness. For the price the rooms were average size, I was impressed as it is a 3 star hotel. The breakfast included was great, and very convient you can park your car in front of your room.

The room was a bit small but clean and well kept. My issue was with the customer service. Clearly there were some new staff being trained but check-in should not take 25 minutes including an interruption from the manager that didn't have anything to do with checking me in. Some training in professionalism would go a long way here. Evening staff was unable to direct the pizza delivery to our room and we found him wandering around looking for it. Check out wasn't much better with me standing at the counter right in front of the clerk for a good 30 seconds before she acknowledged me. I would consider staying again in hopes there has been some training done but it really left a bad taste in our stay.

No no no no. First we were offered a room that still looked and smelled like the party from last night. Sure we will take an upgrade. Thank you for the rusty bathroom sinks. The black/green slime in the jacuzzi tub because the tap leaks. I would fill it up and relax but there is no plug. Wait I found it on the coffee table. 27 degrees is an awesome comfortable temp to sleep in because the ac makes noise but that's it. The hallways were fun at first with all the strange left and right turns. It was like navigating a corn maze. Not a level hall way in the place made it more like navigating a farmers field. Half the place smelled of wet moldy carpet thanks to a pool over fill. Oops. No one was watching. Oh and the pool was great too. The bottom is like being at a real beach. All sandy and gritty just like the real thing. Just as green/black as the tub in our room. Our group rented 4 rooms on total. Rest assured we will be staying elsewhere next year.

Helpful and freindly staff, but the rooms are sub-par. They kept it way too warm with limited temp control in room, we had to sleep with window open in March. The beds weren't very comfortable and the bathroom is basically a closet. Prices aren't terrible, and its right on the highway, but there is definitely better "quality" for the $.

Recently stayed here for 2 nights. Within the first hour of being in the room we found makeup in the sofa pull out bed & a used drinking box on the floor that I found my grandson trying to drink from. This may sound trivial, but the window said "wash me" it was quite clear it had not been cleaned in some time. The parking lot had not been cleared of snow nor had it been salted therefore it was in terrible condition for loading and unloading vehicles. We had asked ahead of time for a later check out and we were told not a problem. The day of our check out housekeeping came to our door and the front desk called our room 5 times. It was very annoying. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Awesome hotel for the price paid. The room was big with really comfy beds. The fitness center was a decent size and the pool and hot tub area was clean. The staff are friendly and the area was quiet. The hotel was also a closer distance to downtown from the other hotels. The continental breakfast was like any other hotel. The one main difference was Gayle sits in the room and assists with stocking the food to make sure nothing is running out. Thank you quality inn. I'll be back.

Awesome late night employee that helped us out big time when nowhere else in town would check us in at 5am. The rest of the hotel was mediocre at best but clean enough we were not upset much about anything (clean bed with no bugs to be seen, we always check the matress) Doesn't look like they're has been much updating done in the last 20 years in the section we were in. Our heater would make a awful noise every 20 min or so when turning on/off. We could have sworn our neighbor was flushing out toilet every half hour. The shower would randomly freeze you then scald you shortly after. The breakfast was far from appetizing but after a 3 hour drive and 8 hour shift we both choked it down while the old lady serving breakfast made everyone feel unwelcome. On par with Ramada and Travelodge medicine hat. If you have high standards or your wife is gonna complain about everything wrong with the room keep looking.

Nice rooms and hot tub, with a smallish swimming pool. Ok for splashing around but not for swimming or exercise. Lost 2 stars for graffiti in parking area, ice rink of a parking lot, trash left behind in night stand drawer from previous occupant and not being cleaned, room keys taking programming twice for only 1 of the two cards I received to eventually work, outside building access doors not unlocking with my room keys, and one of them not locking at all, leaving the building open at that entrance for anyone to walk in. Toilet paper dispensers in bathroom were rusty. Flapper valve on the toilet in my room needed replacement. Had to physically push it down to stop the water running after flushing the toilet. Tried plugging in a game console to the TV in my room, wouldnt give me any sound no matter what I did. Front desk staff were friendly and polite. For what its worth, it feels like the staff here are working hard and trying to make the place nice, but the building could use a little more maintenance.

2 pools 2 hot tubs, Jacuzzi in room 307, hot breakfast, 79.00 special, walk out room, parked right out front, friendly staff.

Location was good. Free parking. But poorly maintained and kept. The heat wasn't really working which didn't help when it was — 30 outside.

Pretty standard hotel, two pools is interesting. The room was clean but some noise from the pool machinery was quite persistent through the night.

I'd stayed at this hotel previously and chose it again as it is quiet, clean and they have reasonable rates. I also like staying in the double Queen Suite which has its own entrance you can drive up to. The free breakfast included was just okay but there were not too many options.

Average place to rest. Not much space but very clean. The staffs are very nice and cooperative. They have nice pools and pretty nice routines. The only problem was the pricing, its quite expensive for what you get. But all in all, I would recommend it if you're really desperate.

The last time I was here (a few months ago), there was some confusion about our reservation. So we got significantly upraded to a room that was double the regular size. Great customer service. Also decent breakfast and the rooms were clean.

It was easy to get to from the highway. The staff where freindly, the rooms where clean and quiet. There was lots of room to put the dog crates.

Good staff, Private, Free Breakfast. Real breakfast. Free laundry. Pet friendly.

Thank you for the room it was clean and cosy just what I needed after a hot day. The bed was good. Soft clean towels. Free breakfast was good.

We were in the pet room so it wasn't the most beautiful room in the world but it saved us on a long trip with our dog. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was good.

The room size was nice and just right for me and my husband. It was nice and clean. The shower though was not good as it can go from really cold to really hot water. It seems like you couldn't get the right water temperature.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Rooms were small and the bathroom was the size of a coat closet. Half the lamps didn't work and the tub wouldn't drain. But the night staff was very accommodating when our 3 year old found blood splatter on his bedsheets. Pool was drained and closed. All of this for the low low price $147.00. Breakfast was good though. 1 star for breakfast.

Clean, friendly staff. Pool hours are reasonable. Rooms are a little dated but not a bad experience at all. Would recommend.

It was a decent location in medicine hat close to amenities. The room was standard nothing extraordinary but the staff were the friendliest I have ever encountered at a hotel stay.

Nice room, accept dog, nice outside access to your room and good breakfast is included. Wi-Fi is also pretty fast compared to previous hotel I stayed.

It was good. To bad the hot tub wasnt open after 10, as we got into town just after and were not allowed into the hottub.

The hot tub was nice and hot. The heated pool was nice. We liked the two floor room with two queen beds, since one of them was in a loft with it's own bathroom and TV. The night manager upgraded us for free, because she saw my wife had a cain.

Although staff were pleasant, the accommodation were OK at best — the floors were pretty dirty in the unit, both keycards failed a couple times and at one point in time some unidentified person walked into our room early in the morning and left right away when we were still in the room… Not entirely sure why the room only has a window facing into a hallway when it has walls that adjoin with outside, and the sound proofing seems to have problems, despite there not being anyone in any of the nearby units… Many of the additional facilities were partially out of service. The breakfast was OK as well. I would give it just south of 50% overall.

I'm diamond select and stay an average of 140 nights annually in hotels. I highly encourage best western members and business travellers to avoid this Best Western. It is a 'plus' because of the amenities they offer, but it doesn't feel or look like any other plus. Normally I can tolerate a not-so-great BW for the points program, but not this one. It's old, stuffy, and poorly insulated to noise and temperature. Think of it as: state of the art 1990. My bigger problem is that they like to give 'free upgrades' to rooms which are worse. When I ask for the room I originally book they say they rented them out already. That is a very shady way to skim profits from customers and ensure they are maximizing their revenue at our expense. Book a business suite and get 'upgraded' to a double queen in the basement so someone else can book the same business suite… They did this twice in a row. I'm done with their scams. Don't come here. The Holiday Inn near the Casino is a much better alternative.
