The staff was awesome, rooms were clean and overall a good experience.

Friendly, helpful staff, quick check in, and a phone call within 5” of entering the room asking if everything was satisfactory. Expectations exceeded!

I think this hotel needs more pleasant people at their front desk. Would definitely recommend to avoid a woman named Crystal who is rude and nosey. Also the other receptionist named Fredrick I believe asked me ''Why did you come to Lethbridge'' Which I felt was unwelcoming. The internet didn't work at all!

Great place to stay. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and bed/pillows comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was decent. The staff was wonderful at checkin/check out and well as other support staff that I interacted with during the stay. Unfortunately there was no hot tub to go with the pool which I didn't realize before booking.

Our short stay was sweet and delightful. Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The continental buffet breakfast was superb and staffs were amazing. My family loved the pool and really had a great time. Definitely recommendable to friends and we would love to be back again.

No continental breakfast. A few Nutrigrain bars ledt on a table in the front lobby that were gone very quickly. Found multiple beetles in my room. When I picked up a towel in the bathroom, there was 3. When I said something about it to the front desk, they took off my pet fee. Not a Very satisfying experience.

Stayed there for a few nights. Room was nice (got upgraded) however being woken up by next door playing TV loudly at 5am wasn't fun. Location was good, however there were a few people hanging around outside late at night.

This place is ran down, dirty and smells like it has been smoked in for years. Not only that if you are looking to get a decent night sleep good luck. I heard traffic all night long. I am giving it a 2 stars instead of 1 because of the staff. The little cleaning lady with a raspy voice was very sweet. The front dest lady was also helpful.

I travel to Lethbridge for work often. I've stayed in a few places. This is by far the best. Pay the extra little bit (not much more than the cockroach motels) and you will be pleased. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are big, the beds are comfy and the blankets are heaven. They are beyond pet friendly. There is even a little park out back for my dog to run around. I highly recommend the sandman and if I come back to Lethbridge, I won't stay anywhere else!

It was good, the conference rooms were in which gave us a lot of space to have different conferences is going on at one time.

Building/rooms smell of smoke. Pool is nice. Staff very friendly.

This hotel is in a great location! It has that going for it. However, it looks and feels pretty dated and is need of some renovation. Also, the gym is quite poorly equipped. Don’t use the universal machine as it’s rusted out and has frayed cables — very unsafe.

Reception was friendly and fast getting us into our room, our beds were super comfy but 20% extra for room service. Better off walking downstairs for food or getting delivery from the pizza joint next door lol that I was kinda of surprised with for the price of the room. Pool was clean but had to ask for towels. Over all was a good night but some things could be better for customers. Double room was much smaller then ive got at other places. I think ill try somewhere else next time.

I booked online with my visa debit card as we were on our way there. Upon arrival at about midnight while checking in I was informed that I have to have a credit card in case of damages to the room. Well I don't have one so I asked if he could simply take the deposit required for the credit card out of my debit and then just refund me at time of check out. He made a big deal of it and said he will make an exception this one time. I paid double the deposit through my debit and went to the room. The booking said it would be 2 double beds. Normally in my experience doubles are at least queens or fulls but no… we had the tiny double bed to share. There were no windows to open for air flow. They are attached to a Dennys so naturally I assumed there would be a discount to breakfast for staying at the hotel… nope! Honestly I will never stay there again or in any sandman hotel in fact. I don't need a credit card and will not be forced to have one simply cause a hotel changes it's policies and doesn't inform their clients of this anywhere at the time of booking online. I found this new stipulation in the fine print after check out and receiving my debit deposit back in full. I was ready to walk out and go to literally any other hotel where I wasn't going to get hassled… comfort inn in Lethbridge has never given me a problem with this and their amenities are far better and more worth the money and have significantly better customer service.

It a clean confortable hotel in a cinvienient location it could use a complementary breakfast tho that's the only negative I can think of.

Put us in a room with a bunch of flies… Dead and alive. Then we were told we had to move to a room two doors down so maintenance could store a ladder in our current room for construction down the hall. Woulda been no problem if we weren't packed for a two week stay!

While I didn't stay at the hotel, I attempted to eat at the restaurant, Denny's. We waited for 10 minutes to be seating, even though the place was more than half empty. It took another 15 minutes to receive drinks. The waitress informed us that if we were eating, it would be at least 35 minutes before we received our breakfast. Since we were on a time crunch, we were unable to eat. When we wanted to pay, it took an additional 20 minutes to flag someone down and finally pay.

I stay here whenever I come to Leth bridge. This time my wife and I got our room and when we got to it we were surrounded by a teenage sports team understandably it was loud, However when I went down stairs to see if we could change floors I was very impressed with the quick response and was also upgraded to a mini suite. Always a great service and friendly staff.

Great staff, professional crew. There was ample parking as well.

S'pretty nice hotel. Handy to have the Denny's right next to the lobby.

Curfew for alcohol is at 12. Too soon.

Need more real plug in's on the room not cord with 2 plug ins that u can't plug in laptop chargers.

Modern, renovated, friendly, clean. And Denny's had great food too! Very happy with our stay.

Older building but recently renovated, however the work must have been rushed and is a bit rough cosmetically in some areas. No real complaints though, beds are comfortable and the shower was clean. No free breakfast, but that seems to be standard for the Sandman chain.

Service was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Excellent for our overnight!

Other than running a really poor Internet connection and the fact that you can't switch input on TV it's nicer than some places I've seen… the staff is pretty friendly and usually help you out in any way they can…

Very clean and classy suites. The staff was very friendly and courteous. However we were disappointed when the bar closed 3 hours early.

Front desk employee Katie was super accommodating, we booked an extended stay due to some scheduling issues with moving from another city. Mike (front manager) gave us an upgrade and was friendly and cheerful. Clean room, comfy bed and the bar downstairs was great!

We stayed in this hotel for one night. The carpet was so dirty we could not remove our shoes. The ceiling in the bathroom was crumbling over top of the bathtub. There was excrement on the wall beside the toilet in the bathroom. The sheets on the bed were dirty. The guest chairs and valance in the room were covered in dirt and dust so thick that it was difficult to breathe in the room. We have never stayed in a more disgustingly unclean hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a problem right from the start. We thought it was going to be another hotel search. Not so! Not only did they accommodate us, and they put is in for what we asked for, they made sure we were satisfied. They helped us out big-time, and I would definately recommend them to anyone!

Great staff, excellent service with a smile, been coming here for years, treated me and my two boys like special guests, will continue to come to come to this great hotel and city.

Great overnight spot for us. Easy to get to off Hwy. 3, close to all amenities and activities. Comfortable room, mini fridge & microwave, real glasses and cups are a nice touch too. Staff are very friendly, fun and helpful. Morning fruit, breakfast cereal bars and coffee station made for a great start for an early departure but also a Denny's Restaurant right there for a sit-down breakfast if you have time. Also, a 7-11 is in the same parking area for all your conveniences. Very pleased with our stay.

Location was excellent and very easy to find. The beds were not comfortable, rooms are on the smaller side. Housekeeping did a poor job.

Great hotel. Clean. Fantastic, friendly staff. LAChefs are some of the best caterers around. Our company uses this location every year for our 170 employees plus spouses/significant others and we've never had an issue!

This is the second year in a row we have attended a Christmas party at the Coast Hotel. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The banquet room was exceptionally clean. The meal was a buffet, lots of choices to choose from and very very good. The banquet staff were very quick to remove dirty dishes and bottles from our table. Very impressed.

We attended a staff Christmas function. It was the 2nd time we have been there. Both times the food was fabulous and the service was excellent. Very friendly and courteous staff. I'd definitely go back, consider staying or booking an event there in the future.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. In for a conference they had visual aids (that worked) fruit kabobs and brownies did by the famous LAChefs. Really lovely to walk into with the outside fountain still going… Amazing for the middle of Nov. Great Fire pit in front of restaurant area. Really nice ambiance.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Sandman. We were upgraded to the Corporate Executive Suite. I look forward to staying at the Sandman. I would recommend the management to improve the quality of the gym.

Rooms were clean and up to date. Service was accommodating and pleasant.

Room is modern and sizeable. Front guest services were friendly and efficient. Some road noise is still quite noticeable even on the eighth floor. Connected Denny's restaurant and cold beer store is convenient.

Loud vehicles outside at all hours of the night. Poorly maintained. Staff either don't care, or aren't given the authority to help with any guest complaints.

The service was great Aidan checked us in and was very friendly and polite. The room was very clean and spacious our rest was good. The checkout was quick and efficient and Crystal was very professional.

For the last 3 years I have stayed 7 nights at the Sandman Hotel in Lethbridge and was booked for another 3 and 4 Day stay this year. The Hotel itself is dated but comfortable. To validate my review I have stayed in Hotels and Motels all over north America, Europe and Africa, everything from 5 Star to No Star and never have I been treated with such discourtesy on several occasions by a member of the Hotel staff. The disagreement was in relation to Sandman's program of stay 12 nights and the 13th is free. I had just stayed for 3 nights in February but was told that because I had booked the room back in October last year that I was not entitled to have the credit for the three nights. I called The Sandman Head Office to cancel my reservation for the four days this month. I was informed that the best they could do was to switch my corporate rate to a Senior Rate (they also have a special program for seniors) and that would be a reduction of 75 cents a night to $99.00 instead of $99.75, taxes and fees not included. I informed them that my experiences at the Sandman in Lethbridge I never wanted to stay at a Sandman ever again. I was told that I would have to pay for one night as it was a promotion in spite of the fact that the Reservation email I received stated that to cancel or change my reservation I had to call them to cancel by 4:00 PM local hotel time. Today is March 4th and the reservation is for March 15th.

We stayed here but never again, no fridge in room, one ice machine for 8-10 floors but it did not work, pigeons (rats with wings) on ledge just outside window, very unsanitary,

So far not impressed. Tried to swim in pool and can't even hear myself think. Pool becomes way too noisy with just a few people it hurts. Asked desk staff for pool towels and wasnt even sure if they would do it. Wifi is bad, cuts out constantly. Cant watch movie on device. Booked room type and told wasn't available even though room was confirmed. Not recommended.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Found numerous bedbugs over multiple stays. Wi-Fi connection is terrible — constantly cutting out. Even the hotel itself pirates the Denny's internet on the main floor because their connection sucks so much. Loud trucks reving their engines up and down the main road outside all night long which keeps you up. The room temperature fans sound like diesel engines when they kick in, waking you up. There's no option to run them continuously in half the rooms — they come on randomly. The hotel location is in an industrial type area which is away from any good places. Stay clear of this terrible establishment.

Large truck company from Lethbridge and all over Canada hires forgein truck drivers and puts them up here. Plus they call into the bar in the sandman hotel on a regular basis and the staff in the bar are so so friendly! Too friendly by far, even when they know the drivers have wives and children. This hotel is a dump and very shabble.

First Impression: weird parking lot/entrance, and the surrounding businesses cheapen the area making it less welcoming Once inside: nice entrance, staff friendly and welcoming. They were the best part of the hotel, but it got worse after that. Room: hair all over the bathroom floor, toilet and shower. In a top-floor exec suite. No bug screen on the window and about 10-15 big gross houseflies buzzing inside the window pane. Loud people in the parking lot until almost 2 am because there is a bar attached to the lobby and apparently Kareoke night on a Monday is a great mix with a hotel full of people trying to sleep. Fail. Loud bar-goers in parking lot kept me up til 2 am. Not recommended for business travelers. Other points: no continental breakfast included because there is a Denny's attached to the place where you can pay extra for your breakfast. Double fail.

Its a bit of a crappy old hotel, has a dennys in it, a liquor store, and a 7-11 attached. Sort of low budget hotel.

Wrong location! Same as Sandman Hotel Lethbridge.
