The most beautiful and elegant place I have ever had the privilege of staying at.
The owners and staff are wonderful and will make your stay an experience for the books. Patrice and Zeke, you are absolutely the best. The heartwood accommodates couples for the perfect getaway and families for the full Drumheller experience. Not to mention Zekes famous French toast is to die for.

Our room was upgraded for free to the upper turret. The room was clean and spacious, and the jacuzzi tub was lovey. There was a separate entrance close to the parking area which was great. We did not participate in breakfast due to dietary restrictions but it smelled really good. The inn is within walking distance of the downtown area as well as other restaurants. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and provided great tips for exploring the area and avoiding peak busy times. I would recommend this inn to friends and family traveling to Drumheller and look forward to my next stay.

I honestly wish you didn’t have to put one star to write a review, I wouldn’t even give this place a one star. By far the worst service I have ever had. This is the first time that I am writing a review and doing so because I felt I needed to inform other people about how rude the service was. We had gone on a long camping trip in BC and decided to stop on our way back home in Alberta for a few nights and relax, we ended up making it into town very late (we even called and wanted to cancel for Monday night because we knew we wouldn’t be there in time), but they were fully booked so we informed him that we wouldn’t be there until around 4-5am and he never had a problem with that. When we did arrive in town, we parked in front of the inn and called to let him know we arrived and if we were able to get into our room, he informed us that nobody would be able to let us into our room until after 7am — which was fine — WE WERE WILLING TO WAIT TO BE LET INTO OUR ROOM THEN! He proceeded to be very ignorant and yell at us on the phone and telling us how mad he was that we made it to town at that hour — even after we told him we were willing to wait! I have never had such a horrible, rude customer service experience. Be aware! I would never recommend this overly priced waste.

Rooms are very clean and well decorated, spa body scrub was amazing, staff are very polite and friendly and the gardens are very beautiful. The bed sheets are the most cozy sheets in existence — no idea why they are so soft and I forgot to look for a label to see what material they are made of because I want to go buy a set for home. The only deal breaker is the lack of a coffee maker in the room. I'm very early to rise and must have a morning cup of coffee ASAP.

Great place! VERY clean (& I'm fussy) and lovely owners. They also have a delicious breakfast! My son loved this place as well and they were great with him. Definitely recommend it if you are in Drumheller.

A quaint little inn with quite the history. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they recmmonded great places to eat and to go and explore. Easy to get to and conveniently located close to amenities. 100% would recommend to stay here, I know we will be again when we come back!

We had to find a hotel on short notice, and I’m so glad we found this place! Such a pretty building and very unique rooms. The lady and gentleman who helped us out at the desk were absolutely wonderful too! And the price was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.

Best sleep in ages. Extremely comfy bed, lovely Jacuzzi in The Cottage, beautiful and quaint. Also a couple dino's to take pictures with outside in the garden. They offer some lovely Romance packages if you would like to pamper your significant other! Hosts were very kind and accommodating. Did I mention, I haven't slept this well in ages! Room has A/C, TV with cable, fridge, toiletries, couch, beautiful area for with Jacuzzi tub. Patrice also offered a breakfast tray and to make herbal tea for me when I was feeling run down from traveling. Awesome :)

This place has great character and is a way better option then your standard boring hotel room.

I really enjoyed my peaceful stay at this charming little inn. The hosts were friendly and even offered me a choice of rooms. They gave friendly advice of places to enjoy a meal. Recommended if you enjoy quiet and comfort.

The absolute best place in Drumheller. Do not miss this fantastic little gem of a bed and breakfast everytime I come to Drumheller now I will stay here.

My wife & I stayed at the Heartwood Inn March 16, 2018. They had no problem waiting for us to arrive, as we arrived late after travelling through a terrible snow storm. They were super friendly & actually upgraded our room to the honeymoon suite when we arrived! We loved our stay here. They were the friendliest people, and the Inn is beautiful. We had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Loved our cottage. Extremely accommodating! And dog friendly.

My bf brought me here for a 2 night relaxing break … we all have hectic busy lives … and thats just what we did was relax, we have a lovely king bed and a jetted tub. My only negative thing is im English and I like to drink tea, there is not kettle or anything in the room to be able to make myself a drink at any time, so my bf was making a lot of trip to McDonalds over the road lol to get me a tea.

My husband and I stayed for two nights in the winter. The owner of the inn offered us an upgraded room at no extra charge. She was very friendly and keeps the rooms clean and comfortable. The rooms are very sound proof, and is in a great location.

If you stay here be sure to splurge on a room with a jacuzzi becuase it is well worth the extra. Our one night stay was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and relaxing.

A jewel in the heart of Drumheller! We enjoyed a lovely evening of music, drinks, and delicious food, followed by a very comfortable sleep in one of their spacious rooms. The house is graceful and charming, with a ton of character — not unlike its gracious hosts. Thanks, Zeke and Patrice! We’ll be back!

We had a great stay at the Heartwood Manor. We enjoyed our room, our breakfast and time relaxing in the fireplace room. Thank you Patrece and Zeke for all everything you did to make our stay in Drumheller great.

Friendly inn keepers, clean rooms, lots of decks to sit and visit on the lovely grounds, the best high end French toast made fresh every morning for breakfast by the owner himself, good location to downtown, 3 blocks to the nearest pub with great food, and best of all pet friendly! They really love and respect animals here! And will make you and your pet frel at home!

Had a great time in the Vacation Bungalow. Grandparents, parents, 3 kids. The backyard was perfect. The sprinkler was a favorite with the kids, especially in the 30+ degree heat! Air conditioning kept inside cool.

Such amazing service from lovely and gracious staff with loads of local knowledge. We've stayed here twice now, once in the honeymoon cottage and once in the pinewood room. Both rooms had lots of character and were very cosy; a wonderful place to rest your head. Breakfast was also served, Zeke's famous stuffed French toast. Couldn't be happier with our stay.

Loved it here. Zeke and Patrice are wonderful people, the accommodation is first rate and it is right in town yet quiet. They welcomed our dog as well. We stayed in the Chancel which is like a cabin with deck and yard, kitchen and great bathtub. Can't imagine staying anywhere else in Drumheller.

Nice and clean. Loved the private entrance and deck. It's an old house so you can hear the other guests footsteps but all a great place to stay.

The Heartwood is one of our favorite places ever. Patrice is such a thoughtful host, anticipating everything you could ever need and then adding her special extra touches. This is absolutely the only place to stay in Drumheller! We have been here many times and have seen every room over the years and they are all wonderful. This time we were there for a social event. There is lots of space in the main floor big parlour and if you are lucky Zeke will be inspired to work his magic in the kitchen. Highly recommended!

If Zeek or Patrice offer you dinner, get in on it. I stay at hotels all over Alberta for my job and this is by far the best. Just look at the rooms on the website.

Got a free upgrade when we arrived, lovely room (the honeymoon suite), great facilities, very congenial staff.

My partner and I stayed in this lovely, quaint inn for one night. We booked super last minute (morning of) and they were very accommodating. We arrived later in the evening and Zeek was pleasant and welcoming. He took his time explaining all the things and showed us to our room. It was the most adorable and perfect. The inn and room were clean and appealing. Our room had a comfortable bed and a wonderful soaker tub. I would definitely return to Drumheller just to stay at this inn again. Thank you so much for the most wonderful and perfect experience!

Beautiful Inn, friendly staff — highly recommend. Stayed for the first night of our honeymoon and can't wait to go back! Can't praise this facility enough — best decision we made to stay here. You will not regret it!
