This place was great! The rooms were clean and well stocked. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed was comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub one night. While we didn't use the pool slide, we thought it was awesome that they even had one! The kids using it seemed to be having a lot of fun. There was a basic continental breakfast. Nothing fancy, but there was enough food and was continually restocked as more people arrived. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is free popcorn in the lobby throughout the day, and 24/7 free coffee/tea as well. We will definitely stay at a Canalta again!

We stayed in Brooks for one evening and Canalta was the perfect home away from home, expect for our home doesn’t have a pool and amazing water slide! Check in and out was quick and the service was friendly! The room was huge, and well kept and quiet! I appreciated the pillow cases indicated what firmness the pillow was, and the mattress was heavenly! It made getting up so much harder! We enjoyed the pool and water slide before going to Montana’s which Canalta guests get a 10% discount, always nice! Thank you for a great stay!

Its located right at the beginning of the city. Well maintained, friendly staff and spacious rooms. I had a problem with my room fridge but the staff was quick to act on it and fixed it right away.

The room was nice. People were not that friendly. One was the lady at the Breakfast. Named Bernice and a lady named Tina. When asked the others for restaurant suggestions… only offered Montana's and Boston Pizza. Travelled thru the town and spoke to customers and workers at Safeway… not one friendly person. Also, room attendant walked into room. Did not knock loudly and then, blamed me for having no sign on door. Manager gave me a bag and a blanket. Food at breakfast was only good when Bernice was on. Asked evening staff for new iron. Lady sent her son to deliver. Both irons did not work. When asked to replace toilet paper, told to come down and get it. One time the chamber maid (using old term) only took dirty towels and replaced them. The counter for the coffee was not cleaned nor the beds made. Over all,, it was pleasant because there was no scent in the room and I have allergies. I would not return to Brooks due to its lack of friendly people. Also, when asking staff what there was to do. Not much of a reply. I found the phone book for Brooks (yellow Pages) on the floor behind night stand when my pen fell behind the stand… Thank you, Brenda.

The hotel was nice and clean and good beds. Breakfast was acceptable (dry bread, smaller selection that usual for Canalta). Internet was a little slow. However, I asked for a quiet room and received a room that was mostly quiet to hotel noise, but the road noise outside the west side where the Mcdonald's drive through and convenience store is had me awake at 3:45 a. M. Due to vehicle noise.

Room was spotless and bed was comfortable, no lack of pillows and was close to restaurants, Montana s right next door and got 10% of a good steak dinner. This was my first time staying at Canalta and this hotel will be my first choice from now on. And the coffee and breakfast in the morning was a bonus for me. And I am not a schill writing BS reviews, this is real!

Best hotel i've been to. Serving free popcorn a pool with a waterslide and adjustable hottub. Very worth the price 5/5

We had not planned on staying in Brooks, but the weather had other plans for us. The staff was wonderful, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I will stay here/at other Canalta hotels in the future.

Although we only stayed one night. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was cleaner then some of the 4 star hotels I have stayed at. The game room had something for everyone, pool was warm and clean as well as the hot tub. And for the added bonus the waterslide was great. Ill be staying there again and definitely recommend it.

Usually good… but window open and room was freezing cold. The heater would not reset and no kleenex.

Would stay there again and recommend it to others. Rooms are nice and some have a mini kitchen.

Friendly staff and nice renovations done the the hotel. We love to come back to Brooks often and Canalta hotel is the place we love to stay at.

Had a wonderful room with a very very comfortable bed and a huge shower. I really like having access through a rear door. Staff were wonderful. Thanks.

Taught a first aid class for a construction company using the board room. What a nice place. Very friendly and helpful staff!. Organized well facilities.

Stayed 4 nights. Nice hotel, very clean. Staff member Tina stood out as outstanding and very pleasant :) Staff accomodated our request for 5am breakfast.

This place is new, clean and comfortable. The breakfast could be improved but overall a pleasant experience.

Good stay I found the queen size beds to be more comfortable than the king size beds. Front desk service was exceptional. Breakfast was pretty decent and changed a little bit from day today. I would have liked to have seen catch up somewhere on the tables at breakfast time is my only negative thing I can say it all.

Great place for the price. Relatevely new and continenyal bteakfast. Rather simple but still breakfast.

Friendly and courteous staff who have excellent knowledge of the local area and events. The rooms are spacious and clean with plenty of amenities. A well run hotel, I wouldn't hesitate staying with them again on my next visit.

We've ended up staying here a couple of times over the summer. The first time by fluke passing through, the second due to a change in plans a month later. The clerk remembered us and our room preference. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. If we have to stay anywhere in this area it will be here.

I was only at the hotel for a quick over night stop I was very very impressed. Not only was the hotel immaculate but the staff is amazingly friendly & go above and beyond the call of duty. I had the pleasure in coming into contact with Debbie, shes always smiling which makes her very approachable. I forgot my Iphone Charger at home and Debbie allowed me to use her personal one, this floored me cause no one that Ive never met before has offered me to borrow their personal property. Debbie is truly an asset to this company. (if managers are reading this she deserves a raise & promotion) ha ha ha.

Beautiful and clean, modern hotel. Great service, friendly staff and wonderful amenities. The breakfast included was great. Our only complaint was how cold the pool was!

Decent hotel. The breakfast isn't the greatest. Typical hotel free breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub. Good location if you need access to the highway.

I had to come here because I was in town for work for a week. The staff have been very pleasant and the rooms are very nice and modern. Honestly I can't think of 1 thing that wasn't good. The service the room and the continental breakfast they have that is from 6 to I think 8 or 9 and it has all the normal stuff like cereal and muffins and bagels but they also have a mini waffle maker and they have eggs and bacon and sausage and French toast on rotation each morning with two at a time. Overall a very pleasant experience and would recommend it to anyone without a doubt.

Linda was very helpful and kind as I had several questions and requests. I know that the renovations will greatly improve the facility, but really think the fresh popcorn in the pm was relaxing!

What a find! Friendly staff and service and a wonderful hotel. We got the Jacuzzi suite and it's bigger than we thought it would be! A wonderful home away from home for our week in Brooks.

Nice rooms with great beds and a great hot breakfast. Good rates as well and the pool and hot tub are great for any extra time. Same parking lot as the brand new Montana's BBQ & Bar which you get discounted rates at with your hotel stay! Great overall experience.

Very nice and accommodating. The staff were wonderful and they were very good about the cat, very pet friendly. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was great!

Service was very good. Loved the popcorn they provided. The continental breakfast was also one of the better ones that I have had.

We rolled in after a long driving day, we had hoped to drive further but were too tired. Needless to say we didn't have a reservation and took a chance at getting a room. Tina, at front desk, treated us like long lost family, not like valued guests, far beyond! Recognizing we had children, she offered up the pool/ waterslide hours for the morning, gave us the Wi-Fi code for their game habits and gave each of the kids a cookie. The "make your own breakfast" choices were awesome, complete with make it yourself waffles, flavoured cream for coffee and a plethora of fruit and cereals. The room was clean and modern with very comfortable beds that could actually cater to my large carcass along side a floppy kid. We hit the pool and waterslide in the morning thanks to its conveniently early opening time. All this for a very reasonable cost. I never write these things, but this stay definitely deserved a shout out, well done to the staff, keep it up.
