I worked at this lodge for the summer of 2019 and will be returning to the canoe docks this year with the same team. The amount of effort and dedication the team put into ensuring that our guests had a once in a lifetime experience is second to none. I personally have never seen a hotel with higher standards than this place. If you’re looking for a location which you will never forget, you won’t find a better place!

The most beautiful place.

We came up for our honey moon last year and as soon as we said our last name at checkin the staff knew exactly who we were. We were the honeymooners. They took such amazing care of us. We had champagne waiting in our room, free desert, and the staff was so incredibly friendly. It was just such an amazing experience, the views were pretty special, but it was the staff that made the experience so memorable for us. We will definitely be back.

The area is absolutely stunning! So many stunning things to view and take in. However, in the Summer, you can add people the list of all the things to see. It's worth braving the people though, because you'll have a hard time finding any place more beautiful in one eyeshot.

Myself and my husband were lucky enough to stay at the amazing Moraine Lake Lodge as part of our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived we were astonished at the sheer beauty of our surroundings. The soaring snow peaked mountains that surrounded the sapphire blue water was quite literally breath taking and a sight that we will never forget. We were so fortunate to experience canoeing on Moraine Lake under a pure blue sky, an experience that can only be described as pure bliss. The cabin accommodation at Moraine Lake Lodge encompasses everything that is wonderful about the Canadian Rocky Mountains. As we entered our cabin, we were left speechless by the floor to ceiling window that over looked the crystal clear waters of Moraine Lake. Our cabin had a beautiful open fire, a balcony, the most luxurious wooden bed and amazing shower facilities. The hand wrote greeting card that accompanied a bottle of champagne in celebration of our honeymoon, demonstrated the efforts of the lodge in adding a personal touch to our stay. The lodge’s restaurant boasted a glass roof with panoramic views of the lake and as we expected the food and service were beyond exceptional.

Come for the beauty, stay for the food! We stayed for four nights. The food was absolutely delicious. From breakfast to library sandwiches and soup, to evening cookies and coffee and an evening meal — what can I say only WOW! Apart from the food the lake and surroundings were stunning. Accommodation was excellent with extremely friendly staff always willing to advise where needed. I can not recommend Moraine Lake Lodge highly enough!

Best place I have ever stay in. It's all about location. Beautiful lake outside the room with 10 peaks all over 10000 ft high. Stunning, bŕeath taking. Canoes are free to Lodge guests saving €100+ each time. Rooms are relatively small but who cares when u have the view.

Simple, cozy and close to nature. Great restaurant for dinner. Amazing experience to wake up and go to sleep looking at those mountains. Canoeing is surreal, and the hikes are breath-taking.

The accommodations here are cozy with spectacular views. The food is gourmet, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the complementary canoeing for guests is so relaxing. This is a place you will want to return to again and again.

Bucket list stop for my wife and I and it lived up to everything I hoped since I saw a picture of the lake years ago. Really, the lake on its own is enough to get 4 stars, but the friendly service, great food, and complimentary canoe rides for guests make it a 6 star. Unfortunately Google only lets me give 5. Though you will likely see a lot of beautiful glacial lakes of different shapes and sizes if you travel around Banff and Jasper, I personally thought the sunrise at Moraine was the best. Check out as many as you can though and make your own decision. Great views from the rooms.

Location is amazing. The Lake is beautiful. The cabins are nice but lack storage space. The service is all over the place. Seems like they exclusively hire 18-22 year olds on summer working vacations. Whilst they are enthusiastic, they are poorly trained and lack leadership. Some of them have no customer service skills, all of them forget things. Be prepared to ask for things 2 or 3 times whilst watching them deliver the thing you’ve been asking for to the confused looking next table. This is a shame as the chef at dinner is good. We ate 2 good but frustrating meals there. Overall it’s good, but it could be great.

An incredible place. The location, the locals, the food — — all wonderful. Proposed to my fiance here and everyone at the Lodge made it special and did so with a helpful, eager attitude. They were so accommodating and patient with all my questions before arriving. The cabin was charming, cozy, clean, and welcoming. The food at the Lodge was quite tasty and hit the spot. The mountains, Moraine Lake, and even the roads here were all stunning. Already can't wait to come back. Go here and live it.

Moraine Lake is world-famous for its beauty. This lake is a glacially fed lake located outside the beautiful Village of Lake Louise,  Alberta,  Canada. The picturesque lake is at an elevation of 6, 183 feet in Valley of the Ten Peaks. It is part of the Banff National Park. The glacial mountains, lake and the unique blue color of the lake is something amazing to the eye. The combination is known as “Twenty Dollar View”, as Moraine Lake was featured on the reverse side of the 1969 and 1979 issues of the Canadian twenty-dollar bill. The Moraine Lake is a world-famous location for hiking and photography.

One of the most beautiful places in the world! Everything was perfect!

You could not stay at a more elegant, beautiful and peaceful place. Period. The cabins are exquisite, with beautiful fireplaces in each one. The lodge library is incredible and relaxing space. There are no bad views on this entire property. But the most amazing part of this property are the staff members of the lodge. Nowhere are guests treated better, is more time taken, and is more love put into the guest service experience. There are incredible nearby hikes. Even an amazing biking trail. The canoes are a bit pricey, but are included if you’re a guest of the lodge. Can not recommend a place more highly!

The only hotel in the dream of Lianhu, Fairyland General, touching, comfortable and beautiful, guests can enjoy the free dream Lianhu Rafting.

I went with my husband for our anniversary and I absolutely love this place. Their rooms ir super cozy with great views to the lake. Service is truly Canadian. The breakfast and amusement is excellent so as the restaurant for dinner. You get a complimentary canoeing for two when staying at the lodge. I’d come back if it wasn’t pricy.

Don't visit, stay. We had two nights here just at the end of season and enjoyed a cabin and walks and the great dinners and breakfasts. We did a few hikes and managed to borrow Bear spray from reception as there are active Grizzlies in the area.

Simply put, this is THE BEST place I have ever stayed! The cabin itself was just so beautiful and the welcome gift we received was outstanding (we were celebrating our honeymoon and boy did they spoil us). The views of the breathtaking Moraine Lake from the verandah is goosebumps worthy too. The staff on the entire property were so wonderful that is it hard to fault anything they did. Jazz, our hiking guide was exceptional and very knowledgeable, which we appreciated. We dined at the restaurant both nights and the quality of the food was exceptional with zero to fault + the local selection of wine made me happy. The only negative is on our part… we needed to have stayed more than two nights. The lake is just so beautiful and having 24/7 access to it from the luxury of your cabin is worth the price tag in itself. This is definitely my happy place and we will return in the near future (hopefully). Well played Moraine Lake Lodge, you truly made our stay so memorable. Thank-you! PS, we booked the gourmet getaway package which included the king cabin, a three course meal both nights inclusive of tips and I could not recommend this enough. Exceptional value for money given the location, beauty and perfection of the whole experience.

My wife and I got married at Moraine Lake on September 9th. The lodge was perfect, and treated us like celebrities. Despite the rain, everything worked out perfectly. We loved the area and enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly, and the food was amazing. The canoes were really fun and were included with our stay. Most beautiful place in the world!

Was here to shop at the store and get some coffee. Great service. Our checkout was quick. Wish they had a washroom for customers using the store.

So far we are enjoying our stay at Moraine Lodge. Our room is fabulous, has wonderful views of the lake and mountains and is very clean. The staff are extremely efficient and willing to help. Breakfast was wonderful. The downside so far is the fact that the cafe closes so early, meaning if you are not eating in the restaurant you have to buy a snack from the cafe to eat later in your room, or eat very early before the cafe closes. There is nowhere else close by to eat. A lovely peaceful place as there are no TVs and there is no mobile phone signal, however the Wi-Fi is good.

Quaint, charming, simply magic! Our stay was absolute perfection with all the little touches… handwritten note from the attentive staff, firewood, and Woolrich blankets in the perfectly appointed rooms. The dinner menu and overall dining experience was very special and impressive with a young and energetic kitchen and serving crew. We wrapped up our stay with a breathtaking canoe ride. This place does a fantastic job of managing the insane amount of tourists who are eager to witness the beauty of the lake, while mantaining the privacy of those who are staying at the resort. Two days into our 4 day visit. The lodge is georgous… rooms beautiful in an exceptional location. Yes you have to share the scenery with day tourists but it's not a problem… you can't expect to keep this place to yourselves… it has not been intrusive. Staff are very efficient and friendly… food delicious… just as well we are walking it off.

We were there for the canoe. Amazing! It was about $100 for an hour. The food at the shop was of your bag lunch variety. The gift shop was nice but small.

Great place to stay. It has an incredible view. Very friendly staff, and excellent atmosphere. I recommend this for anyone who likes the outdoors but wants a nice cabin to stay at.

A magical and beautiful site. Sick. The view of the stone cluster is spectacular and allows to take great pictures.

The lake was beautiful! The ledge looked great, but we did not have time to visit.

Loved the king cabin. The wood fire was really neat and the view was impeccable. They sent us a free bottle of wine and a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon.

It was honestly okay, very do it yourself kind of place. There's a kitchen for you to cook and plenty of space though so overall the experience was great.

Moraine lake has fantastic view. It will be best if you can manage accommodation in moraine lake lodge. Breathtaking views of mountain and glacier water lake.

Room was pretty big, but the pillows were really spiky. Besides that, my family really enjoyed the night with fast Wi-Fi.

Amazing location, great service.

Moraine Lake, why this place is so popular. The place is crowded, not enough parking. The road is narrow and not wide enough for cars let alone camper busses, mobile home camper busses. People traveling the road think nothing of stopping in the middle of the road to getting out to snap pics. The road side up is used as a parking lot for those that get out for pics, leaving little space to travel. Many of those travellers do not have the skill to drive that road. Many other places in the park less traveled. I would not go back to this place.
