Legends restaurant is awesome great food friendly staff. Have been back and will be as we keep working on hotels here in Lake Louise.

Worst room quality ever stayed, worse than a motel. No AC no air flow in the room. Pillows way too high, bed way too hard. For the price they charge, better find somewhere else. Would give a negative rating if possible.

‏A beautiful and inviting lobby and when you get to the room you discover an old room without basic services. Very hot in the room, no air conditioning. There is nothing wrong with turning on the coffee machine. We turned it on in the bathroom. Our room faced a very beautiful view on one side and on the other a railroad that operated at night ‏ and made a terrible noise. That's why they were ‏ Earplugs by the bed. Very high cost in relation to the value. ‏ There is no place to make the coffee. We do it in the bathroom! ‏ All night the terrible noise of the trains is just a nightmare. The price is very high for the value.

The rooms are very good and suitable for nature, great view of the Rockys, many amenities, good restaurant.

Lovely wooden Lodge type buildings with incredible views. It is family friendly with all amenities in the rooms being perfectly adequate with beds which are very comfortable (as we have found across all places we have stayed in Canada). There is food available in a few restaurants to dine in or bring back to your room.

Hot tub was dirty, staff was rude, it was a nice place stay but not now … stay up by lake Louise at the deer lodge.

BEST PLACE EVER TO HAVE A WEDDING! My brother got married on Feb 12 and this hotel did nothing but host me and my family! to the amazing lounge staff to John the amazing Food and Beverage Manager being helpful every step of the way! Thank you sooo much! The food was to die for and the bar service at the reception soooo friendly and helpful too! AND AND AND all of this amazingness while working around the COVID restrictions! I CANNOT even imagine how it would be possible to top the amazing service we had with this hotel ❤❤❤ Thank you again John and Jordan and Mark and Matt to name a few people who helped us and countless others I cannot remember the names of INCLUDING the very friendly maintenance lady my mom and I kept running into. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lake Louise Inn for any NEEDS or desires you would have!

Hard to believe a hotel in 2021 does not have A/C. Especially for the rates being charged. They hide that detail in the room detail fine print.

My dad and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Keah was lovely and professional at the front desk. Anissa did a great job at keeping the rooms tidy, and my prime rib sliders were delicious. The chef's in the kitchen are knowledgeable and passionate about the food 💯.

Legends restaurant has the best beef dip around. The server Jordan was excellent.

Stayed here in February for two nights. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Restaurant staff were also friendly and very helpful and the food and drinks were very good. Anna with reservations was also extremely helpful and went beyond expectations in helping us book another stay.

BEWARE this hotel is famous for mucking up reservations. We were pre-warned but few hotels in town. Staff is not accommodating. Screwed up our reservation and took no responsibility for it. No on site manager that could help. Left us without a room. Couldn't care less.

Logistical nightmare eating in hotel as unable to book tables in either of the restaurants. And no children after 21:00 in downstairs restaurant… pizza and Pasta was great in Timberwolf unfortunately forgot one meal but gave us free pizza and dessert by way of recovery. Staff friendly and helpful.

Loved the location of this hotel as we had easy access to the two main lakes we wanted to see first thing in the morning. Perfect family suite for us. Food at the restaurants was excellent as was the wait staff. Ace fixed a flipped breaker in our room immediately upon identification of the issue. We also loved their cook out option with a roaring fire and s’mores on Saturday night.

Very nice place friendly staff excellent restaurant and staff.

Setting, reception, staff and restaurants were nice but the room was not. Stayed in building 4, 2 beds in the room. Extremely cramped space, bathroom was not clean, hair on tub ledge that wasn’t ours, cracked floor tiles throughout the bathroom. No functioning fan in bathroom to vent the steam out from the shower. Gap between bathroom door frame and top of door panel. Very disappointing and overpriced. Paid around $400 for the night and saw that room prices dropped $90 within 12 hours from making my reservation. Left feeling somewhat ripped off, expectations not met.

Medium price for the area, but with medium amenities in terms of the hotel. For example, better exersize space, better hotel food than cheaper hotels nearby. The room I was in was super basic though — no kitchen or even a mini fridge, which for 400 a night was a serious let down. I felt pretty gouged, and the hotels staff claim that it is just the area was doubly upsetting — I had 3 other rooms booked at the same time in the area, I know what is typical. Not a bad experience over all though, despite the price.

My friend and I booked a room via an external site, which stated we'd get a standard room with two doubles. Unfortunately, we got upgraded to a suite that had a pull-out cot and a bed. The thermostat also wasn't working but the room was cool enough to sleep in. The room was clean and the amenities in the suite would have been nice to use had we were staying longer than 7 hours. Overall pleasant experience minus the reservation issue.

Nice inn. We stayed in a loft. 2 floors which sleeps 8. Rooms are cozy. Not modern or new. Good bikes for free. Nice heated pool. Breakfast is great. There's a small Starbucks in the lobby and also small gym below lobby.

Staying here right now, regrettably. At $300 + a night you should have 1) a bed that fits two people and 2) a space to set luggage. Not asking for much! Not even asking for A/C (which this hotel doesn't have). This is a very old thin-walled motel from yesteryear but they charge 4* prices and market the property like it isn't a beat up old mess. It's a scam to catch first time tourists. Plain and simple. To the hotel:
Just because you CAN charge people and not maintain a bas…ic level of hospitality, doesn't mean you SHOULD. The people behind the marketing of this hotel should be more honest about its limitations. The people who own it should spend some of the cash raining down on them on making much needed upgrades. Finally, PLEASE stop with the scam where you make people upgrade to get a queen bed. That's not the right thing to do and you should be ashamed. And yes, it's a scam. Staff do seem nice and people are largely trying to make the best of it as there are few alternatives. If you are seeking a nice clean space and you have worked hard to earn your vacation, just do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

Heavy Price — Less Quality! Worst Hotel I've seen for a long time.
The first "double queen-sized room" was so small that we couldn't organize our 3 luggagepieces in. The extra paid Upgraderoom was a little bigger, but looks like the last renovation was 20 years ago. In one bed we found hair of anybody else.
But the Staff is friendly and quick.
So we can say, a bad Hotel in a pretty nice landscape.

It was fine. The service was generally good and the room was clean. We somehow got a free upgrade to the King suite even though we booked the cheapest room possible. That was nice. That said the room had the furniture, decor, and smell of my great aunts very nice assisted living facility. It wasn't bad, in fact it was quite nice but that's how I would describe it. The only legitimate complaint I have was that after our first night (on our first morning) at ~8:30am room service knocked on our door over and over until I finally got out of bed and shooed her away. Checkout is at 11am. To my mind you shouldn't be bothering guests even if they are staying multiple nights until after that time. It might be wise to let your guests sleep considering that is what they are paying for. If I had to do it again I wouldn't spend so much time in Lake Louise. It was probably the most boring part of our trip in the Canadian Rockies. If I did spend I night there I wouldn't mind staying at this Inn again.

Let's get this straight: This hotel is very dated, and the rooms are expensive for what they are, but once you get past that, it is a pretty livable hotel. We stayed in one of the condo-like rooms with a fold down bed (which folds down from the wall and is pretty cool) which also has a kitchenette and a spare bedroom. The beds are fairly comfy, and the rooms have back doors to go out to a backyard-esque area. The pool is nice, but it is a walk to get to from where I stayed. Also, the breakfast is not free, which is too bad, but the lobby is very upscale and must have been renovated recently. There is also yummy lime-water and lemon-water in the lobby, as well as super yummy chocolates/treats. If you are looking for a super modern hotel, this hotel will definitely not suit you well, but if you are looking for a humble, roomy, comfy and feature/amenity packed, this might just be for you. This hotel is a good 15 minutes from Lake Louise, but it is TOTALLY worth the drive. Also has a yummy pizza place on the second floor of the lobby. Worth your time, but it is expensive for what you get, is my initial verdict. Thanks!

English Pub Style Restaurant with a traditional bar where you can eat and a lounge where the main tables are situated. Comfy and warm log fire, the food was pretty good, there is a daily 'Specials' list which was good as well the standard menu. Drinks were pretty well priced no more or less than expected. Most people seem to eat earlier here in Canada so don't leave it to late to eat as you will have a wait.

The staff are very accommodating. They reacted lightning fast to all of our needs and requests. The bus to the LL Ski Resort stop at the main building. Nice rooms. We used the room's kitchen, so I can't comment on the inn's restaurant. Very happy with the special care that was given.

Do not misunderstand, it is still acceptable, but to be in such a beautiful environment and location, it's luster definitely need a polish which took away from the experience. Overall, a tug-of-war between 3 & 4 stars, the winner is evident.

My experience here was great. The staff there are absolutely amazing and the location is great. They found out that we were on our honeymoon and upgraded us to a suite from the room that we had booked. It was the down season, so I don’t think that is something they do typically. They have good eating options right there at the inn and the main Building has a great design. When we first got in the suite the ac wasn’t quite working properly. They had a guy over in 3 minutes to fix it, so that was AMAZING service. The suite was very spacious and clean. The whole experience was great overall. If you are on a ground level room and leave your curtains open as you eat breakfast, you may even get free entertainment from the local wildlife.

Bathroom was a dungeon, but otherwise decent room. Great swimming/hot tub area with three large tubs. Really nice lobby area. Incredibly close to the mountain.

Modern place. Some thirty years ago. Desperately needs some upgrades. Correct service, nice location. However, room/suite rates do not reflect the level of expectation. In England, France, Germany etc. One exactly knows what they will get for so many dollars spent. Apparently not in Alberta.

Really great service! Room was spacious and a close walk to the strip mall. Shuttle bus from the hotel to the hill comes every half hour, and it's super close. Went on the last weekend of the ice sculptures, so it was quite busy and couldn't get the proper room we needed, so I ended up sleeping on the futon. Futon was what you would expect from a futon, but I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was spectacular, gorgeous, clean, and amazing staff. My only complaints were the bed was SO uncomfortable, and the shower sucked. I can live with that. The loft like rooms were great for my coworkers, and my family fit well into the hotel style rooms. I spent time in the lobby (hanging out) and the pool, and were happy with both. I would definitely come back when I'm in Lake Louise again.

Beautiful area and views. Fairly decent room prices. Rooms we’re spacious but cold despite the heaters on high (possibly harder to heat because our room had high ceilings). Our party hated the parking situation or lack thereof. Seemed like people we’re just parking anywhere and taking up a lot of space due to the toy haulers and RVs. Complained about it but not much could be done so it was like first come first serve parking so just a heads up. Restaurant in the main building up the stairs was good with friendly staff but not enough tables.

Inconsistent service, dirty. Poorly maintained equipment in lofts. Lovely setting though. The actual facilities seem good but the lack of attention to detail and poor client experience stand out. Toilets, showers, kitchen were clean. Carpets, couch, light switches were filthy. Taps, dishwasher, even paper towel holder all needed TLC. Previous guests water bottle was still on the ground behind night stand. Pool change rooms were frightful. This could have been such a lovely experience if the service was more consistent. Had I not stayed here previously, I would have rated 2 stars.

Amenities are great but rooms are small and 'mountain view' may mean 'parking lot view with a mountain if you crane your neck'. Excellent location to downhill, xc, and chalet. Bar is the best value of the 3 restaurants on site. Hostel across the street also make a tasty meal.

We had a really great stay. The standard rooms are a little small but very clean, in good shape, and the beds were very comfy. Bathrooms are a decent size. TV, coffee maker, and a small desk are available in the standard room. Location is good, close to the ski hill. Pool and hot tub were great — very clean, pool was warm and the hot tub was nice and hot. Restaurants were decent — would definitely recommend the Saturday gazebo BBQ. The staff really made the experience — friendly, accommodating, and they really remembered us and our preferences which is nice. Overall a great experience.

Great place to stay! And +1 to the restaurants onsite. Super convenient! The inn has events over the weekend, which makes the early sunsets worth something to look forward to. The hot tub is a win win after a long day in the snow! There's also a shuttle that takes you to the ski resort, saving you a huge headache from parking. Great stay and value for money.

Fourth time we've stayed here since 2001. It's our go-to place in Lake Louise. The rooms are spacious and sparkling clean. We've always had a balcony overlooking the mountains and a fireplace. Restaurant is excellent and all service has never failed to be outstanding. Well worth the price. Don't look further for a place to stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rustic beauty! Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location near the village. Beautiful views. Room was a little outdated but clean & comfortable. Enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed it.

Nice hotel, however it lacks air conditioning and with the recent nearby fires, we couldn't really open with dowsing to cool off the room. Restaurant was good and the property was well kept and neat. A little pricey.

We booked a room for 7, everything was pretty good except for the pullout sofa bed. It was really small, flimsy and there is not a lot of padding. It was also lobsided like one end is higher. Other than that, room was clean, with kitchen and dishwasher, convenient location.

Everyone has been great. We went to the Italian restaurant on site (one of three restaurants on site) and were very happy with the food and the service. The rooms are dated, have no A/C (they do have oscillating fans though — for what it's worth), and lack storage, but are clean and functional. I could be convinced to stay here again. Though it is not flashy and lacks some features that I'd consider standard, it is much cheaper than other options in the Lake Louise area.

The suite we had contained 2 bedrooms and had a fold out couch offering plenty of room for our family stop. We were on the ground floor of Block 4 with a small veranda attached which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean with comfy beds and the usual amenities making our short stay enjoyable. Parking outside the room was easy and free. The main hotel block containing the pool and restaurants was only a few minutes walk away. We used the pool every evening and it's late closing time meant we had enough time to enjoy both it and the hot tubs. We ate in the Italian Restaurant both nights and apart from the strange way of waiting in a queue on the stairs for a table to become available we had great food from friendly staff and would recommend eating here, Pizza's are great. Previously we've stayed in a much worse room here so the experience is definitely based upon which block you end up staying in, this time we were lucky with the larger room requirements. We walked from the hotel up to Lake Louise along the lovely woodland trail, it's probably only about an hour walk although we had a pushchair with us so took about 1.5 hours. I'd recommend though especially in the busy Summer season. Really enjoyed our visit here and would recommend as a great base for exploring the wonderful area.

Impeccable Service, the rooms of building 2 are comfortable although the decoration and landscaping are not very recent. Building without elevator, but personal who proposes to help. Breakfast at the buffet very varied and very good.

The staff and location was great, walking distance to the village, very clean. Our bathroom was incredibly small, had to walk sideways around the toilet to use the counter and mirror, no fridge, limited food choices, expensive room, expensive food and when I asked for grape jelly for my toast the staff had no idea what grape jelly was…

The location is really good. It has a restaurant and lounge which is open till 11 in night. Breakfast was also very good. We had complimentary breakfast buffet included with the room and it was nice Continental breakfast. It is very close to lake Louise village where all the shops are. Giving it 3 because of the small room, expected at bigger room for the price.

Called in advance to ask three rooms to be together since we have three families and kids like to play together. The staff answered phone said every thing is good. But when we arrive, we were told they can not do it. Very frustrated. But every thing else looks good.

This is a motel that is only worth about $60 per night if it were outside of banff national park. Room is dated and stuffy, bathroom grout is dirty and shower curtain smells. Mattress springs were broken so bed sunk in the middle. Thin walls.

Room was nice. Bed wasn't comfy, nor were the pillows. Restaurants were ok. Too pricy for what you get.

Price is wrong. Although friendly housekeeping staff very intrusive on the day of departure already at 9:00. Room and bathroom need of a renovation. Only the beds were good.

Positives: Friendly staff, good service. Room was nice and clean. Negatives: Too expensive. Pool closes way too early, which makes it kind of useless if you want to soak in the hot tub after being out hiking all day. Pillows on the bed were very thick, which I found uncomfortable and made it hard for me to sleep. Walls didn't keep the sounds of other guests out very well. The shower head in our room didn't spray quite right, and the TV seemed to have some minor screen quality issues. Overall, it wasn't a bad place to stay, but it was definitely over priced… I probably wouldn't go back again for the price we paid.

Rustic Hotel just a few minutes from Lake Louise Ski resort. The room was clean, the hot tub and pool were great — I just wish they stayed open later. The bar in the basement was great! A good ski and stay package.

The rooms were clean and cosy. We were in building four, which was a three level building with no elevator, but they assisted with luggage if needed. In the main building was a great pool and spa area as well as two restaurants. The timberwlolf pasta and pizza bar was delicious.

First time staying at the Lake Louise Inn our room buzzed with late night music. When I complained tof the front desk I was told "it's dance night". This time staying at the LLI we ended up in a room where the air handling unit sounded like it was going to come through the ceiling. (#5115). Turns out this room is an accessible room. No counter in the bathroom. We also had to hook up all the electronics in the room trying to figure out why our TV didn't work. This place is like the Motel 6 of Lake Louise. Their rates don't match this analogy.

Room was nice and comfy. Lake Louise is a very beautiful town and has great snowboarding.

The rooms were clean. For a family would suggest the loft room. Tried to order takeout from the Italian restaurant but the would not answer the phone. We ended up ordering from down the street.

Rooms are fairly simple. Timberwolf restaurant is good for pizza. Expect a 2.5 star hotel and you won't be disappointed.

Nice room, roomy and well maintained.

Good place, as its close to the hill and has large family suites. Downfall is the maintenance is extremely behind, our fireplace didn't work unless you hit it over and over (was suggested by the maintenance man) and the walls were peeling and the kitchens were lacking with amenities. The suites were very cold as the draft from the balcony took over and the heat was sub par. Beds could use duvets instead of cheap thin blankets as the heat is so bad.

Door to room did not close upon first arrival, but was fixed within 15 minutes of calling desk. Motel style rooms for this much cash is a little disappointing.

Condo rooms are small but have plenty of beds. It's clean and warm. However the interior could use an update and the walls are quite thin, so it's very easy to hear your neighbors if they are being even a bit noisy.

This is a lousy place with ill-mannered and incompetent people at the front desk. The check in experience was very poor. They allow large buses to occupy the parking lot and make other customers in cars wait a long time behind the buses. The manager is a racist scumbag.

I would not recommend Lake Louise Inn to anyone with any sort of dietary restrictions as their restaurants won't accommodate your needs in any way. Unless they read this review & change their policies. But before I get into that. My room was unremarkable. The washroom was alright, though the tub had hair left in it, but thankfully there were plastic & paper cups that were put in the rooms probably due to the recent News reports on the gross negligence of cleanliness over reusable cups in many major hotels. The beds in my room were two doubles that were moderately comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly at the very least. Now here was my biggest problem, aside from paying almost $200 a night at a discounted rate due to staying there as part of a wedding party, for a mediocre room. My problem came with their restaurant staff. I had arrived late that evening & after having a shower missed the meal times in their pub. That was alright as I had a few snacks from my travels, I would go there for breakfast the following morning before going to the wedding I was going to… so I thought anyway. I went to their breakfast buffet that wasn't very good. My Boyfriend made his own waffle from liquid to cooked in a waffle iron, I guess they think that's an experience, had some shredded hash browns & coffee that cost him about $20. He said it wasn't even that good.

Hotel rooms are old and smell a bit like mildew. There's also no air conditioning in any of the hotel rooms. Their solution? Open the windows and turn on a fan. Stay somewhere else. This place is awful.

Just amazing! I live in a eight-person room in 3201. It is so large and have all the things you need for cooking (excluding sources). Two washrooms and a double bed in the dinning room. Sadly, there was a power outage. However, everything is great.

Dishonest staff, very unhappy experience. I booked 2 rooms for June28, 2014 through by agency (hoteltravel) and paid full amount. Due to family emergency reason, I can’t go there. Since non — refund, non — reschedule policy, I called travel agency and transferred it to my friends. However, here’s the story : when my friends (two people) got there with confirmation letter (two rooms under my friend’s name). Front desk staff told my friends, if they’d like, they can reschedule one room to other date, friends called me and I was happy to hear that it’s okay to reschedule one room, and told friends any weekend of August will be great. Then friends checked with the front desk staff, she checked the data and confirmed one room rescheduled to Aug 16, and my friends only check-in on room then. And she said there’s no confirmation number and she will send out the email to me directly. One week later (July 06), I didn’t get any confirmation letter yet, so I called Lake Louise inn to confirm my Aug 16 room, and was surprised to hear that no any such reservation. And they said will let the reservation manager know it and give me update. No surprise, didn’t get any call or voice message from them, I called back on July 09, finally spoke to their reservation manager, she said she checked with the front desk staff who handled the check-in on that day, the staff said she didn’t say such thing like reschedule one room to my friends.

First off. The front desk was very helpful and friendly but besides that paying 250 a night for a king sized bed and a tiny room I felt completely ripped off. I went to the hotel thinking that if im paying 250 for a room its going to be nice. It was medeocre at best. Then we went out for dinner at the in hotel resteraunt. The service was absolute garbage and we ordered a lasagna which cost 18 dollars but was clearly not fresh. So again extremely over priced for what it was. The night sleep was good. No complaints there. So we wake up and want breakfast which the complentary breakfast was not included in the 250 I paid for the night in this place. I had to pay 14 dollars per person to eat bread, fruit, and cereal. Oh did I mention the coffee was an add on on top of the 14 dollars. I will defenitly not be returning to this rip off of a hotel and I hope they wise up and maybe accept that if they are going to charge insane prices, maybe give a little to your guests when they do.

After booking I thought to check the reviews and was horrified to find such bad comments. So of course it was too late to cancel and make other arrangements so we went as planned with our fingers crossed. Am I ever glad I didn't listen to these reviews. The room (a deluxe king suite) was in perfect condition, clean, and fully stocked with all the dishes we needed. The views were good and even though the parking lot was under renovation we were never bothered with any noise. In the evening, my family and I dined at the Timberwolf restaurant and experienced top quality food and good service. All of this made for a very enjoyable experience considering it was our engagement weekend. Thumbs up for the staff and the Lake Louise Inn.

What started out as a rocky start has ended up as the best resort stay of our 21 day trip. Thanks to Manager, Rahul who took care of us when the first room we stayed in had a very uncomfortable bed. He took care of the problem and made our stay in Lake Louise a pleasant stay. Mr. Rahul knows good customer service and is an asset to the Lake Louise Inn property.
