When people ask what I think about Kings University I cannot help but rant and rave about my experience. I began going to Kings in 2012 and most of the professors still remember me and wave in the halls. Being a smaller University you are really able to get to know the professors and the other students in your classes. Having smaller classes allows for a better learning experience as you are able to do more hands on learning and have more interaction with your classmates and the professor. The staff really care about you as a person and many professors take a personal interest in your story and life, which is next to unheard of in University. After going through some personal problems, a few of the professors were aware of my situation and offered to meet with me for coffee or talk if I needed, it was nice to know that they cared. There are many of opportunities to get involved in the community of Kings as well, they have everything from commuter pancake breakfasts to peer support groups. However, it is what you make of it, you have to put the effort in and get involved. The facilities are nice, the best part is that it is not too big so it is super easy to get around to your classes. You also get a locker free of charge which is really nice (they are big lockers too! ). Parking is also free, which is HUGE! The cafeteria is pretty standard I would say, they have lots of variety though and the staff are friendly. Overall, I have had an amazing experience at Kings and recommend it to people looking for a University with a great community and quality education.
