Front desk staff is very rude, very noisy and not very clean, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We recently stayed at the Sandman in Edmonton for our second time while traveling home from the mountains. Staff is always very polite. We travel with our dogs so we get a pet friendly room. My only complaint is being on the 3rd floor having to haul up all of our luggage was a hassle.

Staff go above and beyond! Rooms are beautiful, beds are soooo comfortable, pillows are fantastic, so clean! This is our 3 rd time staying and recommends this hotel to stay while in Edmonton! Thanks Sandman Signature!

Home away from home, great customer service, warm and friendly atmosphere, suites with washers and dryers, two onsite restaurants, perfect location. Sales department is awesome!

Great staff and I loved that our room had a nice love seat, chair and awesome tray coffee table to relax and enjoy our Sisters night away from home. WITHOUT KIDS for a change.

I did not stay overnight but attended a work event. I have no complaints other than maybe comfier chairs in the meeting rooms. 2 full days on the chairs were rough but staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here in July and had a horrible experience. The general manager was quick to address my complaints. He offered a complimentary night to make up for our stay. We stayed there September 8th anf I must say it was 1000 times better. Room was clean, stocked and staff was very nice. It is nice to see a Manager who takes pride in his business. Thank you Steven for being a great host. We will be back.

Very nice hotel, very clean and quiet, exceptional staff, the best pet friendly room we've ever had. Denny's attached also top notch with fabulous wait staff. Highly recommend.

This hotel has everything you could possibly want… Great gym. Choice if two restaurants. Easy to access. Close to the airport and the amazing new outlet mall. I gave no Co. Plants whatsoever!

The hotel itself is the best Edmonton has to offer. I have been here a lot and not once disappointed. The Denny’s restaurant up to last night was good. It seems if you are a single eater they alway place you in the small booths. They suck. You are either shoulder to shoulder with someone you don’t know or you are looking at them. Last night there was only 7 people in the restaurant and they sat me across from another man. During the meal he cough And I received it on my forehead. This am I can for breakfast and I am writing this as. I am eating. I asked not to sit in them and the waitress was not impressed so she sat me in the long table at the back and within 2 min she sat someone in the next table to me. There are 11 empty tables on this side and the other side is completely empty. So in conclusion hotel very good. Chop restaurant very very good. Denny’s average and if you are a single business guy like myself poor go elsewhere.

Was lucky enough to get a room same day a very nice hotel on the south side of Edmonton. Room was modern and clean. On amenities were good. We also got a promotion that includes $20 towards breakfast at the Denny's on site and it was also good.

I really like this hotel. The rooms are nice, big and clean. The location is very convenient for getting anywhere you need to be. The price is suprisingly low for how nice it is. Overall l loved staying here.

Rooms are very nice and staff is friendly. If you're willing to walk for a bit, there are shops and restaurants down then road. If not, a few options are still available near the hotel.

Poor customer service. No complimentary water in the room or breakfast. Outdated shower. For what you pay you would be much better off staying in other hotels.

Friendly staff and courteous service with a decent lounge and ammenities. Rooms were clean and neat. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of outlet plugs and the number of them that were occupied by lights or other things that didn't need to be there.

First time staying at this hotel. Will not stay there again! They gave us a little shitty room and the bed was hard as a rock. Not the room we asked for! To top it all off at 8 pm we got a noise disturbance call because I was laughing too loud. Good job we are not party animals and coming and going late at night!

A nice, new, clean hotel on the south side of Edmonton. Easily accessible from the Anthony Henday freeway. Great guest amenities and attentive staff. This structure has two restaurants attached — Denny's and Chop — both available to guests without having to step outside. The latter restaurant has both a restaurant section and sports lounge. Companies wishing to hold conferences there will find spacious rooms for that purpose on the main level. Catered meals for conference participants are well prepared. The exercise room is well equipped, and the swimming pool popular for guests with kids.

Sandman is always awesome. I went in to eat at the Denny's restaurant as I always do when I get to a Sandman. This time it was right at lunch. It was super busy. The server came by after dealing with a ton of other diners. She was super apologetic and amazing. I understood exactly why it took so long and voiced this to her. She was super pleasant and made some good jokes. It was a great meal. Atvtge end of it all she made sure that my meal was covered. I did not expect that at all. It was a great experience and I will go back every time that I stay at the hotel.

Great hotel. Awesome location just outside of Edmonton. Easy access to everything in Edmonton. We stayed in the King jacuzzi suite. Great room. Very spacious and very good lay out. Wonderful service. No complaints whatsoever.

Upgraded to a King size suite for only 10.00 per night. Clean rooms but poor channel selection for a Sandman Signature Hotel. Television in bedroom and living room only 32”. Spacious suite king size bed with pillow top mattress and premium linens with separate living room and kitchen with all of utensils (pots, plates & glassware you would need. Included 2 comfy bathrobes. Nice pool, hot tub and fitness facility. Serve Starbucks coffees until 11:30 every morning and a great selection of Tazo teas.
Housekeeping so so.
All in all a good experience at a reasonable price.

Gorgeous hotel, gorgeous room, just be prepared for a hassle if you're booking the "Stay, Fly, and Park" rate. Included with your stay is the room, 7 nights of parking, and a "complimentary shuttle or taxi" to and from the airport. You're on the shuttle they use for transporting air crews which is fine, but no staff knew that the package existed or that it was supposed to include parking or the shuttle. We were able to speak in person upon booking in and had a reasonably easy morning getting to the airport. Trying to get back to the hotel was a different story. After calling to the front desk staff and having to explain the package and what it should include we were told to wait for the next shuttle. However, when it arrived the driver refused to pick us up as it was supposed to be for crew only and he hadn't been informed we'd be joining. We're now waiting for the next shuttle driver to hopefully allow us on. Otherwise it seems we're faced with a $30-$50 taxi ride. Gorgeous hotel, and a very reasonable rate, but we definitely won't be staying here before / after a flight out and relying on the shuttle package again.

What a classy place, you can feel the elegance of the place as soon as you enter the lobby. Add to that the courtesy and the friendliness of the staff is amazing. Everything you might need for your stay is available in your suite, you can even make your own food although you don't want to miss their Chop restaurant. Amazing stay. Thank you.

Stayed for a week; felt like home. Front desk was quick with every request. Two restaurants, one high end; one family oriented. Enjoy your stay!

There was constant noise throughout the night. The fan in the room kept buzzing, I could hear the alarm from the room next to me go off, and I could hear footsteps in the hallway. Most of all though, I left something behind after I checked out and left a detailed message with housekeeping (no one picked up the phone when I called twice) including how to call me back and no one ever did reach out to me.

Food was good with a decent selection. The room we booked was in a strange location but had a good view and a good size considering the amount of people we had. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the night.

Stayed for 2 nights. The room was great and high quality prime rib from the Chop. Kind of sick of Dennys since they seem to be more focused on gimmicks than quality food recent years. Other places are within walking distance though for more casual fare. Lots of stores nearby too.

I travel to this hotel frequently and always leave happy. Rooms are clean and quiet, parking is good and the attached restaurants are great. King suites offer all amenities of home and members lounge is great.

We were only at the hotel for a short time, but my initial impression is mostly positive. Rooms were quite nice. As petty as it sounds, the elevators did t seem to work all that well (required a key, but the reader was inconsistent at best). There are two restaurants on site, a steak house and a Denny's. We went to neither. The location seems pretty cwbtral, though I admittedly know very little about Edmonton and where it's landmarks are relative to one another. Overall, I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms. You can always count on sandmans, it's not overpriced, but you're gonna get quality and clean rooms. Good food options as well.

The air conditioning unit was constantly turning off and on throughout the night and was very loud. This also meant that the room didn't get comfortably cold enough for a sound sleep. The pool and hot tub were nice even if weirdly located next to the restaurant. The food was delicious even though they were out of green tea both days. The room was clean and organized well.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Check in was quick and the staff is very friendly. The fitness centre has decent equipment and is clean. The reason I took off a star is because we could hear vacuuming in the next room at 7 am.

Spent the weekend here and the room I was in was cozy. Aircon was great. Water and lighting was perfect. I needed extra sheets early in the morning and front desk responded quickly. Stayed for 3 nights and 2 days. Will definitely go back.

I came to Edmonton for business. As a busy speaker, I'm always bouncing around in different hotels around the world. This was a peculiar experience, everything I anticipated and more. Room is gorgeous, amenities are amazing, staff was awesome! Thank you Sandman I will be back.

Friendly accomodating staff, nice rooms. Stayed there for an extended period while moving, and we had our two dogs. The staff was really understanding with us and them. Rooms are a little on the smallish side, and the TV is basic cable (meh). The Chop restaurant was really good, they don't do room service but you can pick up. The Dennys has a below average staff but they'll do room service and they're pretty quick. The pool is tiny. I'd stay here again.

Great hotel, good location. Nice and updated, excellent service. Lots of things withing walking distance and the attached steakhouse is a great place to eat.

Starbucks coffee was nice. Good rooms (bit loud from hallway noise). Denny's was great to be attached to.

We haven't stayed at this hotel but we tried going to the new Denny's. When we walked in it was noticably busy. However we stood at the door (away from the lineup to pay) for about 10-15 minutes before we were seated at a table that was right beside the door. Quite a few waitresses walked past and no one acknowledged us. We sat there for another 20 minutes and no one even came to take our drink order, or even to tell us that someone would be with us right away. My fiancé and I had to leave as we decided it would most likely be another 45 minutes before we even got to eat. I understand that it was busy, but to be seated and have absolutely no one acknowledge that we were there, especially because we weren't even seated in a back corner but in a high traffic area, is not good customer service.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and quiet and the staff is friendly. Having 2 different restaurants downstairs is nice as one is bound to have something to satisfy what you're craving.

Tonight is our last night at the Signature Sandman in Edmonton South. We wanted to show our thanks for everything this hotel has done for us and other evacuees during the terrible tragedy we are all going through. I did attend a professional event, but also stayed one night in the hotel. The hotel was very clean and the room was very spacious.

Really nice spot. It's a cab ride away into downtown but the hotel is very nice.

Always excellent! Very clean, got a free room upgrade upon check in. The staff are very pleasant. We had to leave extremely early and the attached Denny's was open and ready to serve hot breakfast.

There were doors and windows for every room. The toilets had water in them that looked clean enough to drink. There was always a staff member in the building and they accepted my money.

Great stay at the Edmonton south sandman rooms look great comfortable beds. Clean rooms.

Location is great, however no options for breakfast now Rockford closed. Also rooms in main floor hallway (between pool and reception) are noisy & room had hair in bathtub.

My one complaint is that the pillows are so high you feel like you're sitting upright when you sleep otherwise it's very agreeable.

Modern place, but the housekeeping could be better. It wasn't the cleanest place.

Just finished a 5 night stay at Sandman Signature South Edmonton and highly recommend this hotel! Staff was fantastic, very accommodating, pleasant and helpful! Very clean and great location. Definitely will return.

Just checked out yesterday August 23rd. The hotel is fairly new and the rooms were clean but walls seem to be paper thin. Water was luke warm for my showers which took place at approximately 0830 to 0900 every morning. It was HOT during the evening and overnight so obviously cannot handle the early morning load. All we heard was banging and thumping from early morning to late evening (not sure if it was maintenance or the housekeepers or possibly other guests). Had a power failure that morning that lasted a couple of hours. No back-up power for lights, clocks or smoke detectors (is this legal? ) Seems a lot of people were upset at the fact that their clocks' wake-up function failed. Witnessed many people wandering the parking lot wondering what had happened. Possibly a note slipped under the door of all the rooms may have helped guests understand what the situation was. Our hallway was pitch black. How can one read the emergency exit instructions or EXIT sign if not lit up? Managed to find one EXIT but did not lead to the Ground floor. Several guests walking around with their cell phone lights trying to find exits. Finally found myself at another exit but ended up at the rear of the hotel and couldn't get back in so had to walk around to the front to the lobby in slippers. Sorry but will stay elsewhere next time.

Dont come to this place they rape you off worse service and room shity small and price is high they mess with you in price.

We had a business meeting there. Cookies and refreshments were not fresh, we called them 3 times and informed them about this. We are not going again for our team or company events, and not recommended for corporate events.

Overall Good, nice hotel the rooms are basic but nice details. Nice lobby. No contenetial breakfast tho. Staff are friendly. Basic pool hot tub. The restaurants attached are good, but higher prices, and small meal sizes.

My hubby and I have been staying at this hotel for three days and we have another day to go. We got a pet friendly room as we brought our pup with us. While my hubby was at a seminar on the third level for work. I relax in the room with the pup since it is too cold to wander outside for walks. I put the. " Please Do No Disturb" sign on our door and all of a sudden we get the phamplet that says they have to check the room every 24 hrs for safety and etc. I completely understand. So we headed up to the front desk and advised them we would be stepping out of the room for a half hour with the pup and that we just need a quick cleaning, replenishment of clean towels and garbage taken out. The desk clerk assured us that he would get someone and we came back and the room was not cleaned. I was in the middle of going to the bathroom when I heard someone opening the door! It was the cleaner and he did'nt even knock first! He surveyed the room and gave us towels and took the garbage out. Yes, nothing illegal going on. Just a couple and their pup on a business trip. Twelve hours later, another phamplet is put under the door. I was just taking my pup out so I informed the lady that our room has been checked and that I keep the sign up because we have a dog in the room. The front desk clerk informed us that the cleaners can not clean the room should an animal be in it.

Stayed for a business trip and overall hotel is very appealing, nice rooms and great location. But there is no breakfast offered and has the worst Wi-Fi ever. For the price per night, you would think these basic things would be available. You can easily get a cheaper hotel that offer a ton more.
