Really nice hotel! Loved it!

Had a great night and very close to the airport and has a shuttle too. Price was awesome and room was very clean.

This place is so clean. The staff is incredibly friendly, accommodating and polite. Only 5 minutes from the airport terminals and has a great little breakfast. There is a pool, a Jacuzzi and a gym, also. I highly recommend it.

Very clean and beautiful. Exactly what a person would like in a place to stay.

We arrived about an hour prior to our check-in and although the individual at the front desk was accommodating and provided us with a room early, he also gave us attitude for booking a pet friendly room as well wasn't impressed that we had actually brought our small dog. Our 6 year old son was super excited all day to go on our vacation and stop in Calgary to go swimming. When we went down to jump in the pool, we saw that the hot tub was out of order — — looked like someone had peed in it. We went over to the pool to find that it was ice cold and murky with chemicals and our son was heart broken. We approached the front desk and received a rude remark that pool standards are between 25-30 degrees and that they would check on it. The pool is nowhere near 25 degrees and now have to console our son because he is so upset. We are booked back here in a week on our way back from vacation and will look to cancel and book elsewhere.

Just loved the hotel. After a long drive the property was a blessing. Tea and Coffee served 24 hrs of the day in the lobby area and it's complimentary.

Family friendly, large fitness area. Pool was a little cold but clean… rooms are clean and spacious with barn style doors in bathroom. Pretty neat. Water for shower had lots of pressure and heated quick. This location was very pet friendly… almost too much. Saw lots of dogs staying on the weekend we stayed. Great if you are into that… not so much if you have allergies. Didn’t notice my allergies much unless I actually came in contact with a dog. Not much for food choices around but it’s a new area and lots of development around. Skip the dishes is your friend.

Stayed for two nights during a family vacation to visit the area. I cannot say anything bad about this hotel, they exceeded my expectations and I will definitely stay there again. The rooms were kept nicely, very good nightly rate, easy to book, and lots of space in the room (2 adults 2 kids). The pool temperature was a bit cool, but the hot tub made up for it. The breakfast buffet was well stocked, and had staff making sure that everything was filled. The part that impressed me the most was how they resolved an issue that came up. I booked online for two rooms, one for us and one for my in-laws. When I checked in, they only found one room so they added another on for me. I later found out that it was booked under my in-laws names, and I was charged a cancellation fee. I spoke to the front desk about it, and they immediately corrected the issue and put through a refund for me. No problems, showed up on my credit card shortly after. Excellent service from the staff, and I will definitely recommend staying here.

I really wanted a cot as we have 3 children and they refused, which I guess is fine but my main issue is that the manager was so rude about it — suggested I book an additional room for the oldest to stay in alone without a single smile or “I’m sorry”. I said no thank you and walked away from the desk and he could just care less.
Nice and clean but service and location sucks — unless you are using only for the airport…

The hotel is very close to the Calgary airport. Good services, Very Friendly staff, Clean room and comfortable. Many thankssss to the staff who dropped me at the airport in the morning and helped me carry the luggages. He was nice! ;)

Will definitely be staying here again! Lovely staff! Never had better service at a hotel. Our shuttle driver was especially kind and allowed us to eat breakfast before we left even though it wouldn’t start for another hour after we left.

The hotel is pretty close to the airport and getting there for our fight was a breeze. They offer a free airport shuttle as well. The room was clean and bright, and it was obvious that the hotel was pretty new. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. If we're ever back in Calgary, we would definitely consider staying again.

Service is really nice. Staff are friendly. Great shuttle service and free breakfast is plentiful. The staff are knowledgeable about things to do, places to eat, etc. Rooms are clean and the beds are super comfy. Other hotels offer Late checkout at one. Wingate's latest is noon. Would definitely stay again.

The Wingate by Wyndham Calgary Airport Hotel is very close to the airport which was perfect for our needs. It is not in an area where you will find a lot of places to shop or eat. It's more in an area of warehouses and new construction in a. Place that appears to be just now being developed. But it is only 3 years old and is lovely, modern and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. They have a washer and dryer available at no charge on the second floor and they will sell you the soap products needed at the front desk. I found the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I needed a copy of the receipt and they were happy to take care of that for me. Coffee is available 24 hours a day which was very valuable when we had to leave for the airport at the awful Hour 3 a. M.

Real good service. Breakfast was warm and delicious. Nice room temperature control. Shuttle drivers were real gentlemen.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel this past weekend. Very clean rooms with a super comfy bed! Breakfast was delicious as well and best of all: it was hot! They had a lot to choose from including sausages, eggs, bagels, waffles, pancakes and cereal so it was awesome. The location I found to be a little out of the way even though it's right across the airport but the bulk of our trip was spent all around Calgary so that probably contributed to the somewhat inconvenient location for us. All in all a wonderful experience and will definitely consider staying here again!

The best sleep I've ever had in a hotel. Beds are spacious, comfortable, and the rooms are very nice. Hot breakfast is served in the morning, with many options for food. The apple juice is a little bit on the sweeter side, but everything else was fantastic.

Excellent front-desk service, rooms are just as expected for a 3-star. The complimentary breakfast is really great. It's a 10/10 for me.

This is seriously one of the best airport hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms were spacious, modern and very accommodating. You get high quality sleep as well as a nice breakfast for a very reasonable price.

It was overall a good experiance for our One night stay. Rooms were clean and updated. The prices were very exceptional. Has a fairly decent pool, hot tub, and workout area. As well as a decent continetal breakfast. A little miscommunication in staff as to what room we had requested. But overall I recommend!

Rooms were perfect and new. Free laundry and dryer usage at your own time. Simply loving it! Friendly staffs and there were good spread of breakfast. A good place to stay BUT only for airport transit.

Nice modern hotel. Not much in the area except the airport so be aware before you book. I stayed at both the Wingate and Wyndham Garden YYC and if you are deciding between the two the differences are small. Rooms are basically the same except with a slightly more modern bathroom at Wyndham Garden. Free breakfast at the Wingate is a nice perk. Pretty standard hotel breakfast with pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, muffins, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at either hotel again.

We arrived on a late flight into Calgary and decided to book a one night stay at the Wingate by Wyndham. We called the front desk upon arrival and the shuttle then collected us from Door 4, Gate 16 at the airport. It was a quick, 10 or so minute drive to the hotel. I was impressed with the quality of the room with its 2 queen beds, desk, and ample bathroom space. The free breakfast the next morning was the standard fruit/cereal/toast/muffins and eggs and sausage. I'd stay here for an airport overnight again.

We stayed here because we had an early flight out and were nicely surprised and the new modern decor in the room. The room was a standard King and very spacious with a big bathroom and walk on shower. We highly recommend it!

This hotel is very nice, opened 2 years ago. We had the king-size bed which was super comfortable. Also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The hot breakfast was very good as well. It's a short 10 minute shuttle ride to the airport. We will definitely stay here next time.

Rooms are nice and Front desk attendant Cameron is awesome! Although if you stay more than one day and you want breakfast go somewhere else. Fake eggs and fake sausages are not breakfast.

I've been to a lot of hotels and most don't really stand out, so I usually opt to save at least a little money. For the time frame we went, most cheaper ones were booked up so we spent a little extra to stay here. I thought it would be like all the other hotels, but this one was a really great experience! I can honestly say it's one of the best hotels I've stayed at for its price range. It's a newer building with nicely designed and very clean rooms, the staff were great and friendly. Had a nice gym and pool and frankly it was just the little things like they had a small sewing kit when the baby's clothes ripped or a very varied breakfast. Oh! And even though it's right next to the airport, they did a great job with the sound proofing, we didn't hear a thing! I highly recommend coming here!

Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. The gym was quite a bit small but maintained. The pool was a good size and my family enjoyed it.

Very new, very clean, very convenient. We really enjoyed staying here on our way across the country. Shame about the hefty $30 pet fee though.

Very clean, modern new hotel built approximately 2015. Located 5 minutes drive from Calgary International airport. Lots of parking. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Room was a good size with a huge comfortable bed and quality bedding. Self service breakfast was included in very reasonable room price. A good selection of food wad available. I only stayed one night before my flight home but wanted to stay a lot longer.

Room is spacious and bed comfortable. However requested a one hour late check out and was denied. As a Wyndham member, I have been loyally using Wyndham hotels for business travel for quite a few months I am now a gold member with a late check out perk, but was still denied. It seems the loyalty from Wyndham is not reciprocated. It' apparent to me that there is no point in limiting my hotel choices in the future.

Outstanding hotel. We reserved multiple rooms for our extended family. All of the rooms were excellent. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty and provided a good variety. Even my kids were delighted. The friendliness and hospitality of the hotel staff wete exceptiona as well. Definitely plan to stay here again.

Definitely a nice hotel. Quite new and the rates are better than expected. It's in a good location close to the airport but it's a bit weird to get to and there really isn't much for restaurants in the immediate area.

We asked that a reading light on my wife's side be fixed as she likes to read to transition into sleep. We checked in and we noticed it right away and we went to the front desk. We were told that we should expect that it would be repaired right away or when their maintenance crew got in. Second day same problem, and we went to the fron't desk… same story. That's why rhe low rating.

The hotel and stay were fine. The low rating is due to subsequently receiving an enoreous charge of $300 for smoking in the room, due to there being a cigarette package in the garbage. Frustrating when I had gone outside each and every time!

Great location in the city with easy access to highways. Rooms were spacious and modern and the breakfast had a good enough selection.

The interior build and design of this hotel is quite nice. I can see that the hotel has been recently built. The complimentary breakfast compromises of a good amount of choices. They even have a waffle and pancake maker. There is a gym along with the swimming pool and hot tub. There are also a few meeting rooms available for booking. For the features, the price of the hotel is very reasonable. Depending on the beds and number of guests, the cheapest for one night rate would be about $100. As I said before, this is not much to pay for the luxury and comfort that the hotel has to offer. It is close to the airport and therefore easily accessible by travellers. The hotel offers a free shuttle service for those customers who need to go to the airport for their flight.

We were greeted by extremely friendly staff who were so sweet to our little boy. They gave him a little water with a candy bag, after asking our permission, which was extremely considerate and respectful. Had a nice swim. Unfortunately we were reported to the front desk for our baby crying, so the front desk decided to call our room at 930 with two little kids in here, after the babe had just fallen asleep, just to wake them up all over again. Poor choice? Guessing the guy doesn't have kids or did not feel like walking up to our room. Otherwise everything was great. Hotel has every option a travelling person could need, fridge, microwave, parking, pool, shuttle and breakfast! Great beds and pillows? Heavy bleach smell to the sheets. If they didn't call our room at 930PM and wake our kids I would have given a 5.

This hotel is my go to. The rooms are very modern in their design and king beds are a huge plus. Breakfast is big and delicious. Make sure you go the right way as it is easy to misjudge the route since you can see it from the main highway. Airport shuttle is quick and setting your appointment is super easy. Only gripe is you can hear your neighbors and the hallway. If you can get over that, I'd def recommend.

I had a great time no I was there on business, the staff made sure anything was mint! Our multiple shuttle drivers were amazing and funny always respectful made sure our stay was pleasant. Breakfast is included well that's a bonus! I loved the hot tub the gym is small but enough to keep up. Merry Christmas to you guys

This hotel is quiet, clean and they have very comfortable beds. I have back pain and spinal injuries and I had a great sleep. My bed was firm but not hard. When you have severe back pain, finding a hotel with a good bed is is worthwhile, so I'd return again for a restful night sleep.

Sure, the rooms are nice and the breakfast is tasty. Unfortunately, as commuting air crew, the 7 and 8am shuttles are consistently overbooked. This means I have to shell out an extra $15 to cab to the airport when I'm already spending money just to sleep here for 6 hours. The giddy front desk staff laughed at me for not having enough time to get a decent sleep, and then because I was going to have to cut my rest from 6 hours to 5 because their shuttles are full. Cool.

The good; the room was nice and the bed comfortable. No noticeable noise from the airport. A really good breakfast buffet is included. Pet friendly. Well maintained pool and hot tub and workout room. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The bad; noise seemed to transfer between rooms more than other hotels I've been to.

The place is great! Nice people, everything is clean, and neat. Everything is new. Location is very close to the airport. Breakfast isn't too bad. Pancakes, waffles, toast and fruit. Room has a large TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker. Only complaint is that the door to the hallway is too thin. Can hear everything that happens in the hallway.

This hotel is very nice. It is new and very clean. However, we telephoned from Montreal to make a reservation for the same night. At that time we informed the front desk person that we had a small dog and he said he would make sure we were in a pet friendly room. Upon our arrival the front desk person was aware that we had a dog and we checked in. The following morning we were informed that there was a $30.00 fee for the dog. I disputed this because I told them I was at no time informed of this and that our dog could very easily have stayed in his kennel in our vehicle which had been parked at the airport while we were away. The day manager was not at all pleasant about this situation and there was absolutely no give and take at all. I felt that we should have been informed of this at the time of booking or at least when we checked in.

Modern, clean hotel — professional, friendly and helpful staff, great pool/fitness facility and a tasty and filling breakfast served in a beautiful lobby setting. Great value for money — definitely the place to stay near Calgary airport!

This hotel is newer, and in pretty good shape overall. The room however, had a broken bathroom door, broken bedside light, and a toilet that didn't flush. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Everything was clean and tidy. I expected the room to be in much better repair than it was for being a newer building. If they get maintenance under control I would recommend this hotel for a stay as it's basically right across the street from the airport, but we never heard a plane once.
