They hosted a lovely event for the holidays with incredible food! Dumplings, sushi, carving station, charcuterie, falafel with mango chutney, tandoori chicken skewers, amazing selection of alcohol. The staff serving/bartending the event were the sweetest and most friendly. The lobby is decorated for Christmas which was lovely. Rooms looked great! Definitely recommend for your next party venue!

Very decent, though feels a little aged for a Hyatt Regency. Staff is very sweet, helpful and takes good care of guests. Food is ok.

Love our stay at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown. Great location! Walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Pool is open and just need to book a time to swim. Easy check in and check out. Had a great experience and highly recommend it.

The staff were very accommodating, we told them we were on our honeymoon and they gave us free passes to the regency lounge! Super nice rooms as well. Save some money and park at the Bow Tower, $5/12 hrs.

Very good hotel in downtown Calgary. — near Glenbow and also various shopping centres. Very friendly staff, good service. Nice large, clean and quite rooms. Breakfast buffet was very good. We spend only a day and would love to return.

Honestly best experience at a hotel ever. Rooms were super clean, view was amazing, the pool and gym were honestly so cool. But I think the best part were the staff. They were so kinda and friendly, and really funny. Will definitely have to stay here more often.

The hotel location is very central and it's great during Stampede or some other event where you need to be near the Calgary core. In addition, the facilities are clean, new and well kept. I was very impressed and happy to pay the fees. The staff are friendly and help you get right in and do their best to be great hosts. I didn't get to try the food at the hotel so can't comment on that. Would definitely consider staying again should I be in Calgary.

I love the art of Lake Louise and the Rockies on the top floor where the ballroom is. Great artwork all around the hotel. The lounge bar is a great place to check out. The hotel is connected to the +15 system which is really nice in the winter time. Looking forward to spending a night here sometime.

I was here for an Amazon conference, but as this is just for the hotel, I won't rate the contents here. The building is lovely and clean. The catering service struggled with the number of people attending, but I'm not sure if that was due to a higher than expected number of people. I would definitely do another event here though, it was a great environment for a conference.

Honestly one of the nicest hotels I've ever been in. Our room was huge, we had the room with the attatched living room and it was also really nice. Employees are helpful, the bar is the perfect setting, the pool and hot tub were great. I'd definitely go back there! 6/5!

I stayed at this hotel during a business and exhibition trip within the hotel. The hotel was well located and easy to get to. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and they have upgraded my room after checking.

Room had a bit of a musty/stale smell. UV filtered water was nice to have. City view. Bathroom was clean. No one assisted me with my bags when I arrived (the outside attendant was not present). I later discovered that the attendant was inside watching but did not bother to come out and assist me. I had to make 2 trips to get all my luggage from the taxi. Can't beat the location though, very close to Stuart Street. This was my first experience with Hyatt. I'd heard it was very high end, but it turned out quite average. Great location but I wouldn't consider this the best in this price range.

Beautiful hotel with newly renovated rooms that are fantastic! I've never seen such large televisions in a hotel room. The beds were an absolute dream, and the bathroom was gorgeous! My only complaint is that the bathroom didn't have any towel bars to hang your towels on.

Renovated rooms are excellent! Meeting room space is modern and looks great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A great stay.

Hotel was very nice and well appointed. I didn't stay overnight just attended a conference. Food was delicious and everything was taken care of. The only flaw I noticed was at one meal they ran out of cutlery.

I went to the Hyatt for a conference. It is a great building. I was impressed with the staff. There were a lot of people trying to get through to one of the events and I remember seeing a staff member moving a piece of furniture out of the just to make it easier for the crowd to get through. It was a simple thing but showed that they care about making sure that there guests have a good experience. It is a great building and was immaculately clean.

Good hotel well located downtown.

The architecture of this building was gorgeous and it is right in the heart of downtown Calgary. The staff was very helpful in getting me transportation and always pleasant. Very spacious rooms.

We had our work social event at Hyatt on Saturday. The banquet room was beautifully decorated decorated. They have a good lighting system and many door entries into the room. Very spacious. I think we had about 500 guests in the event. The main course was chicken or beef. The chicken was amazing but the beef was a little dry. We parked at telus convention center and walked to Hyatt. All indoor walking which was nice. Also it was a cheaper place to park for the evening than right at Hyatt, around $5.

Most amazing hotel. Stayed when renovations were underway. Pool closed for Reno's with an option to use another hotel pool a quick walk away. Gym open on the 18th floor tho. Hotel bar closes at 11:30pm If doing business at late hours, think about a late night location off site.

Would stay there again, staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Pool was closed during our stay, otherwise the accommodations are comparable to any other 4 — or 5-star hotel. Bed and room were very comfortable, bath I would want for my own house. Only critique was a bit of noise from the nearby C train.

My wife & I recently had a very nice relaxing evening away in the Hyatt Regency. The staff was very charming and our rooms were silent, it was wonderful. Had thought the private lounge would have had a bit more going on, especially for new years eve, but it was still a good experience. We will be considering the Hyatt Regency again for our next staycation.

Visited the Stillwater Spa for a bit of Christmas vacation relaxation and was not disappointed. Spa facilities are small, but nice. Men's room contains a wet sauna, hot tub, and shower. Common area has lots of tea and snacks. Massage rooms are fully equipped and the massages are custom tailored to meet your needs. Slightly pricey, but since my insurance covers the tab, I deserve it! 10/10, rub my back again.

Good place near all Moll shops etc is remodeled very clean.

Our company has done our Christmas party here the last two years. The location is very nice, professional staff, great food. A great location to do a Christmas party. We had over 500 people at our parties that the Hyatt was able to handle with little difficulty.

Nice place. Staff are quite helpful. Great for events. Rooms are aging a bit. TV is pretty weak and you have to pay for anything on demand. Wanted to draw attention to the fact that parking is $30 for self park and $40 for valet and they ALWAYS run out of self park and force you to valet. This is insane. Go park at the Telus Convention Centre for $10 a day.

Very nice hotel, the only downside, from the renovation, the pool was not available, we were obliged to go to Mariotte, if not courteous staff, and smiling.

Usually I love coming here, but this trip I got to my room and it feels like a motel room. Cheap feeling tub/shower, outlets that are coming off, an iron with a worn down setting dial so I can't see how hot I'm getting it, and a bed that creaks. If work weren't paying for this stay, I would definitely change locations. As it is, if I am in town for a conference again, I will be looking at some place else.

The Hyatt is one of the best hotels in the area I would consider it the best for the food especially. Great place for meetings for work are you even if you are visiting the city and need a place to stay. But I was there they were doing renovations but very considerate about the timings that they're doing them it didn't impact my days at all.

I attended Vision Canada conference this weekend. At the Hyatt Regency in Calgary. It was very clean and the food was awesome. We had a break so I walked around Hotel discovered the Still Water Spa. Did a tour of Spa. Now I'm looking forward to booking a message. And having some me time.

It's a wonderful place to rest and if you want to take a drink the hotel bar is great, the waitress are very nice people and very funny, they are so happy to recieve strange people, I would get back!

Staff was very helpful in organizing and helping with the events. They took of the cars and were very kind and giving as a host. Very attentive and welcoming. And everyone took the time to even just say hello! Big step in hospitality.

We really like the Hyatt, our one spot for staycations. The only thing I would suggest is that with large events like Rocky Mountain is maybe the Sandstone could stay open a little later not close the doors at midnight. Many guests from out of town and local performers like to sit visit after preforming they have to leave the hotel to get food and drinks.
Fix that and it would be perfect.

The hotel was very nice inside, and the staff was amazing. The downside was they are doing work on the outside of the hotel, and the regular entrance is blocked off. The signs telling you where to go are on the side of the building and difficult to spot, especially in the evening.

Great venue for a conference. Next to the C-Train so getting downtown is easy. The food service was amazing. Best vegan selection I've seen in a long time.

A great venue to host an event at. The event staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. The facility is first class and so is the food.

Valet was totally worth it, huuuge TV in the king size bed room with a crazy awesome updated bathroom with a awesome shower. The pool and hot tub were amazing and I had them all to myself. Wifi was great once I got it working. Also very close to walking distance for many restaurants and the Calgary tower. Overall I had a great experience with Hyatt.

We went to rest after a while exploring the city of Calgary, and we liked it. The workers were friendly and served us quickly. I would return to Hospidarme on a journey in the future.

Underground parking in which to park to go check in. All of the meals have been very good. The potato skins are amazing. All the staff have been very nice beds comfy and big room. Smaller pool and weight room but still met our needs and had fun.

This is our go-to hotel in Calgary. The location is perfect for accessing downtown. The room was clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had no issues at all during check in and check out.

Great place. So centered in downtown. Tower is just down the street. Close to all the shops with c train around the corner. Nice pool and hot tub. Great views all around. No breakfast but lots of cafes close by. If u want to see downtown calgary, best place to stay!

Hotel seems very nice. Did not have a king bed for us so gave us two Queens instead. Room could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly.

This is a 4 star hotel at core of Calgary downtown for a nice price. I'm only giving 4 because there was a little too much dust in the room, and the shower trim had a little issue in the first of the 2 nights. Problems were fixed though, even that I didn't report them.

I'll never stay here again. They didn't tell me about the astronomical extra parking fees until 2 days before I got there, even though I booked the room months in advance. Rooms are not worth the price either, you can get just as nice a room at the Holiday inn and it's cheaper, nicer and offers free parking. This place will fleece you if you make the mistake of staying there. Restaurant is waaay overpriced and food is not good. They trap you there like a vegas casino, if you leave and lose your free parking spot, they nail you with a huge amount to rent the spot, or force you to use Valet parking for another huge penalty. If your thinking of staying here, please take my advice and DON'T DO IT!

Nice place. Busy but quiet. Very clean room, nice details with lots of lighting choices, huge flat screen, plugs for many devices, safe, coffee and comfy beds. We were happy with accommodation all around as well as the very good full breakfast buffet in restaurant downstairs.

Service was really good. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Was not the cleanest hotel. For this price I can find a much cleaner and better hotel. Paid parking for $30 sucks, paid breakfast for $40 sucks, rooms were too small. View was good from the rooms. Uneven beds, got neck pain next day when I realized it. Overall, will never go to them again.

Get hotel and a fantastic stay. Newly renovated rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Great management: offered us a quiet room far away from a bachelor's party. Didn't need it because soundproofing is good in between rooms. Even followed up the day after and offered to let us check out later. Great experience overall.

Hotel is next to a construction site, which means ambient noise leaks through the windows: you can feel the vibrations on the glass. So if you have kids you want to get to bed before the bylaws managed quiet time, it might be tough. Wi-Fi was great and free. Refrigerator in the room was weak: chilling our food and drink to just below lukewarm. Beds and furnishings / decor were top notch, though, and you can't beat the location for access to downtown nightlife.

Almost five star. Great location. Within walking distance to all major downtown places and very close to the Stampede but can't walk there. Great service. Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Bed is a little too soft for me but no major complaint there. Just one annoying thing: the C-train passes by and the noise is constant even well into the night.

Overall environment is very elegant, the rooms are clean, service is professional, and the ingredients fresh.

The caterers were super polite and professional at the event attended. Room was decorated and setup nicely. Stations setup for food were good but plates provided for food were tea plates however some of the foods provided required a bigger plate.

Excellent service, room was spacious and clean. Only issue would be low pressure from the shower heads.

The beds are amazing… I haven't slept that well in ages but I passed out and slept so well! I'd definitely go back just for the beds! The service and amenities are top notch!

I was fortunate enough to host a Convention for the Alberta NDP at the hotel. From my event consultant, Laura to the staff that were there from the moment I got the keys, shall we say. They were fantastic, PSAV staff with Kyle at the helm were above and beyond, The Event concierge staff with all of the last minute changes went out of their way. I used them to cater an event at the Glenbpw Museum on the Friday night, fantastic, a ladies luncheon for 150, and a banquet for 350 as well as over 900 registered delegates, many of whom stayed at the hotel. Nothing but compliments all round. I stayed on the Saturday night, the suite was fantastic, ultra clean, well appointed and so quiet. I slept like a baby.

Conference space was really good, and the service was impeccable. Other than a few hiccups with the sound system, which were corrected quickly, I have no complaints.
