Always enjoy my stay here every time I visit Calgary. Staff is awesome, rooms are nice, and it’s in a good location.

Beautiful rooms. Perfect for a family.
Very nice people. Our check-in was suppose to be at 3pm. But we arrive early from the airport and they gave us room right away. We dont need to wait for 3pm check-in cause there was an available room right away.
I am so happy I got this Hotel and I dnt regret. Highly appreciate it!

I have spent almost two months here now. Great staff and hospitality! A special ‘Thank You’ to Daniel, Diego, Ally, Ewan, and Caroline! And housekeeping. They have gone above and beyond to make this feel like more than home for myself and coworkers. I appreciate the kindness, professionalism, and hospitality! Thank you all.

Amazing Amenities, spacious rooms.

I can't believe I didn't write a review. I checked in here in 2019 along with my colleagues I came earlier. I explained to the woman who was the desk at between 3-6pm with blonde hair how tired I was… there was no help with my suitcase to the room. Anyways I proceeded to my room and then came down to ask her for scissors to cut tags off my clothing she said sorry we don't loan scissors because guest do not return. The next day I told my colleagues about her and they said she treated them well and gave them water on arrival. Maybe it was the colour of my skin she did not like because the cost was being paid by our company so there should have not been no different treatment. I was terrified to even asked her for a plaster I went to another hotel to ask for a plaster. I was uncomfortable during my stay because I felt discriminated.

Difficult one to review, but on balance I wouldn't stay here again. It is not a quiet place to sleep. Mainly this is because of the constant claxon sirens & bells of the trams, which obviously the hotel can't control, but their windows were so poor it sounded like they were open. They really should have gone for triple glazing or some kind of sound proofing. Considering the main function of a hotel is sleep. Their choice of pillow was those awful feather ones with only about 1/6 filling, so I ended up using my travel J pillow just to get some neck support. The valet parking (which is the only option) is a complete price gauge at $38 per night. We were left stood in the rain for ages waiting for our car, we just wanted to go & get it ourselves. The room was fine, clean and spacious. The black out blinds were good.

Nice place. Staying in the corner king and it's large and well appointed. The bed is great. The rate was awesome for the quality. Would definitely stay again.

I only was in the Hilton for about ten minutes. The couches in the lobby are very comfortable but a little too deep. The decor is also very modern and the music was enjoyable.

Staff is very good and helpful. The air conditioning unit in our room was industrial type noisy… and Valet Parking is very expensive. Breakfast was marginally good at best.

The room was very nice including mini kitchen space (coffee, fridge, microwave). Very comfortable bed and temperature moderation. Room service was great — fast and delicious with lots of great food options. There's valet parking as well as a public paid parking lot across the street. Very good for the rate downtown though breakfast is not included (but available in the restaurant).

Excellent new property. Room rates are $100 less than my usual place and it includes breakfast! Staff is professional, couteous and very helpful. They are also better than my usual hotel in downtown.

Beautiful new hotel that was was built directly next to an LRT line and intersection. Expect to hear ding ding ding and feel the rumble of the trains as they go by. The place needs better insulation and triple pane windows!

The hotel is very clean and modern, and the in/out valet parking is great. The rooms can be made nice and dark for sleeping, and everything in the room worked how it was supposed to. The staff were very helpful, and it's within walking distance of the Stampede.

Met some clients in the lounge and had some coffee. We've been sending our customers here from out of town lately. It's close to the airport (15 mins) and has a walkable street level right next to the train. Great spot for a hotel!

Excellent rooms, clean, well decorated and functional. Staff was kind and accommodating. Bed was either exceptionally comfortable or I was extremely tired either way I slept very well. I would highly recommend this location. Note that parking is by valet only and cost ~$35. But you can come and God as you please throughout the day.

Lobby and parking area are confusing because the the building is divided between Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites. Room has only a coffee maker and an empty fridge. Safes are available downstairs by request at the front desk. There is a pantry area in the lobby, but selection is very limited. Housekeeping isn't daily (at least for our room). Gym is fairly good, pool is small and was crowded with kids. Location is convenient for easy access to public transit but you have to walk a bit to find shops, restaurants or convenience stores. Lots of construction going around the area. Bar staff not very friendly, front desk staff is a hit and miss.

Clean and comfortable stay. Front desk staff were attentive and helpful. Would definitely come back.

We went to the Hilton restaurant as part of the Sustainable Cities program. We learned about the restaurant's sustainable practices and tried out their crafted menu. The food and the chef's talk were both awesome!

A beautiful looking new hotel in the east village. Nice modern decor, with a good small bar inside. The atmosphere fits with the east village relaxed but a sort of artsy feel. Have not stayed in the rooms but the conference room was quite nice spacious and the staff were very friendly and quick to help.

Amazing hotel, brand new, rooms are very well done. Gym is superb as are the pool facilities. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms are really nice. Loved it! Breakfast is one of the best I've had.

The hotel itself was nice however several things occurred that didn't make our experience a desirable one. The front desk staff told us breakfast was from 6am until 9am. It was New Years so we woke up around 930am and headed out just before checkout time only to find out they extended breakfast until noon which we wouldn't have missed if we were told the correct timings originally. Secondly, we asked where was the best spot to see fireworks were at. The same staff told us they were cancelled only for us to hear them go off at midnight from our room which was too late to catch them by the time we got bundled up and headed out. On top of that, the Hilton's pet fee of $75.00 is outrageous in comparison to any other hotel chain. So in all, what could have been a great New Year's Eve was average at best due to misinformation provided by a staff member.

Everything here was great. Room was nice and service was excellent. Would recommend and I will be staying here again.

Just wanted to thank Stephanie and Marina who were at the font desk on Sunday November 12. I flew in after a long business trip and needed shirts laundered for a series of important upcoming business meetings. It was Sunday and Monday was Remembrance Day and laundry service was out. The two worked together to get my shirts out and back in time for my meetings. Great service and they saw past my frustration and helped me out with a smile and a great level of follow-up, Happy we stayed here for this important trip. We will come back to the hotel because of Marina and Stephanie.

Absolutely lovely new hotel. Great amenities that made me feel right at home! Everyone in the hallways said good morning to me on the way out as well! I'll definitely stay there again.

Pros: Nice clean room with good amenities including pretty decent internet speeds. Excellent customer service and a nice lounge area with local beer on tap. Cons: Train nearby with loud crossing signals early in the morning.

Let's see if I can list the things that I loved about this hotel. 1. The Lounge has an amazing atmosphere with extremely friendly and entertaining staff. It always felt like home going back to the hotel and hanging out in the lounge. 2. The rooms are very well furnished, including a microwave! 3. They say there's no self parking, but there's actually a city lot immediately across the street. 4. There's cookies in the lobby in the afternoon. Like fresh, warm, gooey cookies!

Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff. One of my best hotel stays. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and staff are courteous. The hotel ambiance is great.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The beds were comfy, the rooms and spaces clean, and the front desk attentive and helpful. Would stay again.

Note: This review isn't for the hotel itself, but for the restaurant within the hotel, the Great American Grill (can't find a specific page for it). — — My husband and I ate at the restaurant inside the Hilton Garden Inn on a Saturday evening. We live nearby and we were really hungry, so we figured that we would finally try this place out instead of walking all the way to Stephen Ave. Once we sat down, we were not acknowledged at all. It took the manager to ask the busboy to bring us some water. After that, it took around 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. We sat kind of close to the kitchen but, even then, we figured that the everyone at the restaurant was be able to hear the two chefs giving attitude to the waitstaff. Everything and everyone were disorganized. There was one waitress taking care of the main restaurant and another at the lounge. Both were literally running around trying to get everyone their order, as well as taking care of room service orders. We were already waiting for over an hour for our food when the manager, David, took control of the food counter. We watched him organize the tickets that the waitstaff had scattered all over the counter, and then dictated to the chefs all of the food that he was missing for the guests. He was the person who initially sat us when we came in, so he noticed that we were getting a little impatient. It was shortly after when he finally delivered our food and apologized for the wait.

I found it a comfortable stay while at this hotel. Rooms were spacious and furnished nicely. The lobby was small but welcoming. The east village area is charming but still under development.

Booked my CEO in this hotel for her visit to Calgary Office. So many Calgary hotels look tired and old. This is new and modern. She loved the hotel and location. The staff were so helpful. It made her visit so much easier. I am booking here for a second visit now and this hotel was her special request. Way to go Hilton.

The stay at the hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and modern. Pricing was good as it was during stampede. Unfortunately the pool wasn't built yet and the roof was leaking in the gym but overall it was a great stay. The staff was also very pleasant.

Danny on the overnight shift was very friendly and welcoming. Most beautiful Hilton property in Alberta. Staff were very helpful. Room was excellent. Loved the large TV screen in the room!

When we got to the hotel we were checked in quickly which was awesome. Our room was immaculate and we have an amazing view. The only downside is that our shower leaks water all over the floor when we turn it on, which is a known problem I guess. Other than that our stay has been amazing!

The location was really nice right beside the bow river. The suites themselves were awesome and if u get a higher floor the view is outstanding. Other then the few construction sites nearby. The staff there is amazing and they all seem to jive well with each other and are super friendly to guests.

Located in the heart of downtown. Brand new hotel with rooms that cater towards families. Rooms have full kitchenette with utensils and plates for those that would prefer to cool for themselves. Includes hot breakfast in the morning.

The hotel was nice and new. We were only there for one night, but everything was clean and taken care of. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. Everyone asked if we were having a nice stay and if we needed any help. The hotel is walking distance from everything in Calgary. It was close to Stephen Avenue, the train line, Olympic Park and the Calgary Tower. It had beautiful views of the city and the Rockies. I recommend staying here.

The beds here are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Huge TV in your room and very good air conditioning. There is a lot of construction going on in the area but this did not cause any problems. You get free coffee in the morning from the lobby and free biscuits on the afternoon. Will stop here again if I ever return back to Calgary.

It's a brand new hotel close to the Saddledome in downtown Calgary. Our hotel room had all the expected amenities, although we found the lack of a lock on the bathroom door a little strange. Check in and out was a smooth and hassle free experience. As far as I could tell, there was only valet parking available. The area around it is still under construction, but the new central library will look great when finished.

Located in East Village. The surrounding environment of the hotel is relatively less busy as compared to other downtown. Really nice environment. The restaurant at main floor has delicious food to eat.
