We stayed for two nights during our visit to Calgary. We tried their continental breakfast and we were not disappointed 🥰

We checked in today for a wedding in Calgary. Then find out there buffet went from a great breakfast to a bagged breakfast, that we were told it would have a yogurt, granola bar, fruit in it. As that was the best they could do. But yet you can order food in there pub! we also phoned 2 days ago to make sure the hot tub was available and they told us yes, but you have to schedule a time. And nope, the hot tub is not open as the tub is empty. For the price we paid we could have stayed elsewhere, as we still have to buy breakfast now. We were supposed to have a queen bed in which there is 2 doubles. I highly recommend, staying some were else. I do not recommend this hotel. I stay in alot of hotels as we travel alot and with my experience here, I will never stay in another Best Western again. I also didn't appreciate the attitude we got from the check in clerk. She just kind of ignored what we asked here. We have quite a few people that booked into this hotel and none of us are happy.

Eventhough our stay occurred during Covid-19, the hotel staff were super accommodating. The room was huge and immaculate.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing breakfast, nice underground parking, fantastic location huge comfy house coats and I love the aromatherapy lemon soap. Front desk staff could be more efficient and friendly. The service staff is great though.

Fantastic accomodations, beautiful interior and wonderful facilities and staff. Complimentary continental breakfast was a full breakfast with all the fixings you could imagine.
Just steps away to C-train and a local shopping centre with a little grocery store. I reccomend anyone who needs to stay in a hotel in Calgary, stay here.

I was here for an extended stay just this past week. This is an amazing place to stay. The hotel is very clean and well maintained/managed. They have free breakfast with many delicious options. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Linda, the front desk manager is very nice. She upgraded my extended stay to a King suite. Tony and Vijay in the night shift are awesome and very helpful as well. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this place. I will be returning as a customer next time I'm in Calgary.

Customer service was good. They were quick to resolve any issues I had. My only issue was that the restaurant can be a little noisy in the morning if your room is located right above it. Other than that everything else was good.

Friendly helpful staff, good value and very nice breakfast. Just an overnight stop so didn't use pool although it seemed quite popular. Hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. There is underground and surface parking and right across from McMahon stadium. Close to major traffic arteries so easy to get about. Will definitely stay here again when in Calgary.

The aesthetic is great. Breakfast food is great (they serve these huge waffles that are absolutely delicious with whipped butter and/or whipped cream). The pool is on the second floor which is weird, and quite small which is disappointing, otherwise everything else is great. The bathrooms are nice, the heating and cooling systems in the rooms work quickly and efficiently, and there's a bar for those who want a drink in the evening. Overall my stay was 8.5/10. Would recommend.

Surprisingly good. Rooms were decent sized and clean. Hotel staff was helpful. Pool/hot tub was clean. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive and enjoyable. Price to product ratio was great. Would definitely stay again. Close to many restaurants too.

Front-desk staff at both check-in and check-out were wonderful. A very nice man brought us some extra towels. Rockies Restaurant staff for our Friday evening dinner were wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the staff for the breakfast buffet in the Courtyard Restaurant were fast and efficient. We were very impressed with the staff overall, and especially with the kind man who checked us in on Friday night — — we were exhausted after a long drive, and he couldn't have been more wonderful. Wish I could remember his name! Hotel was attractive and clean and well-located; amenities were quite good for the price range. The beds were wonderful! This was our first stay but we will definitely be back when we next visit Calgary.

My 5 stars actually goes to the Courtyard Restarant — compliments to the chef and wait staff! I had the Butter Chicken which was absolutely delicious! If I lived in the city I would be a regular customer. Everyone else in the family enjoyed their meals very much and our server was an absolute doll! The rooms were quite nice however I was a little disappointed in the upgrade rate. I arrived at the hotel on Thursday evening for an early morning Friday meeting taking place at the hotel and decided to make a weekend out of it with my family. When I called to inquire about a room upgrade I was quoted almost double the price to stay there so we decided to book the rest of the weekend at another hotel which ended up not so pleasant so in the long run we either suffered financially or comfort wise. It would be nice to see hotels do what they did in previous years — when children under 10 years or so — they would provide a little child welcome gift when you opened your hotel door. (As simple as a dollar store stuffy or colouring book etc) It just makes staying at a hotel with no child amenities (playground, children’s pool) much more enjoyable. So my hotel rating is 4 stars.

Great hotel! My suite was on the main floor, and I found a few ants crawling around, but none of the other guests on the higher floors had any problems with seeing bugs in their suites. I'll have to give this one a 4/5 just because of the few ants I saw, but other than that, it's a great hotel to stay in with free breakfast and Wi-Fi. It's fairly clean, housekeeping arrives after you leave the room for the most part so I would give that a 4/5. There is a swimming pool, a restaurant, and bar in the main lobby, and it's a very open space. Definitely recommend this one to friends and family.

This Best Western was probably the best I've ever stayed at … the guest room was perfect in every way and the breakfast was great. The guest room space was well planned, clean and well appointed. There was plenty of room in the bathroom including a shelf under the sink which is great to put all your bags that you need when you're getting ready in the morning which lots of hotels don't have. There was an Atrium around which all the guest rooms were built and it was very appealing. The restaurant and bar were down there and they were very inviting. There was also a small hot tub and indoor pool in the atrium area. I would definitely stay here again. The value for the money spent was excellent and the the staff was welcoming and helpful. They even ttook time to look up my Best Western rewards number which gave me access to underground parking for free. This was was an unexpected bonus which I didn't even know about. It was especially valuable because during the time we spent it rained. I would give this Best Western a 10+

We had an excellent stay at the hotel during a visit to a family member that was hospitalized. The proximity to the Foothills Hospital was what brought us to the hotel but the staff and hotel condition will take us back next time we are in Calgary. Overall a great stay! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. It’s an older hotel but nicely renovated and the architecture is unique. Our 12 year old was in awe. Haha. The only problem I had was there was a lot of ambient light at night but shoving a towels against the bottom of the hallway door helped.

Surprised how nice the room, very clean and spacious. Better than high priced hotels in Seattle area. Bathroom worked for me but might be an issue for a larger body or a family trying to fit more than one person. Parking was fine but it was a little wierd finding the hotel the first time. Nice staff. Restaurant food was good. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Great staff and everything they had to offer ie: restaurant, lounge, pool etc. Was all well kept and comfortable. Even with a couple of issues we had the staff took care of them promptly and went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was satisfactory. We would definately recommend this hotel and we will be staying again when our travels bring us to Calgary.

The hotel is located in an excellent location. It has access to all the major roads in Calgary. I lived in Calgary many years and the location is my main reason for staying there. The property is well maintained and all the staff are helpful.

This was our first visit to this hotel. The trip was for medical reasons and the staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Supplies had to be delivered prior to our arrival and the staff assisted with this, getting them put directly into our room. They also stayed in contact with us to assure us that they were delivered. This was very reassuring for us. The hotel was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The hot breakfast was very good and varied each day. The restaurant was first rate, the menu was extensive, and the choices that we ordered were delicious and reasonably priced. We would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Simply awesome. Very clean rooms, probably the most comfortable bed I have ever come across in a hotel, a great breakfast buffet and to top it all off heated underground parking! The location is very convenient too, 5 min walk to c train, lots of restaurants and convenience stores etc. Just down the street and easy access to highway 1. You can't go wrong here!

Quite nice and affordable. Minor details that aren't perfect which is the only reason I didn't give it a 5. Rooms are really nice but slightly showing their age. However, still more than adequate. Better than typical breakfast buffet. But can't get the sausages quite right.

Was an excellent place to stay and will do so next time I'm in Calgary. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean, bed were unbelievably comfortable, pillows were soft and had a great sleep. Heated underground parking was a nice to have.

This Best Western hotel has a nice location in Calgary. The amenities are great and staff are very courteous. The rooms all look newly renovated and added to the overall comfort. The only minor issue I had is in the interior styling. The open central section tends to contain and even amplify noise, though with the pool closing at 22:00, it quieted down shortly there after. The included breakfast was excellent (good to see two waffle irons) and had lots of variety for all manner of diets. If I had to go back to Calgary for work or pleasure, this hotel would be one of my top choices to return to.

This was a great hotel to stay in. Close to all the main routes, underground parking and fantastic breakfast. I wish that the breakfast had gone a bit longer, maybe until 11:00 on the weekends perhaps? Very clean rooms and great amenities. Awesome staff as well! We will definitely be returning to this hotel the next time we are in Calgary.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Village Park Inn best western, it was a convenient location for the wedding that we attended. All of the staff, always said hello and were friendly. Their breakfast buffet was the best!

This is a very well run hotel with wonderful staff. Rooms are a bit dated but maintained to a high standard and extremely clean. In my many Best Western stays I found the breakfast room here to be one of the best anywhere, real food! As a BW "card holder" I was treated very well and made to feel welcome the whole time I was there (4 nights) Appreciated the secure parking and all the amenities. Rates are very competitive as it is not downtown but the transportation in Calgary is very efficient, rapid transit just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

The stay was good. The only problem was that the room had a smell to it. And we had to open the outside door and the room door to get fresh air. The bathroom needs a fan. Also the pool needs better lighting. Over all it was a good stay… very good breakfast.

My stay at the Best Western Plus Village Park Inn was one of my most satisfying hotel experiences I've ever had. I'm not a person who normally fills out these surveys, But the staff and management at this hotel should be praised for their awesome customer service. Everyone was always friendly and helping. The food at the restaurant and lounge was excellent. The complimentary hot breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Underground parking was included in price of hotel (not an extra like all the other hotels) if you were a member, which had lots of parking room. I know when I go to Calgary again I will for sure be staying at this hotel! Mike DeBruyne.

The best deal on the Trans Canada for the weary traveler. Not much from the outside — just a big block building. But beautiful modern rooms which are very spacious. Very welcoming: complementary bottles of water. A pool. Bar/ lounge. Included is a full hot buffet breakfast with a great variety of foods. Even good coffee! And extra coffee cups and covers to take on the road — — a lovely extra. Also, a perfect location on the western edge of the city for us driving through from Winnipeg to Vancouver.

The service is world class! The Ladies that looked after us and are room are super friendly and are very professional, and always made my Wife and I feel welcomed and are room ALWAYS immaculate Thank-you so very, very much! Also I would like to thank the hard working folks who handle the Morning breakfast, you ALL were very hard working and you do a great JOB! Thank-you for a absolutely wonderful stay and please know that we very much appreciate all of you!

Updated hotel. Nice new interior and rooms. Recognized Best Western membership level and offered rewards immediately upon check — in. Breakfast was good and offered ample variety and quantity. Bed linens were clean and in good condition. One queen bed was firm and comfortable while one was a bit lumpy but not too bad. Pool area is a bit small and noisy due to location in courtyard but hotel can't do much about that. Overall satisfied.

I chose this hotel because it is really clean, well renovated, well located.
The staff is always smiling. A good room size. I like the look of Atrium. I would recommend it to everyone.

My family stayed there for 7 days and without a doubt, it was truly a wonderful experience. The staff are absolutely wonderful, the hotel is beautiful, the amenities are fabulous and the complimentary breakfast was incredible! The room was very spacious and clean! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone! We plan on coming back to Calgary a lot (we live in Nova Scotia) and without a doubt, we will be staying there every time! My family stayed at this location between August 7th-13th 2016. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful after a horrible experience at a different location, where the staff member was crude and extremely unhelpful and that location was dark and glumy, We checked in on my daughter's birthday and they allowed her to pick a treat on them because of the special day. Next time my family is in Calgary my husband and I will be coming back to this location where the staff was amazing and the guests were well taken care of.

The front desk staff and restaurant staff could not have been nicer. The room was nicely appointed and clean. Modern bathroom spotless. The restaurant has several gluten friendly options for breakfast lunch and supper. Great location if you want proximity to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and Foothill Health Centre.

Great hotel Excellent service good price. It was Christmas Eve and as we have a little boy of 3 years old they left a Santa Claus on the door of the room.

Enjoyed my 4 night stay. Clean newly renovated rooms. A very good hot breakfast using real ceramic plates hate disposable plates as when I cut into my waffel it cuts into the plate.

Even if currently under renovation, the hotel is really nice, staff as usual really polite and courteous. Rooms modern and nice looking. Wifi is fast and responsive.

We stay here alot, this visit has so far been the worst we've had.

Stayed at this place for 2 nights with our family. The first night there were fights by the pool and load noises all night. Many people were out of there rooms complaining about the noise. Did not get any sleep at all. There was only one guy at the front desk and he could not do anything about it. My kids had to remove towels and bottles from the pool before they could swim in it the next day! So I talked to the manager and wanted my money back for the night. He agreed and said he would remove it from my Visa card. So I get my bill and night was not removed, I guess he hoped I would not notice. Still have not received the night free as discussed. I just have the full rate minus initial adjustments that were there at check in. Scam artists! I guess this is why the hotel had rooms.

If you have any SCENT Allergies, DO NOT STAY HERE. There is some type of scent spritzed in the hotel and it is overpowering. Our room was clean, our bathroom door was installed wrong and would not close. The safe was not attached and almost fell on our head. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing environment, this may not be the hotel for you. I'd say its good for families, with the open concept of the pool and restaurant, but it does have noise that travels to your room. I used earplugs and then was fine. We felt there may have been an issue with the cleanliness of our pool, as some of the kids got sick, and it was only the one's that had gone swimming. Most of the staff do not speak English very well, so that was hard some of the time to communicate what you needed. They DO NOT have Airport Shuttle. They charge you your whole stay, PLUS $50/night incidentals at check in, and then refund you 2-5 business days AFTER you check out. I have never experienced that before. Their breakfast buffet was good, coffee on that side is amazing! On the bar side, not so great. The cleaning staff is polite and amazing. I would look elsewhere if I stayed in Calgary again, but would stay again if I had no other choice.

Walked in the lobby and the front desk associates were not as welcoming as the other best westerns I have been to. We just attended the Best Western Plus in Vernon BC and it was wonderful, the staff welcomed you as they walked by, offered assistance right away and the decor of the hotel was beautiful. This hotel however, smells so terrible that I feel like I can't breathe. I don't know if is the cleaner they use or if it was the person who used this room before, but either way it smells Awful! The beds are tiny and the bathroom is dark. The bathroom light is flickering and there is a door that leads to the parking lot directly in our room. Which does not feel too safe. The parking lot had people with 3 flat tires and the parking was difficult and confusing. We have yet to try the food. The pool was so and so and the hot tub is tiny. Go somewhere else, just saying.

Well I haven't even stayed here yet but I've already had a bad experience. I called at 9:30pm on a Thursday to make a booking as it's close to where I have business. The woman I spoke to on the phone made it very difficult for me to make the booking. She wanted me to call back the next day, then gave me a good sigh when I said I wanted to book tonight. She made every step of the process difficult from there on. I'm still going to stay there, hopefully the rest of the staff are pleasant so as to imply they would like business. Strange.

Food was good. Rooms clean. Very cool building very unique. And for 130 bucks a night how can you complain. Oh and the internet I got 25mbps down and 6mbps up in the cafe. Little less in the rooms. But still more than enough.

This is the hotel I normally stay at when I am in town to work at the University. The last few times I have stayed, I found two major problems: first, there is something wrong with the air because I got a very sore nose and throat, and a bleeding nose when I stayed; second, the new beds they have are way too soft and all their rooms have the same beds. I thought that it was just dry in the city the last few times when I had problems with my throat and nose, but this last visit was very humid and I had a sore throat and bleeding nose (if is very unusual for me to get a bleeding nose). The firmness of the bed is just my preference, but I could not sleep in these beds. I woke up several times a night. I will have to find another favorite place to stay now.
