Excellent hotel for the price. Rooms were nice and well kept. Our room came with a small kitchen nook and bar fridge with built in freezer. Bathroom was very well cleaned and maintained. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. Salt water for the pool and it came with a water slide that children loved. There was also a breakfast included. The food was superb. I've had worse $30 breakfasts. Both a waffle station and omelette station with bagels, English muffins, granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, and strapless like breakfast sausages, eggs and hash browns. Will definitely return.

Another great stay at the BW! From your arrival to departure, you feel right at home. Lots of parking, comfortable beds, and great breakfasts are only the start of your enjoyment. Great fitness centre and pool area, guest laundry and a relaxing bar during the evening makes this a great place to stay in the Calgary North area. Hidden gem that is easily accessed from the highway and close to everything you need. Highly recommend this location.

We have stayed at this hotel many times since they built it. We think it is the best in Calgary and recommend it to all. They have always been friendly and hospitable with great breakfast and very clean and comfy. Thanks for many great experiences.

This hotel is very accessible to the airport. It's 30 minutes to the southwest side of Calgary & acceptable if you don't run into traffic delays. The hotel staff are all very kind & helpful, whether it be check in/out or restaurant staff. The room was very accessible for the needs located on the ground floor. The bed was not pillow top like I was used to but still comfortable. The amenities were in all working order. In conclusion, I would sugget this hotel to both family & friends if in Calgary.

Definitely a 5 star rating for this hotel! Clean, comfy, spacious rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant serves great food at reasonable prices at dinner. On top of that they have a free airport shuttle 24/7.

The staff here are amazing! Helen in the restaurant for breakfast is fabulous. Remembers people even if it is from a year ago! I highly recommend this hotel. Close to lots of shopping and the airport.

Always friendly, helpful and clean! The omelette station for breakfast is our awesome and the staff is always smiling. This has been our go to hotel for years and is still our favourite.

Nice hotel with onsite restaurant in an industrial area just north of the airport. Included breakfast was awesome — includes an omelette bar with a load of choices. Bed and bedding was good, although the room was just a little rough… see torn curtain and bed skirt in the pictures.

Clean Hotel, great staff. Free breakfast is the best I have had so far. Internet is fast and reliable. Room was spacious and comfortable. Easy access to deerfoot and the airport. I will stay again no question.

Really nice hotel. The room was like new, very clean and in great condition. Breakfast was also very good with a nice assortment of hot and cold items like scrambled eggs or omelettes. Overall I was pleasantly surprised.

The kids love the water slide and the rooms are great too! Very convenient for shopping or the airport! Nice staff and A+ breakfast! It is a new hotel and thus the rooms look good. The beds are not the nicest ones I have ever slept in but there are options for pillows which is nice! The restaurant is awesome I highly recommend their Fries! Super tasty!

We stay here quite often throughout the year. Mostly we are very happy with our service, room and staff. The most recent time there was little to no selection/variety/availability of snack foods in the commissary. We were also put on hold for 10 minutes (until the restaurant closed) and were refused our order. There was also no hot water in the morning for 2 hours — and when you pay to rent the jacuzzi suite it’s a big deal. So 8/10 regularly. This time we give it about a 6.

Even though I had prepaid it took 10 minutes at front desk to get my key. Slowest out of all the hotels I stayed at. Stayed in hotel room with Jacuzzi and fireplace. The fireplace is just aesthetics it doesn't even get warm though there was a "caution gets hot when on" warning. There was hair in the Jacuzzi and the toilet seats didn't function. No compensation was made to me other than letting us use another rooms washroom. Really disappointed after having paid for a quality experience. The breakfast was really good. The room and hotel look nice. I wanted to enjoy the hotel but when checking out no one even said anything about the major inconvinence which was the toilet not working! Overall a notice looking hotel and room but customer service is nowhere close.

I meant to do this a long time ago. But we traveled in April 2017 and stayed here on our way to Mexico. There was a group of us and they were more than accommodating to get us together with adjoining rooms. My 5 month old son was not traveling well and in the middle of the night I came downstairs asking if they gD more rooms the manager gave us another room for $50 so we didn’t hve to keep waking our other kids. The hotel was super clean and up to date. We had supper at the hotel and it was great. My older kids had fun in the pool. The shuttle was prompt and on time. All the staff was very friendly! Thanks guys!

Hotel was not clean. Elevator was very smelly and dirty. room was not well maintained. Bathroom vanity and tap were loose. breakfast was average. Hash brown was dry. for a best western premier expecting was higher. Definitely not coming back. I stayed at this location several time in the past since it was just opened. The maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel are terrible and has gotten worst.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel on a recent trip to Calgary and were very impressed. Located by the airport, this hotel is clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable and overall experience was excellent. Free breakfast includes an 'omelette bar' where they make you a fresh omelette with whatever fillings you want! Would definitely stay here again.

We were not aware of this new Best Western Hotel and found it just opened and was on line. Great new building. Lovely fresh new decor, close to the airport close to a great italian restaurant and close to the park 2 go secure airport car park and shuttle. Loads of parking at this hotel and great lighting. Very well done.

Had supper in the restaurant. We had a burger and fries. It was a fantastic burger and hands down the best fries we have ever had. Prices were reasonable and service was good. Such a nice treat to have a good restaurant on site instead of having to go find one! way to go Freeport Best Western! We also were able to plug in our diesel truck, that is so appreciated! Great location too. Close to the airport, yet rooms so soundproof we didn't hear any of them even though they were regularly taking off from the airport.

Our experience with this hotel was amazing. I had booked the wrong typeof suite. They were sold out, and offered a cot for additional sleeping. As the hotel was sold out they did not have any cots left. They went to a local store and bought one. It was delivered to our room with all the linens as well. The staff here is amazing. The hotel is very clean. Our King Suite with Jacuzzi tub was wonderful and well laid out.

Great value in this clean, great access hotel. Room was tidy, everything worked well. The bed was comfortable and clean. The omelette, sausages and waffle breakfast was fantastic. Did not get the cooks name but she was very friendly and seemed like she really enjoyed her job. Refreshing!

Close to the airport and has a parking program. Have stayed at the hotel twice now. Well kept rooms, clean and all the amenities you require. Front desk staff pleasant. Great breakfast buffet with omelette bar. Staff attending the buffet very helpful — clearing dishes from table and attending to buffet. Shuttle to the airport was efficient both departing from hotel and when needing pick up from airport. Will stay here again when flying out of Calgary.

Right by airport, great staff. Although this hotel usually serves more singles/business folks, they had all we needed to travel with our toddler too (high chair, crib, etc) and were very accommodating with any special requests. And a special thank you to Helen, the breakfast supervisor for making our son so welcome :) The omelette station and waffle makers at the included breakfast were fantastic, too.

Well-lit parking lot made my car feel safe. Vegetarian-friendly restaurant in the hotel. Courteous front desk staff offered to print Google directions to nearby restaurant. Good looking room. Tv channel guide in binder, along with nearby restaurant suggestions, as well as hotel restaurant menu. Excellent spot to stay near Calgary airport, and, it is close to city freeway access, which can quickly slingshot you anywhere in Calgary.

Trip is a short distance from hotel and very handy for overnight stays. It was relatively quiet, you could barely hear airplanes taking off. A relatively new hotel with exceptional service from all staff from reception, room cleaning, airport shuttle and breakfast service. Room was very spacious with sitting area. Bed was very comfortable and choice of pillows. Good assortment of amenities in the bathroom. Everything spotless. Breakfast was most exceptional. The assortment was awesome — waffles, bacon, eggs, hash browns, omelets on demand, toast, pastries, juices and hot drinks. There is a 24/7 shuttle service which was great as we arrived after 11:00, drivers were helpful and friendly.

The best part was Joseph, the shuttle driver. I arrived exhausted, late in the day, and had to return my rental car. He was kind enough to give me a personal escort, and then picked me up to return to the hotel. We stayed here because it is right next to the airport, and we had a 6 AM flight back to the states. For this purpose, this hotel is ideal.

I wish I could say this place was awful to keep all others away and keep for myself! Alas I can't. We stayed for two nights in February of 2016. All of the staff were of good service. The rooms were comfortable. The included breakfast is the best we have encountered in our travels. The hotel sits on the north-east corner of Calgary so access to everywhere is straight forward. Though the airport is close there was no noise. The interior is wonderfully done for this class of hotel. There is a small pool, hot tub and waterslide available, but we did not partake. There is also a laundry room available. The breakfast is outstanding and includes omelet, bacon sausage as well as all the other usual items. Highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast is great! The pool was lots of fun. Not that we didn't like the pool but for small children the slide is fast and closed in, in case you are going just for that. But the big kids (aka my husband) loved it.

Carmela Hutchison I am a wheelchair user who has visited my friend, also a wheelchair user, when she stays here for local events. We enjoy the restaurant and find it a disability friendly location for dining and visiting. The service staff are kind and excellent. My husband is my caregiver so we have no family/unisex was room but it wasn't awkward to duck into the ladies room in the lobby. I have been up to my friend's hotel room and do find her hotel suite quite tight in terms of good barrier free access. But she is quadriplegic and travels with a caregiver as well and she stays regularly. So price point, staff, bathroom layout or other factors may be deciding ones. But the hotel is nice and the people are great. I have not seen the rooms bathrooms and they have high beds and are cramped, but the dining area is lovely and staff are efficient and kind. The whole hotel is clean tidy orderly and we'll maintained with a welcoming contemporary decor in neutral relaxing tones.

A wonderful, top of the line hotel! Enjoyed our visit! This hotel certainly lives up to the Best Western name! Although we were there on a business trip, we turned it into a family getaway that everyone enjoyed, including the use of the pool, water slide and hot tub, and especially an incredible breakfast! The staff were all super friendly!

This was great, clean room. The decor was new in looks. The staff was very accommodating as we had to check in early (skiing injury) We ate at the restaurant. That night and it was delicious. The breakfast buffet was good. They do freshly made omelets as well. Very accessible to the airport.

We chose this Best Western because we have stayed there before and have always enjoyed our stays — this time was no exception. I was able to connect with the hotel days before to confirm an early check in — as it turned out, we were a bit later than we thought we would be! Having a later check out time was lovely as well, although having to pay $20 per hour after noon is a bit over the top… but being able to splash and soak in the pools made it worthwhile!

Was a great place to stay! Stayed for a layover for a trip to Cancun. Close to the airport. I stayed here with best western points, so was free then got my room upgraded to one with a couch area with a fireplace because I am a platinum member. Have been one for years stayed at many different BW's never been upgraded! The lounge had great food. And the free breakfast was great. Will and have recommended this place already!

A group of us were delayed in Houston and therefor missed a connecting flight. We came to this hotel all tired and frustrated. The staff turned our experience from bad to excellent. We were greeted with a "happy hour" and friendly faces, the rooms were comforting and the breakfast great.

This hotel is amazing! I can't believe it is a 3-star. I would have thought that it is at least 4-star. But note that you do have to pay a premium for the level of service you get (nothing is free). Breakfast — The fresh-cooked omelet by a super-friendly staff is just incredible! Bacons, hams, shrimps, with a variety of veges. Freshly cut strawberries (which are quite expensive btw). This breakfast bar is almost unbeatable by any other I have been to. Rooms — The rooms are really really beautiful. Love it. I should decorate my own home in the same way. Gym and Pool — Big generous gym. Beautiful indoor pool with a crazy 3-storey tall water slide. You can't swim laps as the pool is too small. Hot pool (jacuzzi pool, spa pool? ) is great. Lobby area is beautiful with nice couches and a TV and convenient bathrooms. I believe this hotel is doing very well and I can totally see why. Highly recommended.

Spent 1 very comfortable night at Best Western Premier Freeport as we missed our onward connecting flight. We were exhausted after approx. 30 hours of travel from West Africa so really appreciated the super comfy bed! We enjoyed everything from the comfortable ride to and from the airport, friendly staff, delicious hamburger dinner with the best fries ever… to the plentiful breakfast buffet! Will definitely recommend to friends!

I travel quite a lot for business and stayed at this property on the recommendation of a work colleague. Virtually every aspect of the hotel exceeded my critical standards. I was initially concerned that my room was immediately adjacent to the elevator, but noise was completely insulated. The room was large and comfortable with all the amenities I could desire. Bed and linens were wonderful. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went beyond standard service to ensure that I had a taxi ready for me in the mornings and breakfast box available for my early departure. The restaurant is quite good, and the included breakfast was great (even offering an omelet station). Only complaints are that the HVAC system in my room was difficult to control and was loud and windy right next to the bed, and the fitness room was far to warm. I would definitely return and will look for BW-Premier properties in the future.

Manager came to room to try to fix problem with device using Wi-Fi. Really helpful. Problem was with device, not Wi-Fi. All employees superb. Outstanding property. Re-booked for another visit.

Great if you need a place to stay north of the airport. Great new hotel with a bar and full dinner service. An included hot breakfast with made to order omelets was great. Lots of selection. Comfortable rooms with pillow top mattress. Friendly staff. The Wi-Fi was the best I’ve ever seen with great speeds. No airport noise despite being able to see the planes land. A waterslide at the pool would be great for this kids and an extensive workout area. All good to stay here and easy access from the highway.

Awesome. Shuttle driver shook my hand, introduced himself and wishes me a great stay. What an awesome experience right from the start. Two nights. Great room. Clean. Awesome staff from shuttle driver, to front desk to bar and kitchen staff. Lost my wedding ring (or so I thought) and they literally turned my room upside down looking for it. Found it, thank goodness in my laptop. But everyone for the duration of my stay asked if I found it and we're all relieved for me.  This hotel is second to none and well worth the stay. Shuttle to and from airport. Breakfast included. Great Wi-Fi for work. Good bar and restaurant with a select menu. What more does anyone want.  Definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.

This is a beautiful new hotel that I would recommend to everyone. Great location and extremely clean. Thank you! Staff were absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Calgary. Very close to the airport and although it is out of the way a bit there is a free shuttle to the airport then you can hop on a bus to go downtown. Full hot breakfast was included and was delicious.

Good big rooms, right by the airport, good varied breakfast. We were extremely satisfied, landed with a small boy after a long day and it was fine to come into place before we drove out.

We had a fantastic stay at the BW Freeport this weekend. The staff was very friendly, the room was amazing and we loved the pool. Oh and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have had! Thank you kindly for the late checkout which allowed us to spend some more time together as a family. Now that my husband is working in Calgary, I'm sure we will be back! Patricia at front desk contacted our car rental company and checked road conditions for us on check out. She was most helpful and pleasant.

This hotel was beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was the best one I have ever had at any hotel. They made omlettes to order, and still had other hot items to choose from. The rooms were very nice, and the bathrooms were high quality. There isn't much of a view but this hotel is perfectly located between cross iron mills mall, and the Calgary Airport.
