The Melia Grand Hermitage was simply the best ~ one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in ~ so clean, so vast, excellent staff, great variety of food, vibrant lush grounds, the amenities, the spa, the pools, the beach & beach bar, huge spacious rooms with amazing views, the entertainment at night, The animation team, They we’re great. Very attentive with the kids and had many Fun activities. I want to greet and congratulate them one more time. I have never been my boy having so much fun and being so exited about the kids program. The animation team of Melia are awesome. I simply can’t wait to go back! Melia Grand Hermitage you had it ALL!

It is crowded and very noisy.
No choice at breakfast, food always cold. Meat dry and strangely seasoned. No chance of lying down. Especially on the beach. No water in the room, just a carafe where you should get your own water. Overall very poor service. Didn't deserve 5 stars.

The hotel, the rooms, the common areas, the restaurant, the playground and the swimming pool are very clean.
Large rooms and very strict daily cleaning.
Very diverse and very tasty food!
Beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas, with free bar until 16:00 (here you could work for the bar to be open until 18:30).
Water slides a real delight for children.
If you solve the problem with reserving sunbeds by the pool and on the beach, it would be great!

If the animation team stays the same, I will return with the family next year and this time clearly for at least 10 days!

Our holiday was good, we liked the room, very specious and clean. The food was really good and for all tastes. Unfortunately, Melià has a big problem in my opinion with maintaining measures against infection with covid-19. In the dining room tourists had at their disposal masks and desinfectant but they don’t use them! The staff should be much stricter with these things which in my opinion are very important in this period of time and force tourist to wear masks EVERYWHERE INDOORS.

Ideally placed to get to the center.
Spacious swimming pool with a small aquapark. And an all inclusive formula very well supplied.

Great Hotel. Just the food is too bad for a 5 Star Hotel. The Level Restaurant where we have paied extra has always cold food, not fresh and too greasy. People do not respect Corona rules, don t keep distance, a lot do not gloves and touch all food. Shout at you if you ask them to complete rules. Noone from the hotel to tell guests how to behave… : — ( ( (

Had a wonderful varcation here. I will gladly come back! I strongly recommend being a level guest if there’s possibility, the level section restaurants, pool area and rooms are wonderful. Also; don’t miss taking a massage in the SPA. I loved everything about this trip. Thank you Meliá, we will be back!

All of the staff were all very nice and happy the rooms were really good and very clean and tidy. There was a great view from the balcony and the food was very impressive. Tamara age 9. I enjoyed my stay at the Melià Grand Hermitage.

Excellent! Spacious room and very comfortable, suitable for family with kids, big bathroom, minibar, everything ok. Kids very much enjoyed the aqua park facilities (included), we appreciated as well the indoor pool as the weather was not always sunny. Very good restaurants and food options on the pools area. Disadvantage: the hotel does not have sunbeds on the beach, only in the swimming pool area. Sunbeds & umbrella on the beach are available on additional cost. The ice cream in The Level restaurant was horrible — the cheapest and most unhealthy one, that should be immediately removed from a 5 stars hotel menu! Anyway, good ice cream was available in the main restaurant as well as in the swimming pools area.

Great service, crazy water slides. There is lots of activities whole day around swimming pool and at theatre. Very nice place for family to stay. Hotel is on the edge of nice beach and it has great view addition very busy and nice restaurant on the front road. Hotel also have many restaurants inside it so you always have option to select taste and time. Hotel have many bars, SPA, fitness, massage and kids section.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in the food is absolutely terrible I found a maggot/caterpillar in my food to which the staff found highly amusing. We’ve eaten out every night since. The room which was apparently cleaned and we waited three hours for had shitty toilet roll on the floor, and if your any colour other then white you will be starred at throughout your stay as I personally have endured! The cleaning manager is the rudest person I’ve met asks questions in English then talks to staff in Bulgarian in front of you god knows what she’s said! The plates are left stack up on your table whilst all the Russian guest get their tables clean ASAP. Never been bought a drink by staff after five days! Just finished speaking to other English guests who all have the same thing to say. Unless you’re from a shit hole you won’t like this place it’s full of rude Russians who will push past you at any opportunity! Oh and I have pictures to prove the points I’m making but I bet the manager who is also so rude we didn’t bother going to meet to sort out the situation will deny. Not five stars barely 3 stars I think management should take a trip to Cyprus to see how a hotel is really run!. The only people who do their job properly are the, you are the journey staff the life guard with long hair who sits by the level pool and a few bar staff. Beds not changed unless you ask. So much the list goes on and on and on.

A beautiful large hotel. All the staff were courteous but not very friendly. It is either a cultural difference or a barrier of the language. The "locals" (Bulgarian/Russian) were very much at home and thoroughly enjoying themselves, particularly the youngsters. The buffet style food is very much the norm for such hotels — canteen food — well cooked and plentiful. The Italian restaurant pizza is excellent!

Great room good bedding but very large complex with restaurants factory. Medium kitchen. Nevertheless remains in a good value for money.

Very nice hotel. The staff were always friendly. There was always something delicious about eating. The pool system on the outside as well as inside I can really recommend. I have nothing to complain about.

Good hotel, spacious room, clean, meals good and various infrastructures. Lacks a bit of tone in the activities, in particular in the evening — everything is dead at 22: 30. A little too impersonal, not want to stay in particular, to a table and a drink. For the children, all the infrastructures are there to spend good holidays in family. Close to shops, beach, restaurants, close to everything.

3 times, would say best facility with best value for money.

Very correct but it is better to go with an agency that has you set everything (Agency for a group or guide individually), otherwise scam.

Never 5 Serne not good food and especially the room card is stolen from the plasters.

A good experience, nice personnel, good housing conditions. Our 4 year old son, went crazy with the waterslides and the kid pool. During the evening, the hotel had theatrical shows for families, which was very nice. On the down side, the hotel has no private beach (but we new this when we went on vacation), and the food is the same. There is no change… during one week of stay, you’ll go nuts having no variety for food, like the resorts in Turkey. Overall, I recommend this hotel, to families with children.

Big bathroom and room, nice interior design, close to the beach and sea view. Qulity of food, drinks and restaurant staff is very bad.

From what I have seen probably the best location to stay at Golden Sands. Very close to the beach and promenade, but far enough from the actual party hotspots so they won't bother your sleep. The rooms were nice and clean, with some minor stains in the bathroom. Food all day, and there's something tasty in every Buffett, but lots of options tend to be very far, and sometimes cold. The pool area is nice. That whole thing about becoming a "level" guest kind of bothered me though, but I can't talk about the "level" areas.

A really bad vacation at all. Low quality room with a lot of flaws and broken things, the food more than bad that made us sick, nailed in the rooms… So many negative things to say but it would be too long…

An awesome hotel. Even though it is big and with a lot of guest in the high season, it doesn't seem crowded. The kids loved it and the adults got to relax. Only input to the hotel would to work a bit on the food. It was diverse, but bland to taste. I highly recommend the hotel!

Very helpful and friendly staff Very varied food over the days. A lot of people in the hotel but you always find room, you can easily find yourself in its little corner of tranquility. Slides great for the youngest. I'll be back!

Indoor pool warm 29C, chlorine 0, 3. Interesting area with slides and karting… The food is bad and it's in the top level. The products are not fresh, the range is poor!

Location is key and this property is steps from everything. And if you don't feel like leaving the property, that is fine also. This is a huge hotel that offers all-inclusive stays. The large pool is fun and energetic and the staff puts on a great show and leads all-ages activities throughout the day. The surrounding property includes water slides, archery, and other fun activities. The beach is only steps from the property and the view from the rooms are fantastic. This is a great destination for couples or families.

We were at the level, last August 2015 have more personal treatment when checking in personally and without waiting, you have the coffee lounge exclusive to the level customers, well the deal was phenomenal, but to be a Melia I did not like both the food, I know other Melia and it wasn't the usual thing about a Melia buffet.

Not 5 star worthy. I know not where to start the staff is very indifferent to rude, we had to get us basically myself drinks whether's morning coffee or evening of wine was, the cleaning staff came daily in the great room only cleaned was not always. The drinks in the minibar were charged extra, throughout, there were drinks only in plastic cups. At the end of our holiday, there was a big celebration (wedding? ) in the plant we were quartered for lunch to what is normally not a problem, only there were not enough crockery got sodas some guests plastic tableware and cutlery. Also even a fair which many suits in the plant were held. Something positive to the end the food was very good and varied, the wellness super but it is clear to us: sorry but this hotel we will not even charge.

Melia Grand Hermitage Hotel was my first vacation and I'm currently sitting in the lobby and writing this review prior to flying back home. At arrival, along with the PRESTIGE tour company, the staff and the check in counter were incredibly friendly and unusually pleasant. The lobby was shiny clean and beautifully designed. My room on the second floor was amazing. A huge, comfortable bed, along with a balcony, sadly facing the enterance to the hotel, apperantly the beautiful panorama of the black sea would be at additional charge. An excellent bathroom, containing an enourmous shower and a fine bath, unfortunately not large enough for two. Very nice gadget at the bathroom, when turning on the TV on any channel, you can turn on a speaker inside the bathroom and listen to music while showering, which was pretty nice. The staff, indeed do everything to make your stay better. You would never pass through a hotel staff, if it is a reception woman, an entertainment person with nothing but an ear to ear smile. The hotel sits right above the Golden Sands esplanade, that has a variety of restaurants, from chinese (which, does not have teriaky sauce, how shamefull) to traditional Bulgarian dishes. By the way, I recommend the garlic bread, it wouldn't dissapoint you. There are two pools, an indoor one and an outdoor, which unfortunatelly was a bit cold on our journey.

Hotel. Food on main. Dinner until 21.0000! People often enjoy half board olinklûziv, besides the bar of course. Wi-Fi works perfectly in rooms and lobby, poolside and bad. Table tennis in Prime with konderom. It features a Hairdresser, laundry, shop of Bulgarian cosmetics shop products. Hotel is great, the people very much. Poolside live two pairs of albatrosses.

Hotel Nice, neat. Rooms clean on the conscience. Food good, delicious. Staff smiling, welcoming the only cons.
1. Not enough sun beds at the poolside (vacationers take up early in the morning)
2. Does not have its own beach. (8lev, sun beds, umbrella) but the sea wonderful, sand miracle.

Horrible experience! The stuff stole our IPhone from our room! My husband left his IPhone it in the room to charge it and when we came back from the spa the phone was missing. We have addressed the security but they were unhelpful, they showed us images from the hallway camera after 3 hours and they pretended nobody entered in our room. The images showed the cleaning lady entering in one room in the area but those images were unclear. Now we have to press charges at the police but we need a translator. Nobody from this 5 stars hotel didn't apologize for the inconvenience, they were very rude and unhelpful. We will NEVER EVER stay in this hotel and we recomand you not to stay here.

We rested in the Meliá in June 2012 year. We all really liked it. It seems to me that all envy the mood with which everyone goes on vacation. Rooms at the chic, is cleaned efficiently. The food is good, but nothing unusual, delicious pastry, lots of fruit. Animation for children (2, 8 and 4, 8 years) very much, they fled with pleasure in the evenings by the pool having fun with animators, young people with children communicate very positively charge a good mood. The beach is not far away. There is a swimming pool and indoor and outdoor. Recommend not capricious and not harmful) ) ) for a quiet family holiday with children.

Five star farm! 1. The hotel car Park is small and not enough for all plus if enough, then 200 times a day. 2. The queue at the reception always. 3. The Bathrobe is not included in the price (for dopopulate 500 p a day! ) But the rooms are great and the view super.

Spent a whole week there! Hotel fulfills its 5 stars on all 5. No fault. The only thing is that there is no water in the bottle, but because of the cocks they have flowing mineral water, it is possible to survive. To the sea no more than 150 meters. Impressed by the free Wi-Fi. Based on conversations with the taxi driver on the Golden Sands of 2 most good hotel-Admiral and the Melia, but subjectively I would give preference to Neem due to geographical location. Admiral is still somehow really on the road. So if in doubt about this hotel do not hesitate! you will not regret.
