My stay at this hotel has been amazing. The rooms are large and clean. The layout of the room is a bit off. Once you come in the door, you will find yourself in the bathroom. The shower and toilet are in seperate rooms, but once you get out of the shower you will stand naked looking at the bed. The room is perfect for lovers, but not family and friends. The food in the buffet is good. Can sometimes be a bit boring, but generally good. The staff is great. We arrived the hotel at 02:00 am at night, expecting to have to wait for breakfast to get food, we were offered dinner in the restaurant. That is what i'll call top tier service! The only thing I would think as negative with this hotel is the placement. The hotel is placed on the top of the golden sands hills. It's approximately a 20-30 minute walk to the beach and shopping streets. The hotel offer transport to the beach by bus 3 times a day. I think it is a great idea, but the departure times is very inconvenient. For example. Lunch starts at 12:30. The bus leaves at 12:30. The latest bus to get back to the hotel leaves 17:30, wich means you can't enjoy the evening life of golden sands. The pool area is a chill and nice area located on the roof of the dininghall. There are sunbeds, a self-service bar, and the pool of course. Personally I think that the pool is insanely cold for being in a country like bulgaria. Being from northern Norway, knowing what really cold water feels like I can confirm this is pretty cold.
