I'm here for the Selena Star again. The hotel and restaurant is located in a fantastic location of Sozopol. Staff is friendly and very accommodating.
The good cuisine must also be mentioned. In short: All around 100 percent recommended.

A very convenient location-up to the beach a couple of minutes. We stay in a suite — kind of chic, its own terrace with 2 sunbeds. They clean well, they choose the time when we're not here. Of the minus-old TVs (virtually not one channel does not show normally. The Wi-Fi in our room works perfectly. In the bathroom there is a shower stall — in which only the shower watering can works.

Convenient location. It's 3 minutes to the sea on foot. Breakfasts are delicious. There is a lift to the beach.

The website photos of the accomodation are taken using a fish-eye lens making your bathroom appear much much bigger than reality. This accomodation, in my opinion, is over-priced.

Very good, clean hotel next to the sea. Delicious breakfasts. But water in pools is freezing, I don't want to swim in pool, because sea is hotter.

The main plus of the hotel in its good location.

This is my favorite place in Sozopol. Always friendly and helpful. The bar staff are amazing. The bar menu for drinks and snacks are great and reasonably priced. The outdoor and indoor pools are nice, they also have a baby pool. They have a games room, casino, restaurant, kids club, steam room, sauna, solarium, gym, hair salon and beauty treatments are available. The views are wonderful and they have a nice garden leading to the beach with a small play ground. The location is excellent. Five stars.

Nice place, close to the, but as for 4 star hotel rooms should have higher standard.

At the hotel selena it is beautiful it is family food tastes very good the chef petja tries to fulfill every wish room spacious is all in it you need the only few waiters could be more prudent

Very good, clean hotel next to the sea. Delicious breakfasts. But water in pools is freezing, I don't want to swim in pool, because sea is hotter.

Loved it. Amazing, warm and kind hosts. An absolute must. Needs a translator present though!

The best thing about this hotel is its location. The sea is 3 minutes by elevator. However, if it is August and the sea turns into a green swamp, you can not go down to it. There is a swimming pool for adults (water cooler than sea), indoor pool, children's pool, Jacuzzi. The territory of the hotel is tiered. Upper tier-lobby (tables, highchairs, you can always order something from the bar), the next tier-terrace restaurant (very nice to eat in the fresh air), under the terrace-swimming pool, and even lower-green lawn (grass, trees, if there is not enough space Swimming pool, you can sunbathe here).
The room I had, apparently, single, the place is quite enough. However, there was no balcony. Strong air conditioner saves in the heat. There is one channel. There is Wi-Fi. The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. That's why we didn't bother each other. Bed linen was changed twice a week. Towels-every day, but a couple of times brought terribly smelly (I do not know how they washed them). Shampoo and shower gel I did not bring any once, however, I did not shake the right. As soon as the first hotel set ended, bought in the store what is used to.
Breakfasts are usual: buckwheat porridge, omelette, cereals, meat and cheese slicing, vegetables, fruits, yogurt, coffee, tea, milk. Dinner is more varied, but the fish did not see once. That's why I took veal. Wonderful!
Oh, I almost forgot! There is no safe in the room.

The food was very good and the breakfast was great. There are many corridors in which it is easy to get confused. Mirrors weigh at the breast level (~ 150 cm). The air conditioning is only available in the suite (as far as I understand). Sockets in uncomfortable places. In three local rooms 2 decent beds and a chair-bed. Towels and gel with shampoo are there. The TV program has the first channel, all other foreign (BBC (in English), Eurosport (in German), Euronews (in English), another-two sports channels in Bulgarian and channels in other languages. There is a balcony and a dryer. There is also a wardrobe, two lamps and Refrigerator. The overall impression of the hotel is twofold: something nice and something bad (roughly equal proportions). At night music often plays and prevents to fall asleep (usually rock).

It only good is the attention of the staff.

Perfect location, good breakfast, nice pool, everything very clean and tidy.
Guests predominantly Eastern European, but only families and couples, all nice people, from ball-man tourism in Sozopol is generally nothing to feel at all.
A great place for a relaxing holiday.
We have been to Sozopol for the second time and the Villa list is undoubtedly the best choice on the spot.

Had the best holiday for a long time. Food was wonderful and the staff couldn't do enough to help. Good views from room 404 and very clean. I love staying at the Selena and look forward to next year.

You may have to 'fight' for a "seaview" room where you can actually see the sea and not the pool. They tend to give you worse room than you paid for. Try to get a room on a higher floor. Breakfast is the same for the whole week and it is just eatable. Don't go for All inclusive — there are plenty and plenty of big and small cafes and restaurants by the sea with a descent local dishes. Room service is OK, especially when you leave tips. Overall level of English is also OK.

The hotel is on the seafront, not far from the central square, in the middle between the old town and the new one. Near the Bank, drugstore, grocery store. And full of cafes around. Breakfast variety, buffet. About lunches and dinners I cannot say anything. All rooms have Wi-Fi. Advice to all — take a sea view room and ask 4 floor. There's cool and so nice to sit on the balcony, looking at the sea. Good luck to all and have a good rest!

Service is horrible. Tonight we wanted to eat, so I had to go for doširakom. The hotel has no hot water. Had to go to a neighboring and BREW tramp package there.
