Very comfortable room, pleasant atmosphere in the bar and pool area. Excellent breakfast with a variety of food, and beautiful dining room. The only bad thing was that the spa did not reserve hours, and I spent more than 45 minutes waiting to be taken care of, and finally the manager notifies me that the client who was inside decided to extend their attention until closing hours. I wasted time that I could have spent enjoying myself with my family.

Great service from the moment we checked in to when we checked out. The staff at the front desk were very courteous and very helpful and would go the extra mile in trying to resolve an issue we were having with an outside vendor. Our room was clean and spacious and breakfast was delicious and abundant. Very pleased and will recommend.

Good hotel and service, the breakfast buffet very good and varied, you can spend a pretty good time in the pool bar… The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable although the air conditioning equipment in the room is very noisy. Overall good.

The staff were very friendly and friendly. In high season (January-February) is usually complete, and for the breakfast buffet, very good, you have to expect a row quite large from 9:30 in the morning. Spacious rooms, beautiful pool, and a very good location. Totally recommended to go with family, couple and tourism.

The only thing that is bad, bad is the toilet. Under the beds there was so much dust and fluff that did not correspond to a hotel of this class. Nor did they clean the surfaces, only those that were at hand. The attitude of the person who made the toilet on our floor (17) was like I was obliged to be there, not greeted or his attitude was nice, I greeted twice and did not respond and the third did so reluctantly. The beds were very poor and the bed was very nice and comfortable. This is the only bad thing about this hotel. There goes the picture from under one of the beds.

Amazing service… amazing atmosphere and conveniently close to the beach… the only issue I had was that it was crowded but on the plus side, it's a reassurance that the Royal Rio Palace Hotel is a great hotel.

We just had to stop in for directions to another location in the city, but they were above and beyond courteous and helpful, which is why I rate them so highly. They certainly didn't need to be as we weren't paying costumers, but there it is. Of course, it is unwise to judge on a sample size of one, but that is why you should aggregate as many scores and reviews as possible to decide for yourself if it is worthwhile.

Very nice place, located two blocks from the beach and with pool on the 18th floor that gives an excellent panoramic view. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

The hotel has all the potential to be an excellent 4 star, but the beds were worn, the sheets and pillows were old, there was humidity in the bathrooms, the pool chairs were unpainted and in some cases broken, the tables and chairs in the pool were Gifted from a beer company and they were still a bit broken. In the gym, the machines needed maintenance and some would have to be changed. It shows that the owners do not want to invest in something better, that's why the cost of the hotel is low…
However, we rescued the predisposition of some of the staff (grooms and cleaning people), the food is very good, both breakfast and dinner, which have very good quality.
Summary, the hotel serves little, ie sleep, wake up, breakfast and go… and go back to take a quick shower and sleep…

Good, cost effective hotel but bedding could be better. Staff are uneven and the breakfast is nice, I just wish matrasses could be less hard. Some handling of requests was a bit sloppy, such as promising a call back and not calling back, or indicating they will change my room upon request because of noise and then when I called back they said the noise was fixed and they won't change the room anymore. The room is still loud. I had packed everything again and it was for nothing. Really annoying when they give contradictory information. Not even an apology.

The room is fine, clean and with enough space, the bathroom is good and clean. The only problem is that the air conditioner makes a little bit of noise but nothing that bother too much. The breakfast is awesome, a lot of options and wonderful food.

Good hotel, great location. In general good, services, breakfast, etc. The Wi-Fi gave me quite a few problems. In my opinion it has things to improve to be a 4 star.

This is not a four star hotel. The rooms were not clean, the a/c was noisy, the food was mediocre and what is worse, I saw a cockroach on the dining room floor while having breakfast during the second day. What is worse, the hotel staff didn't even apologize for this. Stay somewhere else.

Very well located! Comfortable room and excellent bathroom had sauna and whirlpool! Excellent breakfast and the swimming pool, gym and sauna wet on the terrace.

The hotel is not bad, quite old, but enought to sleep (at least at higher floor rooms, because near the street the noise is anoying). The personel is nice and polite, and the breakfast is very good.

To sleep OK. Right in the Centre. 10 min. To the beach. Bit noisy in the hotel.
