➜ This is a really nice hostel, especially thanks to the Professor who is a truly extraordinary person. He is always there to help, he also helped us find a transfer even though we had already left the hostel, which really shows his involvement with the people he is hosting.
I only remove the stars for the quality of the mattresses and the condition of the bathroom (which is mainly due to the guests and not to the Professor), which is still a point not to be neglected for an inn.
Breakfast is simple but we are having a good time with everyone.
I really recommend it to Barreirinhas for backpackers.
➜ I went there in 2014 on a 6-month trip to South America, and I think it's still one of my best pousada experiences. Rodolpho aKa "The professor" is a wonderfull guy, speaking all languages, you will find warm and friendly welcoming there, no doubt. And if you don't like Batman, Vagalume will keep an eye on the business for you :) Want to visit Lencois Marhenense? Go to Barreirinhas, Casa del Professor, and I swear you won't be disappointed! And remember: Vagalume Rules!
