The location is very good. With lots of restaurants close by and just a short way to walk to the city centre, but the hotel is starting to by a bit "old". Maybe time to do some renovation. The balconies was nice with a good view over the harbour, but the bathroom was a bit tired and it was not clean good when we arrived. The mirror covered from toothpaste from earlier guest's. The owners was very nice and very helpful when you needed help. (If they where there, since most often the where other staff that didn't understand one single word of English) The breakfast was according to our expectation not what we where hoping for. Not much selection, but the view again from the terrace was wonderful. Do you want to stay in a old colonion house in Salvador in the middle of the town this maybe is the correct place, but you may find lots of better places in Salvador.
