Very poor quality for a Novotel hotel. The staff isn't the friendliest but you can get past that. The service is bad and ignores your requests, while the hotel rooms are a whole other story. -questionable stains on the walls -dirty uncleaned carpets -clogged and smelly sinks -no trash bins in the toilets (?! ) -bad Wi-Fi connection The room was too small for a family and the placement of the parking space is a bit weird and uncomfortable. Wouldn't recommend.

The place is not clean. Stayed for three nights and got frustrated from the allergy I got there. Staff attitude is awful. Parking when I reached was full. Thus I parked in nearby location for €35 a day. Kids Zone is very small. Location is good. The maximum rate I give this hotel is 3 star hotel. Will never stay in it again.

The toilet walls were soiled of faeces and no wash stand in the same room. Really disgusting. The personnel were nice though and the the breakfast really tasty. Nice calm area with restaurants around the corner.

Spacious rooms and very friendly staff. Hotel is ideally located near a metro station and the whole neighborhood was very quiet. Breakfast was very well equipped and had almost everything you could ask.

A hotel in a central location with some upscale facilities. Easy access to the subway station. The hotel's car park is a bit off the street. I think the value for money is a bit too high.

Friendly staff. Rooms can be better arranged. Mini bar had no power so everything was warm.

Nice hotel in a good location. Rooms are large enough with large TV on the wall. At the breakfast buffet you can find some things so that there is something for everyone. Fitness room is OK for cardio, but unfortunately it lacks a few useful power machines. View is but top of the studio. Sauna area is good.

Located in the heart of Vienna within walking distance from most of the city has to offer. Close to the hotel the river and parks with walking trails is fantastic. The hotels are comfy and well designed. The breakfast is rich with options. Staff is friendly as well. All in all — great venue and great place. Highly reccomended.

The employee were so kind. One of the staff named Majeda is an Egyptian employee and was very kind and helps the Arab guests.

Proper hotel, centrally located. Nothing fancy, but spacious rooms, a good shower, and decent buffet breakfast. Small bar offering drinks at night. Didn't check the fitness.

The two girls at the reception are lovely, pleasant and helpful. We requested a late check out and was granted a 2 pm check out. We got back at the hotel at 1:45 pm. The room key didn't work. We went to the reception, the man name "Kevin E" was extremely unpleasant and told us that the latest check out was 1 pm and we needed to pay 29 euros for it. When I explained, he claimed that it Was a misunderstanding with the hint that we didn't understand the situation. When we picked up the luggage, checked out and paid, he didn't say one single thank you or so ever. This is the most unfriendly hotel we ever encountered in Europe and we will not stay at Novotel again.

Nice Hotel although the Bar Staff had a bit of an attitude almost as if you were imposing on them. The rest of the staff were great.

Didn't stay there as it's quite expensive but went there for a drink in the evenings as it was close to our hotel. Very nice inside.

Modern Hotel typical chain hotel. Service is professional but impersonal. The Buffet breakfast has little variety but what they have is good. 0

Hotel very well located, room (family room) of size O. K. — Breakfast room too small for the many guests — had to wait 20min on table. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast costs €16 per person — not exactly cheap — children don't cost anything… Parking garage €22 per night — around the corner is about 200m away and is also well-used with a larger car!

The hotel is outside the city centre which is easily accessible in at most 15 minutes. The restaurant is catastrophic in its organization, we had to wait 1h20 to be served between two dishes. The first dishes were not removed, the order served was not the one ordered. Two very young employees were in the service, totally lost. No follow-up, no reflex.
The next day breakfast confirmed the bad impression of the diner, with a long queue. In the end more products in the bins, everything very neglected, see dirty, without ever sometimes being réaprovisionné.
The catering part seems not to be related to the hospitality part which was satisfactory in quality, however very disappointing for a complete Novotel service and for Austria.

Friendly staff. Efficiently run. Clean and well apportioned rooms. Good breakfast. Also the meeting rooms which are on the top floor are very good too.

A good and modern Novotel. Well located in the center of Vienna. To be noted is the very good restaurant 5 senses located in the hotel. Very fine and thought through dishes, with a modern cuisine touch. Definitely worth to go! I wish all Novotels had such a qualitative restaurant!

Central position, clean and quiet rooms, fast elevators. Only 2.0 m high parking clearance, but one can find very close Uniqa 2.1 m high clearance (i have VW Tiguan + roof luggage box and needed that 2.1m) Otherwise nice place.

The room was nice and well taken care of. The staff were very helpful The location is great to visit on foot (or by public transport) the city. Only drawback: They don't know how to make an Italian espresso.

Very good hotel, friendly staff. Not too big but clean and nicely decorated rooms. Quiet and yet conveniently located.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children (3y and 1y) in November 2016. We then upgrade to family room, with one double bed and one sofa bed. Both bed were good, but the room itself was quite small so we didn't have space to put our luggage. Clothes closet was small too, there was barely enough room for the winter jackets. The room was modern, look exactly like the picture on the website, and the cleaning lady does her job really good. The receptionist was really nice and helped us with our needs. The city center and U Bahn Stations are within walking distance, restaurants are around the corner.

The hotel is new, well located, few minutes walking of the city centre. Also there is a subway station pretty close (Nestroyplatz).
The room is small, but very good and neat. The breakfast is ok, nothing special, and the saloon is small.
The staff is very kind, helpful and friendly.
We stayed 4 days and liked pretty much.

Hard Bedding
Good cleanliness of the room. Not far from the city centre, close to the metro, restaurant nearby. The Wi-Fi works very poorly.

This review refers to a double room for wheelchair users on the first floor: the rooms were large enough, the bathroom was well suited for wheelchairs (walk-in shower, several handles, easy-to-use faucet, emergency call etc. ). However, there was a lack of a cupboard, as except for a short coat rack, only the writing drawers were offered. This was very impractical, you don't want to live out of your suitcase all the time in a 4-star hotel. The bed was too small, two people just fit in. A real double bed looks different. The ceiling seems to have been from a single bed anyway… All in all: Fits already, the location is of course for the price M. E. Very good. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for a 1 night stay while on business travel. Was on my own, and the reception staff recommended the Italian restaurant around the corner plus some ideas of where to go for a safe walk by myself. Great location and nice comfy clean hotel. Downside is paper cups in the room for coffee/tea.

Couldn't sleep well, very noisy… Not conscience — it's at district 2… Price not comparable with your experience. Room not clean either, found nails on carpets and hair on bed sheet — seriously!

Great Executive-Family room on the top floor with terrace and view over the city! Just 2 minutes walk from subway station and 10 minutes walk from Vienna downtown! Professional and pleasant staff! Great choice!

Sound insulation not so well otherwise all top! Underground parking very expensive, but unfortunately so common in Vienna (City Centre).

Location very good, even on foot in 15 minutes to St. Stephen's Cathedral.

One thing is certain – this is not a 4-stars hotel or this standard has no meaning whatsoever. OK, the reception area and restaurant are relatively nice, but the rooms are terrible. We had one of the dirtiest carpets we have ever seen in any hotel. The shower area was not so clean either. We found a bug and lot of hairs in our bed on the first day (we have photos of all these) and this was supposed to be a 4-stars hotel. This is not fair for other 4-stars hotels. This hotel is a disgrace for the industry standard and only gives a bad name to other good 4-stars hotel. BTW, I asked someone at the reception desk if I can have extra coffee milk. The person said he would bring to our room, but he never did. We have never received any explanation or apologies! I consider this 'no-care' attitude as tantamount to rudeness and unprofessionalism for the service part too.

Great value for the money so close to shopping and attractions in Vienna.

Stay from 13 to 15/07/2012 — room 806 with balcony (we unfortunately couldn't take advantage because of the weather) — Excellent value (to Vienna), location relatively correct not far from a City Bike Wien across the Aspernbrücke, most excellent reception point (we arrived at 1 in the morning), pack of comprehensive home with detailed maps of Vienna, access parking quite complex with a rate very very high (€21 / day! ), excellent breakfast served from 7:30 to 13: 00 weekend (you read), scrambled eggs (message management, thank you for thinking that some people may be allergic to peppers, please do not put in the eggs scrambled please), bacon, great selection of ham, salmon smoked, nutella, cereals, coffee, tea, chocolate, growing (excellent fresh), great selection of cakes portion, fruit, jams, orange juice (2 kinds, fresh and pasteurized), no components but only blackout and blinds Venetian electric, WC semi curtains separated (block shower + WC), free Wi — Fi in the room (measured speed slow however ca. 2mbits/s).

Great Hotel, it's perfect: Clean, great rooms, great bathrooms, W-Lan in room, great location (close to everything).

Central and positive: The proximity to the underground from where to go fast anywhere.
Who wants separate shower and WC: okay. I think it's not great. The shower is nice, but practically, the soil is always wet.
TV is very small and the institution has been a flat "chipboard"-style, which is not an on the marketing photos (good for the hotel).
The breakfast is made with love, the buffet is just as beautiful kitchen in a at home and is very clean. I've never booked the hotel experienced and business-friendly: even during trade fair periods there are reasonable prices.
For 10 or 20 euros more outside of trade fair times (! ), but certainly significant alternatives can be found as a business traveler.

Still much closer to the city and if necessary Good courses: Hilton am Stadtpark
Bottom line: Who maximum in this category travel and places much value on the room: pretty okay.
Who must travel a lot and also the rooms something at home would like to feel, should clearly examine alternatives, and will find surely something else :-).
