We had a very pleasant stay at the Wolf-Dietrich. The room was clean and comfortable, and having a kettle and fridge was good. (We have found that not all Austrian hotels provide this facility. ) The breakfast was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. As well, the location in the Old Town was very convenient for sightseeing and the train station.

Lovely room with view of the church cupola. Helpful staff. Comfy beds. Delicious breakfast. Wonderful location. Only surprised at no air conditioning and room was overly warm. Perhaps usual for Salzburg.

Lovely room. Not too far to walk to city center. Very helpful personnel. Breakfast was very nice. Hit a hot spell and air in room was soooo welcome! Would definitely recommend and go again!

Enjoyed our stay in this nice, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The location is great and within walking distance to a lot of shopping, food or drink and local attractions. Parking is off site but at a discount rate and easy to load/unload at hotel and short walk to off site garage. Breakfast was good, did not have any drinks at the lobby bar. Would recommend for a decent, affordable, good location hotel within Salzburg.

Delicious breakfast, great location in the city, staff were wonderful and helpful. My kids loved the hotel so much, they wanted to stay! It was modern with charm. They had a pool and spa that was very nice. I brought my 4 children from the US and my parents with my husband and I. My parents wanted a cab since they were older and couldn’t walk as much as us so the hotel got them a limo to go to dinner and the casino. That was the highlight of my parents trip. The location was great for my family. We just walked out the door and went to all the great tourist attractions and water play areas for our kids. Loved the breakfast and apples throughout the day. My favorite was waking up to the town church bells every morning and then opening my window to the beautiful building and flowers.

Clean, great location, but only a seating in a double room. More 3 — as a 4-star hotel and quite expensive.

We found the rooms to be spacious, clean and well equipped. We especially liked that we could open the windows. Everything functioned well. Breakfast was excellent — although the coffee could vary from day to day. Location excellent — close to everything but in a quiet location. Would highly recommend.

The hotel has a perfect location, the car park is 50 metres away.
Breakfast is very adequate.
We did not use the spa.

Cleanliness OK, bathroom size of first room faulted, immediately received another room, in the first one would not have been possible showers. Shower cubicle 60 × 60. Breakfast is moderate. Intrusive space distribution.

Nice rooms in quiet location. Very friendly staff and a really tasty breakfast. We would come here again.

Central location, easy to reach by foot from the train station and the old town is also within walking distance.

The only thing "missing" is a gym with a few gadgets, but that doesn't even want everyone.

I like the hotel's central location and the fact that it has a swimming pool. I was disappointed that the hotel discontinued its afternoon tea and cakes, as that made the place much more cozy. Also it would be nice if there were a bigger table, so it would be easier to work on my laptop. Now the price was rather cheap, but I see that next month it will be around double.

Room reserved in the Hotel 4 * * * * According to the beautiful pictures. Unfortunately the room assigned was in the residence outside the hotel without SPA and a quality of comfort below 3 * * *, but with the same price!.
Not very cooperative staff.
So watch out! If you book in this hotel, the room in the residence is to avoid under penalty of bad surprise!

We loved our three night stay here. Yes, some of the furniture is dated but that adds to the character. The prosecco breakfast buffet was fantastic. Most times we had the modern spa and pool to ourselves. Attached view from our room was lovely, especially when it snowed. Bliss!

Great location to visit the city, nice and functional spa, friendly and helpful staff, the double small room is really basic the only flaw the bed a little too soft for my liking.

The staff were extremely helpful and good natured. The hotel was authentic with an old world feel but the rooms were small.

I had booked this Hotel in August for Dec. The Correspondence was very friendly compared to other Hotels and the Room Descriptions transparent and Confidence-inspiring. That gave the Rash for the Decision to book this rather than another Hotel, even if it was more expensive.
Expressive room wish, which was also confirmed, separate Beds and a spacious Room for as much as 4 Nights.
What a Disappointment on Arrival when we found an old and uncomfortable, small Room that was a real Imposition for €180n. When Asked At the Reception, it was said that the Confirmation had been sent by an Intern who was no longer there, and the Receptionist found herself unable to give us another Room. She comforted me on the next Day when the "Boss" was there. This gave other Rooms to Choose from and we changed, but still without getting a Room with separate Beds. This, the Boss said, was not possible until the next Day. On a 3rd Room in 4 Days we had no Desire, so I slept on the Sofa, which I consider to be an Imposition for the Price. Even this Room, although cosier and nicer, was old-fashioned and "dusty" — if you look at the pictures on the Internet, it's no Comparison at all. The professional Images feign Modernity and Comfort that we didn't see. I would never book this Hotel with such Machinations.
Ds breakfast was great and left nothing to Be desired.

Location very good Hotel Room (suite) excellent only flaw the TV did not work (no matter) I listened to music a great sound system. Very friendly Staff always ready for any problem. Thank you advice this HOTEL.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. The location was excellent — easy walking distance to all attractions and excellent restaurants in adjoining street. Our room in the annexe was a good size, clean and modern and well equipped. Good choice of food at breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Salzburg.

Family-friendly and quiet House in a central location in the Pedestrian Area with always very friendly Staff. Just a 10-Minute Walk opposite the overrun Old Town. Beautiful Rooms backwards with small Balcony (for Smokers) and views of an old Monastery courtyard and the Old Town, adequate and extensive breakfast buffet (albeit Scrambled Eggs cold, but very good coffee), Sanitary Area still with Tub instead of shower. Pleasant and extensive modern Spa Area with two Saunas, Infrared corner and Swimming Pool. Overall highly recommended.
Parking Five Minutes Away, either in Hotel's own Underground car Park or public TG. You can drive to the Entrance.
Very good Restaurant, the Hotel has no own) and Bars (e. G. Ital. Reserve Sabroson or good bourgeois Old Fox — better! ) around the Corner in Linz'S Alleyway in a few Minutes. There are also many small Interesting shops.

The spa area is in the basement and nicely laid out. The breakfast is delicious, the staff very friendly. Inquiries were processed promptly. The bed is comfortable, a second blanket was provided upon request. Recommended.

This was a fantastic place to stay. The children loved having some down time from traveling and relaxing in the pool area. The breakfast was great and catered for all four of our needs. This is in a perfect spot to explore Salzburg!

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was great. Lobby nice. Location fantastic. Only downside… our room was not as nice as what was pictured on the website. I'm not sure I actually got the "Superior Double Room" I had booked. But it was clean and we had a place to stay. I'd stay here again, but I'd book the simpler room, because that is what they will give me.

I stayed overnight during the month of June and I really had a nice time. The front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating especially as I needed to get something printed. The room I had was of considerable size but there were very few channels which offered the the English language. The breakfast was great and filling with a selection of cold meats/hot food/pastries/cereals etc. The area were the hotel was located was easy to get to using the bus from the airport and was not that far away from the main tourist sight seeing views.

It was a good place to stay and the room was nice and big. I think the biggest issue I had was taking a shower. There was only part of the shower that had a clear door and it was hard to try and turn around without getting water on the floor. I think that was a huge safety issue. I really liked the ac in the unit and it was an over all great experience. Breakfast had a nice variety and will be back again.

We had a great stay at the Wolf-Dietrich! Although it was pretty warm and there was no air conditioning in the room, they did have a fan which helped a little. But great service and good basic amenities. Very nice breakfast as well! I would definitely stay here again if ever back in Salzburg. Great location too!

I stayed for 4 nights in late June. Very good location for seeing Salzburg. I had a car — parking is a few blocks away, but easy to get in and out of town. The room was clean and functional. No air conditioning, but the fan worked and was remarkably quiet. Very nice breakfast buffet. A good reasonably priced stay.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. They made us feel at home. Breakfast was bountiful. We found time to also enjoy the spa. We would have liked to have had real coffee in the room. It was freeze dried coffee. We had to go downstairs to get coffee. It was a great location. It was convenient to everything. I would stay there again.

Was a last minute change for our holiday to stay here but we was glad of the move. Far better position as right in the center of the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was very fresh and tasty with a good selection. Perfect for a stay in Salzburg.
