Vintage atmosphere, good located! Great breakfast!

I spent two nights here while visiting Salzburg and highly recommend the hotel (I always eat on the run so cannot attest to the restaurant). Staff were friendly, helpful and patient. My room was exactly as described — tiny but clean and cozy.

I've never seen so much dirt and dust at once. Completely run-down house, dirty, messy and broken. The room dusty, in the closet you could not hang anything because it stank so. The shower unhygienic, full of mold. The garden unkempt, glasses, bottles and full ashtrays on the tables. The boss as unkempt as the house. He handed us the key in a dirty pants and T-shirt. Staff are untrained, helpless and unfriendly. Very simple breakfast — and for such a descent we had to pay 82€ per head. A naughty!

Cozy house with beautiful old furniture and christian artwork. Our room was nice and clean. Although the Wi-Fi was sometimes a little weak, but it was alright. But the best part I think was the incredible kindness and helpfulness of the owners and the staff, both at the hotel and the restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay here, and highly recommend this place.

Christliches Haus mit liebevoll gestalteten Frühstücksbüffet. Zimmer Schränke aus dem Mittelalter, was einen gewissen Charme verleiht. Bad tip-top und sauber.

Petite maison typique. Vous serez transporté dans le passé dans une ambiance typiquement Autrichienne. Chambre et salle de bain basique mais propre et confortable.

Heritage does not mean filthy & unkept sorrounding.

Room in good condition. Shared bathroom is very nicely arranged. The Pension is in Itself very nice.

Leschäres, ancient and cozy house. Super cute and very child-friendly staff. Very good home cooking!

It's a real house, not a fancy hotel. But very nice, just outside city center.

Very cute but old fashioned the only problem is that we had booked a double bed not a room with two twin beds that finivi in the hole in the middle.

Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are large. The restaurant was excellent.

Impressively spacious and child-friendly host family. A secret in Salzburg. This House is unique in Austria.

Unfortunately, there are no Minus points.
Unfriendly Staff. Everything outdated and the Room full Of Cobwebs.
We arrived and were allowed to park on the Street (with Parking Disc). We could have handed over the Key and the Waiter would have continued to rotate the Disc every 3 Hours. Unfortunately, the Key in front of the Restaurant would have hung on to a board accessible to all. A NoGo!
The Waiter sent us upstairs to the Front desk. After a long Wait and Search, we found a Lady who gave us the Key. When we came to the Room we saw a Couch that was dirty and speckly. The Room wasn't necessarily the cleanest. At the Window I saw a lot of disgusting Cobwebs. You can't do that!
We then searched for the Lady again to tell her that we would not stay here, but did not find her. Then we asked the Waiter where she is, we got the Answer … Way.
We then told the Waiter we didn't want to stay. He just said: Where is the Key. Bye. Then he left.

Iconic, quaint hotel with Restoration. Always Wednesday Tango argentino in the Hall.

We were given a very small room for two. The bed was stuck to the door and to the wall, we had no bedside tables. The bed quite uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when you move. The TV had no antenna cable so that neither could see, that there is that we used to watch tv, but when you arrive at night, like you want to a little. The small bathroom also. The breakfast, well, avarage. The treatment of the people is nice. The center is about 10-15 minutes walk.

The secret hotspot inside circles of the center, excellent cuisine and wonderful ambience!

Price performance perfectly fine. Proximity to the fair.

Really nice hotel we’ve stayed at a couple of times. The restaurant downstairs is good food and stays open reasonably late if you’re there having a drink. Breakfast included. The Wi-Fi isn’t great in the rooms.

Very old house. Many antiques, but messy, much dust.
There's no parking space. During the day, you can only stop for three hours and dial the clock every 3 hours.

Strange and funny place. Very messy, lots and lots of (mainly religious) things scattered all over the rooms, comlon areal and outside. Garden is a mess. But staff friendly, location is great: 10 mins walk from Altstadt. Breakfast is OK, but limited variety. Recommend for one or few nights, if you can stand the mess.

It is rustic, but ok cause that is what we were thinking it was.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent bed and bed linens. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Very convenient to get to the old town. Highly recommended.

Very cozy Hotel with all services without being luxurious.

We love this House, with this unique atmosphere. We have spent 4 times a weekend to visit the city and the Christmas there. Quaint rooms, the host and all the staff are absolutely adorable and helpful. Restaurant is absolutely recommended. Always had room with breakfast and it was always gorgeous. The location is perfect, you walk about 10 minutes on foot and is in the city centre pedestrian zone. If Salzburg then Wartenberg into the house.

A little bit bonkers, and thoroughly recommended. Friendly, quirky staff, in a heavily decorated, quirky building (and apartments across the street). Good food menu & late breakfasts. Easy to park nearby.

Best place to stay in Salzburg! Traditional food and great atmosphere.

Somehow the time stopped there! You have to like this already: old historical oiled wood floors, rustic furniture — Granny says Hello! The bathroom is new and even mattress and bed were comfortable ur! A real tip for connoisseurs and lovers of traditional values, but yet somehow unconventionally. I've read where the motto of the House! The kitchen is also particularly easy to digest! We have triggered deep fried chicken and chicken Pandjabi chicken Tika had — curd dumplings, dessert easily and simply a pleasure!

This is the first time ever that I have a bad review on the Internet were made. Want to say, I'm not notoricher Whiners. The room was ok, furniture style put together, but beautiful old pieces including. The bathroom is made to get a clean impression. The people were friendly, no problem! But: One of the towels was really dirty (Makeuprückstände extensively) — I've got a fresh type. The walls were cobwebs and added to what I am now, not really bothered would have been, but they were tlw. Even worse, smeared, what a very unsavory impression! On one of the blankets stuck to "something" and the beds smelled also not very good. The absolute Burner was the TV. A brisk small screen, but without remote control, without antenna or power cord. On request or disclosure, we have a pack of Mozarttaler get! (Television is there is probably not overrated :-). After all of these defects, we have on the Breakfast time will be waived. The house is enchanting, but it is kramig and really unloving! I've for example. In total with books and all kinds of crowded "space, " a simple, kettle missing, so we still have tea to make. I had even in the cheapest pensions still exist. For EUR 89.00 was and is this appearance an absolute cheek!

Very homely atmosphere, price, performance, allright! Great location, quite Central in Salzburg (15 minutes walk to the river Salzach) and still quiet.
