After today's mountain tour fortunately still in this great inn ✊ delicious food and very nice staff 👏🏼 now a regular guest 🤩

Despite a large crowd on the guest terrace (many tables were reserved) the service was very friendly and nimble. Extra requests for the food were fulfilled. The waiting time was reasonable. We will definitely come back — but with a prior table reservation — and can definitely recommend the Gasthof Kleefeld (own game breeding).

Absolutely fantastic place to stay for a vacation! Nothing negative. Food staff surroundings.

A beautiful Hotel in a picturesque area, with a petting zoo, trail is very to recommend.

Hiking trails for all fitness levels and time windows. Educational trail around the game enclosures, animals clearly visible. Inn inside and outside very attractive, cozy, very tasty food with fish and game from the farm.

We had a very nice excursion and a great meal in the Gasthof Kleefeld. The ambience and the surroundings are very good. The service was very friendly and the food tasted very good. The small zoo was of course also great, especially for children.

We ate very well. Price, performance fits. Very friendly service. The petting zoo and the wild animals are great to look at. Can only be recommended.

Food is good and fresh, but the service exceeds your imagination of terribleness. I habe been there several times, every time I think to myself "I will never come for another time". Then I go there again because of friends or family, I refresh my memory of how I think of them. The staff are quite unorganized and not so polite.

Great place for families!

I'm on vacation in the nearby area and treated my friends on dinner here. The general reply was simply amazing. Thank you for allowing me this gift to them.

Very nice place. Attention! By car to reach via relatively steep, narrow road with narrow bends. Very cozy terrace where you can watch goats in a large enclosure. Very interesting for children.

Super great even the animals all around deer, ibex fish everything there. A nice hike on the Sparber and then stop in.
Really cool also a suitable excursion destination with children. Super nice and a little away from the daily hustle and bustle.

Supergreat place for the whole family. Especially the very little ones are amazed at the many animals.

We had a wonderful extended weekend! As a starting point for our hike, the Inn with its large Wildgehen was optimal. As a conclusion we could enjoy the mountain panorama from the sun terrace every Evening.
The breakfast buffet as well as the dinner à la carte were outstanding! A beautiful ambiance and friendly staff rounded off our stay.
We will definitely be back!

Menu is dominated by game and fish. Because these products are likely to come from our own production!
After the. Food went a round through the wildlife park. Only point of criticism, albeit a very small one. The animals get in the shade in beautiful weather. Which is usually far away from the paths!
But a great excursion destination for young and old. Invites you to walk, hike and much more. It is also possible to use the animals with the. To feed the food that is offered there, which is very happy for young children.
Highly recommended!

Very nice place to chill out. Is a bit above you have to go serpentine. Unfortunately, we were the only guests. Season starts in mid-April.

Wir waren am Osterwochenende zum Mittagessen im Gasthof Kleefeld. Das Essen war grundsätzlich ausgezeichnet, einen Punkt Abzug gibt es lediglich wegen dem fehlenden Angebot für Vegetarier. Natürlich ist dieser Gasthof insbesondere für sein Wild — und Fischangebot bekannt, eine vegetarische Hauptspeise und/oder Vorspeise sollte sich jedoch auf der Karte eines jeden guten Restaurants finden (immerhin ein Kaiserschmarrn war bei den Hauptspeisen zu finden, besser wäre etwas Saures). Die Familie ist ein Fan des Gasthofs, aber leider nicht alle sind Fleischesser.

Very good food, friendly service and also child friendly. There is a separate room for the kids, outdoor enclosure for goats, hares etc. That can be fed. And several fish ponds were also created.

Beautiful views over the deer park and a fish and game menu in the restaurant. Very high quality food in a recently refurbished, but still traditional setting.

Has really good food including roasted deer and other traditional Austrian food. Also there is a small petting zoo with bunnies and goats.

Very good restaurant, inside dignified atmosphere. Beautiful terrace with fantastic view. Outside small petting zoo, children's playground and walking opportunities. It is advisable to make a reservation. Recommendation: Game dishes and fish.

Arrived there in the midst of thunderstorms and electricity a lot — professional handling of the entire team. Perfect hosting despite power failure. Food was excellent and if the weather had been better we would have seen the animals even more — you can see the deer, goats, bunnies even from inside.

A wonderful place not far away from Strobl with a game enclosure and very nice service and excellent cuisine.

We were hiking with our 3 year old son. There is a petting zoo and a playground. In the menu you can find so much of the game and of your own fish breeding. Service is friendly, food very good.

Very nice rooms, kitchen was very helpful to. They cooked special vegetarian food. Unfortunately the menu is very much focused on meals with meat. we liked the pettings zoo and the nice walks. Very pleasand stay.

In principle, to the point — I would have given the Inn very much like the well-deserved 4 stars for our week's holiday! Everything was perfect: very good food, very friendly Service staff (Restaurant and housekeeping), beautiful room with great quiet and beautiful location, very well equipped Wellness area (provided the Lodge is not fully occupied, then there is too little space in the Sauna for long open from 15 to 22 clock! ), enough possibilities to play … for kids and

BUT a star I must be off, now … because of the attraction of the Inn — namely the witty and kind-hearted goats, including some high-load-bearing goats and lactating ewes velvet Kitzlein were in the minus 20 degree night temperature and 50 cm of snow in the cold to watch and to offer them at these temperatures, no more hay or straw or an extra Portion of food as a protection against the icy cold in her wooden hut … makes you really sad! also some sick goat not got more heat in this prolonged icy and snowy wet weather awarded …
You come to the conclusion: Apparently, only the hunter's favorite animal is one in Gasthof Kleefeld …

Very nice hosts. Also the staff is very friendly. The rooms are very modern. Excellent cuisine with special dishes from your own attitude. Great starting point for hiking and many other sporting activities. Also for families with children very great due to the many different animals. There were now the second time. Can you recommend.

We have rarely experienced such an unfriendly staff!
Were welcomed at our first communion ceremony so unfriendly. Unfortunately it also went further in this tone. The staff was very stressed, it came out like a supplicant. Even if on May 1, pretty much is going on, what to expect, you can handle my opinion not as paying guests. Really too bad, because the clover field would be a nice destination. Only with such a treatment you thought about it three times! Just disappointing!

Excellent Wild game and fish dishes. Particularly positive is, again, the staff noticed. Due to a wedding the house was up to the last seat filled, yet a rapid and friendly Service — top!

We have long yearned to visit Salzkammergut, and finally this October our dream went to reality. We found Gasthof Kleefeld in Tripadvisor and it was happy choice. Cozy hotel, clean, nice, perfect located at hillside, surrounded by majestic hills. Separate chapter was restaurant: very impressive place, but what was the best was meal, it was so delicious that we always consumed all what we obtain — but alas for our weight the portions were really rich. The staff was simply perfect, we had feeling that they are member of our family. We recommend visit this place for families with children — there are lots of deer, does, rabbits, mountain goats, sheep at fences next to hotel. You can see majestic deer through fence eye-to eye for half meter distance. Of course, it was October, so deer blared out all the night. I think, another month would be better time for staying and sleep there, maybe. Sure we try to return there someday.

Excellent regional cuisine with wild from own enclosures and fish fresh from the ponds, erstkklassiger service, beautifully situated at the end of a short road, its own Wildlife Park, Petting Zoo, hiking trails (E. G. Z. Mail realm, playground, large flat parking (RV? )
