Very nice family run hotel. Warm atmosphere and great food. Central location for hiking tours and leisure activities. Our next stay is planned.

Very nice, quiet family owned hotel. Good food and nice, very friendly and accommodating staff.
Short distances to cable cars and excursion destinations, but also to quiet and romantic places.

We stayed at the Tirolerhof for three days. The boss and all the staff was very nice and eager to help. The food superb and the rooms the right size and most importantly clean. We would love to come back.
Also worth mentioning was the musical offer. A great holiday unfortunately too short.

Idyllic location, nice ambience, large rooms, good cuisine, friendly service, great sauna area with swimming pool and aroma shower! 🙂 Overall, always a successful break! 🙂

We have always been certain expectations of a Hotel in which we feel at our short breaks are in good hands. So we found the Landhotel Tirolerhof. Arrived all our expectations were fulfilled after the other, in short we felt at home. The Superlative is the family Erharter and also the staff all with great dedication to ensure that you will feel right at home. And criticize if it is really something that can be overlooked would be a Trifle on the loose. Consequently, we try to set it up again to spend a few days in the wild schönau. Only because the blue of the Franconian had it done to me.

100% of everything! Despite a lot of snow and a lively hotel, one has always the feeling of peace. We were able to recover super well. We come back, that's a promise! Gundy & Kurt with his son and family.

Beautiful spacious rooms in cosy country style. Only the lamp at the end of the head is impractical and disturbing.
Eat ok; the breakfast buffet could have a little more choice of breads.
The staff very nice and helpful. Allergies and intolerances were taken into account and even alternatives were offered or served!

The location is great because you live right next to 2 small tugs and not far to the ski bus. The rooms are also very spacious.

On Ash Wednesday we ate at the Fischbufett and it was a full hit. There were also hot fish dishes. Also the staff was very nice. It was a successful evening. A thank you to the whole team from the Tirolerhof.

Were at the Ski Opening for the first time with you in the house. We felt at home. We are happy to come back! In the house, the whole package is just right! Rooms, food, feel-good atmosphere, staff all top and only recommend!

We have just returned from a week’s holiday at this wonderful hotel. We had our two year old with us and my in-laws so we had various different requirements to cater for and the hotel did a brilliant job at looking after everyone. Everyone we met was kind, friendly, helpful and efficient. There was an excellent level of customer care and service and we are already considering a return to the hotel in the future. The food was another superb feature of our visit. The rest of my party had stayed in a great many Austrian hotels and commented that this was the best food they had ever experienced in one. This view was echoed by many of the other guests. There was a salad bar to start with, followed by interesting soup (not usually the case in Austria! ), then a choice of three main courses followed by a delicious pudding. (My only tiny gripe with the dining room was the number of flies buzzing around. ) Breakfast was also amazing and had a huge array to choose from so everyone was happy. Our Inghams package also included a packed lunch every day. This consisted of 2 rolls with your filling of choice, fruit, chocolate biscuit and a bottle of water. This was so helpful and saved an awful lot of faff and fuss every day. The hotel pool is tiny but suited our toddler perfectly. It is also evident from hotel pictures that the pool is not large so we knew what we were getting when we booked.

The staff are very friendly and helpful in all ways. The rooms are plenty big enough and well appointed and most importantly clean. The food is very good with a choice of 3 main meals for dinner plus soup and salad, with a dessert to finish. Drinks are cheaper than in England. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The food was very good. Top service and cosy bar in the hotel, sometimes with live music.

Really nice hotel, great location, food and accomodation. The only thing I like to see to improve is softer matrasses.

The restaurant is a very reasonably priced typical austrian cuisine.

We've been visiting Family Erharter at the Tirolerhof in Oberau for 6yrs now, our children have grown with each visit. It's a lovely Austrian family Hotel with lots to do all year round. From MTB's in the summer to Skiing in the winter. We've noticed that the snow in Oberau is coming later (after new year) in the winter season though, but Auffach is close by and easy to reach. You receive a Wildschönau card which gives you free buses. The fireworks are amazing on the new years day — evening. Dress smart for dinner on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. Enjoy!

Typical Tyrolean middle class hotel with good regional cuisine
On a beautiful day we opted for a lunch at the Tirolerhof. The wild garlic dumplings with Parmesan cheese were a very good example of the regional cuisine and excellent, well seasoned steak with country potatoes was unfortunately not well hung otherwise ok (somewhat tough), but the Topfenknöderl were a poem with plum compote and have comforted over it more than us. All in all a good, down-to-Earth cuisine with a good price / performance ratio. The service was but unfortunately something "overwhelmed" with the inclusion of the order and the time allocation although friendly, although the terrace was only 3/4 full. This family-friendly hotel with sauna and swimming pool seems to be clean and well run.

Just back from a week in Oberau at the Tirolerhof. We had a great time, and especially enjoyed the Dessert Buffet, Farmers Buffet and the Morning news! The family Erharter and all their staff were so helpful, even printing our boarding passes for our connecting flight to Northern Ireland. Having stayed in the valley a number of times in different hotels and self-catering accomodation this was definitely the best, hope to be back again!

First stay during a recent skiing trip in January. Overall experience was very good leaning towards excellent. Friendly welcoming staff, clean comfortable rooms, evening dinner was excellent. Enjoyed it so much we booked the same hotel for next January… Highly recommended Sadly the ski operator Neilson aren't operating in this area for 2016 so our return visit may not happen!
