A wonderful country Inn, friendly staff and really tasty food. We will definitely come again :-)

We have enjoyed the 3 days with you very much.
Very nice people, large rooms and a huge breakfast buffet which was really good.
The dinner consisting of 3 courses, simply a dream.

Three relaxing days spent. Quietly located in the mountains away from the Inn Valley. Nice hosts, spacious rooms and varied cuisine.

Simple, but good! Very good and authentic cuisine. The sauce of roast onion was a poem. Reorders or special requests are not a problem. Come back safely.

We were in June 2018 at the Dorferwirt. Unfortunately, we have already been greeted a little unkindly. The guest cards were issued to us directly, as we found out later, even by the boss herself. Unfortunately, she didn't even imagine it. Our room was spacious, but in need of renovation. Heaters are hidden behind the curtains, but they urgently need a coat of paint. In the bathroom there was no possibility to hang towels. On request, two hooks were installed after 3 days. However, so close to each other that it was impossible to hang two bath towels. There was still no hanging option for the small towels. On the first day, some long blond hair from the previous guests lay on the floor. These, as well as the mirror in the bathroom as well as the dust on the lamps, the picture above the bed and the strips of the night cupboards were not cleaned for 10 days. And this despite the complaint. Unfortunately, there was no control.
For four evenings it was not possible to open the window in the evening, as it was celebrated underneath until the night. The cigarette smoke that pulls up is also unbearable. This made it very hot in the room at night.
The food was okay so far, but not as great as rated here. The choice was sufficient. It consisted mainly of finished products. The fruit salad, for example, was from the tin. The Austrian evening was good, but here too fresh vegetables would be better.

The place is an ideal starting point for hiking.

Hello, we are going to the Dorferwirt for the 8th time this August. We liked it from day one. The family-run establishment is known for its hospitality and good cuisine. We feel comfortable there and will be a frequent guest at the Dorferwirt. We wish you a good time and then until August at the valley festival.

Nice and friendly atmosphere. Polite and helpful any time again.

Especially for the winter holiday: the rooms are very basic, but are MITLKK all equipped. The rooms themselves are only meant for sleeping. Breakfast buffet is very pleasant, versatile and inclusive. There is a ski cellar with a heating for boots and brackets for skis and boards. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel, which runs to the nearest ski resort.
Dinner is a three-course meal with a soup, a main dish and a dessert. The portions are plentiful and on request there are changes. You can choose between 2 main courses and determine the portion. Only drinks must be paid.
After the Anendessen you have the opportunity to go to the sauna or to enter the KAMINSTÜBL. To the KAMINSTÜBL: there are different playing possibilities. You can play billiards, play darts or borrow tickets from the very friendly bartender who also likes to play when there is little going on.

Nice atmosphere and nice staff. As well as a very good meal. We were at the Spanferkelbufett.

Cosy country inn with good cuisine and well-kept drinks … cosy fireplace room, large bar, large hall departmental bar for weddings and bigger celebrations … cosy, sheltered guest garden … very friendly and competent service.

Superb setting, really great staff (if a little costumed), so welcoming and accommodating when another half+ of the family turned up for supper unannounced. Those others had good enough hotels, but all agreed that we had (by chance) hit the jackpot.

We spend only a few days but great days. The place is beautiful and well placed for discovering the wildschönau.
The room was spacious, clean ans comfortable.

Very quiet location. Very tasty food and nice staff. There are plenty of attractions and hiking trails that are easily accessible from the Country Inn. Rooms are very well maintained and have very few shortcomings that were quickly removed with the consultation at the reception.

For 14 days of family holiday the Dorferwirt was perfect: the room spacious and with balcony, the food varied and delicious. And the guided Almtour was also great — including a snack at the Alpine hut. The price was agreed, what more could one want? :-)

A really lovely traditional gashof ideal for walking around the Wildschönau Valley. Family run with great food and service at reasonable prices.

We spent our füngtägigen short holiday in Wildschönau Oberau at the Gasthof dorfwirt, and were thrilled. Class accommodation, room very clean and nice, food is always fresh and tasty, staff friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended, we would gladly come again.

1. May in Austria everything but the Drofwirt has on. An attempt into the blue, and we were excited very polite and nice service, large dining room and despite the operation of the hotel and the holiday is still a good place found. The food is in the price-performance ratio highly recommended. Also the soups were freshly prepared and incredibly tasty. TIP: The Tyrolean Raindl is very good. Homemade noodles and a Spicy mushroom sauce to pork medallions.

Oh yes my home Inn, for years a consistently excellent home-style cooking. The homemade roast pork is highly recommended. As a Verdauungsgehifen, you should order the legendary "Krautenga".
