Mel & Rob went out of their way to accommodate our party of 8 with transport to a neighbouring winery when all taxis’ were booked. Accommodation is excellent, clean and everything you need. Thanks guys. We will be back!

Rob & Mel are fantastic with their service from booking, checking in, information & checking out. I’ve been a returning visitor for the last 5 years and the property just seems to get better every time I return. Centrally located near Caves Rd & Wallcliffe Rd, it’s in a perfect place to start & end your day. A few minutes you’re at Main Break, a few minutes the other way you’re at an award winning winery and a couple minutes up Wallcliffe & you’re in town. The property is beautiful, with some friendly ducks & chickens, supported by a beautiful lake. The chalets are in amazing condition, with attention to detail to cleanliness, washing products and utensils. It’s a beautiful place to end the day on the balcony, cooking a bbq & drinking the local produce. I will not stay anywhere else in the region and will continue to book Bushy Lake Chalets when I stay in the region.

Very quiet and peaceful. Total relaxation. Managers were extremely helpful regarding wineries, restaurants and local attractions! Thoroughly recommend!

Beautiful, quiet location to relax. Spotless chalets, comfortable couches log fire and crisp white sheets on beds. Well-appointed kitchen.

Great location for us doing a section of the Cape to Cape walk. Friendly hosts. Lovely well equipped chalets. Comfortable beds. Great to have an A/C unit as well as the wood heater as the mornings were very cold!

Just returned from a two night stay in Bushy lake chalets, everything was just lovely, just what we wanted, the wood burner fire just made the chalet so cosy, we were snug as a bug!

My wife and I booked here at the last minute for a quick weekend getaway, we were so lucky we found this place as it was the perfect chalet. I was blown away with the cleanliness of the chalet and it shows the pride taken by the owners who were lovely aswell with some great recommendations when needed. Looking forward to being back soon.

Great home away from home — even better! All the amenities you'd need for cooking, hosting, barbies, doing laundry. Plus the wildlife come right up to your deck — especially if you feed 'em once! Location is good, just a short drive away to Margaret River. Hang out on the outside deck and cuddle up to the ducks and other birdlife the come up to introduce themselves — they're Aussie birds afterall…

Nice setting in a cosy park with 6 chalets. Chalets are very clean, well equipped and maintained. Close to Margaret River and beaches.

I have been here several times, and keep going back. The owners are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The chalets are clean and immaculate. If you love a romantic weekend away for you and your partner, choose the studio chalet… Spa, log fire, BBQ or even a chalet for the whole family.

Definitely a hidden little gem, shhhhh don’t tell too many people we had the best Christmas, can’t wait to do it all over again.

We recently stayed at Bushy Lakes again and this time, in the Kingfisher House along with my parents and our daughter. The owners upgraded us to the Kingfisher which is closer to the beautiful and tranquil lake that runs through the property. What an absolute pleasure it is to stay here. We will see you again soon!

What a great place to stay while visiting the Margaret river district. The owners were very friendly and helpful and knowledge of the area was of great assistance to us whilst here.

Stayed 4 nights in a very lovely chalet in wonderful bush setting. Owners very nice and extremely helpful. The chalets are very close to everything including the town. Chalet has everything. I highly recommend this place for a getaway to the Margaret RIver region.

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed in this wonderful location. It is now under new management and they are a lovely couple who were more than happy to have a chat and make sure everything was perfect for our stay. They are improving the area every day and have some wonderful new ideas that will make your stay even more enjoyable! The location is amazing and is only a $12 taxi fare from Margaret River and short drives to all major wineries, breweries and beaches. We did take photos but they are exactly the same as the website. What you see is definitely what you get. The internet has improved dramatically since we stayed last year, with no drop outs and very good speed for the location. I have no problems in recommending people to stay here and enjoy everything that is Margaret River!

Lovely little chalet and fully equipped. My little one loved the jacuzzi bath tub, and myself the fireplace. Great experience.

We arrived at 8pm on Friday eve and both the owners were very helpful, when we asked about places to eat and places to visit and things to do in the area during our stay.
We had a lake view, which was just beautiful. …
Large tall trees and foresty area makes it feel very secluded, yet your not to far from town.
Chalet was very clean, loved the log burning fire and Spa.
Would highly recommend here and have done to quite a few friends and work collegues.

Fantastic location in-between Prevelly and margaret river. Right on caves road for easy access to wineries ect. But far enough back so noise doesn't bother you. Was lovely and clean and had spa bathroom toiletries along with complementary milk twa/coffee ect.

I have stayed at Bushy Lakes several times and every time was an absolute treat! It is very centrally located, close to the town centre, beaches and numerous wineries, breweries and chocolate factories. The family owners are very friendly, welcoming and always happy to assist in whatever way they can. Bushy Lakes never fails to please for a romantic, luxurious and relaxing weekend in Margret River — a nice local wine enjoyed in the bath tub with views of the lake is perfect!

I've stayed at Bushy Lakes a view times and absolutely love it. The staff are friendly (family run), the location is between Margs and the beach and the chalets are brilliant especially for couples.

We just had a lovely 3 nights in the "Kingfisher Chalet" Bushy Lakes everything you need is there. We first styed there 15 years ago (OMG! ) the Chalets have been maintained wonderfully, thanks. They are also centrally placed to anything you would care to pass the time doing.

I often go to Margaret River on business, where I stay close to the town center. I wish my company would put me up at Bushy Lake! Bushy Lake is my accommodation of choice when I head to Margaret River for leisure, the affordable prices, great service and peaceful location means you get exactly what you are after when you visit Margaret River, without venturing far out of the main strip.
