Nice rooms, kitchen and sitting area. Plus great employees.

Clean and great value and great atmosphere.

No doubt it is a clean hostel. But Debi, the owner, is the rudest person I have ever met during my 1 year trip; she yelled and screamed at my door one day and made me get out of the shower after 5 MINUTES, no joke, as I was trying to get the sand out of my hair. I was all wet and told her I just got in and needed to wash my hair, and she answered that I am not the one paying for electricity. I am the first one saying that saving water and electricity is important, but 5 minutes? What the hell?
I had payed for my room like every other custumer but I prefered to leave right away (loose money & find a new hostel walking with my heavy backpack on me) rather than being spoken like crap for no actual reason.
So if you don't feel like dealing with psychos, do not step a toe there.

A very modern YHA with very attentive staff managing the place. We will be going back there next time we are in Port Lincoln!

I was in a few yha in Australia. I lived in Brisbane for 3 months in a yha. After our roadtrip and 4 days without a shower, I hoped that me and my boyfriend can take a shower/ using the kitchen against money in one of the friendly YHA. We arrived in port Lincoln and I was so happy to see a YHA again. But she told us we can’t take a shower there, can’t use the kitchen. So we ate again at Mc Donald’s : (she told us to go to the leisure center to take a shower. Thank you for the information. We went there. All good. But it would be better if you could help us backpackers traveling trough south Australia. : (

This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the facilities are very clean. The hostel has a good vibe and the decorations makes the hostel unique.

Hands down the best hostel in Australia. Had a lovely warm welcome and tour from Debi and Rob around the Port Lincoln YHA, both of whom are happy to help with any questions and give out fantastic recommendations for the local area. You can tell there is alot of pride in maintaining this little gem, Everything is so clean and tidy, there is great facilities and the beds are comfier than my own! Can not recommend this hostel enough.

Clean & more than comfortable. The most wonderful people that run the place. I wouldn't think twice about staying there again. Port Lincoln Shark Diving is pretty cool too.

Extremely clean, very strickt, keen to kick you out after checkout asap… not very freindly, other hostels are better in that respect.

Best hotel that I’ve ever been. Very close the the center of Port Lincoln, there is all of what you need, kitchen, TV room, barbecue, showers are clean everything was perfect. But the most important was the team, very kind and helpful, Debi even found me a lift the morning when I left, a real mother, we can’t do better! Definitely the best place to be for enjoy Port Lincoln and be ready for the shark cage diving. I will be glad to come back if I have the opportunity!

From the moment of making my booking to after we departed, Debi and Rob were great! Quick to respond to any questions I had prior to check in and also called me within an hour of checking out the hostel to let me know of items I'd left in the room! The hostel itself is incredible, by far the best I've ever stayed in. Very very clean & facilities were excellent. There wasn't anything that they had not thought of. The 4metre shark in the reception is a brilliant idea too. Definitely gets you excited if you are taking the part in the Calyspo Shark Dive! Wish we could have stayed longer, hopefully our paths will cross again in the future! Well done on creating a fantastic hostel!

Really enjoy to stay in this hostel, secure and safe, this place is well maintain, clean and neat. I would like to visit this hostel if I come back to Port Lincoln next time.

The YHA is a clean, well-kept environment. The staff are very friendly and helpful, having recommended great places to eat and visit.

As I walked into the Port Lincoln YHA I was greeted with enthusiasm and friendliness. The host showed me my room before I paid and then gave me a tour of the whole premesis, which was very well laid out. The location is superb, on the end of the main street with access to food and a brewery next door. What more could you ask? The only downside to my stay is the temporary London bridge closure, which normally provides access to the main street. It will be closed for a few months but it's not the worst problem for me.

I have been on 6 continents, numerous hostels, motels, hotels, people's houses, a yacht or two in numerous countries. This place is great. Beautiful, super clean, friendly, helpful, books, movies, loads of kitchen utensils. Great patio. Bathrooms in rooms, additional bathrooms in common areas. 4 bunk is huge. Most hostels would have 12 bunks in it. A 5 star all the way.

The best YHA in Australia and possibly the world… the cleanest, the best facilities, the nicest hosts, Debi and Rob and of course free wi fi.
I give it 10 stars… and I rate it higher than most hotels I have stayed at… and the price is a bargain at $24 per night. Do yourself a favour come to Port Lincoln and stay at the YHA. Thanks for looking after your guests so well. Yummy banana bread also.

Great hostel. One of the best I've stayed in. Double room was as good as some of the hotels we've stayed in. Really friendly boss. Excellent kitchen etc. Has its own bar, this does mean you can't drink your own though. Nice communal areas and a big cinema room. Recommend staying here for your shark diving trip.

Best hostel I have stayed in auz sofar. Staff are great. Its a home from home. Its more homely than your average hostel. Soo clean its like its just built. Kitched bathrooms and commom area is so nice. Each bed comes with its own reading light and power outlet. Wifi availble and there is a bar as well. I will be back again.

This place is brilliant. Debbie and the team run a tight ship and their help and support definitely makes for an improved experience above other hostels I've stayed in. Great stuff.

Booked for a few nights and stayed for 6 months! The hostel itself is well designed and setup. Has a MASSIVE galley kitchen with heaps of room to cook a meal for an army and sooooo clean. The owners Debi and Rob are what I would consider the bests hosts in Australia! Whilst I was there they had BBQs, tours and went out of the way for all their guests without additional charge. If you have an opportunity to stay in Port Lincoln stay at the YHA — not your usual Hostel trust me.

Best hostel ever in all aspects with excellent service, amenities and cleanliness that beats even top-notch hotels. With the ever-friendly, cheerful and helpful owner-operators Debbie and Robert and their adorable pet-dog/mascot Codi, you are guaranteed to have a great stay here! I went here with a gang from the UK on our way for shark cage diving and swimming with blue fin tuna. We had the best time. Our hosts Debi and Robo were made us feel so at home I had a little tear when I left. The place is in mint condition, the kitchen has everything you need, the communal areas are fun and the rooms are lush. Definitely the place to stay in Port Lincoln.
