Your Staffs service and attitude to say the least! Aftef I brought my 96 year old mother to have lunch, ordered the seafood pasta & Singapore noodles, only to have pieces of chicken with blood and raw, when I complained, the waitress came back to say"Chef says it's just a vein it happens sometimes! "? I said to her would you eat this showing her the pieces of chicken, only to say the chef says blah blah backwards n forth! really? well my mother can't be exposed to food poisoning, and neither can I as I work and care for her, contaminated food with raw chicken is not to be taken lightly! Will not be coming here again, or recommend.

Food was delicious. Staff friendly and efficient. Sadly the horses were not our friends!

Left there this morning had spa room. Room was clean and comfy, bed was comfy. The staff were lovely and helpful. View is beautiful, breakfast was nice and plenty of it. I really enjoyed my stay, when I go back I will stay there again.

Very dissapointed with customer service at the front desk. Had a nice lady when we changed our booking due to covid and the one today was rude. Won't be staying here again and def won't let any of our workers for business trips. A loss to them now will take our business and money elsewhere. The room is way overpriced and nothing like the photos!

Wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. The time I've been here they treat you like your in a 5star hotel. Rooms are big and spacious. For a larger room try the executive spa suite. Wonderful stay in this room. Close to shops. great choice of food to. both rooms shown are the two rooms booked this visit.

Went to a function there and 2 meals we asked for takeaway containers, went and asked them if they had done them and then got advised they had thrown them out. Then got told they had given them to other people. Not bad, the meals been sitting on a table for over 20mins then to be given to someone else. Wouldn’t give a credit for them as had to give it back to the person who booked the function. Wouldn’t go back if you paid me.

One of the best hotels in Adelaide for us, nice big rooms beautiful view with balcony, great restaurants… highly recommended.

Lovely rooms all waterview, breakfast was awesome and inclusive. Range of nice eateries, beautiful walk along the lake, very close to the beach — great service. Will definately be back. 🤩😃

The most appalling service I have ever experienced at a hotel. Not accommodating in the slightest. Would not recommend anyone to book here.

Great bar staff and friendly, spoiled the atmosphere by having a security guy wearing a dorky mask and parading around like a dork. Very unprofessional. Won’t stop me going back but still it wasn’t a good look.

A group of physically and intellectually disabled people attended your venue tonight. They were stared at, had comments shot at them (by older patrons) and even the manager on duty spoke rudely to their carer infront of the public. It was all about them not wearing face masks. They are legally exempt. Grow up people, educate your staff! And interestingly, it was a couple of "young" staff members who were accommodating and accepting. Our younger generation have a few things on our older generation! Very poor behaviour. You're actions and way of handling the covid situation is disgraceful and disrespectful to individuals! Shame shame shame!

The stunning views, fantastic location, room cleanliness and presentation, comfortable king sized beds, staff friendliness and professionalism, amazing, beautifully prepared and presented, delicious food, fantastic room service. This hotel sets the standard.

Great place to stay so far food seems good staff are great but the parking is shithouse needs to be parking allocated for people staying its the only downside.

A very disappointing day
went to make a coffee to find the cup had dried hot chocolate in it.
no one told us when we booked there was a rowing event on. We were told all parking was taken by spectators but we couldn't go down the road to a public park. We tried to book into knots kitchen for dinner and were told we would have to sit in th bar as there were no seating left (still paying restaurant prices) We went for a walk and found Brunlli just down the road and had a beautiful meal.
I'm sure that this is a one off by the lakes. Girl at reception at 2.15pm was fantastic.

BEWARE ADDITIONAL ROOM SERVICE CHARGES*
Three major issues I wish I didn't have to share.
1. Our room had no electricity and a broken air conditioner. We graciously moved to another room without complaint, these things happen! No easy feat when travelling with a disabled child, but I did it with a smile.
2. We were stoked to learn on arrival their ala carte breakfast menu was included with our room. After our stay I received a receipt via email for 2 x breakfast charges for $65ea (I KNOW! ). Already charged to our credit card.
3. I responded and politely asked for a refund. The response received was disappointing.
"All staff mention on check-in that the included breakfast is served downstairs in our Bistro. This is also stated clearly at the top of the room service menu that you ordered from, and reception staff mention that any breakfast room service will be charged at full price when taking orders in the morning. There's nothing we can do for your misunderstanding. "
None of this was stated to us at all during our stay — at check-in or when ordering. We are unable to dine in restaurant environments due to our son's challenges. I expressed this to them too. I've also asked to see the menu from the room as it was not written anywhere on the breakfast page we could see. I'm a reasonable person. Luckily, we can afford it.

Thank you for a great place to celebrate my 60th. Great food, great service. The before and after service was great. Thank you all. Oh and EVERYONE! Enjoyed they food they ordered. Will visit again.

You have the rudest staff in your restaurant. They took the order wrong. They took 4 goes to get it right but then it was cold and no extra bacon. Fancy your manager yelling across two tables to tell me that they brang it out already! Pathetic.

Booked into Knots Kitchen after having to leave the Semaphore Palais. Fantastic. Can’t praise this place highly enough. Saved our night!

Love our spacious room 405 with a spa and spacious bathroom. Lovely balcony with a view. Love the dining room & the variety of healthy food served for breakfast. We as piano students also are naturally attracted to the grand piano. I am wondering whether we could hire this space for our end of the year recital? Thank you.

I don't even know where to start! Shannon & her team are absolutely incredible. Our wedding was magical, from the fairy light pillar down to the placement of our decor! Just absolutely perfect. Every single staff member was so friendly and giving — putting in their all to make sure everything ran smoothly. before we booked, we read every review and the recommendations of how incredible Shannon was and she truly lived up to her reputation. incredible venue, views and staff. We cannot thank you enough for making our day perfect.

Terrible service this morning. Line for breakfast buffet was out the door. So slow. Fruit section took 25 minutes to be replenished after it all ran out. In the end all I had was toast as I could not wait in line for 25mins with a toddler. $22, waste of money!

Beautiful and convenient location. Helpful, smiling staff. We liked the gym and the pool area. Breakfast could do with a revamp, it’s tired. The precooked dishes are lukewarm and unappetising, and the tiny old fashioned tea cups! — can we have a mug for tea and coffee please?

We stayed here for a wedding over the weekend… I can not see express how happy we felt with the service. Our room was presented well, the breakfast was lovely, the staff were helpful! As for the wedding itself, both ceremony and reception were held at the venu… the food was cooked to perfection, the wait stuff were so professional & the venu was clean and very well presented! Will definitely stay here again!

A wonderful venue. Huge. Friendly service. Comfortable rooms with good amenities. A few more coat hangers wouldn't go astray tho… only had 6 for two of us. Had to ask for more towels. Dinner at Neptunes was fabulous but slow as it was pretty packed for a Monday. Buffet breakfast was superb… all you can eat cereal, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, toast, coffee, tea, juice, etc.

The Lakes is a well class venue. Relaxing views of the Lake. Very good staff. A more up market hotel, with great staff every where. Worth the visit at any time.

Went to have a meal and watch the football on the 4/8/2018, I usually have a schnitzel as I did on this occasion, the schnitzel and chips tasted like dirty or burnt oil, I persevered with it but the decide to tell the young lady that was taken orders and she said oh ok I will tell the cook, and that my friends is the last I heard of it, I wait a couple of hours and when I spotted who I thought was the duty manager (he corrected me and told me he was the general manager) I told him of my complaint and told me that he had been in the kitchen most of the night and didn’t hear of my complaint, I told him I live nearby and I am often then to watch the football or have a punt, although I eat my meal it did leave a very bad taste in my mouth and my friend didn’t eat his chips because of the taste, I will keep going back but I feel that the matter was not handled in a professional manner.

Quick 2 day stay for an unwind with a spa suite and a swim in the heated pool. Great location. Highly recommend. Impeccable service from delightful staff. Shout out to Christian the best barman. Thank you lakes resort. We will be back in the summer. One happy relaxed couple.

Great venue and location. Great service, friendly staff and the food is good. Overall good except pokies. If you like to play DO NOT play at this venue. I have played here for years and have never ever won a cent or even got my money back. Left tens of thousands of dollars here over the years. Highly unusual and suspicious.

Usually good food. Can tell which chefs are on/how good my meal is based on the containers the sauce sometimes come with. Great bar service. Much more open after the change. Feels less like a Dank pub and the place feels more spread out.

Service at the restaurant (Crusoe's) was excellent. The food was impeccable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The view would've been amazing during sunset but we dined later in the night.

My meal was delicious but the price of beer was unbelievable compared with other places. They couldn't find our booking and left me standing there like an idiot as they helped other people. I had to call a family member who was already at a table to find out where we were seated.

Food excellent and reasonably priced… comfortable… staff very friendly… sports bar excellent, comfortable area to watch footy on a huge screen… great views of the lake… highly recommend.

Sports function is hassle free. It has plenty of large TV screens and a very large and centred one. A pub is available within the room but there is a larger service station on a well retrofitted pub. It also has plenty of car parking spaces. Great service, thanks.

Stayed many times, great rooms, great view, great breakfast, plenty of carparking, great shopping across the road at West Lakes. I am a large statured person and the Lakes gives me all that I need for a great holiday and a nice relaxing time. ,

I was so disappointed by the whole experience in the bistro last Saturday night as my son and I are fairly regular patrons. I have only had cause for a couple of complaints over the years, one written but this was brushed off by that nights restaurant Manager. This Saturday I ordered a chicken breast dish from the Specials board. What I got was a chicken breast dish from the regular menu (nothing like the former) and when I took the meal to a staff member her attitude was unsurprised, very casual ' oh dear there must have been miscommunication, we'll fix it up' and I got the idea that the staff knew my order was wrong but were testing to see if they could get away with it and I would eat it anyway. About 5 minutes later a staff member appeared to warn me that the replacement meal would take about 30 minutes to cook, which I ok'd but it meant my son had finished his meal way before I even started mine. Unacceptable. However the kicker was that there was over $5 difference in price between the 2 meals but I had to ask for this to be refunded. I wonder what others would make of this? I know what I did.

Beautiful spot to watch a sporting event, massive television one way and lake view the other. Staff were on point in a big way, super classy and ready for service whenever we needed something. Was really impressed and would def recommend.

Firstly, many hair left on the linen, doubt linen is changed before check in. A Live cockroach above the bed is looking at us in the next morning. Secondly, free Wi-Fi should be provided as it's mentioned on the bookings. We chose the hotel can provide Wi-Fi on booking because of business needs. However, this hotel ' s Wi-Fi service is limited. At the beginning, the hotel insisted so we devices had issues-we have two mobiles and one pad, none of them is Workin G. Then we been told "Can not does anything about the Internet" after the staff and manager tried on their mobiles. Also been told as "security Reason", all Chinese websites and apps accesses are. If you are want to access Chinese websites and apps, then, the hotel staff is very glad to teach for your how to use your own Mobil E data! Although hotel offered room upgrading and free meal for the second night, or refund the second night-only if we fee Leave. We decided to leave on the end because we don ' t feel welcome and there are no promised service and no respect. Rnet Service limitation of Lakes Resort Hotel-there is no access to Chinese websites and apps. The health situation in the hotel is worrying. There are a lot of suspicious hairs left on the sheets.
The next day I got up and saw a living cockroach on my bed.

I love the Lakes Hotel, handy location right across from west lakes shopping mall. The function room, main bar, private function room & some of the accomodation have very beautiful views of the lake, I have enjoyed fantastic meals & a buffet style breakfasts in the restaurant. The staff have always been friendly and helpful too!

Great place for a quiet dinner for two, or a catch up with some rowdy friends. Also the dining is top class, with a mix of fine dining to your authentic pub meal. The Lakes Resort Hotel, well worth the visit!

Vicinity was fantastic, Westfield across the road. Bistro was good. Staff — not warm, but helped when needed. View breathtaking! Recommend.

I went to the hotel for a work lunch function. I am vegan and they had a menu dedicated to vegan options, so it made it very easy to choose something. The food was very nice and service was great.

Really nice hotel with comfortable beds and a great view. However, toilet/bathroom doors did not have locks which seems weird when starting in a family sized room.

A good quality hotel offering spacious bedrooms with views over the lake. Courteous staff, good food with plenty full variety served in the restaurant and bar area. Located adjacent to a Westfield shopping mall for good retail therapy. Also an excellent bus service into the city from the shopping mall. Good value for money location.

We had our work Christmas party at the venue last night and stayed in one of the spa rooms for the night! Great food including the all inclusive buffet breakfast! Wonderfully friendly staff! Spacious room with an awesome view of the lake from our room! Only disappointment was that it was only for one night so we’ll definitely be back!

We purchased our alcohol through the bottle shop for our wedding here. Not only was it the best price but the help and advice made it so much less stressful. They went over and beyond for us. Thank you.
We also have dinner here whenever we get a chance and stay in the rooms on special occasions. It’s a favourite place to go.
We will be sure to tell everyone how happy we were with the bottle shop.

As always the food and service was wonderful at the Lakes Resort. The newly update Bistro looks great.

Have been going there for a while for lunch with friends and the food has been good. However today we went and there is no Seniors menu anymore so we were very disappointed. As we are all pensioners we need to keep the costs down. Probably will go somewhere different next time.

Excellent wait staff, one waitress went out of her way to let me and others with dietary requirements know which food was suitable for us. Very helpful!

Was there for a BNI meeting. From the brief stay seems nice and professional, with everything you need for meetings and small conferences. Great breakfast too.

Nice comfortable place to catch-up with mates. Plenty of seating and space for reasonable size groups. Drinks are prices about right and the staff are plesent.

I've booked my 21st at the Lakes Resort Hotel and I could not be happier with the service I have received throughout the entire process. Natasha has been incredibly helpful the entire time and helped me so much, she has taken any stress and worries away and I cannot be more excited now. All the staff I have dealt with have been incredibly friendly and so welcoming. I'm so excited to be having my 21st at such an amazing location.

This hotel features a picturesque lakeside setting and it is a few minutes walk from the beach. The rooms and restaurant were great and it is a stones throw from Westfield.

Superb. I have stayed on three occasions recently and the service in both the accomodation and the food sections are exemplary. The complimentary breakfast is an absolute delight and the staff are nothing but super professional and very helpful, I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wasn't on a tight budget.

Newly refurbished with great large rooms. I like this facility.

The service couldn't be faulted. The in house bistro was excellent and our meals came within minutes, despite it being busy, the price was reasonable and we got priority seating due to staying in the hotel. The hotel overall was a good stay, we were a bit mislead with the 'heated' pool, it was very cold. Other than that the stay was enjoyable and I would recommend people to stay there. The room was an 'executive king spa room' and it was very spacious and well put together, the view was magnificent from the in room balcony.

Had a wonderful stay at this well located base for our activities in Adelaide.

Always able to get a table after the football. Good service and meals are good and reasonably priced.

I ate at Crusoe’s. The service was excellent. I ordered the atlantic salmon, but it did not seem cooked fresh. It may have been reheated or microwaved. My partner got the porterhouse. She asked for medium but it was served well done. She preferred it well done though, and it was not tough, so cannot complain.

Bistro provides high quality yet surprisingly affordable meals. One time I ordered my meal, and within one minute of sitting down it was served; the service was faster than the local Mcdonalds. Good views of the lake provide a welcoming atmosphere that would entice even upper class diners.
