I'm always loathed to share my grievances by way of on line review. I think it's best to resolve the issue face to face prior so that way negative feedback is not required, however I will share my recent experience at the R n R serviced apartments, Adelaide with the view that perhaps management or staff can consider the consistent feedback they receive about their practices I took the opportunity first to read the previous reviews to double check I wasn't being precious or hypersensitive. I noted the common theme that guests found the staff incompetent Beware if you have a hire car! Good lord I have never in all my days seen more narrow parking. The frustrating thing was guests and staff parked across the entrance prohibiting us from exiting the garage. I know it's a first world problem and I accept once or twice you could make concessions however this was every time. The bizarre thing was it was the hotel manager who continued to do it despite us articulating our grievance. It was really odd? I found it interesting however not dire that the toilets were upstairs away from the dining area. The house keeping was atrocious, one evening I commented on one of my travel companions having black feet after a shower. The black was from the grotty floor. The bed were not made properly and were basically just pulled up, the towels were not changed. The room just had a grotty unkept feel to it When we checked out staff attempted charging us for our 11 year old daughter sleeping in a spare bed? At no time at check in were we advised of the additional fee? It was ridiculous We tried to resolve this issue and the parking debacle with two staff members however the arrogant male manager in a non chalant manner told us that we should have just looked around for the person responsible for blocking us in. It was ridiculous and frustrating when we had to be somewhere on time. It's my view for what it is worth that management strongly heed the disappointing comments left by visitors.
