Luxe high end, spotlessly clean accommodation; every need satisfied; staff were very friendly and food was of a high standard. Rooftop bar was cool with a cosy indoor space. Overall a wonderful comfortable stay. Thank you Mayfair, we've stayed with you a couple times now and will definitely be back.

We booked Mayflower for high tea 🫖 for my Aunties 90th Birthday 🎂 celebration. They accommodated us even on a day that’s not high tea to surprise her for her big birthday. Staff were friendly and professional and enjoyed a special occasion together. Thank you.

We recently enjoyed a sparkling high tea at this lovely hotel. On arrival the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and filling. Excellent vegetarian options. The crockery used was just beautiful. But once the food was served we felt forgotten. For the next hour and a half we had to wave to staff to get their attention. We weren’t offered any tea or coffee until we finally managed to get someone’s attention. It wasn’t busy with several empty tables (there were covid related cancellations) and there seemed to be enough staff but they were servicing other tables and not ours. At the end we had 2 waitresses to our table in what seemed to be an effort to make up for the lack of service. It’s a lovely hotel and it was still a nice afternoon but it wasn’t as enjoyable or relaxing as it should have been due to the lack of service and our difficulties in getting staff attention.

Three girlfriends today had an amazing High Tea at The Mayfair. The service was outstanding food was delicious. So much to choose from. One of the girls is lactose intolerant and the food supplied was amazing. Thanks to the chef. The staff are absolutely first class and nothing is too much trouble. Amazing stay. Great location, accommodating staff and super quiet rooms with equally spacious and comfy beds. Restaurant and bistro food was a high standard.

I would recommend the Mayfair, the rooms are lovely. However, this is the second time we’ve stayed and I don’t think we’ll be back. Breakfast of an omelette and fried eggs on toast shouldn’t take an hour to be served. It was busy, I understand but the food was coming out so slowly, everyone in there was looking around wondering what was going on. Plenty of front of house staff so presumably a kitchen problem. Could’ve been easily rectified with a complimentary coffee and a quick “sorry for the delay” but … nothing. Sounds petty but like I say, we won’t be back.

Great hotel, great staff. Only complaint is the very soft beds (which many might like). Prefer firm mattresses.

Unclean room got gastro from room not cleaned right maid called me back so I called back and chased her down was ever so rude the mgr will not be returning there photos looked clean food was amazing and room service but nothing else sad no one in management called me.

The staff are fabulous, — so pleasent, friendly & helpful — like they are genuine not just being pleasent because they are paid to be, rooms are lovely, spacious & clean with really nice fittings. Heaps of Complimentary stuff which was a pleasant surprise, I was impressed.

Classic hotel in heart of Adelaide. Great service and wonderful staff.

My husband surprised me with a stay at the Mayfair for my birthday in March. It was obvious to us that that all the staff from Reception, to restaurant staff, from bar staff to cleaning staff, took so much pride in their work at the hotel. So much quality, relaxation and beauty in the building and the rooftop bar is amazing and inspiring. The hotel kindly provided us with a gorgeous sweets platter in our room and even a birthday card. Loved the handy proximity to Rundle Mall (and we couldn't hear the traffic from our room). The bathroom products (L'occitane) were the best I have ever come across, and we appreciated that locally sourced products were featured in the room service menu and that the mini bar was complimentary. Just so many thoughtful little touches to make you feel welcome and looked after — even when the valet delivered our car back to us they popped a couple of Mayfair bottles of water in our console for our trip home. Mayfair, to be honest I loved you as soon as I heard about you, and now that I have met you, you lived up to all my expectations and more, and I will never forget you. You truly deserve every accolade and award and recognition there is because I really felt my Mayfair experience was flawless (and I have stayed in a few hotels I'd prefer to forget…) Please keep it up — Adelaide is truly lucky to have you. See you later in the year for High Tea!

Nice hotel, great location and friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately housekeeping let us down. Second day, no refill of drinks and condiments from the mini bar — not even fresh bottles of water. All in all a pleasant stay.

The Mayfair hotel was an amazing hotel to stay at. The staff were lovely and always happy to help. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The included breakfasts were delicious and had a large variety. The location was also fantastic, being situated in the center of the city. Overall I would largely recommenced staying at the Mayfair Hotel.

We a been to Mayfair about 5 times Never fails to amaze us. Staff are great. Worth every penny.

Went on Friday night and puchased some vodka lime sodas. All seemed fine til on my second sip put the glass to my lips and noticed a 1cm wide chip in the glass. Dissapointed as I know this place takes its service seriously (plus $14 a vodka) went back to the bar and explained that I put this big chip in my mouth. The bar tender grabs the glass and pours the contents into a new glass and places it on the bar for me like it was fine outcome. I said I dont want the contents it could have glass still in it. He proceeded to make me look like a fool. Pretty dissapointed in the end and a poor reflection on customer service for a place that puts itself above the rest.

Function room and breakfast was good quality for a large number of people.

We got a room for our wedding night. The room was beautiful. The bathroom was stunning, the bath very spacious, and a great high pressure shower. The free mini bar was a nice surprise. It was a bit disappointing they didn't have gf pasta and there was an annoying mix up at breakfast, and as a result we only had 10 minutes to eat. Not sure if the mayfair is 5 stars, but comparing it to the 5-star intercontinental, it is 10 times more luxurious.

What a stunning hotel. The staff and security were so pleasant and friendly. The roof top bar was Incredible. The buffet breakfast was amazing. Could not have asked for a better experience! Thanks so much, we will definitely be back on our next trip to Adelaide!

With the exception of the two bottles of wine, it was a pleasant surprise to know that the mini bar was complementary. That was the icing on the cake to a beautiful modern hotel room. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop bar with an extensive selection of cocktails and spirits. Great for a nightcap. So conveniently located near the main shopping district too. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Adelaide.

The hotel was in a great spot. Right above a fun street with good nightlife. The room was pretty decent and everything worked fine. The bathroom needed a new bath tub but other than that everything was in a good condition. Can't really beat the location of this hotel. And also decently priced.

Absolutely amazing! Couldnt have had a better night. Went to dinner to celebrate 2 years of being with my partner which food and drinks were devine but the service was even better! Lovely workers. Then went to the hennessy bar for cocktails and again service was amazing but what toped our night was my partner of 2 years got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! Which the night still kept getting better as the staff came and congratulated us with hugs and a bottle of sparkling and took photos of us for memories! Was the best night I have ever had! We will be making it our tradition to go there every year for our anniversary and possibly our engagement party aswell! Thankyou to all staff! xx.

Adelaide's best kept secret. Loved my stay here. Central, quiet, top food and bars. If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to visit downstairs restaurant. Cake & coffee package, to die for!

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would. It is so beautiful and you are taken care of perfectly from the time you check in. We had the breakfast each morning and it was superb. They had an interesting little honey station which was cute and everything you could absolutely wish for cooked perfectly. The location is amazing just across the road from the Rundle Mall. Rooms are big and spacious the bathrooms are enormous. Definitely worth staying here if you go to Adelaide.

The bar on level 13 is great. Huge selection of drinks and some very talented staff. Very tidy building in a great location.

This is a very elegant hotel with very helpful and pleasant staff. The rooms are spacious and have the largest TVs I've seen in any hotel room. The fridge was stocked with complimentary snacks such as chocolate bars and soft drinks, a very classy touch. While the bathroom was clean and spacious, it took at least five minutes to regulate the temperature each time we used it. We also had the unfortunate experience of uninterrupted sleep as result of a very loud flag waving in the wind overnight creating a constant intermittent humming sound.

A beautiful hotel right in the centre of Adelaide. Adelaide has been missing a great hotel like it for many years. The staff were very friendly and the roof top bar is a great place for a drink. The reason for the 4 rating is that there is a smell of sewage in the hallways where the rooms are along with a dampness smell in our room which was unpleasant. Overall though it was a great place to stay.

The hotel inside looks magnificent, the rooms are set up fantastically and if you're looking for a good nights sleep the beds are to die for. Standard hotel gym for those inclined. The continental breakfast is very inclusive, it includes a range of local produce but also bacon, eggs and some other hot foods that must normally be ordered. If you wish to go to the rooftop bar make sure to dress appropriately or you won't be served however the cocktails are fantastic and with the effort.

Amazing bed and room. Service was exceptional and hints and tips from the concierge on places to go were great. One star off because the in room dining was not very good. Would definitely stay again.

This rooftop bar used to be excellent. Now it has trashy neons and a very different vibe. Still a solid view though and generally quite good service from knowledgeable bar staff.

Great boutique hotel. Best location for shopping and socialising. King coil beds are perfect.

Rooms are large and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern. This hotel has an excellent roof top bar with some great live music. Perfect place to spend a summer evening.

Could not fault anything about our stay or the service we received from every staff member from the moment we walked in to the time we left. Attention to detail was second to none. Will definitely be back and recommending to friends.

Nice and clean but level 3 lobby kinda smells. The rooftop bar is pretty cool. Pianist at the downstairs bar is a nice touch. There was a Mancunian on the piano with the most amazing Christian Laboutin loafers with a Love motif that I have ever seen. His musical skills and charming personality will bring us back to the Mayfair Hotel for sure.

Excellent cocktails and boutique beers. Tasteful, cosy setting. Nice views of the city from outdoor balconies. Class service. Not the cheapest drinks in Adelaide ($13 pints for locally brewed boutique pale ale) but worth every cent.

Lovely food. We were on the roof top. Staff happy to serve savory food but when asked to bring out a plate of dessert was reluctant to do so. Seemed very put out that he was asked. When the host of the party brought out dessert the waiter was quite disgusted that I was served the desert. I'm sorry but customer service is lacking!

Located in the heart of Adelaide, the Mayfair is a great hotel with what has been thus far one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. I also ordered room service and was so surprised at the quality of the food. The food was excellent, especially considering I ordered after hours. I highly recommend this hotel.

Far from a Five star experience. Breakfast cramped, crowded with little space between tables and the servery. If you want a barista coffee be prepared to pay extra on top of the $30+ dollar breakfast fee. Concierge service, apparently 2 should be available at all times, we sadly could never find them. When we did we were greeted with snide comments " of the cars been sitting here for a while! " front desk service, the simple skill of acknowledgement was missing, I don't mind waiting but at least a smile or a "wont be long" goes a long way. My wife and I both visit Adelaide for business on a regular basis, I would find it hard to return to the Mayfair in preference over some of the older but cheaper established hotels that have staff with better customer skills.

The comfiest beds around! I travel a lot and have stayed in a lot if hotels, bit when I come to Adelaide I always return the the Mayfair. The beds are amazing and the best night hotel sleep I've had. Other amenities are great too. Love the rooftop bar. The staff are amazing and the rooms are just great. If travelling for business it's a great setup with plenty of space to get stuff done.

A fabulous experience. Great staff, great room, great location. We spent 4 nights at the Mayfair and would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in Adelaide. Close to centre of the City, easy walk to Botanic Gardens, Zoo and Adelaide Oval. The hotel decor was very stylish, the room size was satisfactory with a comfortable bed and choice of pillows. Large flat screen TV was a pleasant addition. After checking out we were able to leave our bags and were offered an umbrella as showers were predicted upon our return the concierge arrange our transport to the airport.
