Quality hotel without being pretentious. Staff are helpful, rooms are a good size, well stocked mini bar and the bathrooms are bliss. Can't think of any other hotels where you can watch TV while in the bath, beds are blissfully comfortable and the location perfect.

This is a stunning hotel and my husband and I had one of the nicest meals at Culshaws. Definitely recommend.

Our room was beautiful, spacious and clean. The bathroom is huge with a fabulous deep bath perfect for a long hot soak on a cold Adelaide night. The complimentary expresso Martini in our room on arrival was a delicious surprise. The mini bar is packed with yummy local products and not ridiculously priced. The king bed was comfortable, view from our room of the hills was gorgeous at dusk. The 11am checkout is perfect after a bit of a sleep in and breakfast. We used our great state voucher to stay here and highly recommend it.

We booked for our anniversary specifically because of the rooftop bar and were really disappointed to find out only after checking in that it was closed for a private function. I tried to discuss this with the hotel but they weren't interested. The rooms are dated, you can't plug your phone charger in next to the bed and it's a gamble booking a balcony room as you might end up with a balcony facing the upark across the road. If you're thinking of booking and want to access the rooftop bar my advice is to call ahead.

Had a great stay during The Fringe. Close to everything, large spacious room with a bath, friendly staff and great breakfast to top it off too! Thank you for a wonderful night away from our kids …

We had a party to celebrate our recent wedding in the rooftop function space. It was a fantastic night with about 70 guests. The venue and food were perfect. We had a great experience planning our event with Nikki, including third-party room styling and photography. The staff on the night were also excellent. Highly recommended.

The Majestic Roof Top was fansatsic. The room and garden was simply stunning. Th event ran very smoothly and was completey taken care of by the fanstatsic staff and functions cooridators. I was able to relax and enjoy the evening. All my guests compliments the venue and in particular the amazing food! I would recommend this venue to everyone.

I had a great time at the hotel. The staff were courteous and kind. Very freindly atmosphere.

We had planned to stay here about 13 years ago but plans were put on hold. July 2018 ended up being when we finally stayed the night. We had a lovely relaxing time here. Had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and the food was great. There was a convention happening in the building and about 30 minutes into dinner the restaurant area was full and became quite noisy. Adelaide has quite a few options for nights away and I would happily put this in the top 7.

Incredibly central place to stay with short walking distances to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are very clean and the service is wonderful. If you have a car make sure you look into car parking options.

Prime location in the heart of Adelaide City, so a very easy walking distance to everything. The rooms have a very luxurious feel with an enormous king size bed. Beautifully clean bathroom with separate shower & bath. And so quiet! No clunking doors or elevator noises and even though the streets of Adelaide are always quite busy, the noise from outside was minimal. Perfect. We had an excellent stay.

The majestic roof garden hotel is nestled in Adelaides east end with some of our cafes, bars and resteraunts at your door, our favourite being Nola bar. The hotel's location on Frome road is quiet but close to everything, expecially our east facing room. The room itself was lovely and clean, very comfortable for us. We didn't try the food but the menu had good variety and was reasonably priced. Hot water was also essentially instant which was very nice. Only complaint is there's no price list for the mini bar!

Provided the service I expected. Room was nice. Located very close to many shopping and eating options. The roof is nice, Majestic is a bit of an oversell. If price is right, take the jump but it wasn't a venue that wowed me during my time there.

Excellent staff and the room I stayed, which is actually in level 1, was something I have not seen before. Truly value for your money. I recommend this hotel and walking distance from the main mall and lot of food cuisine selections.

Nice and comfortable Hotel in Adelaide. We slept two nights before going to Kangaroo Island and coming back. The room was very nice and the breakfast was very good. The breakfast well, the dining room is small but recollect. The street where the hotel is is not a big deal, but it is very central.

We have a fantastic stay in this hotel. Relaxing bath while watching the t. V. They have an open door from the bath to the launch room. It's unique. Very clean and spacious room love it. And they have a free nespresso machine in the room with capsule for free, how good is that?

Great place stay when visiting Adelaide very central to everything all within walking distance. Staff really friendly and make you feel welcomed suggest to get a room with a balcony room very spacious and comfortable as well as clean nice bathroom facilities.

The rooms are very spacious and clean just like the bathroom with a shower cabin.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and absolutely loved it. The room was lovely, the bathroom was luxurious and the king size bed comfy. We were moved upon check in to a quiet room with a view and balcony, and we were also sent some complimentary room service desserts! We will be back sooner rather than later.

Really comfortable stay and lovely rooms. The staff were really helpful too, and the buffet breakfast was tasty. Lots of nice cafes nearby too and within walking distance of much of the city. Make sure to check out the room garden space.

Horrible not once over two days did the door electric card work up and down to the service desk every time I left the room 6th floor : (to say I was angry is putting it mildly! Door was and no doubt still is faulty! My room may as well been in the cellar 6th floor no window no fresh air but my work colleague on the 4th floor had a balcony and outside door quiet a nice room a world apart from my nightmare dungeon! Only got home today so having this pop up so soon I'm not sugar coating the experience and I've never before left a bad rating for any motel I've stayed and I usually upto 3 motels a week around the country! People are nice and maybe my room may have been the room one step up from sleeping in the hallway and just about had to.

One Of The Best. Undoubtedly one of the best Hotels I've stayed in, regardless of price or Star Rating Perfectly situated in the East End of Adelaide, for 5 nights during the busy festival season. Spacious room and well thought our bathroom (a real rarity these days). Very little noise from the street, halls or other rooms, and pretty much the most comfortable bed I've slept on. Ever. Exceptional friendly service from all staff from the moment I made the booking 6 months prior, until collecting our bags they stored for a few hours after the 11am checkout. The rooms were cleaned and organised meticulously on a daily basis, even organising and straightening my pile of shoes into pairs. While we did not eat in the restaurant, the room service was fast, great value and excellent quality food. Maybe a couple of extra, simple menu options like a Margarita Pizza and some wedges. But that's just penny pinching. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again next time we're in Adelaide. Also for the BEST available rate. Call or email the hotel directly. Forget the websites where you pay upfront. None of those sites came close. Or even the hotels own website…

Had a fantastic 2 night stay. Rooms were marvelous very well appointed. Only downside would be the amount of light that comes in from the outside all night made it hard to have a decent night sleep. Restaurant was superb had the best lamb dinner I had ever eaten.

The hotel I loved, the large rooms and great wardrobe the modern TV and Mini bar. The only downside is that the cafeteria closes and we didn't get to see it open for lunch or breakfast as we had tour very early. It has a terrace to carry out events.

This hotel was awesome. I stayed there recently during the Tour Down Under event. The Staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming and the beds were SUPER comfortable. Although, what really did it for me was the pre-set air conditioning temperature! AMAZING! It was over 40 degrees when I arrived and the staff had preset the air con in the room to nice and cool, such great service! Really don't get this service these days at hotels, these guys set the new standard for me.

Visited the Roof Top Garden for drinks but didn't realise there is no bar on the roof. Drinks were bought downstairs in the bar and taken up. There is an internal phone on the roof to call the restaurant for food. Great views of the hills (east) but no view for sunset.

Perfect location, lovely and comfortable rooms. Room service is incredible as it comes from the chef at Culshaw's. Views are not spectacular (except from the roof garden) but you won't care.

Great boutique hotel with good quality rooms, nice fit out — and quiet given the location. Great place for romance (close to great restaurants), or as a surprisingly good business stay for a reasonable price. Only problem is parking — they offer self park or valet parking… I’ve found their valet parking to be a bit slow moving cars of an evening (with the car staying many hours in the limited street parking even though you’ve paid for secure parking)

Great downtown location. Rooms are gorgeous they include shower separate bathtub and private balcony. The morning breakfast buffet has a ton of variety. I've stayed there three times in the past 2 months and I can't think of a single criticism for this place.

I came here for work and have had good service throughout. I called the hotel to let them know I would arrive late and staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy, fast, and friendly at 22:30. The room was clean and very well furnished, and I had a very pleasant night's sleep. And the price I found was below $150 per night! I would definitely look here for a room the next time I come back to Adelaide.

Great value and a nice, clean room. Fantastic location. However, our travel companion Bear (a stuffed bear) was left tucked into bed with a note, welcoming the cleaners with implicit instructions to tuck him Back in. We were distraught to return to find bear left out on top of the fully made bed, with note left on top of him! He did not look comfortable at all : (

Dinner with friends, we were seeking something a bit quieter and upmarket from the Rundle Street fare. Menu was contemporary and showcased South Australian produce, great match of wines and sensational desserts.

The Hotel was fancy and stylish and the room was comfortable and affordable. I will be staying here again if fhe opportunity comes.

Beautiful views, very attentive staff and a truly private 'private function' without being locked away from the world. Food was nice as well, but I'd advise a multi course package as the servings are conservative.

The Majestic Rooftop was recommended to us, for a last minute booking in Adelaide. Rooms and service were amazing, incredible vale for a twin share, four star room at $118 dollars. Also, the staff were absolutely incredible. When our car broke down, the staff generously arranged for our car to be towed to the hotel and stored in the valet parking area for minimal charge. Especial thanks to Shaun for making this happen! Would recommend the Majestic Rooftop to anyone.

Lovely people, clean spacious rooms. My advice would be to ask for a balcony room on the Frome St side as they open onto the street. I spend a week a month here and always walk away happy. Only downside is the 'gym'. Not really sure you can call it that.

It is in a great location being very close to the town centre and all the Staff were very friendly. However! the guest laundry machines did not work and looking at the reviews this has been the case for quite some time. On my return to England I found that we had been charged on my credit card for a continental breakfast that we had not had. Still in dispute over that one. This has caused me to mark the Hotel down. Adelaide was a great place though.

Found a good deal on their website for a free upgrade to an executive suite. Room was nice, clean, with comfy bed and a cool movable screen that opened the tub to the rest of the room. Had a small glitch during check-in where they could not find my reservation. But that was resolved quickly. Staff was very courteous and apologetic about the problem. I downgraded them slightly in this review because a few things needed maintenance. The toilet valve stuck and needed to be jiggled. Also, one of the guest laundry dryers did not work right. No offer was made to refund my laundry money. They were apologetic, however. I would definitely stay here again despite the glitches.
