Wow this a wonderful place to stay, The rooms are clean, neat and tidy. I would highly recommend this Motel. The owners are very friendly.

Avoid at all costs. The Manager is extremely rude with zero respect towards Woman. He made my stay a very uncomfortable one. On several occasions I would turn around and he would be standing behind me just staring at me saying things under his breath.
It gives me the creeps just thinking about it. Very very uncomfortable experience.

This is not a safe place to stay. The Manager is aggressive towards his guests, staff and even young children, it's absolutely disgusting. It is a very uncomfortable place to be and I thought it was necessary to warn others.

Great little motel, hands down THE BEST mattress I have ever slept on, it was softer than a cloud. Clean and cosy room with small kitchenette, smart TV and strong Wi-Fi for streaming. Owner was a nice chap who was very accomadating as I had arrived in a hurry for a family emergency not knowing how long I would be there for, plus it is reasonably close to the hospital.

Great rooms with big Tvs and super comfortable beds. Manager and staff very friendly!

Have no hesitation in recommending the Billabong. Have been staying there since 2005. Am pleased it is up running again after the horrific Townsville flooding early this year, 2019.
Beds are very comfortable, units are self contained, with cooking facilities, being well maintained.
Off street parking is available for every room.
Management are not backwards in coming forwards when it comes to helping you out.

The managers Brad and Georgie are amazing, they go above and beyond!
We have been staying here for 4 weeks now due to a family member being in hospital and will be here for some time yet.
They have been so kind and helpful, they are such beautiful people and nothing is to much for them.

What a great place to stay we came down for the weekend and reception staff were amazing very kind and helpful. We had to bring a trailer down with us and they were able to hold it secure for us while we went out and watched the footy.

We had travelled all day from brisbane. Went to cairns for work and turned around and started driving back so after over 20 hours plus of driving we needed a motel with late check in. Made a call to them and they allowed us to come straight away and had the motel room ready to go with airon on and everything. Would highly recommend for familys. The kitchenette is perfect and king bed as well. Great service very friendly.

Looks can be deceiving. Most rooms updated with great beds and super clean. Very friendly people who look after you. Not expensive at all.

Seems to be too many cars for the amount of rooms/car parks. If im gonna be paying $270 for a room I expect a car park outside my door. Prob need to monitor car parking.

This is the best motel we have ever stayed at in Townsville, always clean, rooms are nice, kids love the pool, and the staff are lovely… Would recommend for your next stay to stay at the Billabong Motel Townsville…

We stayed for 12 days and found our unit with kitchenette very comfortable and clean. Very comfortable beds and pillows! The owners and all staff were very helpful during our stay. Washing machines, clothes driers and outside hanging lines available.
Situated a few blocks from a small shopping centre with supermarket.
The bus stop is right outside which is useful for those without a car — connections to the City or to Nathan Shopping areas.
The outdoor area around the pool and spa is very pleasant and screened from the road by a well tended garden.
