Perfect location, a few steps to food outlets. Walk across the road to the beach. Walk along the Strand and enjoy Fish and chips from the kiosk or gelato, sit and relax and enjoy the cool breeze overlooking the water. Lovely!

Location location location, on the Esplanade. Also a new fit out right through, come bed and friendly staff.

Great place to stay, is my go to for Townsville trips. Kids love the short walk to the park also.

As a family we have stayed at The Beach House Motel multiple times in various rooms. All stays have been met by fantastic service and immaculate rooms. Cannot speak highly enough of this business.

On booking this motel recently I had read lots of reviews from surrounding motels and this one definitely was exactly what the reviews said. On check-in the staff were very friendly and helpful. The motel is in a fantastic location, walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants. Price was the best value I could find in the area and the Motel was very clean. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable and clean. Highly recommend if you are looking for affordable accommodation in a great location.

The room was beautifully renovated, it was very modern and clean. The Wi-Fi was quite bad tho, only usable in front of the apartment at okay speeds (they use 2 routers for the entire 2-story complex)

Great location on The Strand close to eateries and Coles supermarket. Friendly manager. Easy parking. Good rates. Clean although not new. No safe but room had a microwave.

The bed is great, service was good. Bathroom was large. They have a pool, but we didn't use that on this visit, perhaps the next one on the way back down the coast.

My cousin from UK and myself stayed for 3 nights the position is Awesome she could not stop raving over view and how central it was to everything. Our unit had everything we needed down to paper every day Julie in Office said just ask if we needed anything. I have stayed there several times before even better since refurbishment and have alway been very happy with my stay.

We enjoy coming here each year! The location is close to eateries, the famous Seaview Hotel, Julietts, shopping and the wonderful Strand Esplanade! The friendly family owned business caters for all and is good value. We will be back next year on our way North!

Fantastic beach front location in the prime section of the strand amongst restaurants and cafes and even Coles supermarket in a walking distance. Rooms have everything you would need for a fairly longer stays on a reasonable price with a shared laundry area which I found a tad expensive if you're doing only small washes. Friendly and helpful staff are also on site at all times. We were looking for a spot close to the beach and so we don't drive around at all and it couldn't be better than this.

Awesome service. Excellent location! Spotless and comfy rooms with all the conveniences of home. Heaps of power points. Do yourself a favor and have the home cooked breakfast! Delicious! Highly recommend this gorgeous place. We'll be back every time!

Our stay at the Beach House Motel was beyond our expectations. Wonderful staff, close to shops, clubs and wonderful places to eat. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you again for a great relaxing week.

The Managers were so helpful, friendly & accommodating & I can't thank them enough. The location of the motel is awesome, The Strand is a very busy & popular place & great for kids. My only negative would be that I would've liked to have a bit more space in the adjoining family size room we had.

Clean, bright, and comfortable. Hosts John and Theresa were very friendly and helpful as was Leanne who greeted us on arrival and was happy to answer questions and make recommendations of attractions and restaurants. The situation of the motel on The Strand provided lovely walking opportunities and close proximity to Magnetic Island ferry. Thanks for a lovely stay.

More expensive than motels elsewhere in Queensland, but it provides everything you need. Tea/coffee, fridge, good shower and a funny little pool in the front. Not stylish nor slick, but does the job.
