Highly recommend RACV, we just stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our wedding an anniversary and couldn’t fault it! Staff are friendly and did some beautiful things to make our stay special, amenities are great and the view is lovely! We will be back for sure and will bring our 2 kids next time they will love it! Thanks again guys!

Absolutely love the facility.

Buffet breakfast, ameneties and pool were fantastic but to say this resort is 5 star is a stretch. Decor and rooms are outdated and beds uncomfortable. Barista-made coffee tasted more like hot chocolate and when this was mentioned I was told to 'stir the coffee'. There was an issue with our room service dinner order (it got lost) and then when we finally received our meals (2 hours later) we only ate them because we were so hungry. Chicken was dry and steak wasn't great either. Three small portion mains came to $90 (with a $5 'service' charge thrown in). Our room was booked for 3 people, yet there was only one chair and only 2 coffee cups. Usually I enjoy leaving positive reviews but when you pay over $400 for a one night stay you expect a little more than this. Special mention goes to one of the porters, an older gentleman who noticed us struggling with our luggage trolley and ran to our assistance.

Love this place and upgraded to executive level however lack of vegetarian options in the lounge is a deal breaker.

Great for All ages, families, couples, singles, and elderly! So much to do and so many food and drink options. Great big swimming pool, swim spa and kids water park and pool with slides. Highly recommended.

Very peaceful and relaxing with great views of the Gold Coast and this only day one of three.

My husband and I had the pleasure of attending a high tea on the 21st floor today. We were welcomed by Marilyn and chef Kristy introduced our culinary delights, all staff are very welcoming and very helpful. The view was amazing not to mention the food was very enjoyable. Well done RACV and your wonderful staff for making our day one to remember.

Great playground and swimming pool, we always have a great time staying at this hotel. Clean and nice ambiance, friendly staff. My family and I would love to stay here again!

Amazing! Such a beautiful resort and so great for families, there was so much to do the pools, slides & playground were a huge hit, we couldn’t fault anything. The rooms were clean with a great view of the Gold Coast. The staff were lovely too. We can’t wait to come back again!

ONE SPA REVIEW — The Gold Coasts best kept secret! Absolutely amazing five star experience that did not disappoint! Every aspect of my time spent at One Spa was professional, relaxing and luxurious down to the finest detail. The staff are lovely, warm, welcoming yet professional. The facilities are exceptional, everything is very clean and very well maintained with a high attention to detail. I have been to every day spa on the Gold Coast and this is by FAR the best. Who ever is managing the day to day operations of this spa should be congratulated as they are doing an exceptional job, their eye for detail and perfectionism shows at every turn. I would recommend you arrive a little before your treatment and make use of the relaxation lounge. Lots of comfy, privately situated recliners with refreshments, binge worthy books and a beautiful outdoor balcony overlooking the lake and wildlife. It’s hard to believe you are only 5km from Surfers Paradise. Your own private change room featuring full bathroom with luxury shower and amenities, robe, slippers and more is a real bonus to freshen up (if you wish) before leaving. I cannot wait to return. Thank you One Spa for giving me some much needed relaxation time.

We had a fantastic family getaway! The room was very nice and spacious with a beautiful view of the golf course. The pools, water slides and playground were amazing and all the food we had in the resort was very nice. Definitely will be back!

Wonderful staycation with the kids. The pool being heated was great. The bouncing pillow was popular with both the big and little ones. Breakfast buffet was delicious, in room and resort dining otherwise was flat and we chose to use uber eats instead.

Came to the high tea today everything was fantastic except for the food which was great except not enough sandwiches too many sweets something hot would have been good.

On March 23rd we had an engagement party held in the Cypress room with 120 guests who all had a fantastic night. The staff were excellent and considerate throughout the whole evening and went over and above. We would highly recommend to anyone wishing to have an event for it to be held here at the Royal Pines. We look forward to having our next event there ourselves.

Great place to stay on the Goldy with excellent facilities! Only let down was the underwhelming Hokey Pokey Sundae that did not quite reach the expectations of the uncomfortably hungry purchaser. After perusing the selection available in the over priced mini-fridge and being thoroughly disappointed, I began salivating at the prospect of nibbling on a sugary snack. My eyes naturally gravitated to the room service menu which I was delighted to find featured an old favorite in …the Hokey Pokey Sundae. Delivery was prompt and executed with great finesse. However, I was immediately let down by the presentation of the sundae as it didn't give off a fun and racous vibe beffiting the hokey pokey name. The ratio of icecream to popcorn was the real loser of the whole debacle as my sweet tooth didn't know what to think. Overall, while it didn't ruin my enjoyable week at the Royal Pines, the underwhelming dessert and accompanying $5 tray surcharge was a real kick in the guts. Will definitely stay again, but will choose the chilled milk and cookies next time around!

I got married here nearly 10 years ago and have been back several times and it’s always been great but recently I’ve been in touch via email about our 10 year anniversary the communication I received was very poor so I won’t be rushing back anytime soon!

Good sized venue rooms, Hydrate bar has a great atmosphere and cool looking pool tables to have a game with your mates, haven't personally stayed in the resort so I can't comment on that side of the resort. Only wish they had a courtesy bus as it's a little out of the way to get to personally. Drinks are average prices but wish they had a happy hour or drink specials.

Beautiful place to stay. Amazing food and great service by the amazing staff. The only reason they are receiving a 3 stars because of the lifts. As part of a conference having to miss part of it due to all 4 lifts not working. A 15 minute wait for the lifts was not good. The staff were so helpful taking us up in the service elevator and coordinating with reception staff — so they worked above and beyond.

I stayed at the resort for a week in Feb. It was probably the off peak season so it was very quiet. The room was spacious and the view of the golf course was gold. The facility started showing a bit of age though. The staff were great, friendly and willing to go extra miles. The EV at $30 per day offered great value for money. Highly recommended.

Held a breakfast morning seminar at the function room where nearly 100 attended ReGroup Solutions inaugural event. The facilities were excellent. The staff were superb; both in terms of technical set up and waiting on guests. A truly successful event held at stunning location. The RACV Royal Pines is absolutely the perfect venue for professional business functions. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a short (or long) get away for small to medium families. We have a room with 2 double beds, which fits mun, dad, & 2 small children easily. The buffet breakfast is very filling & the pool (even in winter) is a great hangout spot. Huge footy field & on-site activities for reasonable prices means you don't have to leave… if you don't want to… A chapel, function rooms, games area, & restaurants are the tip of the iceberg at a wonderful holiday spot that my family will definitely be returning to! Oh, and I need to mention the kids club. 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (I think) for a moderate price including dinner! Wow!

Went to Royal Pines to celebrate a 100 year birthday. An afternoon High Tea was served for 14 guests. The food was excellent and the service superb. Amazing views of the Gold Coast from the restaurant on the 21st floor where the event was celebrated. Handy undercover free parking.

Royal Pines, the RACV has worked hard to make the resort a great one with very good facilities, family friendly with children's pools, tennis etc and for the adults. Good bars and restaurants. The rooms I found were spacious with awesome views. The golf course is so much better than what I had expected love the break and golf trip.

Great service. Clean fresh rooms and friendly staff. This hotel is surrounded by one of Queensland’s best golf courses and caters for the business functions and conferences. Located a short drive from Surfers Paradise and close to the M1 Highway so you can access the airport or Brisbane easily. There is also some great amenities for kids and the family so you can enjoy your conference and the family can still enjoy all that the Gold Coast has to offer.

Our family love this place. Really like the staff. They are very nice and friendly. The play area for the Childrens is fun. The kids swimming area is heated but not the adults.

We had a huge multi-day corporate function there. The place is very well set up for large events like this. Friendly kind staff very enthusiastic with lots of smiles.

Omg the best place for couples. I like how it's away from all the noise. The staff are so friendly. The golf view was incredible. The room was big with clean bed and the spa so perfect. The staff have organised the flowers and the bring up the gift for my boyfriend when we left for a dinner, see the photos, they have done such a great job. I wouldn't be more happy of what they have done for me. Thanks a lot RACV resort and definitely coming back.

Fantastic hotel with lots of parking. If you don't want to be right in the middle of Surfers Paradise it's ideal. Often when you stay in the middle of Surfers, you find the hotel as limited parking and the streets around the hotel can be noisy. I stay here all the time a day always enjoy my stay.

Great staff. Very helpful. Beautiful ambience, play area, swimming pool, golf course and mountain view. All and all a great family relax time.

It's a nice resort, very friendly and polite staff, very nice for kids. Things that I don't like was the room service was a bit below average. First day not cleaning the floor and no shampoos, second day didn't replace the empty napkin with new one. Furniture needs update. A/C can't go below 21 degrees.

Quite a big hotel. Conference facility quite good. Suites are very spacious. Lovely views. Breakfast buffet didn’t feel very extensive. Club lounge food offering could be better.

Good food good facilities no need to leave the resort. Staff are very friendly especially when picking up my dry cleaning at 12am. Same day dry cleaning ia amazing when you have an awards night the same day. Hotel rooms are sufficient I stayed in a twin superior room and it was clean, spacious and cable TV is included with option of renting movies. Shower is good enough and it has a bath for kids also. Pool looked amazing but just bad weather when we went and gym facilities are state of the art.

This room is a few beautiful, but strange did not put bathrobes, and did not put Bath Jian liquid, only 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 body lotion. And 2 pieces of Jian, 2nd are the same.

Good beautiful place good big piece of green space, but the triangle building, and very unique every house can see the scenery outside, corridor design is very unique, but every time go downstairs and then back to the room, as if lost must find several times to find their own room.

Firstly the golf course always poses a challenge for even the single digit player. The wind is just about always blowing making things even that much more tougher. Just hit'em straight and don't ever miss an approach shot to the left or right or short or long; simple.
The pro shop is well stocked with lots of clothing options and the staff in/out are all top notch. There are two covered tennis courts that convert the summer sun
to manageable shade. Great for those 30C…+ days.
The clubhouse bar keeps things going after the game (even if 10 a. M. ), regardless of the hour!

Fantastic course. Layout was challenging but not unreasonable. Staff came out and moved slow players out of way so the rest of us could continue through. Kudos.

Love this place! From the moment you arrive to the moment we left, we felt treated 5 star all the way. Friendly staff who were extremely helpful, including delivering fresh sheets on-demand. Food was excellent. Kids facilities. Especially the pool, kept our 1yr old and 3yr old very entertained for 4 days. Golf course was simply brilliant and very accommodating of our group. With an RACQ member discount this is simply the absolute bargain place to stay! Wasn't our first time and won't be our last!

Just visited Kalinda seafood buffet. $59 per head and worth every single cent! The quality of the food was amazing… fresh and changed with NEW freshly cooked food very regularly. Was a great change 2 buffet experiences in a long time. No dry… cold… shrivelled up food here JUST FRESH DELICIOUS food. Gr8 service frm all staff as well.

I had the good fortune to perform a wedding here last week. I cannot rate highly enough the service offered to the bride and groom and other suppliers including myself. I visited the room the bride was staying in and it looked lovely. Families were enjoying splasing around in the pools, riding bikes in the manicured gardens and enjoying afternoon tea in the foyer. I would highly recommend this as a lovely wedding venue as well as a perfect resort for families.

We are currently staying at the Royal Pines and it is amazing. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, nothing is to much trouble. The resort facilities are fantastic with great pools and a kids water park. The playground is amazing. The food is incredible and very good quality and the buffet breakfast is to die for. Such a great resort, we'll definitely be back.

Staff where fabulous and accommodating, apparently the room service steak was off the charts amazing, our views where epic! We even got to bring in the new year watching the fireworks from our balcony. It was relaxing as it could have been. The things that bothered us, the bars where closed for 3 days 1st 2nd and 3rd of Jan. Being a young couple it's nice to come back from a busy day out and have a few drinks, but that options wasn't available on our holiday anyway. Then there's and room service staff wanting to come into your room when delivering food, they felt very intrusive… I also might want to add, getting block put curtains could be of help, being that it sun rises at 4:30am in qld, they often meant we where awake because of the sun belting through the window. Oh and the temperature control in the rooom We found extremely hard to control, we where either to cold or to hot as it blew straight on to the bed.

We had an amazing breakfast alfresco, facing the beautiful golf course. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the food was so so delicious. I highly recommend going there.

A very nice hotel. I used it as a base with the family to the theme parks. You do need a car since the hotel is far from most things. The pool area is great for the kids. Service was great but thought the buffet was overpriced for the items on offer (Breakfast and Dinner).

Had the chance to see the Australian PGA Championship being played at Royal Pines. Being the third round of the championship there were some fantastic golfers on course. The whole Resort is outstanding. Plenty of adequate parking available for everyone.

Amazing venue. Entertainment was varied and top class band. Service and wait staff were superb. Catering and food was first class. Hydrate bar was also great to wind down the night. Overall it was a excellent venue.

Set on one of the Gold Coast's best golf courses. Beautiful modern decor, lots of well thought out indoor and outdoor function spaces. And just opposite Sunland's Concourse Marina – Worth a visit!

The grounds a maintained well. Bathrooms were fancy but not well stocked, no soap or paper towels. Some of the grounds are hard to get to. It's like walking through a maze.

The corner spa suite with views over the golf course was fabulous. Buffet breakfast was so extensive I couldn't eat until dinner. Pools and golf course are beautifully maintained.

Great place but a bit out from the beaches and main promenade and with roadworks etc it takes a while to get to the beaches etc. Had some housekeeping issues that marred our stay rooms not cleaned. Towels not replaced. Cups and spoons not washed properly. Manager charlie comped our supper from prevoius night to make up for it and moved us to better room when we had to extend our stay by one night. Great facilities and very good breakfast. Great views of promenade skyline. Rooms are very good despite the poor housekeeping incident. Good selection of restaurants.

This was a superb accommodation and very comfortable. The food was of a high standard and quantity. They could possibly benefit from a shuttle service into popular locations.

Amazing golf course. Unfortunately doesn't cater well for amateur golfers. Marshels are very quick to tell you to "hurry up" so you don't slow down the group behind. A fair call but perhaps they should allow more time between groups or at least allow for different skill levels.

I went for a medical seminar. The venue was easy to find, well signed, comfortable, and very efficiently run. AV was excellent. And the food was delicious. A great evening meeting spot.

We visited for hubby's 50th and stayed in the Executive Spa Suite. Excellent view of both the city and the mountains. We had access to the Executive Lounge with drinks, canopies and a buffet breaky all included. Golf, Day Spa and a nature walking track are just a few of the facilities. Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Rooms were clean and comfortable, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It's a nice self contained resort with heaps of activities if you are tired of the GC beaches. There are ⛳ for golfers, one spa for those who wanna pamper themselves and heaps for the kids sagway, orb balls and wet fun pool. The rooms are huge and it suits different needs m. Nice restaurant n cafe not to forget lounges for business meeting. The resort itself has a convention hall for exhibitions and business conference. 740 outside the main road will bring you to paradise and back if you decided not to take the pay shuttle.

Great in good weather… not do great in bad. Nice pools and food but nothing to do if it rains.

The rooms were spacious, the food and everything were too class but my biggest complaint was the price. I personally would never be able to afford the accommodation. Thanks to the in laws for a great weekend.

We came here for lader clay shooting and segway activities. It was surprising fun! It's suitable for both children and adults. I would certainly recommend it. The place looks amazing, I wish we could've spent more time there.

I stayed here for my sisters wedding with my family and it was not a very pleasent experience. When we first arrived the concierge did not not offer any assistance carrying bags etc. After we asked for some help he told us to take the trolley and go do it ourselves. After arriving at the room the bride was staying in, we firstly noticed the mould growing on the ceiling and walls in multiple places. The carpet was dirty and stained. The tiling and glass on the balcony and bathroom were mouldy and really quite disgusting. Obviously with the star rating of Royal Pines we were not expexting this. Really disappointed for the money we paid.

We love the Italian restaurant here and with very reasonable prices for both food and drinks its one of our Friday evening go to restaurants. For special occasions we have been to Videre at the top of the resort. This is one of my favourite Gold Coast restaurants. Fantastic service, awesome cuisine, and a unique view of the Coast will bring me back here for more special occasions.

Great hotel with awesome rooms. Coffee staff (at pool and cafeteria) can be bit on the slow side but end result is good. The highlight was easily the Clubhouse — good food and nice location. The gym staff were great and came up with great suggestion for local run track.

The new RACV health club is the worst in customer service. I have been to few gyms across Gold Coast. I liked the newly built gym within the Royal Pines Resort, however few staff members are extremely rude and changed terms and conditions after I paid for full membership in advance for the year (over $1100). I would recommend any one looking to join this is consider other gyms in the area. This gym is expensive and below average at customer service.

Stayed here for a conference recently and was very impressed with the room rates, the function center, the food and the friendly staff. Being several kilometers back from the noise and glitz of Surfers has it's advantages! A very enjoyable stay!

I really enjoy the variety of everything here and the rooms are very nice. However if you tell me I have free Wi-Fi I expect it to be useable, it was so slow I couldn't even do my work (Unacceptable if i'm on a business trip) The internet downgrades it to a 3.5 stars for me but I put 4 because 3.5 isn't an option. The internet wouldn't matter if I was only coming for a holiday so I guess its not that bad but the fact this place is basically for business trips is just bad.

Royal Pines would be one of the most overlooked resorts on the Gold Coast, it has just about everything you could want from a resort, along with the super staff and beautiful decor throughout the newly refurbed hotel, immaculate grounds it is truly a great getaway. Very highly recommended.

My wife and I recently played a round of Golf followed by a meal. Staff were attentive, very clean. Food was great. And good value for money. Well done.

What a beautiful resort and grounds. We were there for a wedding but stayed for 2 days. The staff were so friendly that it really stood out. They were all the same whether a housemaid when you left your room or reception or bar staff. I couldn't recommend this resort highly enough. If you want chill out, have a swim in the large outdoor pool, play golf, drink beer, ride a Segway, you can do it all at Royal Pines. And no they didn't pay me to say this, I was just very impressed with the resort all over.

Have given myself some time to comback on this problem, not my usual form, but. We booked for Xmas lunch based on the information provided which featured a Seafood Buffet The table for 5 adults 2 chindren and an infant. Promised were presents for the children and as you are aware several other enticing packaged items. Disappointedly the seafood buffet consisted of very undesized prawns, steamed tastless fish, very samll oysters and crabs (very dried from freezer storage) and some other token stuff. What remained was the meat and sweets. No consulation at all. We anticipated a great Xmas lunch spoilt with an aray of seafood, such as Oysters Kilpatrick, lobster moutnay, larger prawns and many varieties of fish. For the $160 per head adults kids $80, I had to chase the waiters on several occasions to replenish drinks and cutlery as they were removed. The waiters seemed more intent on clearing us out and emptying the table top. Definitely not personal service. The kids did not get presents and we were told they all went the night before, although those in the front of thee queue were OK. The dining room was late opening and it was 12:30 before were were settled (Noon to 3:00pm booking). Mind you at 3.00 (no early call) the cut off was exactly with no overlap. All in all this was a 'rip off' of an experience Bill and Liz WARD 3 Antipodes Close Pacific Pines 4211.
