Beautiful view, very dissatisfied with the small room, no spoons to make a drink with, no cold water, no hotel manual and the bed was 2 singles pushed together, got my money once but never again and I will be happy to pass my thoughts to friends.

Perfect location for a great holiday. 2 min walk to the beach, restaurant, bars, clubs tram all within 5min walk of the hotel. The staff so welcoming and helpful. Definitely would come here again.

Stayed here for a girls weekend away and couldn’t recommend it more. The minute we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile and professional manor. Our experience only got better from here. Bar staff were amazing! Very friendly and talkative, receptionist would always greet us when we left and returned, and they were extremely helpful when couldn’t figure out the shower. Every one of your staff members we came in Contact with were incredible. We didn’t catch the name of this one particular lady but she was amazing! Made us feel so at home and always had a good conversation and laugh with us. She has shorter wavy hair and potentially kiwi! She honestly deserves a pay rise! Beautiful lady.

It is a decent accomodation, but really lovely atmosphere. The view from the window was great. I loved staying at Vibe.

Awesome service from the hotel! We arrived early and asked for possible early checked in. The staff were happily let us do that without extra charge. And due to errors show on their system, the staff have to relocate us to 3 different rooms, but every time the room just get better, and they even gave us a box of choc for keep changing rooms for us. Amazing service, highly recommend.

Everything was perfect! Location is really good, breakfast was great both mornings. Pool/bar area was lovely and very friendly staff. Room was clean and amazing views on 17th floor. Reception was very helpful! Will definitely be back.

Checking in was a confusing and unfriendly experience. Weird atmosphere with lots of things closed. I rang to ask about parking days before arriving and was told one was provided if available and when I got there was told it was $30, even though it was pretty much half full. Room smelt weird and right on a main road. Was very cheap but I wouldn’t stay again.

Love this hotel. This is now my partner and I's 2nd time staying here and both times staff have been really nice and very easy to deal with. The rooms are nice beds comfy. This time we actually got free upgrade from a regular room to a studio room complimenty. The hotel is very central to surfers paradise making everything easy to get to. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We will be back for sure. Thank you vibe hotel.

Me and my wife stayed here for the weekend it was a great bed shower was awesome once I worked out how to use it could do with a clear window so can still see the view. O dont mind the parking or price as ive been places you cant even get a park. Things that would be awesome to have in the room is a microwave and a dvd player didnt k ow they didnt have one or would have brought one other then that thank you and we will be back next year hope the pool side bar is open though.

Modern and excellently presented rooms. Great views from the balcony of the sea and surrounding areas. Very very comfortable beds and quality linen. Great buffet breakfast and nice staff. Good price as well. Definately value for money!

Good location is very good to visit, not high-class hotel is the sparrow although small five dirty all-type, counter attitude is good, there are friends room interval days found not to be cleaned to a size of defects.

Very nice room and amazing views of water fronts. Didn't know that cleaners could come and tidy room up every day if you wanted them too. Parking is $30 but $15 if you got a motorbike, noisy idiot neighbours, there should be a strict noise policy as some people are clueless when it comes to their surroundings, some people come here for peace and quite and to relax. Nice staff. To keep your costs down don't drink or eat from the mini bars, just go out somewhere for dinner. Possibly would come again but definilty going to book a room that's next to an empty bedroom.

Due to a miscommunication with a third party supplier our daughters accommodation was cancelled. When she arrived at Vibe, she was advised of the cancellation despite having the booking confirmed in writing. Vibe refused to honour the original booking and suggested she could pay an inflated rate in order to stay for the intended time. Lack of communication and poor service resulted in turning an 18 year old on her first holiday out onto the street. All for greed. Don't stay at Vibe.

Once we had arrived we were greeted with friendly staff and a very clean and spacious room. We were lucky enough that we were actually upgraded to a bigger room free of charge which was incredibly nice. The TV and everything in the room was great however I will say that I am a taller person (over 6") and the shower was far to small for me and I had to crouch the entire time, was not a fault of the room just an observation. The views were incredible. Right in the heart of surfers we did not need to take any transport anywhere except the airport. The buffet breakfast was nice. Booking it the night before made it cheaper for both of us. They also were able to freshly cook some fried eggs for us as there was only scrambled ones made and they did not have any fuss. Would most definitely visit when we come back.

Decided an impromptu mummy's night away was in order while we were child free. Booked last minute through Wotif. There was no mention of the $30 parking fee until we checked in. Room was nice and clean, beds were comfy. We got upgraded to an aqua view room on the 20th floor which was nice. No knives in the room only teaspoons which made it hard to cut cheese or fruit. Shower is strange, big step into the bath which makes the shower head at eye level. You wouldn't want to be too tall. The "buffet breakfast" is nowhere near worth $18. Sloppy scrambled eggs, oil filled hash browns, bacon like leather and pancakes with only maple syrup as the option. Maybe adding some decent looking fruit and some danishes or pastries would be a good idea. Salt and pepper shakers were cute. Our room. Service coffee was good. Staff very friendly. Lifts took a little longer than they should.

Make sure you read the fine print, because when you get there they expect $200 cash off you, which we didn't know so we had to use our travel card which charged us $10 extra to draw the money out for them. $30 a day parking! charge which is a rip off I'd expect someone to park my car for me for that! Our room was dirty had hairs in the bathroom and dust all over side tables (thick dust! ) glass rings over the top of tables, I should have taken money off them to clean it properly! Not a great location if you're on front of the building very loud. We instantly got unrelaxed when we had to hand over $200 cash so I recommend taking pics of any damages so they can't blame you cause you never know what some people are like. And finally they said when we check out they will send someone to check the room before we can leave the property we felt like untrusted children we just felt uncomfortable they whole time. P. S tried to upload pics of dirt but couldn't find out how.

I have to say thank you to this hotel — we had a booking and attempted to check in and were asked to show ID — which I had (booking was in my name only) but because husband didn’t have photo ID (he had credit card, Medicare card and staff ID card) the staff still refused to check us in. Staff were rude and told us that it was “state law” for requiring to show ID at check in. My booking sheet (from a 3rd party) advised ID for the booking holder only was required!
Doesn’t matter because we obtained a credit with the booking agency and secured accommodation at another hotel — one with far better check in staff (only wanted to see my ID as the booking holder), a better location and an overall better experience was had! Certainly won’t be rushing back to your hotel as the “vibe” certainly wasn’t there!

Clean and big rooms. Service was really good. Location is great and right next to cafes and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was good with a variety of options. Parking is 30$ per day which I feel is a bit overpriced (also because I didn't notice it when I made the booking). Staff was great and helpful, happily extended my checkout time as well.

We had an amazing stay. Was my birthday so got upgraded room. Had awesome views over the river and the bed was so comfortable, great sleep after some big days and nights. Good location and central to trams, buses and town. Staff were really nice. For the price, recommend to anyone.

What a great refurbished hotel. We were upgraded to an ocean view room but the river views are just as beautiful. Staff were welcoming and full of information for us. Great value for money, with a beautiful pool and bar and also a laundry mat in the basement. We had just come from the Hilton after 5 days and we weren't disappointed. Highly recommended Car parking was to expensive $30 a day so went down the road, not even a 3 minute walk to 3110 Gold Coast Hwy, Surfers Paradise QLD Only $26 for 3 days with unlimited entries and exit.

Great room Comfy bed Friendly staff. Lovely view. Only problem was noise from air-conditioning motors from shopping centre across the road. (Not the fault of hotel, but annoying when trying to sleep)

Looking out at the riverside scenery are beautiful, night is also beautiful, and watching the blue Firefly and hot air balloon activities have cooperation, convenient car, Night Street is lively, and close to the beach, I like. The most important thing is the bed is comfortable, buffet breakfast can choose to eat to the full, service staff is also very close to the beginning.

It was ok. Just small things detracted from the room. Second lift broken down and$30 a day for parking.

Good clean room at an affordable price. Nice comfy bed and good sized bathroom. Balcony view was also good and has outdoor furniture to relax. The check-out time of 11am is quite convenient with the option of extending to a late check-out at a chargeable rate. Buffet Breakfast is nice with a good variety offered. Staff is friendly and helpful. Centrally located at Surfers Paradise and walking distance from various shops or attractions. Parking price of $30/day (undercover) is a bit high. If convenience of having the car at hotel is not a requirement then there are other car parks near by.

Really nice place to stay. Room was clean and maybe newly renovated. Very quiet compared to hotels over near the ocean. I had a nice view of the river.

Unprofessional, untidy. Quite an awful "vibe". I will actively be sure to tell any incomers to never stay here. I copped abuse after paying. Manager instilled no confidence. Place is being renovated so nothing is available but their winning personalities. Don't do it people. Let them lose their jobs. Go anywhere else.

We had a nice stay even though they were finishing off renovations. The pool facility and rooms are nice and modern. The only things I can suggest is the shower/bathtub were really low (my head was very close to the ceiling) and the parking situation. $30 a day is a bit expensive, so I suggest people look into the Secure Parking Chevron Renaissance across the road. I asked Secure Parking for a deal for three days and they came back with $40 for the whole time, coming and going as I pleased. Much better than $90 for the three days. I noticed Vibe's parking filled up very quickly, so some cars were left out in the open which isn't ideal.

Everything about Vibe Hotel is OK and satisfactory. But that is the problem, because it stops there and there's nothing to be excited about: ordinary rooms, fine breakfast, and same with other stuff. I would say their best selling point it's the relatively cheap rate for s 4-star hotel and their biggest problem is that there is a $30 charge for the parking.

Hotel is very nice centrally located in the city places are very near by. If you want to shop, eat, or go to a pub all at walkable distance. Staff is very nice. Breakfast which was included in my itinerary was very well spread.

Disappointment does not even begin to describe how my daughters were treated at this hotel. Discrimination against "schoolies". We read the website and the terms and conditions in great detail and thought as responsible parents, we were doing the right thing. We sent our daughters with a responsible adult for 2 nights. They took the booking and then turned them away because they believe that responsible adult has to be biologically related. Not written anywhere! Not in definitions or terms! 3 hours of travel for nothing. Never heard of this policy!

Highly priced for very poor inclusions. I would expect such a place if I paid 50 a night as opposed to 150. No Wi-Fi available in rooms. Breakfast not included despite being advertised. No airport shuttle available. No toothbrush/paste provided. Lift buttons broken. For what you get, definitely not worth the price. Avoid.

Was under renovation which was not stated… no hot water… Wi-Fi only available in the lobby in which the lobby area was closed off … the bar was closed … when checking in didn't tell me about free breakfast or welcome drink had to ask. All in all poor reception service. But despite this the rooms where great clean big good views. The free breakfast was very nice with a good choice of options. Good spot in the centre. Disappointed was the lack of information.

Got married here a year ago and have also spent a few nights in the 1 bedroom apartments on the top floor. From location, venue and value for money we cannot fault the vibe hotel. We slept in the comfiest king bed, and had amazing water views of the canals in Surfers Paradise! The pool area and bar is so cool! They offer the most affordable and amazing wedding/ event packages, we could not be happier! Although the parking can be a little tight, that won’t stop us returning every year :)

Not a well kept place. It's a bit run down and it is in the beginnings of renovations but it will take a lot of work to get rid of the 60's feel about the place. The king bed was two singles pushed together and in need of replacement as there was a dip in bed. The bathroom was mouldy and the door was delaminating. You can smell the dampness in the whole room. The breakfast was pretty good and probably the best part of the stay. Although one member of the staff got angry after being told to take a breakfast back after coughing on it. The reception staff were quite pleasant and cheerful, but overall, The Vibe is not particularly good value for money and you can probably get a better deal for a 3 bedroom apartment across the street.

The bed and the views were amazing! The traffic noise wasn't too bad with the door shut but as soon as it was opened and if sirens were blaring it was too much. Positioned right amongst the hustle and bustle of surfers so accessible to nearly everything needed and the beach was a short walk away. The staff were friendly. The front desk is noy 24 hours. Just a heads up. Though there wasnt a need for it to be. Would definitely stay again.

Thought I was getting a good deal but it was obvious that they put their prices up to heavily discount them. The bathroom had mould in it as well as a large crack in the sink. The balcony was filthy and riddled with cigarette butts. The buffet breakfast was pretty standard but I expected more. Also I was charged a 20% surcharge to use my credit card to pay the $30 to park my car at the hotel overnight. Not ever going back. You can get the same quality for much cheaper elsewhere.

Stayed here 3 days for a work function. A little dated but very comfortable. The function staff were top class. Would definitely stay here again. If you're keen on watching the TV you'll be disappointed with the dodgy picture quality.

Only spent one night part company wide meeting. Conference room and provided drinks with food was nice. Lunch was ok. Dinner on the pool was great. Bar was amazing. I don't drink. But there service to my colleagues was great.

We had lots of issues. Fridge was off when we arrived, tried to turn it on and the motor was busted so no fridge for the whole weekend. 2 person room, but only 1 coffee cup. No hand towels provided at all and no bath mat provided at all so our bathroom and the carpeting outside the bathroom was constantly wet. No room service menu, no mention of buffet breakfast being offered. We discovered that for ourselves and went to have breakfast which was cold, and no staff on the front desk to let you in. We stood outside for nearly 10 minutes before we were able to get in to breakfast. They also book the restaurant out for private functions, which also has a deck off of it right under people's bedrooms. We were lucky enough to be one of the bedrooms above the deck when a function was on so we had to listen to people screaming, music blaring and glass breaking until midnight. When we called the front desk to ask if there was anything that could be done about the noise, we were told it was a paid private event so there was nothing they could do. Never mind the fact we were in a paid private bedroom that would have been nice to get some sleep in. Heater in the room didn't work, which in the middle of winter is fantastic. Should have spent the extra money paid in parking (which paying for parking was never mentioned when making the booking) on somewhere else to stay.

The location of this hotel is great, however comfort is lacking due to appalling rock hard mattresses. I have happily slept on very firm mattresses around the world, including Asian countries where this is the norm, but this mattress at Vibe defeated me entirely. I woke every hour or so with numb arms due to the pressure on my nerves from this device of torture. It was also irritating to be woken by incessant hammering from a room above (probably maintenance, which surely could have waited until after check out time. So… if you like sleep, and peace and quiet, probably best to avoid this place like the plague. p. S. When I (thought I) checked out, the receptionist checked out an entirely different person and gave me a receipt with all of their details on it. I subsequently checked the receipt a little later and had to call Vibe to rectify?!

Reception staff were mostly lovely and friendly, but the rest of the experience was poor. Parking situation is atrocious (19-20 guest floors and 30 parking spaces total? That's ridiculous). Wifi is incredibly slow, which I guess is why you need 24h per device. Room service took an hour and a half, and when we called after an hour, they said they couldn't make what was ordered and would we accept something else? We said yes, and it still took half an hour to arrive. Probably okay if you MUST be in a hotel on a budget, but would otherwise avoid.

No cleaning essentials. Calcium build up on taps and shower heads. My key only worked for one night and had to get a new one. Very dirty. If you pay via third party like myself you have to pay a bond which is not specified. However great location and staff were wonderful.

I really appreciated the service from the gentleman Dipen on reception and lovely lady Hana on reception today, very warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me! That's really rare from most hotels, even for 5 star hotels reception and customer service usually isn't that amazing! I'm so pleased I'd definitely stay there again just for the amazing service from these two. I have stayed at Vibe before but it was probably a different team then so I feel they are doing much better now. I would consider staying again and recommending Vibe to friends.

In general, cockroaches are found in the room and no Wi-Fi.

We arrived from NZ on 18th December 2014 to The Vibe. Imeadiately we were upgraded to a double king size room. Glen (the guy who served us) was extremely friendly and gave us the run down of the sights and sounds the Goldcoast has to offer. We initially planned to stay for 2 days but after 2 days of great customer service by Glen we extended our stay to 5 days. The breakfast was delish and the air conditioning wasa welcome blessing to this kiwi who aint use to hot humid weather. Thanks a bunch to Glen and The Vibe hotel.

Clean rooms 5min to beach 2min walk to supermarkets what more can you ask for.

Found hotel on Orbits and the price seamed very good. And hotel is fantastic for such a price, clean room, great view. Stayed at double (king and single beds). So room food satisfy at least 3 people, I'd say its perfect place for it's price. Drawback turned out to be lack of Wi-Fi in rooms. They have ethernet, but you have to pay 11AUD per hour which is rip off, But you can have 30 minutes of free internet at reception. Normally I have enough data on phone. But that day I used all of it. The best thing was breakfast, if you prebook it you can have it for 12.5 (saving 2.5), it's pointless to try to describe it, I just highly recommend it.

I stayed at the Vibe Hotel for my 21st birthday in November this year. My partner and I booked without realising we would be going to surfers paradise at the same time as achoolies was on but regardless of that the hotel itself and it's staff made us forget about the chaos going on on the streets. The hotel room itself was immaculately clean, modern and the bed was fantastic (we got a King bed). The breakfast bar was delicious and was reasonably priced for what you ate. A big thank you to the staff for making our trip enjoyable and stay comfortable — we would come back again.
