Went here on a holiday in 2013 very nice hotel nice and roomy and big, very clean hotel, nice pool I had lots of fun swimming. Nice owner and staff they were very kind to us. I enjoyed my hoilday here,

I wouldn't even give it 1 star the owner is very rude refused to accommodate me my husband and kids over a small issue. I had to wait 20min for someone to come to the reception. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone! Will be informing friends and family about the lowness of the manger and hotel! DO NOT GO HERE AND PRICE IS NOT FOR WHAT U GET!

Great rooms, great views and super awesome in general.

It's nice, spacious, has good areas for communion, and is just an all round lovely place to stay.

Horrible and discriminatory staff! Refusing already paid rooms to legitimate customers because they are "suspected" of being drug dealers. If you would like to actually book a room here to "enjoy" their terrible hospitality, please be over 35 Or have kids.

I love this place, because?, sitting on the 15 level balcony, overseeing the beautiful city lights at night, and beautiful people going about these every day bussiness, made me grow BALLS!. Realizing, that life goes on, and where 1 thrashed door closes?, another 100 fully new, straight off the shop floor doors open! So open up doors! "NEXT"?

Another amazing stay at Solaire Apartments. Beautiful apartment, with well appointed bathroom, space and kitchen. Friendly helpful staff — nothing is too much trouble. Great location with tram, restaurants, supermarket and the beach. Amazing views, comfy beds, modern & spacious. Great place to stay. Will come back again.

After reading all the reviews on this place was sceptical to book… BUT I did nevertheless… WHAT AN AWESOME PLACE FOR A HOLIDAY AWESOME FRIENDLY STAFF… MICHELLE THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP IS WAS THE BEST HOLIDAY EVER. apartment was absolutely clean and comfortable. Views from apartment are beautiful. Friendly staff… Safe and clean holiday apartment. Great Location. Will be back in December for the holidays.

Excellent service. Very clean and mordern apartment. Exactly what advertised is what you get and more. One of my best trips to the Gold coast AU. Highly recommended apartments to stay at if you going to the Gold coast. Satisfied and happy South African.

Mai B, aren't you the woman that lives on the 9th floor in 901 that was reprimanded by Michelle for indecent exposure on your balcony? Don't use social media to bad mouth people & places when you are at fault.

The room & resort facilities were clean & modern, & the location right near the centre of town makes it an ideal home base for anyone living or staying in Surfers Paradise. Close to public transport, shops, attractions, amenities, & the beach, it has everything one could desire within easy walking distance. I look forward to my next opportunity to visit Solaire.

We are very happy stay there. Very nice and clean 3 bedroom apartment. Nice view at 21 floor very close to shops and restaurants. I recommended to every one. Thanks again to Tony he is very help full. Frank Baran Aga.

Michelle the receptionist is probably the rudest person Ive had to deal with. She is short tempered and does not deserve a role dealing with the general public, or holiday makers for that matter. Holiday makers : keep away! Great location however difficult and rude reception staff that will make your stay hell with red tape, poor staffed reception times and unreasonable requests.

Great location and views. Apartments are nicely furnished and a great home away from home. Stayed here many times. Will happily come back again. Pool is awesome with a great view. Friendly staff.

Location Very very noisy. On corner of traffic lights and fun park opposite. Traffic or screaming kids on rides til late, even worse during public holidays. Fumes, and no peace and quiet. Unit is ok. But design makes it very hot even in Autumn! They have 3 aircon units, but you can only run one at a time because the the fuse box shorts out if all 3 are on at the same time. Staff are friendly and helpful, but due to the building's issues (see other reviews), are not available often enough to help you settle in. You need to keep everything closed to block out noise and fumes. Sorry that we stayed there, and sorry to tell other readers, do NOT stay there if you want peace and quiet.

I stayed at Solaire with my family and just loved it! The apartments are large and well spaced out. The ensuite was a big bonus because it was so roomy! The weather was not great so we spent a lot of time in the indoor pool area which had a great view of Surfers. It's very close to the shops — 4 minute walk to Coles and cafes for brekkie which is handy when you have hungry kids! We were very happy with the cleaning and the staff were very friendly, never too busy to smile and greet as you walked past. My family and I have very warm memories of this place and hope we can return one day and stay a bit longer.

We got into the apartment ready for a 5 night stay, as soon as we entered the apartment there were no towels, the showers and kitchen was dirty, the plates and glasses had not been cleaned. The air conditioning did not work for 3 nights, they had to send a repair guy out which took up our whole day because we didn't want to leave the apartment with somebody here. We complained to the front desk and they said they'd give us a fan, they gave us a fan which did not work. We complained again and said that air-conditioning is not guaranteed, even though they advertise it on their website. If our bed broke they'd probably have told us that wasn't guaranteed either. If I could rate this 0/5 I would, but the lowest I can go is 1. I would have rather slept in the car, worst place I have ever stayed and we will be telling our friends, family and clients about it too. Do not waste your money here, it looks good from the outside but when you get inside its the complete opposite.
