Time you step into reception, see friendly staff, to sky view rooms amazing. Our stay was perfect the rooms were amazing well set out, clean and very Spacious l would recommend Mantra to anyone.

Was pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment and the view is stunning. The apartment has every convenience I need and so close to shops and restaurants.

I booked and my husband got cancer and required 7 weeks of radiotherapy treatment. I requested a refund or at best a voucher for a later date when he hopefully recovers. All my requests were rejected. Very disappointed with the lack of compassion. Shame on you!

Spacious and fully equipped apartment. On-site parking too! Close to fabulous cafes and restaurants — walking distance. Woolworths 2 minutes away. Pools etc are fabulous.

Absolutely disgusting! Father in law diagnosed with cancer so mother in law wanted to postpone trip as he needs to start treatment asap. Applied for a credit for when he gets better and they have refused. Show some compassion! The managers response, read our T&C's.

Amazing stay at Mantra on Cavill recently with my family. Apartments were immaculate and were fully equipped with all of the amenities/facilities we needed during our stay. Hotel staff were exceptional, especially Sophie on the Front Desk, very helpful. We will definitely be back to stay and highly recommend to others.

Location amazing! right amongst shopping centre, bars, clubs and restaurants. Grocery store underneath tower 2. Close by trams which go through to helensvale then link to bus service through to all these parks and same again coming home. Views from seaside room was once again amazing! awesome sunrises and great surf if that's your thing. negatives were the general up keep of the room was not upto its star rating. No plug for bath tub, TV remote wouldn't work after battery replacement, no glasses to drink from, dirty dishes on our arrival, toilets were not clean and a bit of paint on the walls especially in the corridors wouldn't go astray. Also the general daily and evening noise was very noticable even from the 32nd floor in tower 2. Also a $500AU bond is required for any damages which we thought was a bit over the top but makes sense after a history of damages from other guests during peak season (as explained on arrival)

I’m currently staying at the Circle on Cavill for 10 nights and I don’t want to leave! The place is stunning. From the minute I checked in with Marlee, who was amazing and so patient, the whole experience has been faultless. I’m on 43rd floor in a 2 bedroom ocean spa. The views are to die for. I’ve never seen anything like it. … The room is beautifully appointed and huge, and the spa with views is sensational. Marlee and Nathan at reception both deserve praise as they both offer outstanding, professional service which completely makes the whole experience perfect. Thank you both for being so amazing and helping me to have the best holiday ever!

Overall wasnt to bad, rooms were big and the view is amazing.
However, the upfront $500 deposit fee is little steep especially since we didnt even know we had to pay that on arrival, would have thought it was just a normal Credit card hold or something.
The plates were greasy and not washed, and zero sound proofing, which meant you could hear everything right up untill 4am.
We Did enjoy the large pool and sauna amenities, they were large so it was not crowded at all.

The views are amazing. You get to see the river and beach. Location is a quick stroll to the beach and tons of food options. Woolies and pizza and coffee just downstairs. The bathrooms and beds were clean and modern. Had all the amenities we needed including dishwasher and washing machine, hair dryer and towels. Downside was the carpet and furniture were really old and musky.

Well it was an interesting stay here for the price we paid. We had a single room spa apartment. Which when we arrived look amazing but on closer inspection it was one of the dirtiest rooms I’ve stayed in. Dishes weren’t clean and were covered in some greasy substance. Tea towel was covered in food stains from the last people.
The bed didn’t have proper sheets (a fitted sheet and duvet cover isn’t that expensive guys) and when I went to remake it, under the bed was old sex t…oy wrappers and more rubbish then a dump. The rooms have no sound proofing from the road and night clubs, you can hear everything! Not a place to stay if you want sleep at night because it’s super loud. Doesn’t even sound like the door is closed, even high up in the building. And at times we didn’t even have hot water available. Otherwise the staff were friendly and the location was really convenient and having a secure underground car park was great. For a “4 star apartment/hotel” at over $200 per night the standard is very low, and I wouldn’t recommend this as a place to stay.

After four days staying here, the hotel is in a good location, whether it's shopping or playing on the beach, the hotel gives us rooms facing the swimming pool and located on the 7th floor, so we don't see any view, the hotel's basic facilities are good, there's a Woolworths supermarket downstairs, So prepare their own meals cooking is also quite convenient, kitchen equipment can also be accepted, attached to the use of tableware is also relatively new, room space makes people feel quite comfortable, but the biggest drawback is that the low-floor aisle can smell a smell of garbage, feel quite bad, so deducted some points.

I will recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful, very modern and the veiw is amazing. We had a 2 bedroom with a spa and it was everything we expected. The hotel is located to everything you may need; Woolworths downstairs, Cavill Mall a few blocks away and trams a 2 min walk away. The restaurants nearby are great for dinner or breakfast. The pool and spa's downstairs were a nice break we needed.

Beautiful property. Incredible views. Slick operation. Pool, fitness center and sauna are a winner. This is where I'll stay in surfers moving forward. Nothing else really on this level that's beachfront.

Level 41 view was unbeatable. Room was spacious bigger than photos can do justice for. Requested a late check out after staying extra nights could not unfortunately accomodate. Down season so not sure why. Cleaning staff all so pleasant and room presented so lovely each day thank you. Pool currently being fixed which was a shame. Centrally located and will stay again for sure Location perfect.

So good, that we decided to live here! We love the convince of the resort facilities in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Don't read the reviews of people pissed off, the building management have no control over people who sublet their apartments on Air BNB and other websites. Book directly through the hotel and you will have a pleasant stay. The facilities of the hotel are great and modern. Love it!

Unfortunately coming from other accomodation nearby and being messed around regarding a refund for a filthy subpar room the service staff there. Davinder, I think, a) showed us three rooms to look at b) helped us out with sorting payment for half our stay until we received the money from the other hotel c) provided excellent service. Rooms are increduble value for money, modern, have great views, comfy beds, and a spa bath that can comfortably fit 2. Could not be happier and would definitely recommend.

Great accommodation close to everything you'll need for your stay on the Gold Coast. The only downside is that the reception staff need to cheer up a bit and be more friendly, otherwise I would give the hotel 4 stars.

Feels JUST LIKE HOME! Perfect location and no hassles in check in. Also view from the apartment is just amazing. Best apartment for a family of four or three. Slightly expensive but worth the cost.

It was so terrible, I saw a big cockroach after midnight and I was so scared that I couldn't sleep, I called hotel staff and I told her that I wanted someone to come and kill the cockroach. I had to wait for a long time so I called the hotel staff again and someone came to my room. He saw the cockroach and then he killed it with his foot. He then tried to throw it into the trash can of my room, I yelled "No" So he then went out of my room with it. Next morning I checked out and the staff asked me "how was your stay? " I said "it was so bad" She replied "I'm sorry ". The manager didn't say "Sorry" She just said "Because they are flying". I came to Gold coast again but I am staying in a different accommodation. I will never stay there again.

This view from the 43th floor was great. The suite provided everything one could desire in terms of comfort, facilities and value.

Location is very convenient, the hotel is near the supermarket, there are restaurants, the tourist center is at the end of the street! The waiter is kind and friendly, very happy to answer inquiries!

Location 5 star. The whole complex needs a little tlc to be up on 5 Star. It’s a nice place to stay. But be aware of the noise. It’s after alll a party spot but a nice one. Coles, woollies, eateries, Clubs all within walking distance.

Overall the place has the best view of Surfers and Ocean on the Gold Coast I think, 1 bedroom Spa Ocean View Apartment is big but needs a few fixes! Cleaners need to do a better job, hair in the carpet everywhere, air con smells funny, plates are greasy and finger marks all on them, chips and food left through pull out cupboard in kitchen. One good thing is the reception team, really helpful and made everything a breeze. Vivian in reception was 10/10, really went out of her way to help out with a check in problem which was my fault. Hotel is good, wish it could fix the little things.

Everything there suits us. We don't do the nightclub scene, but the entertainment is wonderful. The rooms are very nice and modern, facilities are lovely such as the pools, and gym is well equipped. We definitely suggest hiring electric scooters.

Me and my wife stayed at Mantra Circle on Cavill during our 5 days 4 nights vacation to Gold Coast. It is located around Surfer Paradise which is about 20 to 30 minutes drive from Coolangatta Airport. The beautiful beach is just about 10 minutes walk. There are a lot of shops and eating places nearby. There is a bus stop in front of the apartment for your convenience if you plan on taking public transport. We got ourselves a room with city view. To be honest, it was really beautiful. Looking over the horizon truly relaxes the mind. The room got every basic thing we need to feel homely. You may do your own laundry or prepare your own meal. The furnitures and items are well-maintained. I don't have to pick up the phone and dial 0 to do some fault reportings. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They never fail to put on a smile. If you're out of ideas on what to do, just approach them. They would give you some suggestions. If you would ask me, I am sure to stay here if I am to come back to Gold Coast. My wife and I simply loved it.

Was there two years ago had a better room with great water views on a higher level. Wasn't impressed this time around. There was no house keeping should have mentioned that in the booking information there was no mention at all, I was there for 4 nights it would have been good to know that I might have to do some cleaning on my holiday. Also they only provided me with towels for one night I had to keep going to reception every day to get more towels and toiletries. The condition of the apartment was ok. Water views were ok but as I was on a lower level this time I could hear the night clubs going off till late. Also parking spaces are very tight. However it's in a good location and the apartment was pretty spacious.

Great clean hotel, offes many rooms facing Cavill av so you feel like you are a part of the life downstairs. Of you want quiet just shut the doors they are sound proof. Good service and clean hotel!

It's ok but everything is close: the beach, shopping centre, restaurant and public transport. Everything is walking. Bit too busy for my liking.

AWESOME location as it is positioned directly near a grocery market, retail shops, restaurants and directly in front of the train station. The location was definitely the reason we picked this hotel and he reason we love this hotel. The rooms are clean and the kitchen/fridge and washer/dryer in the room is extremely convenient. The only tip for future guests is if you plan to use the kitchen, you will need to pick up the cooking essentials (oil, salt, pepper, paper towels etc) however dishware and cooking utensils are provided. The bath room and bedroom is very clean and I felt very taken care of by the staff.

Everything from the check in, to the cleanliness and the service. Check in staff had no idea what they were doing, security staff were rude and intimidating. Rooms were dirty and cleaning staff barely even touched the room when they came in. The only great thing about this property is the view and that doesn’t even belong to the Mantra. Don’t stay here it’s not good!

This was the perfect place to base ourselves on our gold coast adventure! It was perfectly located within walking distance to the main street, filled with heaps of shops, eateries etc. Short walk to the beach and beachfront markets. Clean rooms with awsome views. Great kitchen facilities. Our room was perfect for a couples get away!

Not the greatest place to stay. $500 security bond taken off my card and takes 10 days to reimburse. Bedrooms are on the eastern and westernd side and have see through roller blinds so waking to full sun at 5am when you’re on holidays sucks. Definitely explore your options.

Look no further then Mantra Circle on Cavill, this place is fantastic loved everything about staying here and already looking to book here for our next holiday. Everything is in walking distance, very clean and tidy love love love.

Room was very spacious, much larger than I could have ever expected. Bed was a bit of a let down, pictures indicate a king bed but we had a queen, as we had paid for so no harm done. Housekeeping let the hotel down and is the main reason I only give 3 stars, night 1 we only had 1 towel, night two they had failed to replenish the body wash and night three housekeeping failed to come at all until we phoned reception, very quickly afterwards housekeeping was at our door with two fresh towels and a shampoo as they had run out of body wash — I would have expected a better service given the nightly charge.

An ok hotel, has nice views and overall good accessibility. Some of the walls had scratches and the TV channels are down right boring. The room service was not on point they would take a whole 2 days and a kick up the ass to get them to come and clean up our room. The beds had stains and we clearly noticed that they were trying to hide some of them, Wasn't that enjoyable.

Pros: Very nice room, convenient location, close to everything, Woolworths right down stairs, lots of food options around aswell. Cons: if you stay at level 44 or above, lift waiting time is long (can take 2 mins sometime). Not thoroughly cleaned, found a live cockroach near fridge in the morning.

Look, I've reviewed this hotel before and last time I said something about the (very) slow check in process, although otherwise the hotel stay being great. So I booked again for my 30th birthday weekend, even though I was expecting the same slow check in.
This time I arrived later (4pm) to avoid the 'rush hour' (this time I left my 9 month old baby in the car with my hubby) but found yet again that the check in process was very veeeery slow. Not due to queues — there was on…ly 1 other couple checking in — but just the fifty steps involved in checking in, even the issuing of the key cards was very slow. It took half an hour for me to check in! (Without a queue)
Arriving at our 3 bedroom apartment there were a few things not working (TV, fridge ice machine, door swipe card didn't work upon initial attempt to enter which was an annoying coincidence with a baby in my arms, carpet a little patchy/frayed), but otherwise the room was great, perfect view etc.
Unfortunately the same slow check in is the basics needing improvement, having been through it twice now.
Service itself (the people aspect) was friendly and professional, but it's more about the process needing improvements.
I would still recommend a stay here though! Ps: I had a complimentary birthday cake provided to me in the fridge upon arrival. Thank you!

Location is perfect, such close proximity to everything you need. Apartments are luxuriously big with amazing water views.

I have stayed many times before but with each new stay the rooms look more tired and quality of furnishings is falling each time. The hotel. Has amazing ocean views, big balconies, nice spa bath (No bath salts etc) and friendly staff and bonus free parking. No bathrobes or slippers, tables rusty on balcony … floors dirty and table inside has big stains and chips missing. Stayed on 35th floor. Paid Wi-Fi which we hate. No TV in bedroom. When we checked in bed made but looked like someone had slept on bed after but was fixed immediately. Some rooms have large lounge some have small lounge suits. Some have double beds and some have king beds so not a lot of consistency. Great value if get good discount not worth the full rate as now looking tired.

Unfortunately the person that checked me in was not welcoming at all, and very condescending. No smile throughout the whole checking in process, no enjoy your stay. She was more focused on come back in 45 minutes at 2.00pm and I'll give you your room key and you need to move your car it's only 15min. Parking. Get there at 2.00pm and had to line up. Was not impressed! I instantly thought, that was enough to not want me to go back again and also to tell other people about my not so enjoyable experience! Great location, shame about not making people feel welcome!

I was served on first arrival by a girl named Danielle. Every time I tried to approache her with a question she talk over top of me and roll her eyes. Very unhappy with the customer service. The room walls had Mark's all over them and for some reason I couldn't get access to any pools. Totally worth the $250 a night.

The rooms are excellent. Facilities were great too. Indoor and outdoor pools are great if the weather isn't perfect. Location was also really good too. Being close to everything makes it easy for a family to get around with Woolworths just near by. Excellent restaurants near by too.

Beautiful contemporary building with modern five star facilities. Amazing views from all rooms with floor to ceiling windows. Great location central to all Surfers Paradise has to offer and a supermarket just in Circle on Cavill. Only negative experience here has been with the reception staff who weren't very helpful or friendly at all.

Everything was more than fine, but there was lack of safety rails in the bathrooms/ showers for elderly. I am sure some young families bring their parents as well. I will recommend this place regardless.

We stayed on the 28th floor of the Southern side and we absolutely loved it. The staff were extremely helpful, we enjoyed the spa, sauna, steam room and pool. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this accomodation. If convenience is important then this place is the one for you. Thanks Heaps Circle On Cavill staff we will see you again next year :)

Would not recommend this particular Mantra property to anyone. Great location, terrible hotel. First night we found a previous visitors underwear in the room. Hotel wouldn't give us a room change and advised they would "clean up" while we went out for dinner. Got back and the underwear was still there. Had to make a second request in the morning before anything happened. Air-conditioning in bedroom sounded like a plane engine going down the runway for take off. Maintenance request filled in and housekeeping advised the request was received but nothing was done. We were left with waking up sweating or waking up to this noise every time the air con kicked in. For the amount paid, we expected things would have been better. 3 out of the 4 pillows were old and lumpy, the shower head sprayed and dribbled everywhere like it had never been cleaned or maintained. Microwave had spills on the plate, so we had to clean it before first use. Housekeeping was incredibly inconsistent. Certainly didn't wipe any surface, randomly chose to give us new towels some days, and other says just took away any additional towels.

My Wife and I waited a long time for this Holiday and it was disappointing. The apartment had not been checked when we arrived. The staff were not very helpful. The bed linen was not changed in 8 Days. The table we had to eat from was nearly CHEST HIGH. The last straw NO EARLY MORNING CALL after booking night before. We would NOT go back there again.

Fantastic place to stay. Right in town with everything close by plus a supermarket under the north tower. Definitely recommend it and will stay here next time! Great pools, gym, facilities, nice view etc. 5 stars!

When we walked into the room, we found a hole in the wall and stains on the carpet, dirty dishes put back into draws and just an outright boring room that looked nothing like the pictures on the website. When we left we were charged $100 each for the hole in the wall and the stained carpet, in which we did not do. How much does it cost for wall filler and carpet cleaner? Certainly not $400, the amount the took off us, what a rip off. The lack of house keeping is appalling, yeah they come around every morning but all they do is empty your bins, a job that I could do myself. Some clean sheets and towels and some toilet paper would have been nice would have been nice but they said there was a "high demand and there wasn't enough to hand out. " A large, busy, 5 star hotel — you should always have enough supplies to go around. Being expected to clean our own sheets and towels while on holidays, um no thank you. Also, we forked out $600 plus $200 bond, together that adds up to $3200 for a weeks accommodation, in the most basic room they had and the hotel had the decency to tell up we had to buy our own toilet paper!?! Bored looking, unhelpful staff. When I ask for maintenance people to come up and you say they will be up soon, I thought that would have been soon, not never. It's fine though, I'll fix the dryer that doesn't work and I'll pay for the holes in the wall that you wouldn't come up and inspect to see we didn't do it.

I can't deny the fantastic views overlooking Surfers Paradise and the river. A good central location and friendly and efficient room attendants however, very disappointed by the amount of noise that can be heard all hours of the day and night, the smelly drainage, no mattress or pillow protectors, the loud whirring noise coming from the air conditioning in main bedroom. After a couple of sleepless nights we checked out early and reception was hardly apologetic.

Experience of nice hotel ruined by residents in room 2144. We enjoyed Surefrs and the Gold Coast last month when we visited, and the hotel itself is very nice. However, the people in room 2144 who were on the same floor us were horribly, horribly inconsiderate — noise and drugs. We enjoy late nights, and some drinks, but those people kept up literally all night. The noise from their balcony (music, yelling, swearing) went on until well after 6am! The noise came right into our bedroom all night. We found out that they are residents because we went over there at 4AM to knock on their door and ask them to please keep the noise down outside. The guy that answered was very rude. He told us that he lived there and could do "whatever the f — — he wanted"! We called reception and made a noise complaint (who obviously sent security up). The last we heard about that was when we listened to the people on the balcony say things like "F — — security. I just told them what they wanted to hear. We aren't going inside". In the afternoon, a very strong smell of marijuana came in from the balcony. We had to try and explain to our little one what the "funny smell" was. We thank the staff at the hotel for being so nice, but we cannot understand why the hotel would let people who carry on like that (and ruin the experience of guests) to live there. Management / security should have the power to evict people who make inconsiderate noise on the balcony and smoke drugs.

A great hotel with a really good location in the heart of Cavill. We stayed in the 3 bedroom units, which had some really good views of the ocean. The rooms are very spacious and are great for having a small get together with friends before heading out. There are plenty of food joints located walking distance away and the staff are very friendly.

Amazing. Will definitely be returning. Although one small criticism is the price of the baby hiring equipment (cots, high chairs were $40 per item per week and with twins that would add up to an extra $240) where other hotels offer for a lot less or free hire. Otherwise, outstanding hotel :)

Stay here early May. Best time! everything was so close and the staff were all really kind and helpful. Just love how the housekeepers dress like alice from the brady bunch. Just sadly one day found my bed was not made right. But all in all will be back The water view from the apartment was amazing and was so happy to spend 7 nights. We payed for a 1 bedroom ocean spa apartment and we told the staff that I was coming with my auntie and when getting up to the room we ended up with a 2 bedroom ocean spa apartment. I know where I will be coming again.

I stayed in level 35 — south tower, very beautiful view, rooms were clean and tidy, good decoration and location was really convenient.

If you're fortunate to spend a week here like I was, you will thoroughly enjoy it! The views were beautiful, the room was well furnished with new and modern equipment and the facilities were spotless. Staff were courteous and always happy to help call taxis for you or carry your bags. Could not recommend this place enough.

Love the blood stains on the bed sheets. 6 night stay and the same blood. Sheets never got changed. Furniture with stains, most likely bodily fluids. Dirty outdoor chairs. TV in bedroom didn't work. Too many things to list. These are just a few.

I wouldn't stay here again! The room was not clean! We walked in and the walls and coffee table were dirty, fingers and hand marks everywhere — it didn't look like it has been cleaned and I didn't want to touch anything. We had a fridge with no freezer and when asking for Ice for a sore hand we were told it was an ohs hazard. Non smoking room and found cigarette butts on our balcony on the floor. Toaster and fridge both had chips and gouges out of them. Needed to be replaced. Bed was held up by a wooden plank in the middle of it. Overall the room was disgusting and not up to scratch at all. We were on our honeymoon and it was definitely a mood kill. The hotel were informed yet still gave us a crappy room and we were told that an upgrade would cost an extra $600 — pretty disappointing — only reason we are giving an extra star is because of the lovely staff we dealt with — even though we didn't get much help with our terrible room. I wouldn't stay here again — shame as it's a wonderful location and could be way better! Clean your rooms mantra — I've never complained of a hotel before so to be doing so now on my honeymoon is pretty disappointing.

Amazing experience! Having a spa overlooking the skyline and beaches was breathtaking! Well priced, secure parking, friendly staff.

We booked an Oceanview 1 bedroom apartment on 41st floor. The room is very good with large balcony. Service is friendly and after reading reviews prior to coming, we were relieved to find much of what was said wasn't relevant to our room. Unfortunately our time here has been ruined by the constant noise from the street below. Almost 24/7 we have to listen to jack hammers, concrete saws and loud music. Not relaxing at all. Feel more stressed then when we arrived. Not Mantra's fault but a warning would have been nice. Wouldn't have booked for this time while new light rail works are being carried out during the night to meet June deadline.

Don't EVER stay here. I recently stayed here and had a Balcony Door (which clearly wasn't on properly to begin with) come off its tracks and break my toe. When we went down and explained what happened the manager was incredibly rude and practically accused me of lying and said that they don't "just come off". To top it off the room we stayed in was dirty! There was mould in both of the bathrooms, the furniture was old and broken, the carpet through the whole apartment was lifting, there were chunks of plaster taken out of walls, cracks in walls and a lot more! After submitting a formal complaint on the Sunday night after checking out for my injury and the state of the room I have been offered a 10% discount which I find completely disgusting. Will NEVER stay with Mantra again after this experience. They have no compassion whatsoever and don't care about my injury.

Was there in Feb 2014. Definately the worst hotel I have ever been too. I can write a book about how discussing this hotel is. Very unhelpful staff and management. Rooms are appalling and atrocious. Don't let the photos on the website deceive you like I was unfortunately deceived. Would have preferred to stay in a motel. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Myself and my partner recently stayed at the Mantra Circle on Cavill. We checked in on the 15th of January 2014, on arrival to our room we were shocked to find dishes in the sink with food still in them. On further evaluation of the room we found chunks missing from knives, saucepans and knives were dirty, we found hair in one bowl, there was NO toaster, there was a chunk missing from the dining table, the chairs on the balcony were flithy and the bathroom had dirt marks in it. Now if that wasnt bad enough we called reception to express our disgusted, we were told a cleaner would be there STRAIGHT AWAY. 45 minutes later and our room still looked like a pigsty, so we had to call reception once again! When they finally got someone to our room it took over an hour to clean up and it still wasnt 100% but that was no fault of the cleaners. He couldnt replace the chunks missing from the table or give us new chairs could he! So after wasting over 2 hours of our time we also missed out on going out for dinner because they were already closed.
