Magnificent! What a beautiful place to stay with the family. Beach views are terrific and we had a private heated plunge pool on our balcony which in winter was a big plus. The main pool is also heated and has stunning views out over Kirra beach. Will be back!

Me and my husband just stayed in the sub penthouse for 1 week for our honeymoon and absolutely loved every minute of it. The staff where friendly and the facilities/ room where perfect. The penthouse was spacious and quite, the amazing views just topped it off.

We are in the penthouse do. So spacious. Very luxurious. Feeling very special being able to spend time with family and friends in an extremely spacious unit.

We recently stayed in apartment 605. What can I say! This apartment is Amazing. It has everything you want for a perfect break. The apartment itself is huge! 3 bedroom 4 bathroom and a view to die for. The apartment is decorated beautifully with high quality furnishings and is completely surrounded by beautiful big windows showing off both the north and south beach views!

Wow! We stayed in a 2-br sub-penthouse with private rooftop pool. Absolutely stunning. The views over Kirra Beach magical from the apartment (1502) and rooftop pool & BBQ area. Views to the mountains behind from the rooftop pool gorgeous … could see Mt Warning and watched planes departing and arriving from Gold Coast airport. The apartment was spectacular. Kid's had their own room with sea view and bathroom area. Our room overlooked Kirra Beach and so did the spa. Awesome shower too with view to the beach. Washing machine and dryer. Plenty of glassware for wines, plates, cooking gear etc. The room was soooo clean on arrival. Sunrises were spectacular. Great shops across the road too … newsagent, awesome coffee at the cafe, brilliant pies, bread, sandwiches, croissants at the bakery and a 24 hour 7-11. The Strand shopping village is a 10 minute walk along the spectacular coastline with views across to the Gold Coast. It has a Woolworths, Also and other shops and dining and the biggest Timezone we've seen. The Jungle Mexican Cantina (near The Strand) is a MUST … best ever Mexican food and it's BYO too. Can't wait to come back to Nirvana by the Sea … 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ *** oh and thanks heaps to Doug who on our very last day managed to do a dash run to the airport with us and our luggage because the 13cabs who say "they'll get you there" didn't! Ordered a maxi cab TWO hours prior and they didn't arrive. Can't thank you enough Doug … really appreciated you going way over and above ♥️

Our two bedroom apartment was a great size and had a good side view of the beach. Kids loved the swimming pool, movie theatre, park and beach. Overall a lovely stay, we would stay again.

Sub penthouse amazing with own private pool which you need to go up a floor to get to. This included a bbq area but no fridge to store drinks or food. Beautiful views, loved watching the planes at the airport. Kitchen & lounge were not as big as I expected. Secure underground parking. Nice shops including a 7/11, bakery, pharmacy. There was a massive Executive Lounge which was lovely but probably a waste of area as no one seemed to be using it.

Located right across the road from the beach is an impressive apartment style hotel with sizable modern rooms all with great views. The decor, views and service are all a credit to this property. I'm very comfortable recommending this accommodation, you'll love it!

This time choose a double room type, the space is very comfortable, large floor-to-ceiling window sea view, how to look at is not tired, kitchenware, laundry, baking and so on are equipped with a complete, there is also a shopping mall nearby, there is a very convenient to buy ingredients, like the people who like to eat, there are also a lot of small restaurants recommended by customers, the overall is very recommended.

Beautiful hotel for a holiday. Wonderful staff, very accommodating, rooms spotless and most IMPORTANTLY it was so close to the beach and amenities and the views from our room were amazing, would highly recommend the Nirvana.

What can I say! The best place to stay on the coast. We travel a lot with the kids to Queensland and I have to say hands Nirvana by the Sea, down the most value for money, clean, quite and beautiful place we have stayed at.

5 star rooms worth the extra travel from Surfers. Coolangatta itself nice, laid back alternative. Fabulously appointed and roomy apartments.

Best hotel in Kirra! So close to the beach and nice restaurants.

Very convenient and nice. Front desk not very friendly.

Online pictures are completely deceiving. We booked the 2 bedroom private plunge pool. Room was tired and in need of a major overhaul. Stains on couch and carpet, walls were scuffed, bathroom was mouldy around the shower base. The room smelt damp and musty. Outdoor garden next to the pool was ripped out and under construction. The view is no where as impressive as the online photos have you believe — slight glimpse of the ocean but 95% carpark from the 7/11 next door. For the price and apparent 5 star rating this is not acceptable. We immediately approached reception with our concerns — reception was lovely and understanding, showed us another room which unfortunately was not much better (and no pool) —
Asked to speak with management as we had no intention on staying. The manager was clearly annoyed, she agreed the rooms needed some work but it had been so busy with bookings there hadn't been time yet (why not close the rooms? ). She wanted us to forfeit 50% of our total cost (over $500) to which I said no as we had only been in the room for 5 minutes, she then said one night would have to be forfeited — again I said no. If the rooms had even remotely mirrored the online photos we would of happily stayed. Eventually the manager agreed to a full refund but made a few underhanded comments about our standards being too high (for the price per night and online photos I have to disagree there).

So impresses with this place. Absolutely fabulous facilities, spacious unit and spotlessly clean, with easy check in and sensational views, what more could you ask for. Definitely will be returning.

Clean modern fully equipped apartment. Short walk to the beach and local cafes. Longer but flat walk around to Coolangatta for more restaurants.

If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Location is excellent — 10mins very easy walk to Coolangatta center but you are enough out of the hussle and bussle to have a quiet expansive beach. Easy access to the beach, and a park just across the road for the kids to play on. Views are amazing. Staff are wonderful, friendly, and very helpful. We stayed in apartment 1504 (penthouse) with its own rooftop pool. The star lost (or half a star if you could do halves) is just for the couple of broken/run down items within the apartment. It wasnt a major, but at the price you're paying for the penthouse you do expect everything top notch. A few missing luxuries like bathrobes/dressing gowns for eg which you'd usually expect to find in hotels of a similar price. I want to adress noise as I've seen it mention in other posts. You are in an urban area and coolangatta is by an airport. So regardless of where you stay there will be noise. However everything operates only during business hours so it is not disturbing you at night. We had a toddler who had day naps and she slept no issues during the day. We didn't factor noise as an issue at all. To summarise, I'd definitely stay here again. The location, staff, views, amenities were all fantastic.

Great location with everything at your foot step. The accommodation was excellent with high end finishes. Recommend for family trips away or even a overnighter before a flight.

Beautiful room, expensive but you get what you pay for. Would have been 5 stars had they come through on my request to have a photo of Nicolas Cage printed off and put on the master bed.

Nice hotel within reach of loads of restaurants and bars. Kids loved the cinema in the hotel. Wish we had stayed longer in the end.

We stayed here for a week, feel good. Apartments clean, spacious, fully equipped. Scenery is beautiful, we can see whales and people who surf on the balcony. Facilities at the hotel very nice and we enjoyed the swimming pool, gym and cinema. Hamburger restaurants and ice-cream shops are excellent. Children enjoy the Park across the street from here is also very convenient to the shops. Staff friendly, service professional class, I will definitely come again!

Really enjoyed our holiday at Nirvana by the Sea, well appointed apartment and facilities. Stunning ocean view from our lounge and bedroom, close proximity to entertainment, shops and restaurants. Love the heated pool and SPA, the movie theater is amazing. Have booked our next stay.

One of the best penthouse apartments fantastic views with a private roof top swimming pool and BBQ area’ no expense has been spared on the luxury quality fittings of these apartments we would consider Nirvana By the sea 5 star accommodation. We can’t wait to return Nirvana at Coolangatta it is a great place to holiday even just for a weekend break there are many restaurants with in walking distance and Nirvana is 5 minutes from Coolangatta airport.
