We very happy with our night at the Highway Inn on our road trip Adelaide to Canberra. The room service cooked breakfast was good and generally the value for money very good. I am glad we chose this motel. Thank you.

I was lucky to stay in a newly refurbished room with brand new mattress and bathroom. Great customer service and good safe car parking.

Every motel owner/host should take a look at this place to gauge what they offer as a comparison. Spacious, immaculate presentation, modern, functional and the lady at the reception was perfect. This is a gem. Kids loved the Wi-Fi after a long day on the road. Can't recommend enough.

Good value, older style motor inn — room was spacious & clean. Within easy walking distance to the bowling club which provided a cold beer & a decent feed — also within comfortable walking distance of the township.

Such a great place for such a small town! All amenities provided in the Inn. Will definitely stop by next time!

It is a motel as the name suggests. Old building wired before gadgets needed bedside charging. Forget about cooking as there is no kitchen sink. You need to contact reception for cuttlery. Location is convenient. We had spa but did have time. Spacious rooms. Easy parking. Nice and helpful people at reception.

This place is awesome. Fantastic clean, spacious, and oh so very comfortable. VALUE for money is second to none. The pool was cool and inviting, very refreshing. Bathroom was big, bright, obviously recently done up. Shower hot, and great shower head. Breakfast was delicious and really big. Our Hosts, we're just the loveliest, welcoming really genuine people. I was very happy with our stay here. The owners were very friendly and helpful, they left the key in the door for our room as we were arriving late and the light was on for us too. The room was huge! We asked for a twin room and got a lovely family room for the same price. The beds were very comfortable and firm, this was by far the best part about our stay. Very clean and cosy place to stay, good prices too. I highly recommend this motel to all! Note: owners are close to 4 stars but want to stay at 3.5.

Quite seriously, one of the best run motels we've ever stayed in. Over two separate trips they accommodated late night check ins, short notice bookings, returned lost toys, and were genuinely considerate and pleasant to deal with on every level. If every business ran as well as they do, life would be simpler for travellers everywhere. Every interaction is enjoyable. Rooms are well maintained and there is space to stretch your legs.

Owners extreamly nice bent over backwards to accommodate us, we were towing a trailer an they even helped us park it and offered to help tarp it up. Rooms were very clean smelled lovely to. Bed was fantastic. Highly recommend Highway Inn Motel Hay. Would I stay here again thats a big YES.

Very clean and nice smelling room. Well fitted out. Eveything you could want. Good size fridge. Just down the road from the Hay Services Club where we had a great meal. Friendly staff and I would recommend staying here. I would stay again.

Would highly recommend this motel very clean, tidy, very spacious, friendly staff internet special treat of chocolates on arrival and water and window washer provided outside unit to clean car windows great idea. Close to two clubs for meals would stay again if we are that way again.

Excellent service (with delicious choccies). Comfortable large room. A great selection of tea and coffee. Very accommodating for a last minute booking and plenty of room for our car and trailer.

Very pleasant reception on arrival, with small packs of chocolates. Very well presented rooms, quiet and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in Hay, NSW. Great town to visit as well.

Large room… Lovely staff… Quiet location… Clean and comfortable… Had some issues connecting to the Wi-Fi as it wasn't reaching our room in the corner… But overall lovely experience… Would give it 4.5/5 if I could…

Extremely friendly welcome with bag of home made chocolates on arrival Room was spacious and clean with a choice of coffees and tea. There was a car windscreen washer with water at car spaces for our use, a wonderful idea. The pool was clean and had a barbecue area with table and chairs Added bonus was the Home made jams, they are delicious We will stay here again I will give this motel 6 stars if I could Great value and a welcome rest spot for travellers across the Hay Plains.

Stayed overnight while driving back from Sydney. Decent size rooms and very friendly service right on the highway.

Excellent service, great shower! Staff were very accommodating.

It did the job for an overnight stay. Only complaint is that the air-conditionor barely cooled the room down making it difficult to sleep in 30+ degree weather.

Couldn't recommended anything more highly in town, great rates, right off the main street. Definitely can't go past it :)

I stayed here for a night in November. Great place. Nice owners. Very nice area too. This was one of the best motels that I found on my tour of Australia and I would highly recommend staying here. The room was massive, I have lived in smaller houses in the UK! I would highly recommend going to the RSL just up the road for a meal, fantastic food! I can't recommend this place enough.
