Customer service is poor and no ability to understand english and was very rude to us.

Currently a guest at the Grace Hotel and enjoying the experience. Lovely staff, beautiful historic building, great room, fantastic food. Couldn't ask for more.

Not a good stay for us — extremely busy — no parking — had to cart our luggage from the parking station with my son who is special needs. Long wait to check in — not overly friendly staff. Very small room but enough for me and my son. Guest services took a long time to answer for room service and towels. Would not recommend.

Stunning hotel, loved the spacious room, it was such a quiet and relaxing stay. The bed was comfy but just a bit soft on the edge. Great location in city, would stay again.

Good location in the city with friendly staff and good size room. Downfall was just a small fridge it could've been a descent size. Pillows are hard and it would have been nice to have a room with a view. Also the windows don't open hence why the air con was used.

The hotel's location is amazing, and the room was comfortable. Staff are nice enough, it is a very laid back budget friendly hotel. Only wished we were informed that the pool wasn't operating on their website as we were looking forward to it being so hot and humid. They did explained their reason being due to Covid-19… only wish they were transparent about it as other hotels pools were operating. Ontop of it our bed was wonky/uneven, I am sure they put two doubles together to turn into one… however half of the bed was lower than the other or it was tilting so we were capsized. With everything that wasn't right we couldn't be bothered telling them because their answer for everything was because of Covid-19

The Reception desk and Concierge service were Awesome. The Concierge desk helped arrange transportation to the places that we wanted to go.

We are soon checking out of the Grace after our first stay here. Suffice is to say that it wont be the last. Its a beautiful hotel, the rooms are large, well appointed and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend!

Staff very helpful. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable. Rooms spacious, bathroom and shower filled with plenty of towels etc.

Very near major shopping centres such as Queen Victoria Building and David Jones. Value for money and good buffet breakfast. Newly renovated rooms and have rooms for 4 adults. Walking distance to the Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and Sydney Opera house. Staff is very professional and friendly. Highly recommended. ❤

This is a great hotel and is in a really good location close to everything. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was nice. Our room was spacious with a nice, big shower. My only complaint (and it's minor) is the light from the AC is quite bright. I like total darkness when I sleep so I ended up using the ironing board to block it. Maybe it can be dimmed but I couldn't find it. Other than that, can't fault it.

I love this place overall. Convenient location. There's just an easy 20 minute walk to all tourist attractions near the harbour. Rooms are kept immaculately clean. The the cocktails and dishes are absolutely divine! We'll certainly stay her.

Such a historic hotel, classy interior speaking volumes of a bygone era.
we stayed on the top floor in a newly reburbished apartment and I must say it is absolute luxury. The bed, pilows and linen were 1st class and the shower was the best I have ever had in any hotel thanks to the huge rain style head. Airconditioning was fantastic, quiet and responsive. Only downside was the buffet breakfast, plenty of variety but items not replenished and many plates left empty for some time.
Overall, would recommend.

Booked in to the Grace for business. I paid around $260 for 1 night. It is well located in the heart of the Sydney CBD. The rooms are clean and the service was excellent. There are a couple of restaurants and an Irish pub on the ground floor. Plenty of pubs and restaurants near by.

Magnificent hotel in the heart of Sydney. Just 5 minutes from "Darling harbour". Located in a large, elegant building. The breakfast very complete and very well prepared. The room was very nice and the breakfast was very good. It is therefore a great hotel located in the center of a big city. It's not cheap, but the price is in line with the quality.

Location is 5 star! Rooms were big and spacious, which was a plus. But it's a bit basic looking. The staff are friendly too. The hotel is a heritage hotel done in art deco style. Got it at a really good rate compared to nearby hotels. A little too old feeling for me as I prefer newer hotels, but I'd consider staying here again in the future if the price is fair. They are currently undergoing renovations though, so hopefully, the rooms would look better! The convenience store right opposite the hotel had a bit of a high mark up for some items. Other items were ok though.

Very nice old building. The hotel is centrally located. You can reach a lot of things on foot. Large hotel room with work desk and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was also OK.
Sydney has a lot to explore. But for me a hectic city. Very loud and full.

I had a workplace off-site in the York room. The Grace staff on the front desk were really polite and helpful. The air-conditioning struggled a little, but that may have been due to how many people attended. The catering was good and if you needed a coffee, there were plenty of internal and outside places to grab one. The facilities were good too.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Travelled for work and stayed for 2 nights in a Deluxe Twin Room and found it to be a very spacious room. Only annoying thing was that there wasn’t a power point next to one of the beds which I thought was a little odd. Art Deco style building and good selection of food and beverages at the breakfast buffet.

Location is great. You're central to everything and staff were friendly. Place had a tiny lap pool, sauna and basic gym. A couple of minor negatives were our bar fridge was barely working and earliest check in wasnt till 3pm. Would stay again.

I was in 2010 and I remember it still as a pleasant experience, magical.

We stayed on the top floor in one of the newly rennovated rooms. It was the best sleep we've ever had, hands down! The bed was to die for, lush pillows and quality linen. The staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet location. Fabulous pool and gym facilities. Close to the harbour and restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

Hotel is in a good central location of Sydney. From hotel it's a few minutes walk to the opera house, botanical gardens, restaurants. The hotel lobby is really nice and when we stayed was decorated beautifully for Chinese New year. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds are great for a good night's rest and the Aircon is superb. On the eleventh floor they have a great pool, steam room and sauna which is free for hotel guests.

Most of the time, you get a decent stay at a pretty good rate (corporate rate is particularly good). The reception staff are always friendly and make you feel valued, the concierge is always happy to help you or stow your luggage. The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a bit of a let down; average food quality and standard selection of cold and hot breakfast items. If I wasn't travelling with work, I probably wouldn't stay here but for what it is, it's a 4 star experience.

We liked this hotel the reception is beautiful with high ceilings and well adorned with flowers, the rooms are very well equipped and and the litter comfortable. It has a gym with hours from 6:00 to 21:00. And an Italian restaurant in the same corner. It's very central.

This is a really great hotel. Older world charm but everything works. Very close to best CBD shopping and restaurants. Easy walking to Darling Harbour. Very helpful staff. I would stay again without question.

A lovely Art Deco style hotel in a heritage building. The history of the building is fascinating. Polite and helpful staff. Not noisy. Rooms are quite good, the desk, TV unit etc could do with a refurb, but are quite ok. Bathroom is good, would prefer single showers to shower over bath but that’s personal preference. Beds very comfortable. We stayed in a family room which was huge, one king single, one queen and one king. Plus a sofa and desk area. Had dinner in the Vapiano Italian restaurant which was attached and although not related, omg, the pasta carbonara was the best we’ve ever had. Breakfast in the grace brasserie was lovely, huge variety of food to choose from. It can be difficult to find accommodation in Sydney city, many places are just out of reach of families cost wise. This was $370 for one night for a room that could sleep a family of 5. Many places in the city are double that. We will definitely stay again if we need to stay overnight in Sydney.

Beautiful rooms and gorgeous lobby. When we arrived there was a pianist in the lounge and it really elevated things. We also happened to get the corner room and it was so much bigger than I expected a normal room to be (we didn't book a suite or anything). Room service was good and fast too.

I come here several times a year for conferences and training. The food is great (especially the buffet and dessert! ) And the facilities are really good. The staff are friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. You can be paying attention to a speaker, and barely notice your coffee cups have been removed, your water refilled and your table tidied. Fully recommend the Grace for meetings and conferences.

We stayed only 1 night but that was enough to make it our future 'place to go'. The olde world grandeur was most impressive. Friendly staff made us feel welcome. It is beautifully furnished from foyer to the bedrooms. Clean and immaculate we were greeted with wonderfully warm afternoon sun in our spacious room. The best experience was our room service breakfast. Delivered on time and hot. Poached eggs don't travel well but mine were hot and runny. Just how I like them. Everything on the tray was a revelation. The orange juice, perfect. Plenty of bacon. The yoghurt was not your run of the mill supermarket. It was deliciously topped with mixed berries. The fruit salad cut to eatable sizes and fresh. Coffee was superb. The whole breakfast experience was a credit to the chef. I rave about the breakfast because I normally never eat breakfast. We will definitely be back.

Big room at moderate price. Free Wi-Fi for 1 day. Amazing room service and quick food service for rooms. Ample selection of food. Gym is quite small. Pool is 2-3 lanes and ~1 meter deep. Relaxing therapy and massage is available with coupons. Big new LG TVs with American selection of movies and TV shows.

For the price this hotel had many let downs, from the small room size (our friends in the room across the hall had a room almost twice as large), to the fact that the sheets/ pillow covers did not get changed even after I cut my finger and bleed on them. The showers look nice but the water did not stay one temperature ever. It would go from literally burning you to ice cold. If I didn't already pay for the whole 5 days before we came I would have switched hotels. Hotel looks good but is NOT a nice place to stay.

The swimming pool is great. The service is awesome. However, the walls are thin and and you can hear your neighbours. The windows don't open, so you cannot ventilate your room. Location is perfect, Vapiano is next door and has amazing food.

Although The Grace is in a great location and has an amazing exterior our experience wasn't a good one unfortunately. We booked a Premium Family Room 3 months prior to our stay, which clearly states on the website one king-sized bed and two single beds. Upon a late arrival due to a flight delay they gave us a room with a king and one single. When we phoned reception they told us it would be an extra $60 for the single bed to be delivered and that was it. We didn't opt for this because we knew it wasn't right, also too tired to investigate the wording in our booking. After the call we discovered for ourselves the couch was a pull out, so one of us had to sleep on it with bathrobes and towels for blankets. The central heating also has a temperature control panel in the room which doesn't work leaving the room cold which didn't improve things either. Felt like a very expensive camping trip.

I visited the Grace hotel to participate in some market research being conducted in some rooms on the second floor. What a beautiful building! Fantastic old Gothic architecture that has been well and conserved and incorporated into a lovely hotel. I haven't stayed at the hotel but it is high on my list of hotels to try in Sydney.

It was a great experience at the grace hotel everyone was very helpful the food was good to but the best thing I liked the most is that the people at the grace hotel treated you as if you was their family and I like that in a hotel and the next time I'm in Australia Sydney I know we're I'm going to be staying at.

Location was prime, but they did not offer a free breakfast like we thought. You can't see the opera house from here, and the garage made you stack your cars on lifts, so you hard to know when you were going to leave so that they could pull your car down for you. The pool is also TINY. However, service was great, and the location made up for everything.

My wife and I stayed at The Grace in order to view the Vivid Festival. The staff were excellent, polite, attentive and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and we'll appointed. And the breakfast was delicious. An enjoyable experience and one that I recommend.

Have stayed at The Grace several times now and I'm always happy to come back. Staff are courteous and professional, and the rooms are clean and well appointed. Also a plus that it's right in the CBD.

We are very pleased we chose The Grace Hotel for our vacation on Sydney. It is beautiful and very ornate inside, as well as very comfortable. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. We also love the location which is very close to public transportation which we are using daily. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

The korean housekeepers wiped drink cup and toilet together by only one blue cloths. Eww disgusting why did you teach someone like that in my room Mr micky Lee or lin?

Centrally located near shopping, restaurants and bars. Excellent service and valet parking. Pool, sauna, gym well maintained. Room size is comfortable and amenities are quality. Breakfast in bed or enjoy more choices at the buffet.

Unlike some of the other hotels I've started in that were once nice but hadn't aged well, the Grace has maintained a high standard in all areas. I would make special mention of the staff who were courteous and efficient. Alexander gets things done.

Well kept old world Hotel. Attentive and helpful staff. Usual noisy air conditioning systems in the rooms. No worse than most hotels, but this is still annoying. Central location is close to everything you need and breakfast buffet has a great range including eggs/omelettes cooked to order and is reasonably priced.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the Grace, the staff were all exceptionally friendly although we did find it difficult to locate the underground carpark as we weren't familiar with the area. They supplied us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, and the rooms although clearly old had been renovated and were very nice. Would stay there again!

I've been here multiple times for seminars and presentations. It is always clean and the rooms are appropriate for the purpose but I wish they were more clearly labeled. Even though I know the room name I constantly have to search to find it. Apart from that, it is close to both wynyard and town hall and above an irish pub.

Great location. Wifi included. Near wynyard and town hall station so easily can get to circular station (opera house) if you don't want to walk 15 minutes. Also close to Hyde park, Sydney tower eye, Queen Victoria Building (mall). Building has old historical architecture with modern convenience inside. The bathrooms are very large the shower is very long. I would perhaps put more hooks on the walls or a magnifying mirror or shelf in wall to make the space more useful.

Service and location was nice. Nothing complimentary though, you'll pay for what you get.

Sorry Galen, sure you took me there first, but I'm keeping the Grace. The gothic revival grandeur of the outside contrasts beautifully with the understated modern elegance of the suites. The ever helpful staff and excellent meals almost make me feel bad for taking it. Well almost.

It has a good location, ie closed to Wynard and also Town Hall. Service is good. It has a few restaurants and a bar. However, the hotel probably requires refurbishment.

It was wonderful. The hotel is so clean and the staff are GREAT. Everyone was so helpful and so nice. The breakfast is amazing. My sister and I had the best experence ever We stayed here for 6 days and we wish it could of been longer. It is in the heart of Sydney close to Everything. We walked to the Harbor and everywhere we wanted to go. We want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH. If you want a beautiful hotel with great people the GRACE Hotel is the place to stay.
