My wife and I enjoyed a one night stay there on June 5. We had a lovely welcome with lots of great local info, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Happy to recommend.

Peter and Michelle were the most gracious and helpful hosts we could ask for. Our room was amazing, clean and homely and we had loved the spa bath. Peter took the time to patiently explain the area and provide great tips for exploring. We will definitely come back. Thank you. Gemma and family x.

Our family had a great stay. Room is spacious and super clean. Has everything you need for a family holiday. Location is fantastic, close to shops, beaches and restaurants.

Excellent value for money as a family of 5. Everything was clean and tidy. Jo made us feel very welcomed and was very accommodating. With 3 small children she even made sure we weren’t on the second floor for safety. A 10/10 motel in such a lovely part of the world. We will definitely be back.

We booked 3 rooms overnight and all rooms were excellent, very clean and highly recommended. Will definitely come back and stay longer next time. I would 100% recommend the Hawks Nest Motel. Our room was perfect. It was spacious and clean. We loved the pool also. Michele was super friendly and very quick to respond to any questions you may have. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Enjoyed our stay in motel, very comfortable bed, very clean and fitted out with everything we needed. We often stay in motels while travelling and definately up there with the best. Lovely stay here. Perfect for couples and families. Walking distance to local restaurants and boat jetty for tours. Two patrolled beaches a short drive New owners who are slowly upgrading the facilities. Exceptionality clean. I will definitely look at bring up my grandchildren and booking the two bedroom apartment.

Most definitely coming back! The owners are such lovely people and were so kind and helpful to my family and I! Very family friendly! The kids loved the pool and it was really hard to get them out of it! The rooms are very cozy and spacious! Would most definitely recommend to everyone!

I like it so much I’m going to come back again, probably a bit sooner than you think. I so recommended this motel and the owners, who treat you like royalty, almost like you are family. The pool area is beautiful, beautiful scenery and so much to see in the area. Such a wonderful place to stay if you are heading up the coast. Fay Harrison.

Great little motel in a fab location. Room was really clean and well presented, the bathroom was large with a great shower and the bed was extremely comfortable. Cafes, shops and bakeries just around the corner (almost) but the room has tea/coffee making facilities and a little kitchenette if you don't fancy a walk. Nice pool and outside barbecue area; so well presented all round. A thumbs up from us Jenny!

The Motel is in a very quiet residential area. The room (room 10) was quite spacious and had a view of sorts of the estuary. The bathroom is surprisingly large. The furnishings are a little odd and retirement homey though. The standout feature being two massive Chinese themed lamps. The local Indian restaurant is just around the corner and comes highly recommended.

We had an awful experience with this location. The staff who took in was welcoming but the manager had an attitude when we asked for bed sheets as our beds sheets seemed the was never changed and he didn’t like our request. Will never stay at this location and will double check the reviews on trip advisor.

Very clean motel with BBQ terrace and nice heated pool for swimming. Quiet location. Parking right at the house. For a motel nice outdoor seats on private terrace with direct pool-and garden access. Birdsong awakens gently in the morning.

Very clean and spacious for our family. The pool looked lovely, but we could not enjoy it due to the weather! Beach is not far.

We had a room for 4 adults but the second bed was actually a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable. They need to replace it with a proper bed. Apart from that, everything was okay.

Spacious well equipped rooms. Wonderfully peaceful with views over the river. Fabulous new pool and BBQ area. Love it.

Easy off street parking and comfortable atmosphere very close to the myall river.

Booked family room. Room was large and comfortable. The only downside is absence of stovetop.

Superb location. Just minutes to the beach. Friendly staff. Decent sized bedrooms in the 2 bedroom apartment. Drive able to nearby shops in Tea Gardens. Only thing disappointing is the tiny bathroom/toilet size.

Had dinner here a few times and I've loved it every time. The service is wonderful, location is prime and the view out to the quay is lovely. Highly recommended.

This is one of the most comfortable motels we've ever stayed in. The rooms are extremely clean and the beds superbly comfortable. The owner, Jenny, made us extremely welcome and looked after us very well. Would highly recommend this for a short break or a longer holiday.

I loved the facilities and spaciousness of 1/106 Booner Street. The staff are friendly and efficient, hope to return next year. 31-10-08.
