Across the board there isn't much to complain about. The staff are friendly and the place is modern and clean. However it's pretty outrageous to charge $25 for 2 pints of beer. It's cheaper to drink in the centre of Melbourne or Sydney than it is here…

The junction hotel is a favorite. The food and service is exceptional. Their specials menu has some delicious meals to choose from. The staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome, like royalty! Even Prince Harry and Princess Pea approve of their kids menu. Thank you Junction hotel.

Popped in for a quick drink to soak up some time before a dinner reservation. The atmosphere was nice with flowers, nice lighting, plenty of seating, bartender was a hunk, etc. Best parts were; they could legit mix a drink with fresh lemon & lime, and the music added to the atmosphere & I could still talk comfortably to my date. So many places have the music far too high which is bad for old, deaf biddies such as myself. Couldn't help but notice quite a few good looking, single guys at the bar. Apparently this is where you should begin the hunt. You're welcome, ladies.

Steak and chips was cold and service was so poor I couldn't even get someone to complain too. The room was clean and new, but had no ventilation and a strange smell. Reception closed till 10am and checkout via a fire escape. It's just a pub, trying hard to be more, but without quality staff.

Great vibe at this mid priced neighbourhood favourite. The decor is up to date, the room is light and bright, the food is better than your average hotel and it's perfect for any occassion.

We stayed in one of the rooms over night and can not fault this place. Immaculately presented room and hotel overall, brilliant service, comfortable bed, luxurious shower and only had time for dessert but it was delicious. Will definitely make this place our only accommodation from now on when we travel to Newcastle.

Easily some of the best staff of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Welcoming, friendly and manager Anthony went above and beyond each time we have stayed. Can't speak highly enough of the hotel or the staff.

The closest restaurant ever to me is one of the best in The Junction! I went to The Junction Hotel for Father's Day Dinner, but I think it can be for dinner every single day! They have a hotel, a pub and a restaurant in the same resident! (3 in 1! ) The staff were nice and gave me a Paddle Pop for free, but the foods on the menu were to die for! I had a Cheeseburger and Chips with tomato sauce and it was absolutely delicious! The crunch on the chips, the beef on the burger, everything was beautiful! "The closest resident might be the best resident. "

The Junction Hotel Restaurant — always a firm favourite Wonderful lunch again today at The Junction Hotel. Anthony and Sophia are wonderful at making sure all guests are well looked after. It was great to see the Prawn linguine back on the menu. The Prawn linguine was superb, ultra fresh pasta with a delicately balanced sauce topped with perfectly cooked prawns, a winner! The salmon served with a great combination of vegetables also delicious. No wonder The Junction is our go to restaurant in Newcastle. Highly recommended!

We have our monthly so I'll night here and I must say this is one of the nicest venues in Newcastle. The staff are fantastic and the food is incredible. The place looks fantastic and has a great atmosphere. If you are looking for a nice lunch, great dinner or just some quiet drinks look no further.

Renovations are awesome, really chanced the atmosphere of the place, lots and lots of glass. Food fairly pricey (for a pub) but was really quite nice and well presented. Had the ribs and the marinate was good.

Love the renovated hotel. Menu was creative and interesting with many great options. I picked the 300g black Angus special and enjoyed it. Good selection of beers on tap, I picked the trusty white rabbit dark ale. Food service was prompt with tables cleated as we finished each course and round of drinks. Staff were attentive friendly and approachable.

We all met at the bar for a few quiet pre dinner drinks. As it was, the tavern has a great selection of cold beers on tap but when I spotted the 'white rabbit' well that was it, you've got me! by 7 we were all sitting down at our table. Our boys took it in turn to order the food. Well I have to say, the food that turned up had to have been better than any restaurant food in Newie… Sensational, from the house made prawn spring rolls to The crispy skinned roast pork belly, The grasslands pasture fed rib eye and beyond! excellent flavors, excellent quality, service and atmosphere that is second to none… thanks to Rolly, Anthony and the team for a fantastic night… If you are looking for a great night of fine dining. Do yourselves a favour!

Was good, meal service was mostly fast, location was tight in the middle of the junction so was handy.

Welcoming and friendly staff provided great service. Menu is very reasonable priced with plenty of Gluten Free options. It was also no trouble for the Chef to adjust other meals to make them Gluten free for some of our guests. The great location and family atmosphere will have me returning again for meals in the future.

Great vibe. Over packed and loud on Friday but any other day it's great and great deletion of top line spirits.

Late Sunday big breakfast at around 1130. Bacon was tougher than jerkey. Pouched eggs that could have bounced! Coffee was not bad. Mushrooms were delicious. Tables were not cleaned from previous customers with dirty water glasses. Should have taken the hint from the quiet brunch service. Don't do it to yourself.
