Friendly accommodating staff, lovely quiet clean rooms with heating for the colder months. We had my son with us and he loved the free Wi-Fi and the free breakfast every morning. We were there for the snow and chose Mt Selwyn as it was only an hour drive away and beginner friendly with tobogganing. The drive to Selwyn was with it around the Snowy Mountains, picturesque and serene with animal spotting on the way. We will definitely be recommending the motel and Tumut for anyone wanting a cheaper snow trip. Tumut has some lovely restaurants in walking distance to the motel too so everything was very convenient. If you want a slower pace snow trip definitely stay here it was very relaxing.

Superb 4-Star accommodation. Who wants a pool anyway in order to make it a 5 star motel? Good breakfast (hot or continental) is complimentary. Caring managers.

We checked in late but the receptionist was very helpful. The rooms are very clean and made up to a very good standard. Single vehicle parking out the front of each room and there is a fruitful lemon tree in the central courtyard. Buffet breakfast was fine with the usual continental, poached eggs, bacon and sausage. Very hi tech toaster for lovers of cooked bread. Friendly staff.

Neat and comfortable motel close to the centre of town. A good base for your own walking tour of Tumut. Breakfast is included and helps make this an even better option.

Nice rooms and a quiet location. Buffet breakfast has a very small window from 8 — 8.30am but is of a decent quality.

Motel rooms right in town. The refurbished rooms are very clean and well equipped. We had the executive twin which had a queen bed and a single bed. Spacious room and the bathroom was very clean with all amenities like shower cap, shower gel, etc. Recommended for an inexpensive stay if you are passing through. The breakfast is only served between 8am and 8.30am and is very basic. Toast (3 kinds of bread), eggs, bacon, beans, few kinds of fruit juice and water, etc.

My partner and I traveled the sapphire coast for 8 days and chose Tumut to spend our last 2 days of our trip in the Amaroo Motel. I chose this motel from the internet for its new rooms and breakfast. On arrival I was greeted by a confident reception, given my key and on opening the door to our room, we were very happy with the choice. Breakfast is served between 8 to 8.30am which gives a push push feeling and the motel lacks to accommodate the guest in that respect, however it does get the guest out and about early to enjoy what Tumut and the surrounding country side has to offer. Will travel to Tumut again and will stay here again.

Clean, well set out and loved the table and chair setting outside each room. Needed a microwave in the room, though. Management was fantastic.

The place to stay in Tumut! Motorcycle friendly with undercover parking and luxurious units to guarantee a good night's sleep, add to that a superb hot buffet breakfast, cold beers at reception and a genuine smile welcoming you and you have a winner.

The absolute best place of the last eight motels I've stayed in in NSW. New, impeccably clean, right in town center. Highly recommend.

Following our last year's visit, we came back again. We are on the road a lot, I'd say this is by far one of cleanest, best value motel. Highly recommended if half way to Mel-Syd, or on back-hill way to the snowy mt.

We enjoyed our stay at the Amaroo renovated rooms. Value for money. The owners were extremely helpful in organising special parking for our seven motorbikes. We would stay again.
