What a difference new owners make, a wonderful resort, wonderful staff, heaven on earth.

Everything it's picture perfect and so close to everything. Home beach across the road is the most beautiful on the island with a gorgeous lagoon and the surf. Also off leash for dogs. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make me feel at home. The onsite cafe is a bit disappointing.

Not worth for money… the facilities what they are showing on their website are not there… very poor lighting all over the place which caused my friend to fall over n injure her ankle… n sensor lights are not working… very poor hot water systems… no Wi-Fi facility (only in pool area) … not good for families… bcoz the rooms are not connected…

Cute little beachshaks, only thing the bench seat/ lounge was uncomfortable and the aircon didn’t reach the bedroom loft which made it really hot! Really nice staff, nice pool area, just wish Wi-Fi worked in the shak (had no reception) would stay again!

Cozy, relaxing place excellent for long or short stays with family, friends or just by yourself. Great location. You can walk to many places. There are different options for accommodation including villas and bungalows/shacks. We stayed in one of the shacks which was excellent. It was like a small one bed room duplex studio unit. There was a mini kitchen, fridge, washing machine in the room. At the back was an open deck. The beach is just 3 minutes walk across the road and some bushes. Staff are very friendly and nice. Lots and lots of birds singing to wake up to in the morning.

Had a wonderful stay at Allure Resort Stradbroke Island. The accomodation was perfect for our little weekend getaway. It was a surprise birthday stay and we were kindly welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine on arrival. Thanks so much Laura and the Allure Resort team! X.

Great little shacks, clean and have everything you need. Easy walk to the beach across the road. Can't park near the shack you stay in so carrying all your stuff to some of the back shacks would be annoying. Towels in the bathroom were so small, they would have been great for a 2 year old. Apart from that good location for a weekend visit.

Great accommodation for a couple looking for some time away. We were staying in one of the 'shacks', which had a small kitchen/laundry, a reasonable sized living area (TV and foxtel), and a generous loft/bedroom with a queen bed and some storage. We were very happy with the amenities and cleanliness of the unit (they do require guests to clean up after themselves). All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The pool and common areas were well maintained and clean. There is a cafe (licensed) on site that does a full breakfast and lunch menu, and pizzas in the evening. My only quibble would be the Wi-Fi policy, Wi-Fi is only available in the pool area, and only for two daily blocks of 500mb or 1 hour (whichever comes first) per device. While this was a bit inconvenient given we also did not have any mobile signal on site, we were ultimately quite happy to be spared the constant chirping of devices. The beach is less than 500m from the site, just across the road and through some light bushland. The local bowls club is next door, which had reasonably priced drinks and bowls, as well as a decent pub style food menu. Overall allure was an excellent place to stay, and we are planning on visiting again.

Just stayed here for our last weekend away before bubs here. Was a nice little get away! Cute little beach shacks, friendly staff and a great cafe and pizza on site (pizza was delicious! ). Directly across from the beach so it was lovely waking up grabbing a coffee and sitting on the beach in the morning. Great location in the middle of everything. Will defiantly be staying here next time.

The shack was average in all aspects, the heated most non heated pool ever, no Wi-Fi in rooms, only by the pool and the cafe, of which I will be doing a review on later. Also the furniture was uncomfortable, water pressure in the shower was dismal, but the worst thing of all, the crows, crowed all night and very early in the morning, hence no sleep. Very overpriced for what it offers, and the topper was NO house keeping, if you used it you cleaned it, otherwise you paid a a fee. Save yourself the pain, book elsewhere. Never going back. 1

Not happy with the sleeping arrangements provided for 5 couple. 3 bed rooms were great but one bedroom had 4 bunk beds for 2 couples. How ridiculous? Couples on holidays with 4 bunk beds in one room.

We stayed in shack 4. Clean and tidy. Great position. We’ll be back.

Good location, can be noisy with neighbours so close. Would stay there again however if you have young children find out about sleeping arrangements as the accomodation is in two seperate sections not being attached to main pod.

North Stradbroke is just so underrated — can’t believe this untouched beauty is so close to Brisbane! Allure is in the ideal location to enjoy the island and the loft style ‘shacks’ really make it feel like you’re on holiday. Can’t wait to go back.

Perfect location and the excellent customer service. We keep coming back to Allure Plus now they have the french cafe in front it is just the best place on straddie.

Great place, great location, great facilities and great cafe. We loved our shack which was perfect for a family. Home beach was fantastic and right across the road, the pool was perfect for children and the reggae cafe served awesome food. The staff are very welcoming. Would highly recommend this place.

Had a really good stay in one of the basic cabins. The cabins are quite basic but they are charming. Little overpriced though but that could be said for the whole island. Would stay here again easily.

Great location We stayed in a 4 bed villa Good for families with older children 3 min walk to the beach Need to cross a road then through some trees.

We stayed in the 2 vedroom delux villa. What can I say! It was one of the best holidays I have had. Staff were amazing. Was quiet and so peaceful. Right across from home beach and the cafe was amazing. We will come back next year!

We lived in a shack for a short time in the resort and absolutely loved it. The facilities such as the pool and gym and cafe out front are fantastic! Awesome management and super friendly staff and 2 minutes from the skate park, basketball courts, footy field and beach. If we ever moved off straddie this is where we would stay for a holiday!

Beautiful natural setting, simple but cosy accom with all the modern comforts included. Beach is over the road, will be back.

Rooms Really small, toilet and shower had thier own seperate roof with no insulation so it’s extremely cold, sky light leaked, showers were really poor in reguard to what I paid for! The pool Facilities were not up to the standard advertising on thier behalf, overall very disappointing for the amount of money paid would not stay again! The only reason it gets 1 star is the cafe is splendid.

Wasn't to bad comfortable enough bit of a walk from carpark dishwasher broken bbq wasn't working though it was fixed after I told reception.

Pleasant stay to attend a wedding. Fairly comfortable but the layout was a bit weird. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location with a beautiful beach across the road and walking tracks around.

I liked it. But it's not for eveyone… Firstly, the staff. Bloody friendly, helpful and checked us in quickly and with no fuss. Lots of parking. Secondly, the facilities. A great little pool, and the restaurant made the best pizzas, with a solid variety of other options. Dine in once, you wont be disappointed. It's BYO too. Take Chianti, have pizza. Finally, the accomodation. Clearly, built on a budget. Dont be put off by that, it's somewhere to sleep. Air-conditioning worked very well (stayed in Summer), the amenitites were very clean and functional, and there was cable TV, with all the channels unlocked. It's walking distance to a lovely beach, and a short drive to beautiful beaches and great local food and bars. Go there because it's priced well, delivers the essentials well, and has a great eating place. It's Straddie, you're there to unwind. This is a good place to base yourself.

The resort wasn't too bad. We had some sort of bugs biting us on the couch, the microwave and washing machine didn't work, we didn't get any Wi-Fi at all in the room (but this was part of the ad for the place) and the light in the bathroom flickered. Like I said on the surface the place is nice and in a good location, I just think they need a really good clean up inside the rooms and a few maintenance issues done.

Wonderful setting and a great location, just across the road from a beautiful beach. Unit was clean and well equipped with private deck and barbeque. Grounds were well maintained and blended nicely with the surrounding bush; pool was warm and clean. The community garden was a nice touch and really added a fresh taste to the evening meal.

Excellent location with home beach just opposite the road. Bungalows are well equipped with clean amenities. There is a cafe/restaurant on site which also serves good food if you don't want to cook.

Good was good. Wait times very long.
