The Little National Hotel is a beautiful place to stay in and would highly recommend it.

Always enjoy my stays here and I have had many. Has everything you need and nothing you don't with great beds and great movies.

The bed was absolutely the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Beautiful views and amazing staff.

This is our favourite hotel in Canberra, we have stayed here so many times I lost count! The bed is so comfortable, the staff are always so helpful and friendly. I love the big window next to the bed, the room feels cosy and very homey. I don’t think we’ll ever stay anywhere else! The buffet breakfast at Buvette is always lovely. Staying here for two nights at a time is never enough.

A great place to just relax. Rooms are cozy and fireplace in bar/lounge well worth sitting nearby with a book.

Stayed here last week. Room is exactly what name says “little” with just bed and very small table. Bed was too soft for this goldilocks after reading all the reviews. Bar area lovely but long wait to get served. Also beware of the little small print on the complimentary drink offer that’s on the bed. Shower also leaked water all over rest of bathroom. Parking also has no direct hotel access and all facilities across the road. Did the Bliss package and restaurant dinner was spectacular!

My Boyfriend and I loved this place. Although the room was small it didn't feel cramped. It was clean, modern and had a number of finishing touches that were a great suprise. The bed was big and comfortable/cosy next to a large window with a nice view. The Staff were very friendly as well.

The bed was so comfortable, and the enormous window next to it let in such warm sunlight that we totally forgot it was only ten degrees outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful, everything was clean and modern, and the location was great (lots of trendy places to eat a short ways away). There's an area for relaxing and having drinks with a great view.

Great little hotel for a quick stopover in Canberra. The beds are huge and super comfortable, and the double story library area is a great place to relax. In house meal options are limited, but it’s a short walk from a few excellent restaurants and an easy taxi ride into Civic or Manuka for more dinner options.

Great little hotel for a quick stop over on the way to the snow or for an easy place to stay in Canberra. The room is small but doesn’t feel cramped, it has all you need. The bed is huge & really soft to sleep on. The TV is within the bed unit & has free movies and TV shows. The room is also prepared with a small teapot with a great brand of evening tea Pukkah. Overall a great experience and really worth a stay if you want: — Quality — Cost effectiveness — Cleanliness & Modern touches.

Fresh clean with a minimalist viewpoint. No real thrills but functional. Most of the hotel dining and drinking facilities were unavailable. Suitably located near other facilities. Room was warm and bed was comfortable. Probably not worth the money and will try somewhere else next time.

The hotel is great. It's located right near the CBD and is a cozy comfort for those seeking a home away from home. The parking is a bit bizarre as it is basically the front door. But if you come from the correct side you won't make the same mistake I did!

Loved my stay here! The rooms were small but very well designed. They felt luxurious and had everything I needed. Small touches like the sleepy tea, robes and nice toiletries were lovely. And the beds were great! The service was also fantastic. I received a SMS before I arrived asking if I had any special requests, reception staff were lovely on arrival, and questions I had after my departure were answered promptly.

Different and lovely design features (eg internal garden court yards). Smaller rooms than your average hotel but great communal area for work. Great big glass windows although given the bed is encased on 3 sides by either walls or window it makes it difficult to climb in and out of for a couple. It's a great place in terms of value for money if you are traveling alone on a business trip. Good location.

A fantastic, super modern style hotel with everything you can expect including a massive gym (with deadlifting platforms! … unheard of for a hotel gym! ) and a delicious breakfast buffet both located at a partner hotel across the road. The beds are comfy, too! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back.

Very nice room, clean and comfortable with everything you need. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in! And being right next to a big window was really cool. Everything was very modern and sleek, the shower was amazing and the lounge/bar very cosy. We loved everything about this hotel! Will definitely be staying again. Only suggestion for improvement would be to be more clear on parking arrangements as we arrived to a full car park and had to go back into the lobby to find out we could also use the public car park and our room key to get in and out of there.

Its modern and chic. Really cool hotel. The bed is just fantastic, so soft and comfortable. Sheets are silky smooth. But one thing that I didn't expect from a hotel of this quality is that the toothbrush cost $5. I understand it's about being environmentally friendly but you can provide these essential amenities to guests at their request and not charge extra. Plus there is not a supermarket or convenience store near the hotel so I had no other choice in the middle of the night.

All kinds of awesome. Was just in town for one night and my son and I had an amazing stay.
The bed and pillows were unbelievable, the room cosy, the decor of the hotel really cool. The lounge, guest bar and library were a quiet sanctuary. Loved the restaurants across the road for dinner and breakfast and the convenience of being able to charge the meals to your room. Thanks Little National. We will be back.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel with some very friendly staff. Highlights of our stay: — king sized bed with a view of the lawn below — full length glass that does not obstruct the view — stylish fit out — massive shower heads — very relaxing lounge/library area with daily specials on drinks — bright and spacious corridors lined with interesting artwork and artefacts One thing that can be improved though was the bin in the toilet. It is very small and needs a lid. It should definitely sit on the floor instead of the lower shelf of the storage rack.

Little National Hotel is a great place to stay in Canberra. The rooms are small, however the rooms are very well equipped. Each room comes with a pod coffee machine as well as carefully selected toiletries. The staff are very helpful and willing to assist. There is a Library with a great view with complimentary teas (quite a big selection) and coffee (also a sparkling water tap — amazing). Stayed there twice both alone with my wife. Generally quite well priced to receive a product which is normally reserved for a higher price tag.

Great hotel! Comfortable rooms, helpful staff and great location. I would have given 5 stars however, I booked the spa package and on arrival they informed me that there were no massages available at Hale spa. Instead they gave me a shorter massage at The Mudd Spa plus complimentary breakfast to make up for it. Would definitely book again but I would recommend booking the massage yourself as far on advance as possible.

Little National was a great option for a short stay in Canberra. The rooms are compact, but very thoughtfully designed, so we never felt cramped. I especially appreciated little touches like the automated blackout blinds and the properties Pvt and complementary T2 tea. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable enough. Tiny room. Only fits 2 ants. Swimming pool is in another premises. Floor is slippery everywhere after showering as the drainage is poor. Only 150x150mm drain positioned weird. Bathroom has a little floor stool. If you slip in the bathroom you have a chance to break your neck on the stool just like Million Dollar Baby. The only good thing is the staff was knowledgeable and professional, despite the challenges of a disjointed facility.

This is a fun hotel. The location is easy to get to and convenient, and quiet overnight. There are some nice bars and restaurants in the local area. But the room is the star, very comfy and with some cool high tech features. Some of my colleagues think the mattresses are too soft, and they are very soft. But I'll be back here again, I enjoyed my stay a lot.

Super beautiful rooms and friendly staff.

Very stylish place, designed with a great attention to detail. That being said, the power outlets in my room were faulty, and upon my arrival the AC unit was blasting air so cool that I had to wear two sweaters for half an hour. Hopefully these are just teething pains. Otherwise my stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

Amazing little hotel — with great view when the sun sets and rises. The hotel rooms are equipped very well and the bed… like jumping into clouds! Trust me at 100kg I usually make firm beds sink but this was Amazing! The lounge areas were great just to chill (I watched cricket) whilst my gf read for local things to do. The only reason I won't give this place 5 stars is because there was no breakfast instead I had to go over the road and pay $35 for a buffet… yes $35 Breakfast buffet.

Simply loved this lovely hotel. It's very unique! Superb clean and comfy rooms, outstanding lounge areas with free coffee and amazing views, great location and friendly staff. Also you can use facilities of Realm hotel across the road.

Fantastic hotel. Modern room with decent room size. Very quiet. Staffs are friendly. Lounge area has nice view. Self service Piazza Doro coffee and T2 available there. Actually I love this hotel. We'll definitely stay here on my next Canberra visits.

Perfect hotel for a frequent traveler. It's good for a night of two — if you're staying longer, look for something bigger. The rooms are small, but exactly what you need for an overnight trip. Good amenities and access to a good gym. Located in the parliamentary triangle.

Perfect for the solo traveller. Even from outside the building, the Little National Hotel is a treat to the eyes. Each room is small, but very smart. Somewhere out there, there is an interior designer that is well and truly underpaid — the rooms, whilst small, are so beautifully decorated you will never want to leave. Likewise, the corridors and lobbies are laden with contemporary art pieces. The hotel is home to a two storey library that looks onto parliament house. The only downfall was the lack of food available on the nights I stayed — I ended up needing to rely on a friend to take me out. Would highly recommend; so much so that I am planning a trip to Canberra so that I can stay here again.

Visited the Little National Hotel Canberra during the forage festival. The hotel had public parking which was a multi story offered free for the day. The forage festival had live music, food and beer from the local Bentspoke brewery which was awesome. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy. Rooms were well decorated and the beds were comfortable. All in a very nice stay.

4 stars for a 4 star hotel. Beautiful, modern interior with great amenities. Had a difficult time adjusting to the incredibly soft bed tho. Bathroom may need abit more attention — yellow stains in the sink. Parking was convenient and location decent.

Loved this hotel. We stayed over the Easter weekend so the area around the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. We were greeted by friendly helpful staff on check-in and through out our stay. Accommodation rooms were nice, modern & clean. And we liked the communal shared spaces which included a bar/lounge and a library with complimentary tea & coffee facilities.

Really cool hotel. So modern and comfortable at the same time. Staff are extra friendly, buffet breakfast was epic though not included in the room price. Room was small but the design is a very good use of the space and there is plenty of common space to enjoy.

Great hotel with everything you could want. For the price, I doubt you'd find a better hotel in Canberra. Unbelievably comfortable beds and the light blocking blinds in the room work brilliantly. Wifi is fast and free. The work area is comfortable and private. Printer facility is free and easy to use. I can't fault this hotel and will definitely stay again.

There are two levels of accommodation above a multi level car park so it is very quiet, the room we had was quite small but so well designed that it didn't matter. There is a place called the library where you can work and coffee machine is provided, and had a view over Canberra.

Great place, convenient location, well designed and modern. Service was excellent and staff were understanding and helpful. I felt very comfortable here. Room seems small at first but its in fact very efficient use of space and I loved it.

Great new hotel. Rooms are small so good for one or 2 people. But very comfortable and have everything you need. Parking included and close to restaurants and manuka oval. Great lounge space and gym. Very comfy bed.

The weekend away at the Little National Hotel was fantastic. Greeted by the lovely staff upon arrival and clearly instructed to my room. Staff provided advice on where to eat for breakfast the next morning, activities for the weekend and reminded me of access to the lounge area, study space and gym. The room was clean and very comfortable. All equipment was in great working order. Both nights of my stay I enjoyed the free movie range on the room smart tv, perfectly placed to lay comfy in bed. The bed was the best I have slept on! Overall a fantastic stay and I am looking forward to visiting again.

Nice staff, good services but seriously can you please get a aircon service to the rooms that worked. Booked in for 6 nights to recover from surgery and have spent 4 days trying to get the room at a comfortable temperature but the aircon system does not work. I was offered another room but the system in that room didn't work either. Young staff were trying to be helpful, saying they understand my situation, but really, 4 days in a hot room post surgery, I am not sure that is actually really understood. Staff nice but Hotel really needs to sort out its heating/cooling.

First I was a bit skeptical because of the small rooms. But the technology and the facilities make up for it. And it's kind of nice having the bed next to a window wall. The bed was a bit too soft for my taste. Excellent gym facilities.

The staff friendly, informed and very helpful. The rooms are impeccable the only draw back is their size or lack thereof. Good for business, wouldn't recommend for a long stays. Saying that, will certainly be a favourite stop for quick stopovers.

The hotel was impeccable, staff were absolutely wonderful, and the room although small was fantastic and perfect for our needs! Definitely will book through this hotel again.

Lovely place. If you aren't too concerned about having a lot of space, then this is your hotel. Not really good for small children though As the rooms are small. But for overnight stays, or if you're looking for something simple and a place to sleep whilst you explore Canberra, then this is perfect. Spend the money you save on local experiences.

OMG! This place is sooo trendy it hurts! Seriously, it will be out of date next month. The room is quite literally the size of a walk in cupboard. One person has to crawl into the bed because it is jammed into the room, only one side is not up against the wall. We asked if we could get some supper somewhere and we were told nothing close was open (2100 on a Saturday). So we got the microwaveable meal on offer. Had to take it to the "library" to heat it up, then back to the room. Yes this place has a library! But it is so trendy there are no books, just data ports! If it hadn't been so expensive it would have been funny.

Love the small rooms and big beds. Library is good for work and drinks in the lounge in the evening are relaxed. It's like a high end boarding house that serves alcohol.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Great place to stay and what every hotel should aspire to! Room internet was FREE and super fast (50mbit up & Down) had a pod machine in the room, some great break out areas. KING size bed. Fantastic for the price!

We have stayed at all three motels. I really loved LN. The room was big enough and quirky. We loved the library and the gym at the Rhealm was awesome. Would thoroughly recommend.

The staff were really lovely and friendly. The hotel is very modern and well appointed. I loved the library and bar. The free parking was a bonus too. Highly recommended, 5 stars!

This was my second stay at the Little National and needless to say it was another amazing stay there. Just a shame the Cafe in the lobby still has not officially been open for business. However very keen on having breakfast there on my next stay. Personal favorite are the insanely comfy beds! You just never want to get out! The entire front office team is extremely polite, special shout out to David for being so helpful and helping me sort out my plans whilst staying in Canberra. Especially the recommended eateries where amazing! Can only recommend anyone planning a trip to Canberra to ask David for things to do and places to eat. Will be back soon and very stoked!

Stayed at the Little National for one night. Clean rooms, has a Japanese look and feel to it… warm brown floors, wooden frames around the bed and a glass window that overlooks some bamboo plants with a large white screen ahead. The bed is super and had a great nights rest. The rooms are tiny though and this is meant to be a sort of "budget" stay but I ended paying high end rates because there's nothing else available in town. Would have rated higher if the room had "some view" and wasn't that poky. Else a nice clean place with courteous staff and clean modern looking rooms.

Very modern and clean hotel in a convenient location within Canberra. Free Wi-Fi, T2 tea and very comfy beds are nice additions too.

Compact well thought out rooms (the width IS the size of the bed, TV on wall) common areas are spacious library etc. 20 min walk to NGA, Questacon.

Beautifully designed hotel that was clean and high tech. However, one of the high tech part (block out blinds) failed and didn't work in our room. So our stay was less enjoyable when we weren't able to sleep in the next morning and we weren't able to change rooms because the hotel was fully booked.

Clean and Comfy room. Nice area. But the wall divider is thin. So could hear noise easily from next door.

Room is very compact, the bed can be difficult to get out of for the person sleeping closest to the window if there are two guests — they have to climb over the other and wake them up. The ironing board is quite short and needs more padding-the metal frame pattern came through onto my dress when ironing. Definitely not somewhere to stay for more than two nights or for business trips as the table is quite small and there is minimal room for documents-have to spread across the bed. The nespresso, tea and biscuits were all delicious and added a quality finish. The hardwood floors and mirrors make the room look much longer/larger than it actually is. The USB power points are a great touch and the blackout blinds are perfect for sleeping past the sunrise. The pillows are perfect-like lying back into a cloud — and the bed is wide enough (super King) to move during the night without waking up another guest (and possiblt room for 3 quite comfortably). The 'library' has a vast selection of teas and coffees and the bae-although not used — had plentiful seating and views of the skyline. Staff were friendly, however on our first stay had a phone call from the front desk (recognises by the phone number only) stating someone was meeting us downstairs. Clearly a misdial, but they did not state who they were let along who the person was meeting downstairs providing more confusion to myself being half awake.

Great hotel. Very modern and top quality finishings. Loved the breakfast at the Realm and Burberry. One thing I found was a the hotel stinged on amneties. A few of my colleagues required toothbrushes and at first the hotel wanted to charge us for them! In the end we did get them for free but nevertheless there was an absense of provided amneties when compared to other hotels.

Fantastic little boutique hotel. Immaculately designed. Loved the touches of art on the corridors. Super friendly reception staff, and cleaning staff. Lovely library to just chill out in and watch the day unfold. Highly recommended and will definitely be back the next time in Canberra.

Comfortable room with very modern features such as the blinds and light switches. The bed was comfortable and the buffet breakfast at hotel realm was great. Very happy.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Although the rooms are small they are very space efficient, very clean, and had everything we needed! The hotel is situated away from the city (closer to parliament house) so it is best to drive to the city. Otherwise, bikes are available for hire at the hotel, and buses are around every so often (but are expensive and aren't readily available on weekends). We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Lovely little hotel small but modern rooms with very comfortable beds. Free parking available for guests just park inside and when you get your room key you can throw out the temporary paper one that the parking machine gives you. ALSO Free coffee available in the lovely little "library" which is more of a study space as it lacks any and all books.

Perfect if all you really want is a room. Very minimalistic and neat. Open shared areas are very useful and welcoming too.
