It's nice… rooms are neat and tidy, all be it a bit small. Good tech fit out in the rooms and comfortable mattresses… staff are lovely and very welcomong and helpful.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was quite spacious. Would recommend!

You'd never guess it from the outside — but a very good hotel. Very easy to miss (it looks like a standard list of apartments). Very modern — all the features you need and probably the best hotel gym I have ever seen.

We went for high tea and it was quite nice. The food was good and the atmosphere was really pleasant. The service was a little slow but it was a Sunday afternoon and I think one of the girls was only new.

Price was fantastic in comparison to the service that they provided. Rooms were always filled with fresh sheets, towels and the appropriate necessities each day. Access to gym and pool was pretty damn good with fantastic equipment for that great leisure experience. Overall would recommend.

Terrible value for money. Worst buffet breakfast ever! Very unclean from the sheets to crumbs in the cupboards, dirty cutlery and stains on the walls. Been waiting over an hour now for housekeeping to come and vacuum a broken bowl and bring more milk. Can't wait to get outta here. Stay anywhere else.

I love the modern vibe of this hotel. Every time we stay here, we always have good sleep. Free parking and fairly large modern gym/s are a plus! Customer service is excellent! Will always stay here whenever we're back in Canberra.

Nice big hotel room. Actually its a apartment. Its a little confusing to get to the room so you might need help to get there since everyone gets a map to your hotel room. Its a DOMA hotel so you get gym access at Realm and other place. Nice free movies on the TV.

The Burbury Terrace for High Tea is beautiful. Great setting, lovely views and very attentive staff. Unfortunately, the food was quite a let down. The bread for the mini sandwiches were dry and some of the sweet cakes were hit and miss. The scones were cold and the homemade jam was very runny. However, the staff were fantastic and very attentive and this is why I have given four stars. Recommendation would be to have fresher food and this would easily be five stars! Thank you.

Burbury was good. Clean with well appointed rooms. Friendly staff. The air conditioning in my room was a bit too strong though. Felt like a dried prune in the morning.

Was disappointed with my stay I the Burbury hotel. Our stay was in the apartments and not the actual hotel itself which may have been a better option. The apartment whilst spacious was very tired and in need of a refit. The furniture was old and worn, the carpets & lounge very stained and the kitchen area was stark and almost clinical. There was an overwhelming smell of mildew of which required the rooms to be aired. As I was an overnight stay and we had a busy evening we didn't ask to change rooms. In hindsight we should have. On a positive note, the bathroom was good and the bed was extremely comfortable.

I was very excited for my overnight stay at the Bunbury Hotel as part of a Red Balloon package I received for my birthday, unfortunately I was disappointed almost every step of the way. According to our package we were meant to stay in a "Deluxe room", but the room we stayed in wasn't much bigger than our bedroom at home. Both our room and the hallway outside it had stains on the wall and ceiling, and seemed like the hadn't been vacuumed in a week or so. Worst of all, we found several blood like stains across our bed sheets. The staff member was so aggressive about refunding a double charge on my card at check out that I didn't feel it was worth complaining about the room state to him. Not only that, they lost our reservations for the high tea in the lounge and had no record of us pre-paying for the meal, although the high tea itself was delicious. Very disappointed! It absolutely ruined my birthday. There are better and cheaper hotels in the area.

Nice boutique hotel. Love the room and the service. Only pity you need walk cross the road to access pool.

Good/very friendly staff, quality rooms, clean and quite. But… the high end TV system regularly fails and NO HOT WATER on several occasions. Having said that; I like the place and I shall return.

We've stayed here a couple of times and love it. It's a dark, moody hotel with light and bright, comfortable rooms. A few bars, restaurants and cafes around the hotel making getting dinner easy by foot when you arrive after a long drive.

Very modern and stylish apartment with everything you need for a short or long stay. Great balcony to relax. A big plus is the washing machine in the kitchen. I was very interested in buying two bathrobes of the hotel, but it took over 45 minutes of waiting at the reception due to slow housekeeping.

Modern, clean and good value. An environmentally conscious hotel with motion-sensored lights in the common areas. Electric blinds were a nice gadget in the king-sized rooms. My only gripe was the tight underground carpark.

Burbury is one of the series of partner hotels in the Realm precinct and is one of the better designed of the group of them. The service at the front reception can seem to be a little brisk and my interaction with them was fairly superficial and not entirely welcoming to be honest. Otherwise the rooms and facilities are all good and the free movies is a bit of a bonue.

Always a fantastic time away staying at The Burbury. Value for money this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at anywhere in the world. You don't get all the 5 star perks of bell boys and round the clock room service however the rooms are about a luxurious as they come and definitely match most 5 star CBD hotels. This is the only place I would stay in Canberra from now on. Have not tried the apartments as yet, have always stayed in one of the Burbury Hotel Rooms.

Had our christmas party there went for high tea. It was an amazing experience. Food was fresh and yummy and great atmosphere too! Would definitely go there again.

Had a lunch at the Japanese restaurant within the hotel — Lilopang. Food is Japanese fusion. Reasonably priced and great quality. Serves were of a good size. We had the working lunch. Great service. Highly recommended. I do suspect that the restaurant is an independent tenant at the hotel and I have no idea as to the hotel otherwise.

Spacious room and clean furnishings. Reception staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is good with restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Loved It! The bed was a cloud. Decor was fantastic. My only complaint was the front desk staff who didn't offer any information about the facilities and were not overly helpful when asked.

Good but not enough. I stay in the hotel not apartment, two nights. No house keeping during the stay. The receptionist didn't tell me the restaurant is not open on monday for breakfast when I ask her.

Make sure you upgrade to suite if staying in the non apartment rooms. Standard room is too dark and noisy. Odd fittings, ie, next to sink the towels are kept in cupboard, but cupboard handles have no finger hook so if u have wet hands, they slip off and u can't get to the towels. The kitchenette in the suite is just an electric fry pan, no range hood though so the room fills with smoke and leaves smell etc. No aerated knife's so if u cooked steak you're out of luck. There's literally 35 butter knives in the room though… 35…

A great location and professional service from staff. Only stayed overnight but the rooms were fantastic and modern. Would stay again.

Have been staying at this hotel every time when visiting Canberra. At the beginning the experience was really good, huge feather pillows and linen were a main reason to choose this hotel. Unfortunately, last two times there was only one feather pillow and other 3 were something different really hard to sleep on. The TV in the room won't turn off using a remote control. Sink was blocked, the vanity kit box was empty. Clock on the bedside table was missing. It's really sad because it used to be my favorite hotel. Hopefully there will be improvements.

I am on day 4 of a 29 day stay at the Burbury Hotel in Canberra hotel and I would move out immediately if it were possible. When you check their website you will see that it looks like a normal hotel with facilities such as bars, restaurants and gym but when you get here you find that there is only a mediocre breakfast room in this hotel and the other facilities are in a sister hotel across the road which for me is a con. The mini bar prices in the room are extortionate and i…t was badly stocked so I asked reception this morning before I left for work to empty the fridge for I decided since I am here for a few weeks I will buy things that I like from the supermarket at less than half the price. When I returned to my room tonight I discovered the room had not been made up and there was a card under the door from the maid saying my 'do not disturb' light was on so she did not service my room. I knew that this was absolutely not the case and then it occurred to me that one of the staff had come into my room and emptied the mini bar as I had requested. Obviously they must have flicked the do not disturb like on when they left or had ignored the light. Either way is bullshit service. My take from this is that the staff are lazy plus the maid could have checked with reception but she could not be bothered. This sort of nonsense makes me furious for this is an expensive hotel and at the moment I feel seriously conned.

Great priced package 30day advance, comfy beds, clean linen, spacious rooms, friendly staff. Was delayed with check in : (had tired kids who had to wait, was given complimentary drink vouchers. Our dryer was faulty, staff offered to dry them. We were on 5 floor, No lift in building. Did not get to use any of facilities, so no comment. Overall good stay!

Although I've only stayed at 5 hotels in Canberra, this is by far the best yet. I travel a fair bit, and it's good that I've found a place in Canberra that I won't hesitate coming back to. Unbeatable for its very reasonable price. Service is far beyond what your paying for… You won't be disappointed.

This place is amazing. Surrounded by delicious restaurants, I've stayed in the hotel but more often in their apartments. The hotel and the apartment are so beautiful and the beds are the most comfortable one that you will find in a hotel. I love their linen and their pillows too! Enough said about the bed, you will truly be able to have a "home" holiday away from home. I have been back here a few times already and that surely won't be the last time. Also the staff is so friendly and professional. It was my birthday and they got the entire staff to sign in a Happy Birthday Card. If this is not doing the extra miles to make your clients happy, I dont know what is! Thank you to all the team! You've got a very satisfied customer here!

Cheap deals, check in was a breeze. Great safe and secure place and location is just an added bonus. Staff was very well mannered and dressed. Rooms were a bit bland. Could have few more photos and/or some more colour to the rooms apart from that loved the people.

Booked a normal room, but got "upgraded" to an apartment that was extremely spacious (2 beds, 2 baths, kitchen). Nothing wrong with it, except would have preferred a smaller, comfy room.

Stylish & modern hotel in a nicely designed precinct. Rooms are large enough for a couple and have a great assortment of amenities. The use of the pool & spa in the Realm Hotel is a big plus! (On weekends) You can even find free parking close to the hotel.

Terrible noise issue with skip bins being emptied every morning at 8 am including Sunday which I'm sure is illegal … that's 3 skip bins with glass bottles in, including the moving of the skip bins DON'T BOOK A ROOM FACING THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL these bins are bing emptied from the back of their sister hotel Accross the road.

The Burbury Hotel in our nation's capital if beautifully designed and furnished however small issues stopped our stay from being perfect. The bed was comfortable and the room rather spacious, however acoustic isolation from the toilet and shower was non existent which makes bathroom experiences awkward. Our toilet paper roll holder was also broken. The automatic blinds did not close the entire way, and the Apple TV system was unnecessarily complicated and made a whooshing sound constantly. When staying there try maple and clove for breakfast and the chairman and yip for dinner.
