Room was unclean, linen had hairs on them, blanket in linen cupboard covered in stains, chairs were extremely soiled along with sofa. Floors and shower not clean. Hallways to room had so much dust on skirting boards. Won't stay again.

Cleanliness and facilities provided are exceptional.

(Abode Woden). The room was quiet, very clean, well-appointed and pleasant to be in. Great bathroom and very comfortable bed. The in-house restaurant was excellent.

Staff at our Abode lied to us about why we had to change rooms mid way through our stay then gave us a smaller room then we paid for. Very disappointed.

I love Abode Hotel in Malua Bay. It will always be the place I stay when down the South Coast. The huge rooms with ocean views, close to shops and restaurants but still quiet and peaceful. The staff are so nice and helpful. This place is a holiday luxury dream.

I stayed at the Abode Kingston this weekend and found it a clean, large room with adequate amenities. The beds were comfy. The bathroom and kitchenette were well organised and clean. I’m very happy with my experience and as a frequent traveller to Canberra, I will be staying here from now on when I visit.

Enjoyed staying for a week. In room facilities are not that great for the price; but not bad though. Please consider placing a work table in every room! Great hot water system. You get instant hot water from the rain shower. This is relaxing after a long tiring day!

Close to Westfield shopping mall, bus depot and a park with playground close by. Service was great on entry. Restaurant in building. Only thing I didn’t like was the bed. I’m a soft bed person.

Really nice apartment hotel with friendly staff and reasonable prices. The location is perfect if you are working at one of the federal government agencies in Woden, and is in close proximity to the shopping mall where there is a good selection of restaurants. The restaurant down stairs is also pretty good if you don't feel like cooking. The rooms are well equipped and range from a basic room with a microwave and Kettle to rooms with their own kitchen and exercise bike.

Location is great. Near bus depot, shopping centre, a few cafes and restaurants. Room is nice and spacious. Although, only got one pillow on our bed, shower handle is broken. Haven't need room serviced so can't comment on that. Except noticed they serviced other rooms and they use their room to chuck all dirty towels, bed sheets etc on the floor, with door open. Looks very unprofessional.

Comfortable stay that unfortunately favors aesthetics over quality. I stayed at Abode for 4 nights. My room was smartly adorned in a modern and clean furnishings. However, a permeable later of dust clung onto the bedding and furniture, even after repeated visits from the cleaners. What was most alarming was the corner cutting in terms of build quality: the handle in my shower dislodged without effort; one of the tiles was loose; my mattress had worn out springs that created an uncomfortable dip in my bed. These were minor issues but collectively spoke to an acute lack of care when it comes to the small things. In saying that, the service at Abode was excellent; staff were hospitable and willing to go the extra mile in directing me to nearby attractions. Check in and check out were seamless and done in what felt like seconds. Ultimately, Abode suffers from misplaced priorities: they've focused on designing rooms that pop with eye-catching modern sensibilities, rather than nailing the basics. The staff is fantastic and the location is convenient but without a grasp of the fundamentals, Abode is difficult to recommend.

Well priced hotel with kitchenette facilities available in rooms. No parking for hotel but there is a pay parking lot available across the road which empties out around 4 pm.

Comfortable, quite room with friendly staff and very close to the Westfield shopping centre. Staff were really helpful and friendly, will definitely opt to stay here again when I’m back in the area.

A great hotel conveniently located near Westfield. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean and quiet with a great bathroom W/rainfall style shower head. The in-room washing machine was a great idea too. The only downside is that I couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work, despite following staff directions … but otherwise fine. Recommended for any business traveller.

We had the most amazing meal tonight at No 10! We are international and interstate friends who decided to have a quick meal at Abode where our friend was staying. It was hard to choose a main from the menu as there were so many tempting dishes. We all settled on the same meal which was the Sirloin steak on mushroom risotto… yum yum yum! And if that wasn't enough to rave about then our dessert arrived. We each chose one and shared them. We picked the date and caramel pudding, the donuts and our pick was the pineapple sorbet concoction which was out of this world. The best meal I've had in a very long time.

Great room, in functionality, comfort and cleanliness. Had all amenities and appliances including microwave, stovetop, dishwasher, cookware, washing machine etc. Great location and staff. Only minor complaints were the lack of a television remote, and the bunk beds had a loud squeak. Overall great experience and would highly recommend.

Hotel is in a central location to the Woden CBD with a beautifully decorated restaurant below. The food was delicious (try the Salmon! ) And the staff were so lovely and friendly. The room was beautiful and clean with a nice bathroom and clean kitchen area. It's easy (and fast) getting a Taxi or an Uber, but night life is scarce.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms, spacious, clean and tidy. So far I cannot fault it. We are a long stay almost two weeks, it feels like home.

If during your stay you need to cook they have everything necessary also they have a very useful washing machine and dishwasher. The rooms are clean and the service is good. If you need a short term place this is the one also because there are shops near by. I arrived to this place while looking for my own rental and staying here saved me money. If you dont have a car Woden bus station is a few steps away and buses to many place go out from there.

Clean, friendly staff and well presented, but the restaurant was closed for the weekend and there's nowhere to park your car if you drive there or pick up a rental at the airport.

Perfect for families, 2 rooms interconnect to form one family room "perfect! ". Very spacious, clean and its location makes it an ideal spot for those visiting friends and families if you prefer your own privacy. Close proximity to all major shopping, and dinning areas with blenty of parking in front of hotel. Please take note of council signage for parking time limit, the last thing you want is a parking fine as a souvenir fir your visit… Enjoy!

Rooms have lots of apartment style features, washing machine, microwave. Cant comment on value for money as work paid. Zero views/outlook — convenient for work with commonwealth agencies in Woden.

A hotel designed by someone who has watched too many reno shows. The style is cold and the decor doesn't fit the room. TV mounted too low because the lights from the kitchenette extend too far and obstruct the space where it should be, random mirror for super tall people to fill the space above the light. There is no desk and the windows are filthy.

Room o. K. Nice and clean and modern, but no parking available. Reception staff and hotel maids very pleasant. Food average. Overall very nice.

Great hotel for a casual 1 night stay if travelling for work. Comfortable and does the job. The cafe/restaurant downstairs does great quick lunch.

The room is very nice. The view from the room is nice but a lot of car park below. Proximity to local shopping is great with a major shopping center being walking distance. My only concern is the car park with a lot of evidence of break ins which put me on edge. All up I'm very happy with the room and the price.

Rooms were really well set up for families with small children. Restaurant was really nice but a bit pricey. Some extra touches for kids like plastic cups would be great.

Not as great as imagined. Out of four nights our room only got cleaned once despite hanging the 'make my abode' sign on the door. And it only got cleaned because we asked at the desk — the nice boy apologised and offered to call house keeping while the rude lady decided to butt into the conversation when he had everything under control to offer excuses. If it's busy maybe you should have extra staff on. The second day same thing, came back after 5pm from being out all day and the room still wasn't clean. We at least managed to get some fresh towels on request.

Terrific place to stay. Great service very clean rooms and new. Kids loved the bunk beds. Booked online however expect a 2% surcharge if paying with Credit Card on arrival. No parking at hotel, however plenty paid parking out front, very cheap. Great value for money.

Neat location and very friendly staff. The price is exceptional so what more can you ask for? It's very clean and all amenities such as shops are close by. The free Wi-Fi is great. Try and get top floor.

Stayed in a King Studio. Greeted by lovely staff at the reception, with lots of additional information about restaurants and opening hours as I was staying over Easter holidays. Room was clean and very nicely presented. Bed was nice and I loved extra blankets provided in the room. Shower room was big, except there was no exhaust fan in the ceiling. Quite and effective air conditioner in the room. There was no window and was hard to get a fresh air, so we put fan on. Great location with 5 minutes walking distance to westfeild. Would recommend this place for my friends.

Room was great up until late at night when the airconditioning started making a whinning noise that we initially thought was an siren. This went on for 3 hrs from 12am through to 3am. Night staff were not helpful.

I am not one to suffer from allergies but got some kind of allergic skin condition, very itchy and red everywhere after staying here for 3 days. Had to fork out for meds etc so added to my cost of stay. Room was not cleaned every day either.

SCABIES! bed linen not cleaned properly as I have contracted scabies after staying here for 3 nights. Not happy and will be writing a scathing email to management seeking compensation for the medication I have purchased as a result. Disgusting!

It's great not bad for its price. The only problem I found was there was no free parking attached to it.

Woeful abode, no Foxtel for the rainy day. Could not accommodate for an additional chair for the room, and a snarly reception on signing in. Expensive room for little value… book in early to other accommodation if you come for Kanga 2017.

A great new hotel with extra facilities and decent sized rooms. The bed was super comfy and the kitchenette had most things we needed.

Stayed here in their service apartments for my wife's temporary relocation. Nice and clean rooms, spacious living area. Located in a quiet street and a massive car park across the road, fantastic for weekend stay.

Nice staff staying in upgraded room has a couch. Everything looks really nice. Also there is no phone in the room a bit strange for me coming from America.

Location was very convenient. Rooms were like a small one room apartment. Would have liked the full housekeeping to happen without needing to ask and disliked the 1gb limit on internet. Staff were very helpful nonetheless.

OK as a small conference venue. A/V facilities are a bit limited, coffee shop is not open in the morning.

Very small rooms with a king bed taking up all the space. Plumbing screams when anybody uses the water. Room often not cleaned, not all towels replaced one for one; basically cleaning is hopeless. Lighting is poor in room and bathroom, only one bedside lamp. Washer dryer combo does not dry clothes completely, and had to take to laundromat to completely dry.

We had a very nice room, very clean, everything we need… a faboulous king size bed… will most probably stay there again…

The plumbing all over the building makes screaming noises whenever anyone uses taps and showers so this is disruptive when people are up super early or doing things late at night. Restaurant underneath is run by kids who don't seem to have any prior experience and it is seperate to the hotel with nothing put in place to charge meals to the room. One of those places that's trying to be 'contemporary' but everything is on the cheap.

Very nice hotel. Our room had a mini kitchen, washing machine and dryer combo. Comfy beds. Clean and modern. Front desk staff well presented but could be a little more informative and go the extra mile, a smile and 'how are you today' would be great. Would definitely stay again when in Canberra.
