Great motel. Modern and great being pet friendly… highly recommend for people to stay here with pets.

Great service, clean well appointed rooms. Home away from home… almost.

Good location and was well kept. The only problem I had was that the bed was too soft.

Absolutely a fantastic experience and such a good facility especially if you have to go with pets. Neat and clean and totally pet friendly. The only thing we missed was a proper breakfast option.

Recently stayed with our German Shepherd in a pet friendly room which had a Queen size bed (we bought his own dog bed). What an absolute welcome surprise to find nice, modern, clean and fully equipped accommodation within a stones throw of Canberra's cafes that not only allows pets but actively caters for them, including a little welcome doggie pack! (bowl, ball, poo bags). Room opens onto grassed area which is perfect for dogs. All possible amenities are thoughtfully and tastefully provided. Very highly recommended, we will be back!

The beds are extremely soft — no good if you any lower back issues. Dog was barking uncontrollable — owner apparently left the dog in room whilst out. It is understood that accomodation is non-smoking however some patrons were smoking in their rooms filling the corridors with smoke.

Ideal if you have your own transport. Good facilities and has most of the kitchen utensils you require. Nearest restaurants are the Best Western next door and Hermione German Club. Rooms are clean but decorated in blues and greys with harsh bright led lights that make the place feel cold. Staff are excellent but are not there 24hrs. If it felt more cosy then more stars!

Abode Narrabundah is a home away from home. It's perfect for a getaway with a couple of friends, your partner, family or even if you're travelling solo. The rooms are very comfortable and inviting, the beds in my apartment were all very soft but my companions and I all slept well each night. The abode also allows pets at an additional cost if you love travelling with your pooch.

Very clean and modern with all the facilities needed. Nice kitchenette and complete with washer and dryer.

Nice hotel. Although there were no sheets for our child who had to sleep on the sofa lounge. Also, this is a dog friendly hotel, so expect to find pet hair in your room. Comfortable place to stay on the golf course. Our room was like an apartment with kitchen and laundry, including dryer.

We booked this at the very last minute and they were exceptionally accommodating. Wr chose this hotel as they accepted dogs. Room was comfortable and clean, and being able to bring our dog in made it perfect.

Rooms were well kept, clean, and comfortable. Excellent staff who were always willing to assist. I was very impressed with the hotel.

Rooms and service were excellent. However, its location is a bit out of a travel from the city centre. If you're not driving or looking for somewhere closer to the city, this might be a slight issue.

I booked two rooms for 6 adults and one dog! We easily could check in after hours. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staffs were helpful and friendly. We including our dog loved the place. Very pleased with our experience. We will go back there again if we need to visit Canberra again.

We were in a room with an adjoining door and could hear the party happening in the next room. Fortunately those people went out at 11pm and we were able to sleep. However they came back at 5am and were noisy in the hallway and their room for about 40 mins. To be fair, our booking was very last minute and we suspect we were given (one of) the last available room (s). The shower water coverage was rubbish, but everything else great!

Tidy pretty studio, best part was laundry facilities inside the room, that's everything needed for a short stay. However, the air-con/heating did not work, doesn't matter what temp it was set — just felt like fixed at a central temp level. Canberra night was so cold I felt like I couldn't much in the room other than hide inside the bed…

Its very clean and nice staff but its about 12 min drive from the city. The kitchen is great.

Really nice clean service apartment with all you may need. Very polite personal and enough free parking next to complex. The only negative thing I noticed is a bit weak noise I see isolation from the hallway. Noisy neighbours can cause some disturbance on the way out/in apartment. Recommend to everyone.

Great reception. Good location. Dog friendly. I've booked a dog friendly room with a king size and a queen size bed. It's clean spacious and have all the equipment you may need to cook a meal.

Lovely room but the water and heater are cold.

Summary: OK at best. Much better places to stay in Canberra for similar cost. Our experience was that on the positive, the place was modern and clean. Unfortunately this was outweighed by the negatives which included: A noisey power board in the wardrobe that buzzed all night. Was tempted to turn off the main switch in order to circumvent the insomnia but thought it preferable to maintain power to prevent frost bite. Our aircon wasn't working at all and staff clearly were aware of the issue and used every dodgy trick in the book to obsfucate the situation. Was even asked by the receptionist where we were from, as if my usual geolocation had some bearing on the functioning of their dodgy air conditioning units — her point being that we were clearly too stupid to know if in fact the thing was actually working or not and that perhaps it was just that we weren't used to Canberra winters!? The overall impression was that their care factor was zero. We did end up being given a small blow heater that looked and smelt like it had been picked up on special from the local two dollar shop. To be fair though, it did ward off the hypothermia. The wall with our adjoining room was thinner than Boarding House soup, meaning we were privy to the phone conversation of the bonehead next door at 6.30 on Sunday morning. It also meant we were able to hear, smell and just about taste their breakfast each morning.

We had a good time place was really clean and we got exactly what we expected highly recommended.

Stayed overnight with my 2 kids (6 and 4) over the Queen's Birthday long weekend. Location is convenient with a short drive to the City and popular suburbs. A bit out of the way but good location backing on to the Golf Course. The rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities you would expect from a serviced apartment. Everything was clean and tidy.

Clean, spacious and well maintained. However, my room was not completely separated from the lounge, which had its nuances.

Nice transit hotel. Nice to have a view over the pitch n putt course. Also pet friendly (Yay! )

Comfy bed. Room well equipped. Good selection of channels on tv. Clean. Nearby Gym is very convenient. Surface area of the hotel is massive. Felt like a marathon walking from my room to reception.

The rooms here a very spacious. Normally thr hallway is quite small and cramped in hotel rooms. But there was plenty of room here.

Loved it. Drove back from Melbourne and wanted to stay just one night. The room was so cozy that extended our stay to one more night simply for the fact that the room was amazing. The fact that the rooms had a washing machine and dryer was the icing on the cake. Recommended for everyone. Pluses: Cleanliness, Facilities, HD TV, Washing Machine and Dryer, A good coffee machine with coffee pods, and friendly staff. Minus: just a one: an in house restaurant would add a lot of value to the place.

Modern Deco, clean and comfortable. Nothing more you need for an overnight stay. Great price as well!

A hotel room designed as an invitation. A small space with all the creature comforts of a home away from home. With cheap rates and unobtrusive service you would think the developer is trying to entice people to live and work in Canberra. Who would do such a thing? It's a possibility — especially with places as inviting and fresh and comfortable as Abode Narrabundah. One tick short (work) of a tree change. Worth checking out.
